Falling back on her be-hind from the sudden loud girl!shriek from Airey, Medea stared wide eyed at the man, heart pounding like a stampede of hippogriffs. His...his finger? Holymotherofmerlinwhatdidshedo! Took a moment for it to really process in her mind. "I..." SHE CUT HIM?? "I-I'm sorry...!"

Medea scrambled to her knees, glancing from Airey to the healer. SKLdfjaf!

Oh, he had gotten a much bigger reaction out of Medea that he thought he would have. Should he blow her a kiss like she had to him? Nah, that seemed a little out of character at the moment.

Gripping his finger more tightly, he spun around and saw the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor scrambling on her knees and he sort of rolled towards her - since his two big toes were still stuck together...oh, would you look at that. Pushing them together just made the trap fall right off. Huh. Interesting.

"I can't believe you....," he said, wiggling a bit more. "I can't believe you fell for it!" Grinning from ear to ear now, the Astronomy professor put both hands up on either side of his head and wiggled his fingers for good measure.

See. All five fingers still there.

Oh Merlin...he was rolling in pain!

SHE COULD FIX THIS! She...no. THE HEALER could fix this! The woman was literally, standing, right there-

What was going on? Staring down at the man, it took just as long to process this as it did when she thought she really had cut him, or worse, made him lose part of his finger. "What?" This was a joke? This was a JOKE? Mouth agape, the defense professor slumped on her feet, a look of disbelief on her face. That...that was mean. That was totally crossing the line! She...

She was not becoming teary eyed. No. They were in the presence of students. Wibble.

Feeling rather pleased with himself, far more than he should be, Airey chuckled softly and pushed himself off the ground to go look for his shoes and socks when Medea's current state caught his attention.

He had had many a response to his pranks before - including having things thrown at him - bur seeing tears was sort of...new.

Cue socially awkward Airey.

Fists casually hitting his thighs, Airey furrowed his brow and pouted his lips for a few loooong moments while he watched ...... ooooooooooh no. No no no no no. Those were not actual tears, right? He had only...

Moving swiftly, and forgetting for the moment that there were students there, Airey helped Medea balance herself in a sort of awkward hug!hold. He really was rubbish when it came to tears. Miss Cambridge knew that as well.

"I...um...I didn't mean..." Fidget fidget. What were you supposed to do at a time like this? Hug it out? While still not entirely hugging her, Airey awkwardly patted her back. "I'mreallysorry."

Oh! Professor Romanos was going to cut the toy wrapped around the other Professor's fingers! This should be good.

The Slytherin Prefect did a step closer so that he could watch as well. A small evil part of him wanted it to go wrong because that would be funny. There was a snap sound and Daichi wanted to clap his hands when Flamsteed began to SCREAM!

"DID YOU CUT HIM PROFESSOR?!" He shrieked. Remember when he thought it would be funny if his finger got cut. Well, now that it happened it wasn't so much. He took a step back, away from the man rolling around in pain. mweeeeh what could he dooo?!

It was then that he saw his DADA professor falling on her knees, looking like she was about to cry. He looked at Alexa and the Healer and blinked before his attention snapped back to Flamsteed.

Wait...it had been...a ...joke? "That's mean, professor!" he pouted. And he had totally not fallen for that! nu-uh! Seeing him trying to hug professor Romanos made Daichi grin though.

"Flamsteed and Romanos sitting in a tree..." he began to whisper!sing to himself. hehe~

"Oh oh! Professor Romanos?! can i cut the one on his feet? pleeeaaase?" HE COULD DO THIS!

This was getting ridiculous--even more ridiculous than it was a couple minutes ago. She got the feeling that they weren't really going to try getting her candy back. How rude, how VERY, SUPER RUUUUUDE. She thought to pout about it until something was done but then her attention quickly turned to the Professor when she cut away the toy...

Blink. Blink.

Really Professor? Of all the noises he could make when his finger got chopped--that's what happened right...because he was making some serious shrill noises over there, merlin! She stared at him, rather curiously as Professor Romanos freaked out showed her concern for something that might or might not have been her fault...he was wiggling around down there...

Usually there would have been more concern on the part of the 12 year old, Professor Airey was cool, but yeah...she had her priorities and candy just happened to beat sympathy...like every time.

She looked to Daichi, wondering if he'd suggest they ask the Healer since she wasn't going to and the Healer didn't jump at it right away but then..

....

STARE.

He was laughing and it was a joke??? MERLIN'S BEARD!!! He was there looking for a laugh while she was one the verge of a BREAK DOWN due to CANDY THEFT!! Priorities Professor!!! He OBVIOUSLY needed to get his straight!!!!!!!!....And now Professor Romanos was...oh dear.

"Now look what you've done Professor. It's a bad idea to upset the DADA Professor you know. It's like common knowledge. They know all the hexes and jinxes and stuff. You wouldn't stand a chance if she decided to zap you into tomorrow." And now she was even more curious. Why didn't the Professor give him a piece of her wand? She would have. Lex continued staring even into the patting and Daichi being gross with his little whispered song. She wrinkled her nose and made a face at him. "Ew."

OH but he was gonna get to cut the Professor's feet free?? She wanted to cut something toooooo!!!!
