Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

"Really nice to finally get out of the castle, yeah?" he said with a grin as he pulled over a serving of macaroni and cheese in front of him. It was about time they had gotten a Hogsmeade weekend. And the boy really needed some time to relax between classes, homework, and practice. He really thought this year would have been easier without OWLs to worry about..
Ethan took a bite of his mac and cheese, then a sip of hot cocoa. "Not bad.. but not as good as yours," he said with a smile as he looked over towards Min. He did love when she cooked for him..
Minerva smiled and took a bite of her food, "Thanks for getting this, it's good." Looking at the food she was happy just to be out. "I feel like this term has been a blur so far, so much going on." She took a drink of her cocoa, that was very yummy and on a cold day it was nice.
"It seems crowded today. I like seeing all the older students here. It's nice to see them again at times." She glanced around the crowded tables and then smiled at Ethan. "It's even better that I get you all to myself for once. I never see you with classes and quidditch." She tried to pout, but the smile wouldn't leave her face.
Oh dear. Emilie brushed the dirt off of her clothes as she stepped out of the fireplace, trying not to think about the amount of trouble she would be in if her uncle were to find out. It would all be fine, just having some fun in Hogsmeade. Which wasn't anywhere near cosy Durmstrang.
She looked around the place.. so this was the Three Broomsticks.. 'Not getting in trouble... Just having fun with.. friends.' Emilie muttered to herself.
It looked nice enough.. Different from anything she was used to, but still, nice enough.
Emilie turned around, Levi should be here any second now. He seemed to know what he was doing, so she would wait for him and not get in aaaany trouble.

Levi Cresswel stepped out not long after Emilie, ruffling his hair to rid it of the dust. He was notably less worried about getting into trouble than she was. But that was nothing new, Levi hardly ever worried about getting caught. Looking around he grinned, his friend was right. The place was too packed for them to pick out a couple of kids who didn't go to Hogwarts.
"I didn't think it'd look like... this." His brown eyes darted around the place, taking it all in before looking down at her grinning. "So we want to eat first, or would you rather explore the area?" If it were up to him, or if he were with one of his mates, they would be eating first no question. But the sixth year was something of a gentleman, and would let her decide.

Once Levi stepped out of the fireplace, bringing a new cloud of dust, Emilie calmed down a bit. He had probably done this loads of times before and knew where to go. She inspected herself quickly and decided she was dust-free before glancing around the place again. They might just be able to blend in here, there were so many students that they could easily go unnoticed. hopefully
Hearing Levi talk, Emilie looked up at him. 'Neither did I.. It's not that bad..' She noticed she was actually quite hungry, maybe breaking rules and not listening to your uncle's warnings did that. 'We could just eat something first... then decide what to do here?' You know, so they wouldn't get caught and end up being grounded the entire holidays.
Emilie eyed an empty table nearby, 'that table is empty..'
Just standing here might attract attention.

He shook his head, it didn't look too bad. Just like a place one would check if they were looking for a bunch of wizarding kids on the weekends. "For a wizarding pub, it's not. Wonder if the food's any good." It was kind of on his mind. Always. He never did find any food while wondering the castle.
And see, she was already on the same wave length as him, which made him not second guess bringing her along. "Food is good. Help us think." He grinned, leading her over to the table, placing his hands on one of the chairs he leaned heavily against it. "I don't think the menu here is any different from the other wizarding places. What do you want?"

'The ones my uncle takes me and my brother to look a lot fancier than this place though..' She decided. But Hogwarts students, or any students for that matter, probably didn't care much about fancy. Emilie surely didn't. Durmstrang's dining hall didn't look much better either.
'I thought you'd been here before.' Emilie finally said as she followed Levi to the table and sat down. She'd assumed that he liked to break rules all the time and probably did this every year, but he seemed just as new here as she did. 'Do you think they have hot cocoa here..?' That usually helped her figure things out.

