 Image by LilFox06 OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Tillstorm. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.
Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Areas. Healer Tillstorm will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.
If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Observation Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.
OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Tillstorm will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.
I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened. | |

Following Cece into the room, he still could not stop his scratching and it was driving him insane. Just think of all the dead skin cells that were now stuck to his suit.
Actually. No. Don't think about that because the thought would probably make him want to pass out.
"Well..." he said as he hopped up on to the bed and rolled his sleeves to show his skin. Sweet solstice it looked like he had a bad rash. Man!wibble. "Right around the beginning of my lesson is when the scratching started...I really just need an anti-itching cream."
Because he really didn't want to admit out loud that Medea had bested him.
Bloody itching powder...

Cece looked at his arms when he pulled up his sleeves. Wow! Not only were his arms all red and bumpy but there was flaking skin all over too. Someone needed some moisturizer, not an anti-itching cream. "With all that flaking skin you have there I'd say you're more in need of some moisturizing lotion." That would take care of the itch.
Unless...
"Are you allergic to anything?" Maybe it was something he ate since the rash seemed to be all over.

He didn't really care what it was the she prescribed to him as long as it worked. He could probably also use a proper shower, but he wasn't about to voice that out loud. He needed his own luxury mesh net bath sponge for that.

ANYWAY.
"Lint," he mumbled while he continued to itch. "Well, not really. I just don't fancy it. Or animal fur...." Cue some awkward fidgeting on his behalf. "There was this...powder in my suit though...."

Airey now wore a look on his face that could only be described as resembling a kicked cruppy. He almost felt as though he was being scolded by his mother. Squirming a bit on the bed, he tried his best not to continue scratching and his face contorted a bit because of it.
"Because I didn't put powder in my suit," he grumbled. Which ALSO meant that Medea had touched his suits now that he thought about it. JUST HOW MANY OF THEM HAS SHE PUT POWDER IN?! He was going to have to wash them. ALL of them. His blue eyes flicked upwards to meet the Healer's gaze. "It was Medea," he grumbled under his breath.

She put the powder in his clothes? "Why would she put powder in your clothes? Do you have a problem with sweating? Did she think you needed something to help with that?"
The more important question though was how did she have access to his clothes, or his closet that she assumed his suits were hanging in.

Why so many questions Cecelia?! He had told her that there was powder and it had irritated his skin and it was itchy...so could he just get his whatever lotion and go. Did she really need to know all of these details?
Or was she just relishing in his suffering? Hmmmm?
EXCUSE YOU! He did not have a sweating problem.
"I most certainly do not!" he said in a defensive tone. Could they just leave it at that? Only he knew the Healer well enough to know that she would make him tell her before he would get any treatment. "I suspect it was....revenge for....my whoopee cushion prank at the feast..." he said with a forced innocence complete with batting eyelashes.

"Someone's a little testy about his sweating problem now isn't he."
Oh this kept getting better and better.
Whoopee cushion prank? Revenge? "You know, if you two were students I'd be giving you both detentions for your pranks." As it were though, they were both professors. "Since I can't do that though, I'm half tempted to not help you out with your little problem here." Who was she to get in the middle of a prank war between two professors.
Knowing it wasn't ethical to make the man suffer though, she retrieved a potion from a locked cupboard. "Here, take this, it'll stop that itching of yours. That is provided you find it in yourself to take that suit off and get yourself a shower." Seriously, why didn't he do that already? "Keeping on the same suit all day long isn't going to help anything you know." No matter how much he loved his suit.

"I DON'T HAVE A SWEATING PROBLEM!" he grumbled under his breath while he continued to scratch the back of his neck.
That kicked cruppy look? Yeah, it was back now and if it would not have not compromised his manliness he probably would have whimpered a bit. Instead he just continued to stare at the Healer while itching all over. "You wouldn't..."
Oh good. She wasn't going to leave him like this. Not that he would have anyone else to complain to about it. Going to the Headmistress was just out of the question and the Potions Mistress already thought he was a few stars short of a constellation.
"Thanks, Cece" he muttered while accepting the lotion. His suits. His poor suits. He was convinced now that Medea had probably put powder in ALL of his suits by this point. Looked like he would just have to wash them all...which means he only had his pajama suit left to wear. Sweet solstice...this was awkward. "Yeah....I'll do that..."
Slowly, he got up off the bed and looked down at the sheets on it. Those should probably be washed too...

"Fine, you don't have a sweating problem." But he did have a problem.
Oh that look just was not right. "Stop looking at me like that mister. You got yourself into this mess. When are you going to learn not to mess with Medea?" That woman was not someone to mess around with. She could out prank just about anyone, including William and Oliver. "You're welcome. And don't you go drinking all of that at once. There's enough there for a couple of doses. If the itching doesn't go away by tomorrow morning you can take the second half of it." Of course if he bathed and put on powder free clothes he shouldn't have that itching problem anymore.
Remembering his dry, flaky skin she went back over to her potions cupboard and grabbed out something else for Airey. "Here you go," she said handing him the ointment. "This cream will help with that dry skin of yours. You really should start using a moisturizer on a daily basis. It'll keep the flaking skin off your suits." She could just see him now. Running to Madame Primpernelles to get beauty products to protect his suits from his shedding skin. 
She should insist on getting free products for sending business their way.

