 Located off to the right of the Observatory and behind a large wooden door lies a room made possible by means of a powerful Undetectable Extension Charm. Professor Flamsteed will hold the occasional lesson, present an educational and entertaining show about astronomy and the night sky, or a training session in celestial navigation here, but it is also available to students to use at their own leisure for research or entertainment purposes. Professor Flamsteed just has a few guidelines for use of the planetarium:- ABSOLUTELY no food or drink
- be respectful of the equipment
- NO SNOGGING

West, noting the rules on the door, waited outside and polished off a filled roll before finally going into the planetarium. He hadn't brought a Bliss, so no worries about breaking that other rule. He had intentions to go talk to the professor but when he'd walked by the door was closed and West would rather do something to entertain himself while waiting.
And he hadn't checked the planetarium out yet so here he was.
He started walking around, looking at everything, but not touching since he had no idea how the equipment worked.
... so how did it work?

Deciding to do his routine clean of the planetarium a bit early, Airey suited up and headed towards the room when he noticed a certain young Slytherin present.
"Mr. Odessa, hello," he greeted while removing a lint roller from his breast pocket. For the chairs you see. "You just need to push the on button there," he said, indicating the bright red button. "But it won't do you any good unless you use the dial on the side there to set the date and time you wish to see the stars of."

"Of course," he chuckled before administering his lint roller to a nearby chair. Sweet solstice look at all the lint and dirt he was getting off already! Removing the first sticky sheet and banishing it with his wand, his attention was caught by the boy's movement.
Hmmm...interesting.
"Looking to do a bit of Galileo Galilei role play, or do you just have an interest in Jupiter, Mr. Odessa?" he asked nonchalantly before beginning to lint roll the same chair some more.

And West was loooooooooooooking. It was interesting stuff. Io....Europa...Ganymede...Callisto... he could name them. It was kind of nuts that they were discovered when people didn't even have all that good stuff for viewing space. "How do you Galileo Galilei role play?" He asked, tipping his head back and watching the display. "The Cosmica Sidera are way cool."
... there was something he wanted to talk to Flammy about, but it had slipped his mind....

Cue an eyebrow raise. Testing the professor? What an interesting idea. Frightening. But interesting. Airey thought that he very much would like to spend the day in Mr. Odessa's head just to see what all went on in there.
And did he test other professors in the same manner? Something he ought to ask everyone over tea in the staff room perhaps.
"Did I pass?" he asked with a small smirk while he continued to lint roll away. "I thought perhaps you were trying to spot the same three 'star' alignment that Galileo witnessed," he said - using air quotes around the term star for obvious reasons. He himself paused for a moment to look up at the star display, but didn't linger too long since he still had some lint rolling to attend to.
"Let me know if you need anything then, will you?" he said. Best not distrupt the boy while he was looking around, yes? Airey liked to be alone when he was looking at the stars. Made him feel at peace.

But really he was just mucking about and wanted distractions and to check things out and it was the first date that popped in his head. "Oh, there was something actually. I had a thought when I read Hogwarts: A History." Nod. "There was some other Astronomy Professor what died too, what got murdered. And I thought it would be nice to add that one to the memorial in the Tower Patch."

It said summer 2069.There used to be one here, apparently, but I guess someone moved it or something." He didn't know a heap more than that aside from it being murder. "Wasn't Headmistress Truebridge working here back then as well?" Maybe she knew stuff what would be good on a memorial thing? "He was Slytherin's Head of House too it said." Which was another reason West thought it a good idea to remedy the situation.

2069. Hmmm. That was a year after he had finished his studies in Edinburgh, so it was no wonder he hadn't heard about this. He HAD sort of disconnected himself from the wizarding world after graduation since he attended muggle graduate school afterwards.
"Head of Slytherin house too?" Well, that explained Mr. Odessa's interest a bit more then. "Nothing in your common room either I presume. Well then, if there once was something in this man's memory then we shall just have to remedy this and put something back in." Airey decided to pocket his lint roller for the time being. he could get back to his routine cleaning later. "Mr. Odessa, would you like to go ask the Headmistress for any words to put on this plaque? She gave me the ones for the late Professor Burbage."

Airey simply nodded his head as Mr. Odessa gave a little more information - nothing that triggered his memory, but it did interest him a bit to hear that the gentleman had also worked for NASA. Not that their paths had ever crossed.
The professor shook his head. "I don't think she would mind at all. It is about a colleague after all." Not to mention it shouldn't take more than two shakes of a crup's tail. Assuming the crup still had it's tail that is. "I'll prepare a plaque in my office and meet you at the Tower Patch later today. Say around 1500 hours?"
That would also give him time to do some more lint rolling because that one chair over there was going to drive him nuts.
