Time to face the ultimate truth. "Basically, the plant would've eaten you if others weren't around to save you." Though she was failing to see the point in saving him, quite frankly. "We're only looking out for you." Cue sweet smile. Also, he might get picked on a lot if he got to stay, but they're not mentioning that, right?
Right. Not everyone was a Gryffindor. That got an eyebrow raise from this Hogwartian.
Still. Smile!

Milton immediately wrapped his arms around his best friend as she crashed into him and he sort of helped her onto the bench so it wasn't such an awkward hug position. He hugged her tight for several quiet moments before finally saying something. "I'm not dying, you know," he said lightly. And he wasn't even going to play quidditch, so his chance of dying anytime soon was a little lower than usual.
Derp. Another nudge to the ribs. Why did people like doing that? "I'm sorry, did you actually say something nice to me? Or are we joking again?" Milton was teeeasing, of course. He and Addy had a quite teasing friendship anyways and he enjoyed poking fun at her.
"I will miss you too, I have to admit. I won't have anyone to talk my ear off when I don't want them to anymore, so, that's something." He gave her a cheeky grin. Heh.
Text Cut: Lex and Lottie lolol
This was... a lot to take in all at once.
Milton watched the two of them and listened attentively, making sure he didn't miss a word they said. It was all very interesting to hear, too. He found it amusing that they were convinced Milton was really too dumb to graduate, and that he had cheated the system. Or just got lucky. To be honest, he was a little perplexed by that, too.
As they rambled on, Milton's arms folded over his chest and leaned against the table. Apparently, he should stay behind at Hogwarts forever because he was too dumb to survive in the real world and the only people that would save his butt were in this castle.
And, of course, Lottie brought up the plant. Milton tried not to roll his eyes. IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ANYONE, YOU KNOW. But of course, they were only looking out for him. Snort.
Once they seemed to be done talking, Milton nodded veeery slowly, trying to form his thoughts into words.
"Well, first of all, I'm flattered that you want me to stick around forever." That was saying something with these two girls. "I'm also insulted and rather impressed that you managed to call me an idiot ten times without actually calling me an idiot, so good job there." Look at them, being all Ravenclaw-like and stuff.
Then a little smirk grew on Milton's face. "If I didn't know you two any better, I'd say you just want me to stick around because you liiiiiike meeeee." Yeah? Come on, he had to have grown on them. He was amazing, after all.
Milton snorted. "Aww, come on. Just my shiny head? What about my... plump lips?" Milton smirked and wiggled his eyebrows before making kissy faces at Beezus. Heh heh heh. She couldn't deny, they were fabulous.
Milton shrugged and waved it off. "No problem, man. You thinking about playing after Hogwarts?" He could probably get some good post-Hogwarts training and manage to go pro. He was his best chaser, after all.
"I'll be working at my dad's pub for a while until I figure out what I want to do. Just kind of rolling with the punches, taking whatever life gives me, doing whatever I want." And that was perfectly okay with him.
Oh, she noticed. Milton was pretty sure it was obvious, though. "I am happy. Aren't you?" Because it was SUMMER time. And then adult life time, and Milton was finally free.
While he was talking with the other, Milton spotted his little beater buddy occasionally looking at him. Finally, Milton just nodded to him. "Hey, Mo. You ready for summer?" AKA, did he want to say something? because he really looked like it.
That was actually an inspired idea and Milton should have considered it. Staying forever wouldn't have been so bad. What were the odds of another man eating plant showing up here? See that Milton? Perfectly much more safe than stepping out into the real world and being eaten by a dragon...not even a Gryffindor would save him then.
Uh-huh and Lottie directly brought up the plant. It was one of there strongest points in this arguments you know. It took everything in her to not sigh at the memory. Bloody plant took it's time. What ever happened to not playing with your food? But that wasn't the point now was it? No. The point was that they all saved him and that if they'd all decided to sit around one large fireplace and drink hot chocolate while he was screaming down in the greenhouse then he wouldn't be here now. People in the big world preferred hot chocolate to daring feats of blatant stupidity for people they don't like. Think about that.
She kept her expression nice and pleasant as he took a moment to organize his thoughts. It was a lot, but it was important and needed to be said. Once he started talking they'd know if he understood.
...
Lex beamed at him. Heh, he'd noticed the oh so subtle insults. Good on him. She could almost pat him on the back for it...but she didn't because of the next thing he said.
Blink. Blink. MERLIN!
She took a step forward, closing the distance between them both then tapped his head a few times with her knuckles and her own head leaned in close enough to listen. After a few taps she looked to Lottie. "It sounds hollow. There couldn't have been much blocking the information from getting in; how in Merlin's beard did he misunderstand everything we just said." This was serious Lottie! He was even worse than they thought!! Don't graduate Milton, you'll never survive!!

Oh, Captain Sir Milton! Mo scooted down a bit and gave Milton a very somber look. Still no food, which... was obviously the fault of all the seventh years taking so long to sign that stupid big book. Maybe Mo should ask Milton to hurry all that up??
"I am, actually. My sister says she's going to whip me into shape to be the best Beater Ravenclaw has ever seen. And I suppose..." He shuffled around a bit before making an even more (somehow) somber expression. "I suppose I'll miss you and stuff. You were a good captain. Thanks for putting me on the team. Sorry I threatened to hit you."

