Professor Bellaire is already waiting for you by the lake with a crackling fire set up in the centre of a circle of tents. There is one for everybody. In front of each tent is a cushion, for you to sit on of course while the lesson is being taught.Though of course if you prefer sitting on the grass you're free to do so as well.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey entered into his tent again. Lucky him, the tent grow in size on the inside. He looked up at the top of the tent and noticed that most of the extra space went towards the ceiling, but widened enough too. No problem though, it only meant he would never bump his head on the top if he woke up suddenly. "I'm good for the night." Oakey said popping his head and one arm out dragging his bag full of comics in with him. Cinderella was a nice story and all, but The Flash just Trapped Gorilla Grodd in the Speed Force. Now the Scarlet Speedster needs to escape with letting the Crazed Super Monkey out either!...Exciting stuff.
Peyton eyed the tent. Would she be able to pull that off? A little trickle of insecurity grasped at her. She held her wand to her chest, her eyes narrowed in an analyzing way at the tent. If she was able to cast the charm on the cup correctly, then she must be able to repeat it on the tent. Just like her daddy said; if you don't try it, you'll never know and never succeed.
Even if her Captain's offer to the professor was tempting.
Peyton wanted to prove to herself that she could do this. With a determined nod, she approached a tent with a huff. She totally had this. Yep. She just had to believe in herself --though at times that was a struggle for this Baltazar.
As it often happened, the thought of her surname brought out the fire in this young girl. With a crooked smile, she pointed her wand at the tent. "Magnus Centrum!" she said, tapping it with her wand. Of course, the result of her work would not be shown on the outside. It was the whole point of the charm being undetectable.
Tucking her wand back into its holster, Peyton stuck her arm into the tent. It felt spacey. That was a good sign, no? She then proceeded with sticking her leg inside the tent, half her body submerged inside. Peyton felt around and finding even more space. That was a REALLY good sign. And then, she just hopped inside the tent. To her, this was a risk. She didn't want to be disappointed to find that her charm had not worked, but in the end the "risk" was well taken. Peyton found the tent roomy and nice.
She'd done it!
Apparently the snake works well under pressure?
With a slight grin to her face, Peyton sat down, her legs crossed, at the entrance of her tent. Now, that that was done, she could listen to the Cinderella story the nice librarian was telling.

Oh...it was almost time to turn in? O__O MEEP! Ella had only just finished working on her cup so she needed to finish with her tent before Professor Bellaire and Mr. Kitridge told everyone to turn in for the night.
The blonde listened as the librarian started reading Cinderella to those who were finished and tried focusing her attention on her tent. Alright, just a tap on what you wanted to use the spell on and Magnus centrum. She could totally manage that.
Concentrating...concentrating....concentrating...
TAP! "Magnus centrum!"
"Oh Merlin, please let that have worked."
Ella carefully opened the tent an peeked inside, fingers crossed that it had increased in size. BLINK. "Merlin's beard!" Grin! "This is brilliant!" And no, the tent wasn't HUGE or anything but it was definitely bigger and would make for a comfy place to sleep tonight. BEAM!
Walking back out again, the fifteen year old tucked away her wand and went to sit by Mr. Kitridge and listen to the story.
Sophia wasn't at all upset about students moving on if they had gotten comfortable with the expansion spell. She actually nodded and smiled encouragingly at those who did....
And questions...
"This is a standard spell. There is no known or official extra anything that you'd need to do to create a bigger space or to make the spell last longer. A simple finite can undo the charm. " So back to work..focus on the current spell at hand.
"For those of you who were successful in casting the charm on the cup, you're free to move on to the tents. If it is that you need help Leobald and I are here." She eyed her watch..."actually we'll have a follow up lesson. If you are unable to charm your tent you'll have to share for the night and we'll continue tomorrow." Because she would be calling light out soon and Leo would read them all a story.
Yes that could be work out quite nicely....
"And while I have your attention..home work is to write about three things that you can use this charm on besides a tent and a cup." [[This is a bonus for those who are able to complete this and send it in today April 3rd]]
Since Belle was successful with the cup, she moved onto the tent. Now this was going to be a challenge. But she knew she could do it. Then she heard the professor saying it almost time to turn in. Alright no pressure or anything....
Belle concentrated. She heard someone reading cinderella, she would listen to it after she did her tent. Belle concentrated and cleared her mind until all she focused on was the tent.
*Deep Breath* Magnus centrum! *Deep breath out*
Belle opened her eyes and then peeked inside. She DID IT!! Her tent actually looked roomier and spacious. "Woaahh..." was all she could say. She could live inside this tent. She went inside and checked it out. She was comfortable. Then she remembered she wanted to hear the story Mr. Kitridge was reading.
As Belle got out of her tent, she put her wand in a safe place and listened to the story and connecting with nature.
She was frustrated, annoyed, and really didn't like Cinderella. I mean Cinder? Why call someone that even if they slept in a fireplace. Why not call her Cindy or Ella but why call her Cinderella.
Heck she liked the Lunar stories more than that.
"Ugh Cinderella I just don't like her...she's all stupid fairy god mother-ish" now that sounded brilliant. To cover up her petty grumbling the girl took her wand in hand and tried one last time to make her tent a little more tent like and less one inch of space-like. "Magnus centrum" and she tapped the top of the tent once more and with a shove she pushed the cushion in.
Then sticking her head inside she noticed it was kind of amazing in here. Seriously. Just big enough for her to sleep and to put her overflowing bag of candy in there as well. Which immediately she picked up the almost splitting bag and with her wand she tried to practice once more.
"Magnus centrum" she tapped the bag and noticed that it stopped bulging which was good. The next thing she did was repair it and place it in her tent. Which of course she wanted to personalize and make all colorful - maybe bright green and blue? Or something amazing and colorful.