ANYWAY, she was rather pleased to see the butterbeer that Vivi had already gotten from her slid across the table. See, this? This was exactly what Selina had wanted all day- to relax and just drink some butterbeer. The Hog's Head had not exactly worked in favor of that dream... yeah. But NOW she had butterbeer and a Vivi. Good choice, Selina.
She brought her something? Oh no, did they say they were going to exchange gifts or something? Hang on, it was their flat. She sat up in her seat and started to look through the pictures. Her grin grew with each one, "Vivi, its brilliant. Exactly the way that I pictured it. AND LOOK, you bought a pot." That was super grown up of her.
O.O
Yeah, that was not funny story, that was BIG story. With the pictures still in hand, she leaned over the table and slapped Vivi's wrist, "Stealing a page from your book... LEAD WITH THE HEADLINE." Dummy.
Vivi was delighted by Selina's reaction to their flat, and she wiggled around in her seat as the other girl scrutinized their photos. That was where they lived now. Or it was where Vivi lived, and she was just keeping it warm for Selina. "I did buy a pot. And some silverware and plates and things. I can't throw a party for 8 yet, but I can have two people over for dinner at a time. I'm working up to more."
Not that she had a lot of people over for dinner. Her sister and her mother, when they were in town for the day, perhaps. It would be better when Selina had graduated and moved in.
Her grin broadened when she heard herself quoted right back. The headline was...? Right! "Oh, yes... Mr. Vanderbilt is our upstairs neighbor. He helped me unpack, actually. And we have a crazy handsome neighbor down the hall... but I refuse to speak of him for fear of spoiling the surprise when you run into him on the way to the lift." Pause pause pause. "Oh, and I'm going on a date with him. Not the neighbor. Vick."

What a handsome pot. The redhead kept admiring it because it was super grown up of Vivi to go out and buy a pot. It was as if they had really grown up or at least Vivi had. They had a flat and pots and pans and they were both going to have jobs soon enough. That was sort of weird, you know, being grown up and all. This summer was going to be weird moving out of her parents house and into her flat, but Vivi had made it super comfortable. The seventh year could tell by the pictures. "That's awesome, Vivi. And can none of them match? That way its more homey and stuff." Also so that Selina could also go shopping with her.
Mr. Vanderbilt. Yeah, Selina smirked at that and nudged her best friend under the table. Okay, she had READ those letters, she understood what all of those letters meant. Mr. Vanderbilt her left butt cheek. Please. Wink for you Sherlock. "Does he really? Has be been over often?" Since he was their neighbor or something. And you know- wait hang on. HANDSOME NEIGHBOR.
She sat up in her seat and raised her eyebrow said, "Woah, woah, woah... back up. Handsome neighbor... details please." They had a handsome neighbor? Well, she better go and be friendly with the neighbors, right? Be neighborly and stuff.
AND she was going out with Vickers too. Anything else you want to tell me VIVI? "Wait, date? Date when?" A date? Like a real one?

"Nothing matches in the whole place so far. I found a sofa, and it doesn't match. My bedroom is eclectic. We're just... going to make it up as we go." After the perfection that was her home growing up, it would be nice to distance herself from that and make her own way. Even if her own way meant mismatched cushions and 18 different forks.
"No, Vick isn't over often at all. I'm still settling in, and he's busy, and I've been working. But we're going on some big date once our schedules match." Not just a big date, but Vivi's first real date. That was how it went for Hogwarts kids... dating was difficult. "He's in charge of it. I don't want any part in planning." Less pressure, plus she gave him a chance to do some major sweeping-off-her-feet.
It was impossible not to grin at Selina's interest in Handsome Neighbor. Vivi was interested, and she was dating someone. "Oh, Handsome Neighbor. We've never officially met, although I rode the lift with him a few times. He's tall and fair and dreamy. Russian, I think, based on his accent. Pretty quiet, although everyone is so far. I'll report back if any wild parties crop up. Might sneak in to get better details."

"Nothing matches?" Selina said with a grin etched on her face, "Brilliant. We can't be all serious, you know. That'd be awfully boring." And she had to say that she liked the idea of making it up as they went along. It made the whole prospect of growing up seem more like an adventure then one, huge daunting task, which in reality it was a huge task. It was all new and scary, but with Vivi as her roommate she did sort of feel loads better. Like she had someone else there with her to help and all.
Vick isn't over often at all. Translation, SELINA I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT IN PUBLIC. Yes, Vivi, Selina knew the truth. She was, after all, Watson and she prided herself on knowing such things. But honestly, there were just some details that she did not want to hear about in the middle of the day in Hogesmeade. This was sleepover talk for sure. "We'll talk more about THAT later," she said pointedly to her friend.
And then they were talking about handsome neighbor and Selina would have been lying if she said she weren't curious. In fact, she was very curious and not ashamed to admit that she was so. If they lived next to a Greek Adonis then BY MERLIN she wanted to know. Also because, like shiny things, Selina liked pretty men. "Please do. Go and be social and get details." Priorities Vivi.