Perhaps he wasn't such an idiot, because...unlike Aidan, he actually noticed when he was being insulted. Kudos for that, Milton! Also, "That's the nicest thing you've ever said," because she took the idiot part as a compliment. It wasn't easy to select synonyms for such an obvious word, or to say things as delicately as possible while having a very civil conversation.
So, yes, thank you. A hair flip would've happened if she didn't feel his compliment will lead them nowhere. He was still considered dumb.
AND NO.
Ughhhh. He was impossible! He was gonna get run over by the train, you'll see! So, yes, she did roll her eyes at his last comment (even if maybe she did like him a liiittle bit, maybe, we're not sure). Eyes on Lex now. "Do you reckon whatever was left of his ability to understand us actually left with his hair?" Lottie was only, very seriously, discussing this matter with Lex, right in front of Milton. Like he would understand them, right? HAHA.
But back to Milton, "You do know us, though, which is why you know we're not even joking about this." The smile was gone. Maybe smiling too much made him believe that.
"You'll keep Oakey company, when he stays after next term, too." Oakey. Sigh. Now, THAT was a Hufflepuff she wanted to keep, because he made smoothies.

WHY was he setting her down on the bench? That is not where she belonged. She was seated safely for not even half a second, when she climbed back onto him continuing her grip.
That's right, Milton was not getting out of the Gryffindor's grip. And she was not sorry about this.
She sniffled softly for several seconds. Try as she might, she was unable to string together any words to document her current feelings. But she should at least try, right? It was weird for her to just... cling to him, right?
Maybe?
Oh. And he was talking. She choked out a small laugh. "Butyouareleaving. AndI'mgoingtomissyou"

"Nah, I think you passed.[/b]" She told her fellow housemate and Quidditch player with a shrug. Because he hadn't splinched and really, Ethan was one kind of person who always gave in his best efforts so Beezus was sure he was soon getting his license.
"Ugh. I kind of envy you." Chuckle. "Being that you're of legal age already." But she was sixteen, a few more months and she too would be of age. A little more waiting wouldn't hurt.

Erm.
Mental facepalm.
So, Beezus was sort of feeling hungry now and it was probably showing on her face. Turning to her fellow Ravenclaw, the Prefect smiled thriftily at Gwen. "Hey. Oh, I'm good. Just hungry. And you?" If she was sharing the same dilemma then Beezus was staying right beside her. She needed someone who also felt the pain!
But seriously, can they get on with the speech already?

If it were someone else doing those kind of kissy faces at her, Beezus would've probably gone and smacked that person in the face but not Milton because....stuffs happened and yeah. She was even laughing at him, and grinning mischievously. "Okay, okay. Maybe....I'll miss your lips an eenie teeny tiny bit." And then she punched him gently on the arm, "You gotta miss me too." Uh huh. He so should.

Is he coming to Hogwarts soon?"
Ethan grinned a little at Belle's words. He hadn't really realized that she had a little crush on him.. though that was interesting, he thought. "Well, you are right about that.. I think we are inseparable. I can't imagine being without her." But he knew Belle would find someone for her too.
Watching Minerva's smile grow, Ethan matched it with a grin of his own. This challenge was going to be fun, even more so since she didn't seem to believe that he could handle it. "Two weeks?" The 17 year old's face donned a surprised expression at this news. "It's gonna be that intense, huh? No, I think it will be fine.. though I do think maybe we need to up the stakes if the challenge is going to be twice as long," he added with an amused smirk. And if it was twice as long, he was secretly worried that it would be twice as hard as well.
He gave her a nod and a small smile as she spoke of the departing seventh years. "Yeah, I guess I'm a little sad about some of them leaving too.." Especially Belle, she was one of his closer friends. "But good friends like that.. we'll see them still, we'll make a point to over summer." No, friends like that were never completely out of a person's life, though sometimes you just had to make more of an effort to keep in touch.
Ethan tilted his head slightly and thought about Milton's words. That wasn't something he had really given much thought. "Oh, I don't know.. not really sure what I want to do yet, but I think I'm leaning a certain way. Still have a bit of time yet, right?" Still another year before he really had to decide, though he figured after summer he really should be thinking seriously.. but after a bit of fun first.
He nodded as the Captain continued. "Ah.. that's nice that you can work for your dad." His own worked for the French Ministry so it wasn't like he could join the family business while he figured things out. "That's a good attitude to have," he grinned. More people could stand to be as flexible. "Good luck to you.."
Intense?! Well she didn't know whether she would say intense was the right word, "I'm not going to make you work to hard don't worry, but two weeks will give us enough time to see everything I want you to see and do." She smiled, knowing she had been making some plans for a few little trips. Up the stakes to this Minerva chuckled, "I didn't know we came to terms with the stakes before to up them. We need to figure out what these are going to be though, it will make it more fun." Yes, she was going to really enjoy this, she wasn't sure why, but felt it was going to be a great experience.
Minerva couldn't help but look at the table when he talked about people leaving, she had never been comfortable with the leaving part. She had to many mixed feelings with that. "Yeah, summer we will." She looked at him and tried to smile, but she knew the truth in most cases, people move on, they forget to Owl, and then you don't talk anymore. Shaking it out of her head a bit she turned to him, "That reminds me Belle is going to meet up with us in the States." Yes, she had asked Belle to help her think of a few things for the challenge, so of course she was going to want Belle to see.
Aurora "Orr" Opal headed to her house table for the end of the year feast. Third year had sped by completely and she couldn't believe that she had spent three years at Hogwarts already.
She sat down and started to pile her plate with food.
Mika couldn’t help but notice the quiet girl she had briefly spotted during the Ravenclaw party at the beginning of the term. So she just smiled, waved, dig some off wiggly-wobbly-wavy-thingies and thrust a box filled with cookies at the girl. Seriously.
Cookie up. It was time.
”Aurora right?” she asked with a bright eyed smile, ”I don’t know if I really introduced myself before…I’m Amelia but everyone calls me Mika” she smiled brightly.
”Any plans for summer?” she asked as she scanned the table for more faces – really she was mainly shooting glances at a certain curly brown-haired boy a few tables away…at a table decorated with yellow and black and that seemed to be cheering really rather loudly as they had just won the house cup and the Quidditch cup. But she really could have been looking anywhere or at anyone.
She wasn’t blatantly staring and eyeing a friend of hers. Nope. Because that was creepy.