.... Cinderella?
Because they were all five? That was SO lame.
West ignored it and worked on his tent instead, confident now that he'd worked the spell out, it was just a matter of working on it on a bigger scale than a cup. Speaking of a cup... what was he supposed to do with it?
Whatevs.
He went to his tent.
... why did he need to enlarge it anyways? Like he wasn't all that fussed about sleeping in a cosy tent, it didn't have to be a palace inside. So really he didn't need to be TOO overzealous.
What if he just aimed for more room to spread out his arms so that his fingertips wouldn't touch the walls? That'd work.
Having a plan in mind West focused and tapped the tent flap. "Magnus Centrum!" And he continued ignoring the story time.

She stopped her thinking on what else to stuff in her cup when the Professor started going on about stories and turning in--they were actually camping out??? Like legit??? But...but she'd never bothered to charm her tent. She didn't think they'd need to.
If she didn't hurry then she was going to completely miss out on the story. Stories were nice right before bed, especially the ones Melanie told but she supposed the Librarian might have been just as good. This meant she had to get this tent working!!!
By the time she turned to get the tent nicely charmed Mr. Kitridge had already begun. Aww man!
"Magnus Centrum!"
Come on, work already, she wanted to settle down for the story!!....How would she know...? Lex lowered her wand and stuck her head inside, still being conscious of the story being rambled on. It looked the same. Did that mean it was wrong? Meh, she'd try again just in case. "Magnus Centrum!"
Time to check again.
She stuck her head in and grinned at all the new space she had. Awesome! BEAM. Now she could listen to the story! Hopefully she hadn't missed too much of it. Lex settled into her tent and stuck the top half of her out of it so she could continue listening while she snugglied her cushion. This was how classes should have been, ALL of them.

Now to check if it had worked. What if he had a never ending tent or something? What if he got lost in there? Was that possible? West stuck his head inside...
... and was pleased to see it WAS more roomy. He looked outside again mentally comparing it and nodded. Definitely bigger inside. Probably not a palace like some kids would try for. Or whatever.
He went inside to test it out.

Right the tent was next. Kat went over to the tents and chose one not so far-ish from the group. So actually, they were camping out tonight which was a good thing. Kat was kind of tired already, from all this tapping and charming tents and stuff. Even Kitridge was going to read them a story. Although Kat would appreciate that, she didn't want to exactly be treated as a... what? five year old? She didn't really need someone to read them a story to sleep, but it was effort from the librarian to be here. Respect would be good, I guess.
"Magnus Centrum!" Kat tapped the top of her tent and then stuck her head inside the tent. Nope, it was still cramped and tiny just as one would say it was by looking from the outside. Maybe she should try it again, with more concentration and stuff. Now that she was focused on her tent and her want for it to be more roomy, Kat tried again. "Magnus Centrum!" TAP. That should've done the trick by now. Kat stuck her head inside once more, and was glad to see that it looked more spacious compared to before. Good now, she's done it right. Kat was pleased with herself. Also... they had homework already? It seemed quite too early to, you know, announce homework before a class even ended.

Sitting down cross-legged on the cushion he pulled out the fairytale about Cinderella. Mumbling lumos Leo held up the wand over the book so he could see what he was reading.
"Everyone when you have finished your practicing you can turn in or sit up a little longer and listen to the muggle fairytale about Cinderella."
"Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl that everyone liked and that was also good. But an accident struck and the girl's mother died.........."
And Leo continued to read on as the night fell around them.
Kat stayed back for a few minutes to watch Kitridge and listen to him while he was reading them the story. The Slytherin blinked a few times as she listened to the librarian read from the book while he had his other hand held up holding his Lumos'd wand. Okay, saying that the girl's mum died was a bit sad and stuff. Kat didn't wanna listen to people dying, especially if it was a parent dying. Just too many memories. BAD memories. Also, she knew it was probably stupid to think of it but...
What the heck was a Cinderella?

Sierra eyed her tent with somewhat large eyes. It was nearly time to turn in for the night, and she still hadn't enlarged her tent. She wasn't sure why she, just one person, needed an enlarged tent. She guessed it to fulfill the whole purpose of the lesson, though. It seemed like everyone else was a step ahead of her, so she decided to hurry up and get things going.
With a tap toward her tent, she said, "Magnus Centrum!" She really hoped it worked, because otherwise, she'd look sort of silly in front of those who'd already done things correctly. Especially the younger ones. Anyway, no more wasting time. Sierra quickly stepped forward and opened the front part of her tent.
O_O
WHOA.
That was pretty cool! She looked wide-eyed at the large area ahead of her. Pretty cool, yup. Now she knew why she needed to use the charm for just one person--more was better! Whoever said less was more clearly didn't know what they were talking about.
...and now, it was time to turn in. Or listen to Cinderella. Meh.
