This was the one Aoife wanted more than anything. The gorgeous necklace was calling to her, she just knew it. However as she walked up to the table, she had sudden misgivings. Was this right? Shouldn't she be saving her great-aunt's fortune for, I don't know, bills? Family, when she eventually gave in and settled down? She quickly dispelled them. She had bought an apartment, hadn't she? She'd been nothing but conservative since coming into her considerable fortune and now she deserved some little present for it. Especially since her 25th birthday was fast approaching.
Before her traitorous mind could change again she grabbed a piece of parchment and wrote the details on it.

Aoife saw a woman at the table the gorgeous necklace was on. She narrowed her eyes, her irrational competitive streak coming out as the woman placed her bid and moved away. Right then, looks like she'd have to raise her bid if she wanted to keep that beautiful necklace. Quote:

Well whoever was bidding against her had wonderful taste in jewellery, especially as it matched Aoife's. She look a sneak peek at the last person's bidding paper as she wrote out her own. Raelynn Spencer. Very nice name, as unusual as Aoife's. Aoife considered all unusual names to be good ones since she had been forced to hear 'what a weird name' every time anyone asked hers at Hogwarts.