Sigh. They didn't even look ready to give a speech.
"Who says I'm sad?" One corner of her lips twitched upwards into a small smile for Blue, and she sat up to look at the girl properly. She played with the ends of her hair and cocked her head to the side thoughtfully. "I'm not not excited about attending the ENTIRE feast. Did you check under all the beds? That kneazle could have hid it from you." The one that used to sleep on Dora's bed until she fixed the problem. Ahem. "Want some help finding it?"
The brunette could do with stretching of her legs, and visiting other tables. A proper smile stretched across her face when she finally spotted Theo, the urge to venture over growing even stronger.
But she would stay at this table a liiiiitle bit longer to finish talking with these friends. Who were ironically Slytherins as well. "Long time no see." Really, where had SHE been, hmmm? Dora smiled all the same, not acknowledging her friends hinting tone of voice. "Things are good." Did she know things yet? She had to if she lived in the dungeons, but just in case... "Theo and I are all proper now." Now she knew, or would figure it out. Dora glanced over at Alexa and waved before letting her eyes drift around again, this time looking for her favorite Gryffindor.
When Dora asked her what flavors the cookies were she just smiled, and shrugged. ”There’s chocolate chip, sugar cookies, ginger snaps…and even some jammy dodgers” she smiled as she said the last one. It wasn’t obvious what she was thinking about unless you saw her birthday cake those months before.
Jammy dodgers and tardis cakes went well together.
”Mum sent them to me…” Sure she had thought about transfiguring the box into a tardis box but she hadn’t had the time. Seriously. It was the end of term feast. She needed to squish and hug all of her friends before time ran out.
When Theo walked up to speak with Blue, Cassia, and Dora she of course sent him a smile and lifted the cookie-tin toward the Slytherin boy. It was the least she could do – because he was here. The cookies were here. And she was just nice like that.

Erm.
Mental facepalm.
Aaaand there was someone cheerful!
GRIN.
‘Hi!’, Gwen replied, happy to see her friend again. ‘Umm… good, I guess’ Because she hadn't had OWLs or NEWTs to worry about this year. And she hoped that the feast wouldn’t change her good mood. Though… she was sad that so many people were leaving again. Sigh. ‘Yes, I am. I think I’ll be going to France, but I don’t have any other plans yet. How about you?’ Gwendolyn was curious to find out if Cassia was doing anything interesting this summer. But anyway- she really hoped that the two of them could meet over the summer.
Gwendolyn glimpsed at the Gryffindor table, trying to decide if she should go now over there, or wait a few more minutes. Hmm. More Ravenclaws started to come at the table, and the place was getting crowded. Erm. Better wait a few more minutes. So Gwen drew her attention back to her housemates, managing to spot a few more familiar figures.
Hmmm. She knew the girl who had just arrived at the table… Elise, was it? Anyway, Gwen decided it was just nice to at least greet the other Ravenclaw. ‘Hi’, she said with a small smirk.
‘You seem very happy’, the sixth year pointed out. It wasn’t meant to be rude. On the contrary, she thought it was great to see someone not upset in the room. Well… nearly all the students (including her) were sad because the seventh years were leaving so yeah.
‘I see’, Gwendolyn said simply, after she listened to the other girl talk. Uh. Any plans yet? ‘I’m not sure’, the sixth year mused. Her plans for the summer were complicated. She just HAD to see her best friend, though she had no idea when that would be… but anyway- Gwen was determined to spend a good part of her summer holiday with Ari, whether the Gryffindor was in France or not. Mhm. ‘I may be going to France’, she eventually added. She was definitely looking forward to that. Her thoughts were soon interrupted by something Mika said.
Cookies?‘Thanks’, she said with a smirk and took one of the cookies. This made her miss Kurumi. Err- anyway. ‘Did you make these?’, the Ravenclaw asked. She was really impressed by anyone who could make even just tea. Because she couldn’t cook even if her life depended on it. Mehhh.
When Gwen as Mika preferred to refer to her – at least, to herself that is, asked if she made the cookies she just snorted a bit. ”No I tried to – but I’m not like Kurumi…I can’t bake cookies if I tried. I ended up getting flour all over myself and the other day if I shook my head a shroud of white stuff would suddenly be there…im sure there still is some flour stuck somewhere.” Yeah it was probably in her nose.
”Oooh France that sounds fun. Any idea where in yet?” she asked even though she was still distractedly thinking back on her friend and the friends at the Hufflepuff table. She had to go and see them soon. Otherwise she’d forget and be all sad and that wouldn’t be good. She wanted to hug her friends HARD this time before leaving.
”I might be going to New York City for a bit…and back to Melbourne to visit my gran before moving permanently to the UK – dad just got a place outside of Ambelside.” She smiled brightly.
It was a nice place and well, it wasn’t on an opposite weather pattern which would be a relief. She rather didn’t like going from winter to summer to summer to winter. It was confusing.
She glanced up as she heard Mo speaking and gave him a smile. "Hey Branxton you want a cookie?" She asked using part of his actual name rather than calling him Macabre.