Kaitlyn NEEDED a break. Seriously. All this walking around and stuff was tiring and she was oh-so-lazy. Then she noticed The Three Broomsticks to her right and thought, 'BINGO'. This looked like just the place that she could take a break and rest her feet. Cos she totally needed it. A lot of effort had gone into her travels today and meeting people. That had require plenty of effort too.
She snuck into the pub and made her way to the back, where she took a seat at one of the only free tables. She picked up a menu and stared at it. What could she possibly eat or drink. Hmmmmmm.

Elise just wanted food, and to get as far away from Chris as possible. It wasn't that she didn't like him or wasn't on speaking terms with him or anything of the sort. Not even close. Elise wanted to talk to him, but it was Hogsmeade weekend and that meant that Chris would be on a date with Minnie.
Then again, she should have avoided Hogsmeade altogether, but she couldn't. She needed to stock up on parchment since she was running out and wouldn't be going home to get more. She'd done that, gone and bought parchment and ink and a new sketchbook for her diagrams, so now it was time for food. Seeing no empty tables, Elise kicked herself mentally. She should have eaten first, then maybe she would've found a seat.
Seeing an empty seat opposite a girl who looked her age, Elise walked over there. "D'you mind if I sit here?" she asked, shifting her bag to her left arm nervously. Hopefully the girl wouldn't mind too much. Elise was nice and she'd be quiet if the other person didn't want her to be loud and talk and stuff.

She just needed food.
Kat studied the menu carefully. There were so many delicious things on it, she had no idea what to choose. A full meal? A desert? A drink? A full meal would probably be really greedy of her, but she was starving. A desert, that also sounded go- ... BLINK BLINK. Person. There was a person?
You had to be kidding.
Hadn't she done enough socializing for one day? Kaitlyn plastered a smile on her face and looked up at the girl. Something about her seemed familiar, had she also been at Hogwarts at the same time as her? Perhaps. "Um, sure you can," Kat allowed and nodded towards the empty seat beside her. Time to be social, yeah?

'Yeah, neither have I. I've got to wear a dress.' She rolled her eyes. Jeans were the way to go, mostly because they meant she wasn't anywhere full of boring people at one of her uncle's parties. [b]'They're just really boring usually.'[b/] Emilie nodded and hung back in her seat.
Emilie raised an eyebrow, 'why would you go to Durmstrang then..?' Not that that was a bad thing, it was Durmstrang after all. Durmstrang would beat Hogwarts any day, even without weekends like this. Her own dad had gone here too, but she'd be a fool to follow in his footsteps. 'I've just heard about the plant that ate a professor. Something like that anyway.'
Emilie nodded, nerves seemed to have taken care of her appetite, even if she felt somewhat better now. Some hot cocoa would help. 'Yeah.. that's fine.'

Ethan took another bite of his mac and cheese, then nodded happily at Minerva's words. "Not a problem.. I was starving, figured you would be hungry too." Yeah, their food wasn't bad here..
Mirroring her actions, Ethan took his own sip of cocoa, then nodded again. "I don't know what it is about this year.. I really thought it would be easier this term without OWLs, but I'm having a hard time keeping up for some reason.." He gave her a concerned look. "How are you doing?" It was still his intention to help her with her exam studying, but she hadn't seemed to need his help yet.
A couple more bites of mac and cheese.. Ethan didn't really know many graduated students and those he did know, he hadn't run into again. But he gave her a crooked grin at her last words. "Yeah, I really wish I wasn't so busy sometimes.. Milton really works us over for Quidditch.." And classes seemed more involved this year.. or something like that. "But yeah.. this is really nice.. and Christmas break is really soon too." Grin.

