| | |  The office of Professor Sophia Bellaire
Before you enter there is a mat on the outside of the door. Please wipe your feet before entering, because trudging any dirt into the professor's office will result in you getting a proper telling off. Upon entering it's hard to miss the fact that her office is extremely clean almost unnaturally so. There is not a speck of dust on the well polished furniture and every book, quill and parchment paper is lined or packed away perfectly.
The professor is usually seated in front of her when in office or on one the soft plushy couches in the office. Please be sure that your uniform is well kept and your hair looking presentable before entering or you'll be sent back to get decent before being able to address the professor. ooc: Please wait to be invited in and do not just barge into the office. If you do, your post will be deleted. There is a waiting area outside, post there and wait to be invited in. | |

With his new book stuck under his arm Leobald headed up to the third floor to see his friend. The seating at the feast hadn't enabled a closer conversation with Sophia then a waved hello. Knocking on the office door he waited for Sophia to open, but as the minutes passed without any movement coming from within he tried turning the door knob.
The door opened, so he headed inside the office and took a seat in one of the softy plushy couches while he waited for Sophia to show up.

After the feast Sophia had done a bit of detouring here and there so she could walk off some of the food before just going to sit again after such a big bigger. One had to be very careful when living at Hogwarts because it was very easy to over indulge. It was a good thing they couldn't apparate in and out of the castle.
Her waistline was the most grateful.
She opened her office door to see Leobald already there. Shutting the door behind her, she smiled at him and took her seat.
"I hope you weren't waiting long Leo, I went for a little walk around the grounds."

The minutes passed as Leo sat in Sophia's office. He was comfortable and had a book to check out so he was fine with waiting. Hopefully by the time he got back to the library Madonna and Bianca hadn't clawed up some books or shelves when he wasn't there. Having pets again took some getting used to and adjusting both for him and his new family members.
Hearing the door open Leo looked up and smiled at Sophia as she walked in. "No, I haven't waited long. I just got here a few minutes ago." Placing the book down in his lap, as she sat down in her seat, he said. "You look happy and radiant tonight. Did you have a good break?"

As soon as Sophia got settled around her desk she began straightening the beaming photos there and stacking her lesson plans. All ready for the lessons this year. She was actually looking forward to them more than she had previous years.
"Oh good, I really hate having people wait on me." She pushed the tin with coconut drops forward to Leo. She was sure he'd never tasted them before because as far as she knew they only made them in Jamaica.
"Thank you Leo and yep, it was brilliant what about you?"

When she pushed the tin of drops towards him Leo immediately picked one up and plucked it into his mouth. Tasting the drop he asked after a moment. "Coconut flavoured, right? They are delicious. Where did you buy them?" "My summer was great. Got to spend time with some old mates and just relax. The fire at the end of term had really zapped my energy so it was nice to recharge my batteries together with my mates."

Alyssa quickly stepped into the office and greeted Professor Bellaire. "Good morning Professor. I'm sorry for interrupting you. Thank you for seeing me."
Alyssa took a quick glance around the Charms Professor's office before she addressed her request to Professor Bellaire. "Professor Hadley suggested that I speak with you. I was wondering whether it would be possible for you to assist me to improve my Charms grades with some private lessons...or whatever you have time for." Alyssa quickly added.

Professor Bellaire retook her seat behind her desk and eyed the girl. She nodded her head slowly at her. She wasn't that busy so seeing her wasn't much of a problem.
"I thought that's what the charms club was for Miss Potter. But.." She intertwined her fingers and looked Alyssa..."If you think you're that bad in charms I'll see about arranging some remedial charms lessons for you."

I got an Acceptable for my OWLs but I was told that I need to get an Outstanding in my NEWTs to be even considered for Auror training. So if you think that attending remedial charms will help improve my grades, I'm willing to try it." Alyssa told her Charms Professor.

Hmmm Sophia got up from her chair and paced just a little bit before she replied to the young woman standing in front of her. She wanted to become an auror did she?
"Well Miss Potter. An acceptable shows that you're performing as an average student in Charms and a little extra work could bring your grades up without you having to take remedial charms." But Really Sophia didn't think she needed it.
"Here's what we'll do, I'll see how you score on your next assignment and we'll take it from there. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Then she realized that she had made the worst mistake EVER!! She blushed beet red.
" I'm sorry Professor. I made a mistake with my OWL grades. I got an Exceeds Expectations. But I know that I still need to get that grade up or I could slip down to just an Acceptable. However, I will still do what you suggest. Wait until after our next Charms class assignment." Alyssa told her.