When he approached the table, Beezus subconsciously bit on her lip. She wanted to talk to him, say goodbye and express her gratitude. Alas. He went right over to his girlfriend and based on girl code, it meant that she couldn't be near Spike....just not right now. He was strongly fenced and the brunette didn't want a scene to spark right there. It was just not worth it.
So, for the meantime...
Spike with all the different conversations going on around him, Spike just sat and listened for a moment, trying not to get too overwhelmed. At a pause in his co-Prefect's talking though, he leant forward as if to catch her attention, though soon returned to normal as he though better of it. He was all too aware of the friction between Beezus and his girlfriend, and since the two prefects were currently making a Addy and Milton sandwich, now probably wasn't a good time. Though he didn't want her to think he was neglecting her on his final feast at Hogwarts...
Taking a pencil for his pocket, he scrawled 'Later?' on the corner of his napkin, before tearing it off into a square and folding it into a mini origami frog. A quick flick of his wand, and the frog was soon hopping its way to Beezus. Sure, a spider would have more had his signature, but he didn't know how to fold one of those. Hopefully she'd guess from his handwriting?

Uncle? Spike turned towards the younger 'Claw with a bemused smile. "Hi Blue," he said, grinning and returning her wave. It faltered a little at her question though. "Kinda," he answered with a nod. "I've got lots of exciting stuff planned for the summer and beyond. But...I'm gonna miss you guys. A lot." He smiled softly, remembering how he couldn't wait to leave in his younger years. "Sick of it? How so?" Lessons, Spike could believe, but there was SO MUCH ELSE you could do. "Surely you can't be sick of playing Hide and Seek with the statues of armor, or tickling Sir Henry Bartholomew, or playing Quidditch with the wind whistling through your hair?"
Ah, quidditch. How he'd missed it this year.

He was going to be distraught about this leaving thing, wasn't he? She had to be a supportive girlfriend right now.
Addy leaned against Spike and smiled sweetly at him. "I'm right here. I won't leave your side, babe." SUPPORT!
Then Lottie's wiggling fingers caught her attention. Hehe. She was a good one, Lottie. SHE would always be okay. No nonsense kind of kid. The good kind.
Letting her eyes roam over the gathered faces she wished Rawdon was there to see her off. SIGHS. She missed her friend something fierce.
"Spike, I think..." then she trailed off and sat in silence.
Just her squeezing his hand made Spike feel happier about being here...and the excitement he did feel about moving on. It made the whole thing seem more...right. Funny, how things had switched places. A few months ago, it would have been Spike convincing Addy that everything was going to be okay.
At her sigh, Spike turned and looked at her questioningly. "You think...?" For a moment his heart skipped a beat. She didn't think anything bad, did she?

"Hey Ethan," Spike said, smile back on his face. He nodded in agreement. It would have been nice to do some more stuff with him this term - he was sure Ethan would have loved to try some of the crosses in his experimental herbology book. "I know," he replied. "Shame our timetables didn't overlap at all..." Though it really wasn't surprising - given that Spike had given up Quidditch to free his schedule up a bit, and Ethan had been training hard for the team.
"Not university, no," Spike replied. He wasn't really academic, and wanted to be more hands on with that. "Hopefully, I'm going to either Madagascar or the Galapagos Islands to start an apprenticeship in experimental herbology." He grinned. "Just waiting to hear back from the expedition leaders and stuff on where I might have got a place..." And if he didn't get the place, then who knows what he'd do. Maybe Jimmy would take him on again to tide him over until he could apply for some more stuff?
"What about you? Any plans for the summer and beyond?"

Dora would, she wanted to tell Cassia stuff in private places.
Well, Cassia wasn't that good at distances except for her town. But she was glad that Dora seemed satisfied with her summer plans and place of staying. Oh come and see her, the snake's eyes lit up. "I'd love if you came!" She beamed. Because it'd mean pure time with Dora talking and doing special stuff. She already was excited. Besides, maybe Dora wanted to talk about her family and their searching mission. Or not either way it'd be talk and have fun. "We'd have so much fun!" She nodded.