"I assure you that there's nothing to tell," Vivi insisted, but her flaming cheeks sort of proved that she was lying. Horribly, too. Vivi Branxton was a terrible liar. "BUT ANYWAY..."
What was the next question? Oh yes, Handsome Neighbor. He might be dull and stupid and smelly, although she doubted those things, but he was very pleasant to look at, and Vivi intended to have as many stories as possible by the time Selina moved into the flat. "Of course, I'll get as much information as I can, but... within reason. I'm dating someone."
How stupidly wonderful did it make Vivi feel to be able to say that? "I'm all moved in, anyway, even if I'm not done unpacking. You should come stay for a while over Christmas and help me figure out some decorating and things. We can buy living room furniture. I'll buy take out and we'll stay up late and be ridiculous."

"Dresses can be really inconvenient I've been told." Or extremely convenient, he found from experience. It all depended. Levi did like a girl in a dress though. They looked good in them. He nodded his head along and rocked the chair again. Fancy places were boring, and that's why he tended not to frequent them.
Wasn't it obvious why Durmstrang? "It's better, duh." He gave her a lopsided grin. [b]"And all my brothers went here, so I guess you can say I followed in their footsteps. "I read that too. They have too much drama there if you ask me. Most of the stuff my Dad tells me is from his school days though. The rest I read." Pushing off the chair, he shoved his hands into his pockets then turned on his heels, and headed off to the counter to order. "One cocoa, be back in a sec."
Or a few minutes.
It took a moment for him to get past the Hogwarts kids, and get her drink and his 'snack', but when he did finally get them, he headed back to the table and placed the drink in front of her. "I heard the candy store here has a good supply from one of the kids up there. We should raid that place next." After his pizza and hot butterbeer. He was gonna start on that now.

♡ A heart full of Love l ☾ A night bright as Day l
The entire time of this tour that Violet was giving her charming beau Phillip, she couldn't help but feel like she was just rambling about some nonsense. Especially when she had spoken to him about Madame Pudifoots and how amazing their store was with all of its' different kinds of tea and how adorable the design of the cute tea shop was, for a good 10 minutes. And it was when she was about to mention the sweets, that Violet had decided to stop herself. Just the thought of how annoying she must have been just then made Violet blush a little bit.
Then they had arrived at their first stop: The Three Broomsticks.
Violet opened the door to well-known pub walking inside, still holding Phillip's hand the whole time. She took a look around for an open table and then looked at Phillip smiling at him. Violet then had spotted an open booth and began leading him once more. On their way towards the booth, Violet took a quick moment to look around the pub once more recognizing other students from school as usual who also loved coming to the Three Broomsticks like she did. Once arriving at their booth, Violet instantly slid into the cozy booth and then looked up at Phillip waiting patiently for him to sit down with her. She then asked curiously,"So aside from my embarrassing rambling so far, does this look a little familiar to you at all?"
Peyton beamed and clapped her hands. "I would like vanilla-raspberry, pleeease!" And she wanted two scoops. Wait, scratch that. She wanted THREE scoops, he should know that.
Oh, now he was talking about her birthday. "Yes. Are you getting me something? If yes, I like pink, green - not the neon green, but dark green like Slytherin. I also accept sweets and Quidditch stuff." She paused and took her coat off.
"Before we get talking about presents though, you should get our food first," she said politely, yet still bossy. But it was for a good reason. She didn't want any interruptions.
And she really wanted ice cream. :3
Seth nodded and did as he was told.
......
After returning and placing the yummy merchandise on the table he smiled and slightly bit his lip.
Well Captain Genius, I did get you a little something." he genuinely smiled and reached into his pocket. It wasn't a huge present, but he had put so much thought into it. "Happy Birthday, Peyton Ximoara Baltazar." he smiled and handed her a green box.
Inside the box it contained what seemed like a silver Slytherin book, which once you opened it it was a music box, with a little red-headed girl on a broom. The soft melody was a piece of a song that came from the locket that belonged to the princess of the moon, from what he remembered was Peyton's favorite show, Sailor Moon.
Well, looky there.... Vivi was blushing. Heh. It seemed that her blonde best friend was a fibber. That was okay. Vivi didn't HAVE to tell Selina if she didn't want to. The seventh year didn't want to cross any lines and make her friend uncomfortable. Nope. Instead, she would just go and visit the flat over holiday and knock on Vickers door and ask HIM questions. That way Vivi didn't have to feel weird about it.
Within reason? Ugh, Vivi was being all righteous and awesome. Why was she so good at the awesome thing? It made Selina want to poke her sometimes. All Selina wanted to know was how much of this guy's body mass was muscle. Was that SO weird? Eh, probably. Whatever, she was weird. The seventh year dealt with it. Sighing, she said, "Fine... I understand. I don't want you to have to make your, ahem, BOYFRIEND," cheeky grin there, "uncomfortable." Not at all.
She ACTUALLY beamed when Vivi spoke more about their flat. It made Selina feel so mature and grown up that they were talking about their place and getting stuff for their place and living at their place. It was THEIRS, like all theirs. The flat, which was no doubt going to be the coolest place in the world because they were going to decorate it, was going to be their home. "I can't wait. It's going to be the best!" And candy of course would be in attendance.
After returning and placing the yummy merchandise on the table he smiled and slightly bit his lip.

