Ravenclaw Study Tables

On each side of the entrance to the Ravenclaw Common Room, you can find study tables. These tables are set up for a place for you to study, read, do homework, or just play games with fellow housemates.

In the Study Table area, you will find all the tools you need to complete your homework from extra parchment and quills to books to old notes from former students. Remember that help is always given at Hogwarts, you just need to ask a fellow student or a professor for more help.

Feel free to grab a game from the bottom shelf of the bookshelves surrounding the tables and start up a game with some friends, just remember to not get too loud to disturb your fellow Ravenclaws that might be working on Homework.

Taylor sat down at one of the study tables at the entrance of the Ravenclaw commom room. Yeah, it was a bit early to already have homework but she cracked open a book with a quill and a notebook. Tay wanted to be extra prepared for the OWLs she would have to take at the end of this term. Taylor was trying to avoid Damon, Max and Harvey for a few days so she decided to study. Tay already did her yoga this morning so she was still in her sweatpants and tank top since she didnt have a class for a little bit. She debated about whether or not to go down to a place where it was bigger to practice dancing so that she wouldnt get rusty when she goes back to her dance school for the summer since she taught a class or two during the summer vacation in addition to going to France and other countries with her family. Tay pulled up her legs and sat cross-legged on the chair since she thought it was more comfy that way. She wasnt usually talkative... mainly because she was shy but she loved to talk to her friends and family. Taylor always had a beaming smile on her face... at least 99% of the time but she also could be having a bad day but right now, she was beaming in happiness.

Presley was wearig shorts. She recognized that it was early April, and still pretty chilly outside, but she was of the opinion that the more she wore shorts, the more nature would be convinced to warm up a little for her. She stepped into the study area, fully intending to work on Charms, but someone was already in there.

Taylor was a year younger than Presley, but what did that really matter? She seized on the opportunity and sat down right next to the girl. "Taylor, hey. Can I talk to you?" It was odd, because they weren't really friends, but with Elliot MIA, Presley really needed someone to talk to.

At that she shut her book, after marking her spot, and slid it away a little before turning to look at the girl. She had seen her around Elliot... argh, Elliot... Her smile faltered at that name but she smiled again.

"I know you're younger than me, so this is a little weird," Presley started right in. "But I need guy advice." So I'm wondering if I should go talk to him, or wait for him to talk to me, I have no idea."

Taylor raised an eyebrow, "You are asking me, a younger girl AND one you barely know for advice... dating advice?" She sighed and shook her head before looking at Presley again, "You should just go talk to him. I mean, what is the worst that could happen?" She shrugged, "I dont like Milton but to each their own, I guess." She sighed and ran a hand through her blonde curls, "Anything else ya need help with?"

Presley shrugged. "Like you said, I barely know you. That means that your opinions can't hurt me." That was the best part about talking to strangers. She nodded slowly. "I just don't want him to think I'm some kind of stalker, you know?" She didn't like Milton? Who wouldn't like him? He was carefree, and funny, and gorgeous, and different. Whatever. Maybe she was just tasteless. Presley stood back up and picked up her books. "Nope, that's it. If you need help with anything, let me know." Presley told the girl honestly. She had to go talk to Milton, and that was the end of it.