Traitor, much?
"Yeah." He gave a quick look over at Aurora, then back to Cassia. "Ror - Aurora is about to graduate." And he had now accepted that, and he was OK. Yep.
Oh happy and cool Theo bounced back. Good. Cassia still hasn't experienced the feeling of someone really close to her graduating. Though next term she is! will she be crying like Theo! She would find out later. Smiling at her fellow spy, "I came here to talk to Blue about our business." She explained her presence at the eagles' table NOT that it was NOT allowed or anything. Besides come to think of it, Cassia always had a tour around the tables to say her farewells. Though she never went to the Hufflepuffs. And it seemed that Theo will get used to dropping by the Ravenclaw's table. Hehehe. She ,though, wasn't going to comment that out loud. She was a considerate friend.
"Oh, well, I hope she has a good future," She said. "And you'll get to see her at hogsmeade or other places." She added in an attempt to make him feel better. Though Dora was here for this...hehehe..ok,she was done.
"So! Fourteen and summer!" She said clapping her hands together. "Aren't you excited?" He shouuuuuld be.

One of the reasons was because Kat had considered Cassia as her younger sisterly figure, despite her having a younger brother. Helping them get through their tough times and 'help I need assistance' times, that was Kat's duty and she's always liked it that way.
It wasn't surprising that Kat would ask Cassia and not hesitate to offer help and advise. Through the past yeah the third-year had went to the fifth-year several times privately and talked to her about several issues relating to girls. And Kat turned out to be a great secret keeper. A great Quidditch keeper too! hehee.
"I'll always be counting on you." She nodded and grinned at the older blond. "So how were your OWLs?" She asked curiously. Kat had been studying hard, Cassia had seen her in the common room doing so. "I'm sure you were great." Because all Snakes were. Everyone knew that!

Of course. It was almost expected that Bee would call her Dazzler, as it was expected that Kat would call her Stunner. "Thank you," she said. Bee didn't have to flatter her ego right now. "You too. Stunning as ever." Now what was this, an ego-flattering session? Whatever it is, it didn't really matter. "Got any summer plans?"
So uhm... conversation. "This is going to be kind of a sad question but..." Kat sighed. "Do you know when Erin's coming back?" Kat missed her, and she could bet 1234567890 galleons that Bee missed her too. Mellow.

Kat was obviously not one of those cranky older students that most firsties hated. In fact, she was quite the opposite of it. Although she could get irritated sometimes, she extended her patience to listen to their rants and problems. Yeah, she was just that kind sometimes. Not that it was a reason to bring her to trouble. Katrina Hudson knew what revenge was, for many reasons. Besides, Cassia was one of the tolerable younger students Kat liked. She's also got plus points for being a Slytherin.
Wasn't that cheesy? Kat just beamed back at her ickle Cassia. "And I'll always be there to listen to you." Just to add to the cheesiness. Anyway, she was now talking about OWLs. "I'm guessing I did well enough, and they have been interesting too." Especially the practicals. Only that Potions was her favourite out of all of them though, hands down.

He nodded as the Captain continued. "Ah.. that's nice that you can work for your dad." His own worked for the French Ministry so it wasn't like he could join the family business while he figured things out. "That's a good attitude to have," he grinned.

Next thing he knew, Milton was being knocked on the head with Alexa's bony little knuckles. "Oi, oi! he started, swatting at her hand. "Knock it off, my head is very sensitive." Didn't want to send him to the hospital wing on the last day, DIDJ'YA? Then he surely wouldn't stay here forever. "Alright, alright, fine, this isn't a joke... However... You DO realize, this is a completely ridiculous plan, right?" He LOOKED at them. "Oakey is maniac. I'm not staying behind with some kid who got himself stuck in a sink." Seriously, how did somebody manage to do that?

He shuffled around a bit before making an even more (somehow) somber expression. "I suppose I'll miss you and stuff. You were a good captain. Thanks for putting me on the team. Wow, this kid was good at the dramatics. He looked like a lost, abandoned puppy and Milton almost wanted to pat his head and give him a dog treat... but that would be weird. A smile lit up Milton's face. "Thanks, kid. It was fun having you on the team." Wait. He threatened to hit him? Must have been one of those many things he couldn't remember. "Err, no worries." He clapped the kid on the shoulder with a grin. He doubted a little MoBranx hit could hurt him. Especially since he was used to bludgers to the head.

OH. Had he not gotten back to her about that? How very rude of him.. though he had been very busy trying to make sure his relationship was ok. Looking at her a bit apologetically, he said, "I'm really sorry, I should have gotten back to you sooner.. I talked to my mum and she found me a job in a greenhouse, probably best that I stay in Germany anyway.. but thanks for the offer." And he had been thankful to have had that conversation with the Beater or else he and Minerva might not have found that piano in the Room of Requirement.
"So, have you tried that tracking charm on Puppy?"
Turning to the older Ravenclaw, Elise let out a tiny sigh of relief. She hadn't forgotten about it, and this was a lot less awkward now. Yup. He hadn't told her, and he probably forgot that he was supposed to. It happened. Ravenclaws were a very distracted bunch, with all that reading and stuff they did, not to mention the amount of practice they had for Quidditch... Distracted was the word.
"That's fine," she shrugged. Better than having him in the area and Chris being a little strange and jealous, anyway. Because Merlin knew how he got when he was jealous, punching walls and whatnot. "Greenhouses, eh? Well... maybe you'll learn something interesting there that you could show me when you get back?" She did need some brushing up on her Herbology, after all that confusion this term.
Tracking charm? Oh, right! "I did, actually!" Cue the proud grin. "It's amazing, really. He's in his carrier now, but at least I can let him wander without worrying too much." That was good, because bunnies generally hated to be sitting in carriers. It was restrictive, and Elise felt the same most of the time. Small spaces were really cramped and there was hardly room for anything in them.

