See what? Sky spun around to see where the Hufflepuff Captain was pointing and gasped. "It looks like...." Her voice trailed off as she thought she saw the light of a weak patronus confirming her horrible thought. What were Dementors doing on the grounds?! She was torn between staying put and going to help. She would be expected to help as one the upper years, right? But she really didn't want to go over there. Not after the things that she'd heard about those creatures. Plus, it would totally disregard everything they had been told during that recent lecture. But, at the same time, she would feel guilty about not trying to help and then something happened......? Guilt was worse than trouble.

Decision made, Sky took off running towards the seating area, getting her wand ready at the same time.

The cold was just distracting to the boy now, shivering so much he could hardly focus on the beans.. not that he wanted to, he really just wanted to push all thoughts of them far away. But this was his responsibility, yeah? And he felt he should at least help out even if he'd rather be inside the comfort of his dorm room.. even more so now that he didn't have his cloak.

His eyes drifted over to Ella and he gave her an odd look as she was still eating that blasted ice cream as cold as it was.. though he had a pretty good idea why. Shaking his head from those thoughts, his eyes fell onto the grass.. was that ice? He started to bend down to look when he heard it. That scream. His eyes snapped up as the color drained from his face. That scream that would forever haunt his memories.. why was he hearing it again so soon?

The Prefect looked around frantically at the faces in the immediate vicinity, not finding the one he was looking for. Feeling a tug on his sleeve, he looked and saw the Hufflepuff Captain, then he turned and followed the direction of her pointing spoon. What was that? He could sense there was something there, something not right.. but it was too dark and far away to really make it out. "Ella," he said, his insides gripped with fear. "Where's Minerva?"

And yes, Sky, he had a bad feeling about this too..

This had to be a joke. It just had to be. Perhaps Professor Lafay had decided to scare the students for fun. It seemed like something she'd enjoy doing. The blonde decided this had to be it as she finished off the rest of the ice cream, eyes still on the weird figures in the distance. This...was just a joke.

And then...that Slytherin girl was running off. "Wait! I don't think that's such a good-" But she was gone. Not even a goodbye or anything! "Maybe she's in on the joke too," She said aloud to whoever was listening, a thoughtful expression on her face.

OH. OH. OH. AIREY would know about this, wouldn't he? The sixteen year old took her spoon and jabbed him in the side gently. JAB. JAB. JAB.

"Professorrrrrrrrr, did you do this?" And she took off his blindfold so he could see properly cause she was so helpful. Cold too but mostly helpful. "Did you make those things appear as a prank?" That's what this was, yeah?

...And then screaming. Well that was the intended outcome of a scary prank, yeah? The screaming thing and the chaos thing. Maybe this was a drill or something? Clever professors drilling them on what to do in situations like this. They really did deserve ice cream!

BLINK.

"Min?" She said, turning to face Ethan with a puzzled expression. "I..don't know? I thought she was here. I mean she gave me her ice cream." BEAM! "I didn't see her leave, though? Maybe she went to get some more?"

Where was she going? Ethan turned to see Sky head off.. maybe it wasn't the best idea to run towards something when you weren't sure what it was. But it was a little late to stop her and he turned back to Ella, hearing her words. "Joke..?" he repeated, staring at her incredulously. "I don't think this is a-"

He trailed off as he watched her start poke the professor and talking to him in a sing-song voice. He closed his eyes briefly, mentally face-palming. She was lucky she was done with that stupid ice cream or he'd probably take that bowl and throw it in the lake. "No.. I don't think she went to get some more," he said, growing a bit frustrated as he shook his head. "I think that was her.."

"..screaming.." He looked up as he heard a scream again. This time he was sure he could make out words. "Did you hear that?" He turned back to Ella, fear written on his face. "Someone cast a patronus charm." His eyes drifted back towards the seating area.. was what they saw a dementor? He could feel his heart thudding in his chest as thoughts swirled through his brain.

"I need to go.." he said suddenly, turning back to Ella. He was sure that scream belonged to Minerva and he was terrified that she was in danger. "I think you and Kat should get everyone inside the castle to safety." Without waiting for an answer, Ethan gripped his wand tightly and sprinted towards the seating area.

Someone definitely knew Kat's name... but awkwardly Kat didn't know hers. That was weird. Was she that popular now with the pretty prefect badge and a familiar Keeper face? Uhm. Kat blinked a bit and just smiled at the Ravenclaw, who probably was just the same year as she was. WAIT. Dying? Vomming? "... No," was all Kat said. But yes, what Ella said: nobody was allowed to die.

Oh thank Merlin, Ethan had arrived. He was late too, and hopefully he had a great detention in the Dungeons. Like that was even possible. Ella was having a break so that meant Kat and Ethan together. "You and me for now. It's all gonna o-" - kay. Then the coldness.