Back to looking like a kicked cruppy, Airey looked down at the POTION in his hand. Stop messing with Medea? Heh. How about the day after never? It was too much fun, the game they had going on, and everyone needed some fun in their lives.
"Nah, I think I'll keep playing," he replied with a smug wink. It wasn't often that he got bested by someone when it came to pranks and Medea was good. Very good. He was actually curious as to how she would get him next. It was exciting. Made him feel alive. "But thanks for the suggestion."
He glanced back at the potion and then at the cream she handed to him. He didn't suppose that the potion would taste good, so he wouldn't even bother asking. As for the cream...he sort of just wanted to take a bath in the stuff. "I DO moisturize," he said with a slight man!wibble. Didn't she know that between 30,000 and 40,000 of skin cells fall off every HOUR and made dust?! There was just no avoiding it! "I suppose I could get some stronger stuff though..."
He would totally be hitting up Madame Primpernelles next chance he got.
"Um, thanks again," he said before itching his arm again.

Well apparently the man hadn't learned his lesson yet. "Fine, keep messing with her so I can laugh the next time you have to see me because she got you again." Oh yeah, she would be laughing.
And there he goes getting all defensive again. "Fine, you don't sweat and you do use moisturizer, she said as she tried not to roll her eyes at him. "Yeah, something stronger might work.". Then again it might not work. She wouldn't tell him that just yet though.
"You're welcome," she responded, then he started to scratch again. "Now drink that potion so you stop itching." Was she going to have to treat him like a little kid and pour it down his throat?

Airey chuckled at her response. They would see who would have the last laugh and hopefully surely it would be him. He had gotten her pretty good at the opening feast. Muggle objects seemed to be her weakness, so he would have to take that approach.
Oh, right, drinking the potion. Tipping the vial to his lips, the astronomer swallowed his first dose of the liquid. His face contorted slightly at the flavor. Sooooooooooo not pumpkin juice.
"I won't have an allergic reaction to anything in here, will I? No weird side effects?" Like his skin turning purple or something like that.
Hey....that wasn't such a bad idea. Hmmm.... IDEAS!

She never thought she would be so relieved to see the Healer before today. In the silence of the waiting room she thought she might have been going deaf and the ringing seemed louder...maybe that was just her imagining things? Whatever it was, she eagerly hopped up and followed Healer Tillstorm to a free bed.
After taking a seat she waited hoping the woman would immediately pull out her wand, cast a spell and everything would be fine again.
That wasn't how it worked though, noooope, there had to be words, words that hurt her ears. "The pretty kind that go BOOM" What other kinds of explosions were there? Oh...unless she didn't mean it like that. "My friends and I were practising some blasting spells on things down by the lake, everything went BOOM and there were pretty colours added to them making the explosions even cooler." She wouldn't speak any louder. In the somewhat silence, her own voice above a certain volume hurt.

"Do I look like I care if the explosions were pretty?" She was NOT amused by this child. After hearing the story she crossed her arms over her chest. "So what you're telling me is you and your friends decided to practice dangerous spells, unsupervised and without using protectice gear." Earplugs anyone?
"And speak up child, I can barely hear you." Yeah, she may have raised her voice a little. YOu know, to show the girl how to properly speak.

Right, she didn't figure she would care that the explosions were pretty. Just something she was putting out there in case the woman ever wanted to come watch then it would be supervised and Mr. Firth wouldn't be able to take points. Yeah, she was still sore about that part.
And could she speak a bit quieter please???? The room was too silent to have her making such a noise with words! Merlin!
"The spells aren't dangerous if you know what you're doing and my planning extends to not getting caught. Lottie usually worries about safety but she wasn't interested in coming with me to get stuff blown up." All a part of the 'never ever listen to Alexa' campaign and now she didn't blame her. Besides, loud noises affected Lottie. She wouldn't have been able to come.
And there the woman went making loud noises with words--was she getting louder???? Lex winced. This wasn't going to work. Half whispering was her way of suggesting the Healer whisper tooooooo. "I'd love to speak up but most noises hurt my ears now, especially in rooms as quiet as this one. That's why I came here, hoping you could fix it..." WITHOUT DAMAGING IT WORSE FIRST!!
Ugh. Lex reached into her pocket and pulled out her comfort food, a chocolate frog and helped herself to the head while she waited for the Healer to start wand waving and making her feel better.

"I'm sorry Alexa but I couldn't hear you over the that clattering noise." Bending over she picked up the clipboard and...
Oops!
Dropped it again.
CRASH!
But not before snatching the chocolate frog from the girl. "This is NOT the Great Hall. There will be NO eating in here." Turning to the trash bin she tossed the candy in it. "Do I need to write your father another letter telling him of your eating habits?"
She would do it you know.

CRASH!
The noise made her hands fly to her ears but the sudden slapping against them only made them hurt worse. She didn't know how much of this she could take. Was dropping that thing necessary?? Headache, she was getting one.
She finally began to relax with the clipboard secured in Healer Tillstorm's hand again when ANOTHER crash happened. This one had her wincing as her ears did that throbbing thing they were doing earlier. Aw man, just when she'd gotten them to stop. "Owwwwwwwww..." She muttered, not daring to get any louder. Lex tried taking another bite of her chocolate frog to forget the pain BUT THE WOMAN STOOOLE IT!!!
And OF COURSE there was MORE loud talking. Lex squeezed her eyes shut, resigned to the fact that the woman might just have been trying to PERMANENTLY DAMAGE HER HEARING.
"That won't be necessary ma'am." Why bother? She'd already binned her baby. Sniffle. Between her ears and her wasted sugar she was miserable and wanted ICE-CREAM--did the Healer have any???