She had a secret to tell.
Elise had hardly turned to stare at her plate in anticipation when Bee started smirking at her. WHAT HAD SHE DONE? She was innocent, she assured you. Slightly alarmed, she leaned towards the brunette, moving her hair over one shoulder so that it didn't fall onto the table.
Minerva decided it was time to make her way over to that special table that some how since her first year she had ended up at. Last year and again this year it was because of a very special guy. As she scanned the table she stopped and watched for a moment with a smile on her face. He looked like he was having fun with his housemates. For a second she thought about sneaking back to her table and leaving him be with his friends, but at the same moment she wanted to be with him as well. So she slowly walked over behind him and put her hands on his shoulders.
Looking at everyone else around him first she smiled, "Hello" she pretty much knew everyone and figured they all would know here except for maybe Milton, the only time he really spoke to her she had blue hair last term and it seemed to freak him out, he might not realize she was the same with the brown hair. Thinking of the brown hair she hadn't changed that in awhile, she would have to make it back blonde before leaving school.
Moving around and sitting in an empty spot next to Ethan she smiled at him. She looked around and sighed, "How are you doing?" She had already had some moments with her two favorite seventh year badgers and wasn't looking forward to the rest.
Natalie was almost surprised at how fast the year had gone. Almost. She had expected it, in a way, but never thought it would've been over already. Phsew.
Looking around, she couldn't see the face of anyone she knew well. Both Tay and Ronnie weren't at the feast yet, it seemed. Oh, well, Tally was early anyways.... So she decided just to head to her own Claw table. Simple place to start, right? And if Tay or Ronnie walked in, she had to be right where they could see her. Tally didn't want to go the entire feast without being with her new friends.
Deciding to sit in a seat easily visible from the main doors, Natalie found herself next to a Hufflepuff, and an older one no doubt. The girl was, like, one and a half times Natalie's height!! And that was just sitting down!!!!!! She would've been terrified, if not for the fact that this Puff looked familiar.
After several minutes of not remembering, Nat finally had the guts to speak up. "Uhm... excuse me," she began timidly. "You, uhm, seem familiar... do I know you?"
Ethan nodded in return as Belle mentioned summer. "Sure, Diagon Alley would be good, will definitely make a trip or two over summer.. Or we can try to meet up sometime in the States we I go to visit Minerva." But either way, it would be cool to hang out a bit.. then it wouldn't be so sad that she was leaving. "Little brother? Is he coming to Hogwarts soon?"
Ethan grinned a little at Belle's words. He hadn't really realized that she had a little crush on him.. though that was interesting, he thought. "Well, you are right about that.. I think we are inseparable. I can't imagine being without her." But he knew Belle would find someone for her too.
Belle nodded, "Oh of course we can visit in the states. It will be so much easier plus Diagon Alley would be fun because i am coming with my little brother to purchase his school supplies." She was excited to go and help her little firstie. She wanted to experience it all over again what it was like to get her first wand and school supplies.
When Ethan smiled about when she told him about her little crush, she was glad he didn't freak out. Belle was good at hiding her emotions pretty well and that is why Ethan would never guess. Belle smiled when he talked about him and Minnie. "I know you guys will probably be together for a long time. Aww Ethan that is so cliche about not living without her." she playfully punched him the shoulder but she knew it was true. She hoped to find a guy and have a relationship like Ethan/Minnie or Alec/Ella. Only time would tell.

Lex paused for a long moment as she pondered that. It was actually a really legit question. Wow. Was it even possible? Her hand fell to her side so she wouldn't keep tapping him but she was now staring at his head. "That's some clever thinking right there..." She took his head into her hands (not tapping so no complaining, yeah?) and began looking over every inch of it as if it were a fascinating new invention that she had yet to find the 'On' button for.
"If that's the case then what'd you think caused his hair to leave and take his brain with it?" She was willing to guess a few things, being dropped on the head as a child was one of them. Probably fell so hard he startled the poor thing.
Her eyes drifted back to Lottie when she dutifully corrected him. Honestly. How did he even come up with such rubbish? This is why he shouldn't ave been allowed to think. There was a nod of agreement and another two when she said he could stay with Oakey...not that she knew he was staying too. She gave her friend a curious look. "Is the real world too dangerous for him as well?" He was quite unlucky when she thought about it.
Her question was interrupted when Milton felt his opinion had some place in this important discussion.
Lex brows crinkled as she tried to think of a response he'd understand. "It's no more ridiculous than you actually pulling off graduating and Oakey's not that bad. You two can help each other and keep each other's company. Make yourself useful, keep him out of sinks." DUH!!!

She had made a point of putting up a struggle the entire time he'd dragged her down to the feast, which was a looooong way. The soon-to-be fourth year had planned on showing up late enough to miss most of the feast, but still early enough to have a snack and see all her other friends.
This was entirely too early.
They were the first ones here!
"I don't get why YOU want to show up so early anyway. You're not gonna cry over any of the seventh years, are you?" She eyed him suspiciously. "I'm not gonna hold your hand or anything if you do." Just saying. She glanced at the other tables, briefly checking who was already here.
Aidan rolled his eyes. "But FOOD. Just ignore all the dumb seventh years and eat. It's not like you know them anyway." ....Did she?
...He wasn't early....or...that wasn't the PLAN, okay? The plan was There's A Feast Tonight and Let's Not Waste Time That Can Be Spent Eating. The boy blinked at his friend. "Ew, no, I'm not gonna cry. And I don't want to hold your hand." WHAT was she even talking about?! MAD, she was.