Bipolar weather. Urgh. Well this would've been a perfect time to summon her sweater, which she left in her dormitory. If she only knew that it would be suddenly cold, then maybe she should've brought it with her. This place needed a weather forecasting channel like those Muggles have.

Yes, Sky, this is not good. "I see it too," Kat replied to Ella, and looked up again. Foggy. Nobody told them about this extra fog!factor in the Fright Fest. Totally unplanned and not part of this Prefects' Event.

What was happening? The Slytherin prefect suddenly was lost. So much things in her mind right now. A certain boy and then the whole "making sure students don't die" and stuff. YES, Flammy, did you do all of this? Kat looked over at Ella and their Astronomy professor.

Ella had indeed heard things...and seen things...and she had the overwhelming urge to sing about said things though she couldn't for the life of her figure out why because the screaming and the blowing of a Captain's whistle were, in the back of her mind, telling her to snap out of it.

She returned Ethan's incredulous look with a mock one of her own and she pointed her spoon at him now, ignoring Professor Airey's sticky suit that was now covered in ice cream where she'd jabbed him. "Maybe she saw a spider or somethinggggg," She offered, thinking this was quite possible. "The cupcakes do look like them, y'know." Speaking of, she hadn't had one yet...

And where had Emmaleigh and that boy run off to? They had been here a minute ago. WEIRD! They were like ninjas! ICE CREAM NINJAS! IHDFUHDLJHF! COOL! SO COOL! Could Ella be an ice cream ninja too?

And then Ethan was leaving them and Ella couldn't help but pout. WHY was everyone leaving. People always leave. Le sighhhhh.

"Kat, you heard Prefect Bossy-pants. Let's get these guys inside." BEAM! "Professooooooooor, will you help us get these guys insideeee?" Cause just in case this wasn't a trick, which it probably was, Airey would probably be useful.

The blonde then eyed those left at the challenge and said, "Alright, you guys! Off to the castle we gooooo! Stick together and we can hold hands if you wanna...it's dark and cold and we should stay closeeee." BEAM! "We should go right to the kitchen and continue this celebration there with some ice cream!"

Welp, come along. Back to the castle.

Prefect bossy-pants. SNIGGER. LOL.

Yes, okay. Let's bring them all in. However, with all this screaming AND loudness from everyone in all the station (yes, Kat could hear them because.... duh, they were L O U D.) nobody would be able to hear them. "PEOPLE. CASTLE. NOW." Were they ignoring them? Really?

Fine.

Kat took her wand out of her pocket trying to resist the urge to use a charm or two to let them all listen. "Sonorus." Hopefully they would listen now and stop eating the beans. They had more inside, for the record!

"Everyone, let's get inside. NOW. Please." That was the best Kat could do. She wasn't the type who would, you know, use those 'magic words' all the time. It was rare, okay? SO GET INSIDE NOW.

Oh, right. Her wand. "Quietus." And back to everyone. "There's ice cream inside... so nobody please break Ella's mood." Girl was cute when she was happy about ice cream. Was that an odd compliment coming from a Slytherin?

OH! Kat's voice was LOUD! Loud Kat was loud and Ella APPROVED cause she had even said 'please' and n'awwwwww! "That was so polite, Kat!" Ella BEAMED and patted the girl on the back, all proud and ready to help Loud!Kat lead the bertie bott's challengers inside cause this was like an actual mission and Ella had always wanted to go on a mission and Theoman had once complained about their lack of missions and now that she'd saved him and he was alive they could go on one and YAY!

The blonde casually slipped her hand into Kat's, grabbing Theo's with her other one. She was gonna keep these guys with her, okay? Cause the BUDDY system and these were her snake buddies and she was gonna stay closeeee to them so they could be safe and get back together and share ice cream and secrets and be friends!

And she looked over her shoulder to make sure anyone else around was moving towards the castle, giving STERN looks before cracking up cause Ella wasn't stern. PSHHHHHHHHHHH. Not at all.

Oh yes, THIS flavor was most certainly ----- but his thoughts were all jumbled and cut off when Miss Ella suddenly removed his blindfold. Prank what? Huh? "I didn't do it this time," he said with both arms up in the air as if he were being held up by wizard cops.

And then there was screaming and the astronomy was right up on his feet....and gawking at students running TOWARDS them. HEY! No fair! They needed to wait for him! Well, those that went towards the noise that is. To those heading towards the castle, "Wands at the ready!" Never knew what might come at them.

Airey could see all sorts of silvery shapes in the distance and the overwhelming feeling of cold seemed to intensify with every step he took....

Hmmm....odd.
