As is usually with charms class, desks and chairs are seemingly gleaming to the point of seeing your reflections in them and the room is immaculate. The room is bright, the air is crisp and generally conclusive to learning.
Professor Bellaire is standing in front of her desk waiting to welcome you to Charms Class.
The professor has outlined the lesson on the board, so while waiting to take your seats, get your minds working.

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
With his school bag hoisted over his shoulder, Daichi made his way to the charms classroom. He was a little selfconcious because his OWL result had been a failing grade. Before he entered he looked down if his green and silver tie was straight around his neck and if his shoelaces were tied. Now fully entering the room, Daichi suddenly remembered which room in the castle reminded him of Professor Flamsteed's office.
The charms classroom! Because it was ...neat...and clean...and BLEH! the Prefect walked to the front of room at first when he spotted the Professor and bowed his head in greeting. "Hello Professor" he said with a smile and quickly turned his Prefect badge that had been upside down. His teardrop shaped eyes looked at the blackboard while he took a seat and began to think.

Charms...It was time for Charms.
Entering the classroom, the Slytherin Captain quickly moved to find a seat. Gravitating towards one in the front, he settled his bag down on the ground next to the chair...Remembering Professor Bellaire's rule, Dylan didn't move to sit just yet. Instead he glanced towards the front where the lady was standing. He eyed her for a long moment...several things running through his mind.
The foremost being...No. He did not like her...for reasons that he probably should've gotten over by now...but as an aside, that didn't mean that he wasn't going to respect her. Nodding his head, the Slytherin greeted her. "Good morning, Professor...I hope you are well."

Disillusionment charm eh? should be interesting.
Professor Bellaire was busy squinted her eyes at the desks and chairs before her, trying to make sure that everything was indeed aligned when the first two students walked in.
"Good morning Mr.Katharos." She narrowed her eyes a little at him. "You know the rules of this classroom, you sit when you're asked to." At least the boy wasn't a hot mess today with cobwebs all over him and half eaten food in hand.

"Good morning Mr. Montgomery . I am well I trust that it is the same for you." She checked the clock ticking away behind her. There was still plenty of time for the others to arrive.

Right, time for Charms. Bliss quite liked this lesson, because, well, charms in general interested her. You could do practically anything if you had the right charm to assist you. She swung her bag backwards and forwards as she made her way to the classroom, only just resisting the urge to skip. Knowing her luck, she'd fall over if she did that.
Never a good thing.
When she reached and entered the classroom, she noted that she was one of the first to arrive, only Dylan and Daichi were here already. As she passed Bellaire, she smiled. "Good morning, Professor," she greeted, before walking towards a seat. She didn't sit, however, she just placed her bag down and waited. That was what she was supposed to do, right?

OOOH, this actually sounded like a really interesting class! Alex walked into the room and grinned as he read the board. Finally a lesson he could really get into! He smiled at the professor and greeted her. "Good morning!" he said happily as he took his seat.

Charms. Oh boy.Well they were okay really. Asher did like charms don't get him wrong. He just didn't particularly like to study for the lesson. The Slytherin liked more hands on work. Lets face it the only thing his hands would be on would be his wand and quill.
As He enter the classroom. He nodded friendly to the Professor. "Hello Professor." Now time to find a seat. He seen Captain Dylan near the front of the classroom. He found a seat just behind him. He tossed his bag in the chair and stood their. He turned to his Captain and gvie him a nod. "Hey Captain"
When can they sit down? He shouldn't have gone for that run this morning before class now his feet were killing him.

"Yes, ma'am." There was nothing in his life that he could complain about at the moment. Even the stuff with Bee was starting to work itself out. So, all was well.
Also, he felt the need to lay on a pretty smile...

Hey, Captain.
Ahem. "Romalotti." Dylan offered the younger boy a small grin and nodded. "Staying out of trouble, yea?" No more punching random people, right? Angry little dude.
Yeah, Selina was too tired to really care this morning. Her sleep had sort of been... interrupted as of late. It was just too stressful to sleep. SO when she had gotten ready this morning she left her tie loose and her hair up in a high pony tail. Usually, when she knew she was going to Bellaire's class, she tried to pull herself together a little more, but she really didn't care this morning. AND she was hungry. Ugh, that was the worst part.
Throwing on her best I-am-not-tired-face, she walked into the classroom and resisted a yawn when she greeted her Professor, "Morning, Professor." Yeah, morning. Why did Professors always schedule classes for the morning? Why not after lunch when people were properly energized and had two, maybe three meals in them? If the Board of Governors REALLY wanted to earn people's votes they needed to get classes to be pushed later into the day.
Finding her usual seat, she yawned and threw her bag next to her feet before she leaned her elbows on the desk. Nice and comfy.

BOYOHBOYOHBOYOHBOYOHBOY!!! It was time for charms! In his time here at Hogwarts, Charms had become his favorite subject. Well, next to quidditch and getting dirty, of course. But neither of those were really subjects, per se.
The youngster zipped into the classroom at lightning pace (while still walking, of course; if he couldn't make it as something in the wizarding world, he could always train to be a champion speedwalker) and found a seat. A quick, "Hi Professor!" escaped his mouth in the chaos.

