Despite the chilly winds that would come through every now and then, the warmer temperatures of spring made it too good of a chance to pass up having the windows open. With the sun shining brightly in streams through the glass windows, giving the arena a soft glow about it, a simple cloak was well enough to keep one extra warm if they found the slightly chilled air troublesome. Nothing seems out of the ordinary as you enter the arena, almost boring in fact. The purple mats and short desks were lined up as usual on the floor, and Professor Romanos was seated upon the stands with a tiny (and maybe familiar to some) friend next to her boots, smiling and greeting the students as they walked in. The miniature animated spider sculpture may go up and tap against your foot as a hello, but would always swiftly return to the Professor afterward. Best take a seat quickly, for the lesson was going to start soon.

"Alright! Everyone! Stop your duels." She waited for them to do so before continuing, smile ever present on her face. "That is all the time we have for today. However, you do have access to the arena for any practice duels you wish to have, but, the rules on spells still apply. Refrain from using harmful spells." Medea eyed them for a moment. "Other than that, you are free to go. There will be no homework for today."

"Finite!" He managed to focus enough to end his hilariously embarrassing dance, almost tripping over his own feet in the process, but he realized that the lesson was over just as he was about to attempt to disarm his opponent. He shook his leg to remove the numb feeling, and looked over at Ella when the professor had ended the lesson. "I suppose we'll call it a draw. Unless you'd like to continue the duel." He smiled, noting that the professor had said they had access to the Arena.
O___O
She'd gotten him! Patrick was dancing and Ella tried REALLY hard not to laugh. It probably wasn't proper dueling etiquette to get all giggly during a duel, yeah? Even if the dancing did look really silly? The blonde settled on a faint smile as she watched her dueling partner end the spell. Heh. That was cool.
Focusing again, Ella was ready to throw up a shield charm when she heard Professor Romanos end the class. Aw man, that wasn't fun. She really enjoyed dueling! She smiled at Patrick as he said they could call it a draw or continue dueling, shrugging her shoulders. "Doesn't matter to me." Beam! "You're really good at this dueling thing, y'know." He did know that, didn't he?

Patrick shook his head slowly. "I'm rather indifferent too, I don't mind whether we end it here or keep going." He smiled at Ella. "But if you'd like to continue, I have time." He said invitingly, and shrugging at her compliment. "Well, I wouldn't say good, but I guess I'm not the worst duelist out there. You're not so bad at all yourself." He smirked.
Rhythmically tapping his wand against his hip, he awaited her reply before either ending or continuing the duel. After all, it wouldn't be very good duel etiquette at all to make any attempt to defeat an unsuspecting, unprepared opponent, and Patrick was nothing, if not polite.

Hmm. He was indifferent too? Well that made Ella's decision a bit easier. The blonde smiled a little and nodded. "Definitely not the worst." As for her being not so bad, she shrugged. "Thank you."
"Food?" Nod. That was her decision. "Dueling always makes me a bit hungry." Y'know, what with the working hard and all that. "If you ever need a dueling partner sometime, I'm around." Grin! "I'd enjoy the practice."

Patrick let out a hearty chuckle, agreeing completely with her choice. "Food it is then." He said, tucking his wand away in it's little holster at his side. He sauntered over to the desk where he had left his bag and turned around, looking at Ella. "If I'm ever in the mood to work out some anger, or, you know.. Get dance lessons, I'll know who to talk to." He grinned as he flung his bag over his shoulder. He honestly hoped he had made a new friend that day. Ella seemed like such a nice person.

Ella smiled and nodded, glad he didn't think the food idea was silly or anything. Not that that would have changed her mind, Ella loved to eat. She went over to gather her things as well, picking up her bag and placing her wand in her pocket. Dance lessons? Giggle. The blonde grinned and nodded. "Yup, I'd be happy to help!"
And heading towards the door, the badger waved at the boy. "See you around, Patrick! Bye Professor!"
Patrick waved back at Ella with a smile. "See you later, Ella!" He replied cheerfully. He wasn't sure what it was, but he was just feeling good that day, and he had a feeling the day would be getting better and better. He walked over to the door, and with a spring in his step, he ventured through to meet whatever the day had in store for him.