When you're someone like Beatrice Castell, one thing you wouldn't want to do at feasts like this was to cry because if you start, it was just hard to stop. Last term's parting wasn't any better than this but she had done a pretty darn good job at containing herself. Hopefully, that will be maintained. Food might help, yes. But there wasn't any food yet so......it was say-goodbye-and-try-not-to-cry time for her.
Before hopping to other tables, she went to the Ravenclaw's first, giving various gestures to her fellow 'Claws - ruffling Aidan's hair, winking at Dora, waving at Kendall, Mika and Gwen - as she passed, until finally patting Milton's shiny head and settling beside her Captain. "You're leaving, huh?"
...Oh, and where in Merlin's socks was Spike Hutchinson?
A chill went down his spine when someone ruffled his hair. LIKE A CHILD.
WHY WAS EVERYONE PICKING ON HIM?!

Was he happy to be leaving?
Almost being eaten by an evil plant could help you to want to board the next train, plain, boat, or whatever means of travel - even dragon-back out of here. So she boastfully walked over and sat down with a slight PLUNK noise next to him.
Plopping the big silver canister on the table she turned to him, pointed at him then at it then him and over again. "Cookie?" She finally said after about a minute of awkward pointing.
She then pried the lid off - because lids were a hinderence after all and waving to Dora and Aiden she chirped to them. "HEY you two want cookies?" She offered.
Ruining appetites wasn't a bad thing...after all, it was the end of term feast...and speeches kind of took forever.
FINALLY. Someone...well, no, he won't say SANE, but...someone not teasing him in any way. Someone offering him FOOD. Which was exactly what he wanted. "YES!" HE had no hesitations about that.

As they approached the Ravenclaw table she turned slightly to make sure Lottie was still in toe. Didn't want her getting lost in all this or probably smushed to death, because either way there would be no apology. Older students never apologized.
"Hey I think I see him!" Over theeeeere, talking to Aidan and Dora...sorta. They both got waves.
This meant more shoving and pushing until she final came to a stop in front of him. "Dude!" Because she and Lottie had words for him. Yup. Did Lottie want to go first?
Aidan waved back at his...friend and...not-so-friend-but-working-on-it.

Besides it now felt cool to walk when she was no more a short girl getting bumped by people.
As she neared the table she grinned seeing all the familiar faces. Wow, didn't she know a lot of Ravvies. Oh and Lex was here too. Good then no need to drop by the Lions' table. Unless Lex wanted to be dropped there? Cassia wouldn't mind. With a smile one her face she first got near where Dora was. "Hey Dora!" Cassia said squeaking cheerfully at the fellow third-year. Who had stuff to tell. Mhhmm. The snake surely knew about the developments with Theo but she needed details! Not now though. "How's things?" The 'claw would know about what the snake meant. And because Cassia was nice and polite and all. She smiled over at the boy(Aidan) with Dora. "Hi there," Wasn't this particular boy Lex's friend. Hmm...That called for a prolonged look. Cassia needed to approve of Lex's friends. According to her information the boy was a seeker so that was a cool good thing. "I'm Cassia," She said after a couple of moments, hopefully the boy wasn't weirded out. " I'm Lex's and Dora's friend," She added feeling the need to tell that.
"Er...Hi." He recognized this face. But....that was it. Dora had explaining to do.
...Or not, as the girl introduced herself. "I'm Aidan. I'm Lex and Dora's friend, too." Apparently, they weren't very good at getting friends with other friends because he didn't know this Cassia very well.
He didn't even know Mo was Lex and Alice's friend for the longest time. And he was on a TEAM with him!
Maybe over the summer they'd all hang out. Even though that was arguably more inconvenient than at Hogwarts. But, oh well.
Out of no where, someone else Aidan only really knew by face came over, sat next to HIS friend that be FORCED to come here, then put his arm around her and..........
...........
Ew.
Aidan made a face at them. "You guys are gross. Stop that."

"The beeeest? Don't tell Elise that or she'll take me out with her bat over the summer," Mo was obviously flattered, even if he found it unlikely. Elise was the awesomest Beater in Ravenclaw, and maybe the best Beater in the school. And that was saying something, because Alice was a Beater.
And it was FUN having Mo on the team? That was a nice thing to say. It was sorta like Mo and Milton were best friends for life now. They could get matching tattoos and go camping and fight hippogryffs together. SO MANY POTENTIAL ADVENTURES. "Yeah, cool," Mo nodded. "Good luck next year. Do you have super exciting plans after graduation?"

Anya nodded solemnly. "And you promise to make some time for me, right?" she asked pulling away and looking at him. "Because, I need to get a years worth of talking in."
She let out a slow breath. "Yeah. I know. I'll just... miss you." And if she wanted to be dramatic about it, that was perfectly allowed.
"History of Magic won't be nearly as fun without you." It would be weird in fact. They'd spent - what was it now? - three terms sitting next to each other.
Wow. Three terms. Three crazy terms. And... this really was it. Anya forced a smile and repeated "I'll miss you."