Muttering almost indistinctly to herself about things that was on the letter that her owl had brought in this morning, Beezus smoothed her skirt and robes whilst she was still at the door before stepping inside. She was preoccupied, thus, the usual excellent tidiness of the room wasn't very much appreciated, she wouldn't have even turned a hair until Professor Bellaire greeted her when she came in. "Err...hello, Professor." she replied somewhat absently and walked towards a seat.
She sat down, and it took her a few seconds to notice that she was the only one who did so and as quickly as she had descended, the same went for when she stood up again. "Drat." Ugh, please don't let Professor Bellaire tell me off for that. Or even better, hopefully the woman didn't see that.
Biting her bottom lip, the Ravenclaw's eyes darted to the board, wanting to grasp anything that would distract her from current thoughts. Disillusionment Charm, hmm. Can they start now please? She didn't need her mind wandering off again.

She absolutely loved late January mornings. The air was crisp and clean and the sun started coming out a bit. Mornings like this always put her in such a good mood.
She smiled at each student that walked in and offered them a all a bright morning. She wasn't over the top cheery but it was bright as far as Sophia Bellaire was concerned.
"Morning students!"
That was of course until her eyes caught sight of the head girl. Her lips pursed into a thin line as she saw her hair and the tie..and oh my Merlin no! did she just slump on the desk that she was suppose to be standing attentively behind? This was the girl they chose to be head of the school? Out of all the students?

"The rest of you may take your seats. We'll begin momentarily." The others still had a bit of time to get to class.

Jory hurried into the charms classroom, fearing that he would be late. But fortunately, as he observed when he got there, he was not.
"Good day, Professor,'' he greeted and then wen off to get a seat. After settling down, he noticed the words on the board. "Disillusionment Charm? Should be very interesting.''

Ella quickly checked that she was looking presentable outside the classroom and made her way in, a very faint smile on her face. She welcomed the distraction of classes right now and the thought brightened her mood, if only a little. Spotting the professor, the blonde greeted her quietly but with a smile. "Hello Professor." Mini!beam.
Eyes downcast, the blonde then made her way to an empty seat and flopped down before taking out some parchment and a quill. Disillusionment charm, eh? How funny. Ella would very much like to blend into her surroundings right now. Yup.

Violet hastily made her way through the halls, praying that she wasn't late. She really did not want to upset Professor Bellaire, and especially not in her favorite subject. And not only that, she did NOT want the Professor to see that she had just been crying. Although, Violet was very positive that her eyes were looking bloodshot as well as her cheeks being reddened as well.
The cause of this crying of course had been brought up from a very haunting dream she had last night. With the recent event of her little sister being kidnapped, it was all Violet could think about. But try as much as she could to keep her thoughts positive as Ella had told her, it was almost seeming to be impossible for Violet not to the think the worst.
Violet reached the classroom and quickly took a few calming breaths and adjusted her uniform, making sure everything was neatly in order. She blinked a couple of times and then wiped her cheeks one more time. Violet plastered on her best possible smile and then quickly walked into the room. She bowed her head before Professor Bellaire saying in her usual polite manner,"Good morning Professor Bellaire.." Then she quickly turned with her 'smile' still upon her face as she went to choose a seat.
She sat down, crossing her legs and placing her things neatly upon her desk. Violet then closed her eyes for a brief moment, hoping that her eyes still weren't red from crying. And she also took a moment to take one more calming breath, letting it out slowly. After doing so, she then opened her eyes and then smiled looking at the Professor once more. She laced her fingers and placed then gracefully on her desk as she waited for today's lesson to begin. All the while, still smiling through her deep pain.
She was going to get through this...she had to.
It was when Violet noticed the words, Disillusionment Charm, did she feel her heart quicken a little bit. Suddenly, Violet wasn't feeling too great.

Alyssa quickly walked into the room and was dismayed to see that class had started...or had it? She quickly walked up to Professor Bellaire and greeted her.
"Hello Professor Bellaire." she smiled at her. She had remembered what her agreement was with the Professor. How she performed today in this class would determine whether she would have those extra tuition lessons.
Looking around, she found a seat next to Jory, sat down and quickly pulled out her writing materials and her textbook and got ready for class to start. She noticed that the Professor had written on the board the words, Disillushionment Charm. With that in mind, she turned to her textbook to see what it had to say about that specific charm.

Bliss' eyes widen EVER so slightly as she listened to the Professor and watched Selina. The older girl looked like she hadn't slept all week and Bliss ... Bliss understood. Bliss herself had been having nightmares, various different ones, but they all resulted in her loosing sleep. Luckily for her, she was the type of person that, if she put a smile on, she looked like she could face anything that the world threw at her. That wasn't true though.
Anywayyyy, time to sit down. Bliss smiled shyly at Bellaire, slightly scared to make eye contact as the teacher didn't seem to be in the best of moods. She took her seat and then propped her elbows up on the desk, waiting patiently for the lesson to officially begin. This lesson was bound to interesting, judging by what it said on the board. YUP.
Spike was going to skip this class, however had been tempted back to it by the title. Disillusionment might come in handy in the future, and so he'd found himself in the Charms classroom this morning rather than having a lie in. And being far too aware of Bellaire's strictness, he'd even spent an extra five minutes to make sure he didn't look like he'd just fallen out of bed, even if he had left it as late as possible before getting up and had munched on a couple of cookies for breakfast on the way down the stairs.
Anyway he was here, and he said a polite, "Morning, Professor," as he went past the front desk and headed towards one nearer the back. And as they were permitted to sit down, Spike did so. Now, it really had better be as exciting as he hoped...