Seth felt his cheeks burn as well as his ears.
ICE CREAM!
Peyton bounced in her seat and took the bowl from him. "Thank youuu!" Bossy, but with manners, that's how Baltazar's did it. BEAM.
She ate several spoonfuls of ice cream before looking up at Seth. Oh! He got her something-- "Ugh! Brain-freeze!" she squeaked, rubbing her temples furiously as if that would warm up her brain. After it was over she looked back up at him. He said her entire name! Woah! She only got called that when she was in trouble, but she doubted that's what it meant now.
"Thanks," she said, a bit apprehensively, but with a grin. Seth wasn't the nice type, that was stated ever since they met each other, but here he was...being nice. She took the box and shook it next to her ear. It wasn't explosives, right?
Slowly, she unwrapped it and looked up at him. "A book..?" Really, Seth. This girl didn't like reading unless it was Quidditch magazines. She opened it, but...
Oh...
OH! It wasn't a book! And it had a little redhead in there ON A BROOM and...was that the locket melody? It WAS!
THIS WAS THE BEST PRESENT EVER!
"Oh my Merlin!" she squealed, got out of her seat and hugged Seth. "It's AWESOME!" And she kissed his cheek. Wait......she hadn't meant to do that. She was just so caught up in the moment and...yeah. With unnoticed flushing cheeks, Peyton went back to her seat and opened the music box. "Thank you," she smiled.

Seth chuckled "next time you should try pressing your finger on the roof of your mouth, so I can cool down your brain freeze." it really worked! Seth's deceased mother taught him that.
He side smiled when she was believing that it was simply a book. "Maybe it's time to hit the books?" he teased, but maybe if she stats to actually read she won't need so much help on her homework.
WHAT?!
Seth's face was flushed! He's never been kissed by a girl before!! On the lips or on the cheek! He hugged her back and awkwardly pulled away."Uh....you're welcome." he nodded. Seth got on the wrong foot when he first met Peyton, but then again he was under control of his malicious father and simply wanted to avenge his mother. But all in all Seth was lonely and Peyton was the first person to gain his trust. He found comfort in her even though she could be slightly annoying.
He gently touched his cheek and grinned. His face looked like a tomato!

Peyton blinked at Seth's suggestion. "That's weird," she shrugged and kept eating her ice cream, but very deep down, Peyton was already planning to try it next time had a brain-freeze.
"You're funny. I only "hit the books" when I run out of bludgers to hit," she said, scooping up more ice cream and eating it in one bite. Yuuuum. Raspberry vanilla, her favorite. She could eat it forever.
Ah, great! He was red. Why was Seth's face red?!
It only made her slip feel awkward. Why? She didn't even know the answer to that. So, she just kept eating her ice cream as if that would somehow fix things. When she was done she pushed the bowl away and hugged her music box. Now she was curious about something. Meh. She figured Seth should know about it and maybe even be experienced on it, so she'd start by asking.
"Seth, what's it like to kiss someone?" Curiosity killed the cat. Good thing she's a Baltazar.

Seth chuckled at Peyton taking things so literal. "Thats not what I meant, but good to know." he chuckled once again.
O_O
Seth choked on his own saliva "I-I wouldn't know? I've never kissed anyone." his ears turned red once again.
Yes as hard as it was to believe, Seth has NEVER had a girlfriend or kissed anyone not to mention being kissed.
His forehead wrinkled as he felt like nervously giggling.