She took his head into her hands (not tapping so no complaining, yeah?) and began looking over every inch of it as if it were a fascinating new invention that she had yet to find the 'On' button for.
Sensitive. LOL!
He was the most amusing person ever, though.
Okay, Lottie had to add something to that Milton, because Oakey was NOT a maniac, he was just a weird boy who liked healthy stuff. Sometimes a little too much. But not exactly a maniac. Since healthy stuff involved nature, and Lottie was a fan of that, then...Oakey was sort of okay. "Says the boy who almost got eaten by a plant." Cue eyebrow raise.
And...what was this thing about a sink? Never mind.
The second year Hogwartian laughed out loud at Lex, though. What was she looking for on Milton's head? Didn't she know there was nothing in there? "Perhaps the hair thought it was pointless to stay if there was no brain?" It was a perfectly-well theoretical argument.
Oh, and Oakey? "He's too dangerous for the real world, actually. And he makes good smoothies." Fair reasons if you asked her.
BACK TO MILTON! "We're serious, you should consider this."
Taylor wasnt feeling up to talking so she just sat there, barely touching her food. She was missing Lily Potter and Damon Mercada. She sighed and glanced around.

Yeah. Them two were like this. In contrast to how she and Elliot insults each other, her dialogues with Kat were of the exact opposite. And yet, both were equally special to her. How.....amusing.
So, summer. "Me? I'm going to Ireland for a week to visit my favorite Slytherin." Beezus beamed, she was particularly stoked! The rest of her summer, well, she wasn't sure yet. "How about you? What was it you wanted to tell, Bee?
This was good, right? Instead of the usual tear-flooded convos, she was actually having fun with her housemates for the last night of this term. Last laugh, as they say.
And as she chortled, she leaned forward to meet Elise and whispered in her ear, "I was going to say............*dramatic pause*.........that you look very pretty tonight." HEHEHE. Ya know.

That's what was up, Kat. Not to mention the fact that she had no real plans of paying attention to the headmistress's speech. She just wanted her food.
Elise calling Kat bestie was, once again, expected. Kat returned her Ravenclaw bestie's beam. Sooner or later she'll have to retreat back to her snakes nest because she could tell that Truebridge was going to deliver the speech anytime now. However they were still chatting at the Staff Table, so Kat wasn't going to return to her table yet. Then she looked back at her bestie. "You did look like a booboo face earlier when I saw you getting in the Hall," Kat put that out. Oh yeah, she totally saw it. With her Keeper eyes SOARING the room, she can see things happen.

Ireland with her favourite Slytherin. Obviously it wasn't Kat because she herself didn't have plans on going to that place. Ouch, right? "You've got plans with my Captain?" Kat asked. Oh, who else would it be? Who else could be her Stunner's favourite Slytherin if it wasn't Kat herself? Probably Daichi but to weight it, it did seem that Dylan had more of the possibility to be Bee's favourite Slytherin.
Or maybe Kat could just stop making a huge deal out of this? Yep, good plan.
"I'll drop you an owl the day before I visit," Kat smiled at the stunning as usual Ravenclaw. You know, so that it wouldn't be a surprise on Bee's part just like last summer. "But besides that, not much plans." Yeah, not much. She had some plans, all of them regarding Elise and stuff. Oh well, she'll just have to see if they push through. Other than that, she wasn't going anywhere else but become a second stay-at-home mummy to her nephew. About Erin though, Kat laughed a bit at Bee's joke. Erin can't be scared of OWLs. They weren't really that bad, and besides she was a Ravenclaw. Aren't they witty and stuff? "It's like you're saying she'll miss out the important exams. But if she was scared of OWLs, how much more scared would she be during NEWTs?" Which would be in about two terms from now. Kat tried to push away the thought of graduation. Meh...

"As for me, I do not have ANY plans," How many times had she said this in the past fifteen minutes..A lot. And it still felt sad. Because it sounded lame. "I'll be probably spending it at the town with my brother and family," Which was fun but not like going to France! "We'll meet at Diagon Alley though, right?" She asked because it'd be fun!
Gwendolyn was really looking forward to this holiday. France. Wizarding France. Maybe muggle France too? But Gwen would probably not be able to survive without magic for more than a few days. Erm. Anyway. ‘I will’, Gwen responded. Yep. She would definitely meet with the Slytherin and tell her all about the trip. Photos. Mhm. Nod at that too.
She then listened to what Cassia was saying. ‘Absolutely’ They really had to meet over the summer. ‘Besides, I will probably be around Diagon Alley most of the summer’ Yes, well she would be gone to France. But she would be spending the rest of the holiday home and around Diagon Alley. Mhm.

‘Same here’, Gwen said and glimpsed at the staff table. ‘Any idea how much longer ‘til the speech?’, she asked Beezus, drawing her attention back to the Ravenclaw.
Hmm.
Not that great at baking cookies. ‘I think I’m even worse than you’, she chuckled. Really. Gwen was probably the worst cook. EVER. She started remembering her first attempt to bake muffins- when she ended up nearly setting the kitchen on fire. Erm. Those memories.
She got distracted as she heard Mika say something. Hmm. Any idea where? Gwen was sure she would be spending her holiday in the wizarding France. ‘That does sound interesting’ New York. Melbourne. UK. It sounded like a great holiday.