She was joking right? She HAD to be joking. She wanted her to fix her hair, which WAS in a pony tail and off of her face, and adjust her tie and stand behind her desk like she was in military school? Okay, the seventh year understood that Bellaire was off her rocker with the OCD clean stuff, but come on, this was excessive. She was tired and had come to class to learn. So MAYBE her tie was a tad loose and her hair was up and, okay, she did NOT listen to the rules and sat down. But seriously? SERIOUSLY? She was going to call her sick in the head? Really? Weren't there boundaries anymore?
Ugh, fine. She wanted to play that way it was just BLOODY fine. Picking up her bag she mumbled, "Sorry, Professor," and walked out of the room. As soon as she was outside there was a split second where she contemplating just bailing on the class, but she decided against it. There were some of her ickles in that class and she HAD to set an example for them. Even if Bellaire thought she was nutters and disrespectful and all of that. Just ugh.
So she tightened her tie, straightened out her uniform, quickly put her hair into a french braid because it was the only thing that would make her look half put together and walked back in the room. Walking back past Bellaire she nodded, "Sorry again, Professor." And then, like she was in military school and not Hogwarts, she stood at attention behind her desk. Yeah, she was tired and cranky AND hungry.
Sarah had not any time to check her appearnce before heading to charm, yet just before she entered she tucked a few whisps of hair behind her ears. All good to go.
She walked in, looked at the board and broke out into a smile. Disillusionment Charm.. Yippy! She could barely contain her excitement. "Good day Professor" she called. "I am so excited for this lesson!" she said her eyes simply glowing.
She sat down at a random desk.

Theo was almost late today. Well, not late, but not early, which is what he USUALLY was. The third year flew through the door, a slight windswept look about him, and pulled the nearest seat to the front. And daaaaaang, professor Bellaire was looking good in her dress up there. Theo beamed at her, "Hi, professor Bellaire, how're you today?" He asked, still catching his breath.
And.... and.... oh.... all of his uniform buttons were undone.
Theo tried not to make a fuss over it. Maybe she wouldn't notice, or even better, she'd let it slide because he was her FAVOURITE student, right? Back to the board, he saw 'Disillusiona'.
Hmm, never heard of it.

Laura was really tired this morning, she walked into the classroom wearing her uniform though she hadn't bothered to make sure it was smart, she was too tired, she'd been having nightmares lately and couldn't sleep though she wasn't going to tell anyone them because she didn't need to have them telling her to go to the mean healer. "Morning Professor." Laura smiled at the Professor.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey came into the Charms classroom. He never looked perfect, but when it came to Bellaire he did his best to look presentable enough. At lest she held the class in the morning, this prevented him from going outside on his daily walk around the Grounds.
He looked the classroom over to see who had arrived and the first person to catch his attention was Dylan. He took a deep breathe and removed his gaze from the Slytherin quickly taking the furthest desk away from him, in the back corner of the classroom. He plopped his things down beside him and looked back up to see if the Slytherin Captain had noticed him. Then quickly removed his gaze on him again.

With her bag slung over her shoulder, Cassia poked her head into the classroom. Was she late! She let a sigh of relief seeing that students were still taking their seats. So with a smile on her face she stepped further into the room and nodded cheerfully at the professor, "Good Day Professor," She said before making a beeline to one of the seats.
And all familiar faces on the way received nods and smiles. Actually even unfamiliar faces received those too. Why? Because her mood was up high. A good thing, though also it meant that the bad mood time had approached. People better take advantage of this.
Placing her bag on a desk, Cassia slid into her seat and sat back. So what were they going to learn, she wondered excitedly. She couldn't wait to get to the part where they used their wands and practices whatever stuff. Yay for practical subjects.

When Professor Bellaire started ragging on Selina, Dylan immediately wanted to jump to her defense...but upon actually LOOKING at Selina...Well, it all kinda seemed appropriate.
The redhead almost looked WORSE than usual...which made him think about recent events. Was she still having nightmares? Dylan had been having the same but had finally been reduced to taking Dreamless Sleep potions every night...It had gotten THAT bad.
Shooting his best mate a look, he slowly took his seat...all the while staring in her direction.

In fact, he was so distracted by Bellaire and Selina...that he didn't pay Gunter the slightest bit of attention. He had NOTHING to say to the Hufflepuff these days. Nothing at all...and if Oak was a smart Badger, he'd just stay away from him.
As it were, he made Dylan uneasy...Best just to separate and leave it alone.
