Mack really didn't know if there was a specific place she was supposed to sit, bit she figured it was every man for themselves. She didn't see anyone else near the back and she figured students were still on their way to the train. Maybe she'd see Lex and get to sit with her.. Or make a few other friends. That's what her goal was on the trip home. make friends it really did sound odd for her to say that considering she had been at school all term, but here she was saying it. The small girl sighed and waited for others to begin to appear.

Taylor went to the back after putting her things in the luggage compartment. She had a small bag though that contained a few books. Tay yawned and found an empty compartment. Taylor went in and laid down, waiting on her cousin to show up.

Damon followed shortly after Taylor and smiled at his cousin, "Hey," He sat beside her, his school robe in hand since she usually used it as a blanket, "Can you believe it's the last time I'll get to ride this train with you?" He frowned slightly at the idea, but it vanished quickly.

Christopher walked down the train with Elise's hand in his, looking for a compartment that could get them away from intruders. He'd want to meet up with Ryan and Minnie and Tag and everyone later but he didn't want anyone around for what he had planned. Luckily, they had reached the train earlier and got first pick of the back compartments. Clearly, only the cool kids sat in the back.

Finally finding one that was third to the last, he let go of her hand and opened the door, leaving space for her to enter in first. "Madame?" He added, bowing a bit as one would do for a Princess. With a wink, he added, "Your compartment awaits you." This train ride was definitely going to be one of the longest ever but he could feel that everything was going to go as planned.

Chris was a fast walker and Elise had realized that a long time ago, though she was remembering that now. Not only did he walk fast, but he also had much larger strides than she did, forcing her to take three steps to every one he took. She was practically running to keep up, and by the time he stopped, they had run all the way down the train.

Face flushed and a little out of breath, she smiled at him, dipping into a small curtsy before she got into the compartment. She didn't sit down immediately. Rather, she stood almost right in the middle of the compartment, looking at him expectantly. "Chris," she said quietly, letting her voice trail off. She knew that there was something wrong, something he wanted to tell her and if he'd decided that he was going to tell her now, she wouldn't interrupt.

"Dont remind me." She pouted and hugged him, clinging. "Im gonna miss you." She took his cloak, like always, and wrap it around her. Tay leaned against her cousin and laid her head on his shoulder. "I love you." Taylor yawned. "I got my blanket..." She tugged the robe, "And I got my pillow." Tay patted his shoulder and smiled before replacing her head on his shoulder. "I am ready for my nap." She laughed and looked up at him. "Who is going to be my new pillow though?" She pouted a little.

Damon kissed her forehead with a smile, "I'm sure your boyfriend will happily be your new pillow." He nodded and laid his head against the window, "I'm going to miss you too."

Taylor looked at him, "What if he is t as comfy?" She got comfortable and closed her eyes, not falling asleep though.

"I'm sure he'll be comfy for you." Damon smiled at her, "And you know I'm only a second away if you need me." He handed her a new set of scrolls since Grimalkin tore up his last one, "I'll be here whenever you need me."

Taylor took the scroll and smiled, "Thank you, Damon." She gave him a light kiss on the cheek then wrote: Love you on the scroll. "I hope he is as comfy as you are, cousin."

Mack had had enough of sitting alone, so she decided to explore and see who else was int the back cars, surely there would be someone approachable. She walked by a compartment that held two people, they didn't look like the last two people she followed who were about to snog, she slid open the door, "umm hi, mind if I join?" the girl was slightly trembling as she asked the two older students.

Taylor sighed at the door opening and then again at the firstie. "I guess not but who are you?" She gestured to the seat across from them before curling into the boy again.

Mack was accustomed to not being wanted around by the older students, why were they so cold? didn't they remember their first year here? "nevermind" the blonde rolled her eyes and left the compartment.

"Hey, firstie, you can come be with us... I just didnt think you would want to just be a stranger... usually when people talk, they know their names!" She called after her then settled back into Damon's chest.

Jory dragged his trunk his trunk down the corridor towards the back of the train. There weren't may students there yet but that didn't matter. All he wanted was to find a compartment. Tobias's cage was under his arm and his Pygmy Puff Furball on his shoulder making humming sounds.

Finally, the Puffer stopped at an empty compartment, slid the door open and headed inside. After stashing his trunk, replacing Furball in his cage he then set the two cages on the seats opposite. He wasn't expecting company- well no one would come looking for him anyway, unless it were Gwen- so why not occupy the seats?

Jory turned his attention to the outside, looking at the students as they clamored onto the train as he waited for the Train to depart.

Minerva had wondered off while Ethan was talking to a friend, she was looking for her usual group frowning a bit knowing it was Damon's last time on the train. As she looked into the compartments she noticed someone sitting alone. Taking a closer look she noticed it was Jory, now why on earth would he not be sitting with others. Sitting her trunk down she slide the door, "Hey your not in here already studying for next term, are you?" She giggled, and just as she was about to walk into his compartment she noticed Taylor and Damon in the compartment right across from his.

Smiling at him, she walked in and grabbed his arm, "You know what, I'm not taking no for an answer, your not sitting here all alone, get yourself up and join us in the other compartment." Pulling at him she drug him along to the other compartment.

"Hey Taylor, Hey Damon.. This is Jory, I don't know if either of you know him, he's a great Hufflepuff and a great friend. He's going to sit in here with us.. " Yep no was not in her vocabulary at the moment. Looking back around she was trying to make sure she caught Ethan before he walked passed them. "So Damon how does it feel to be done?" She looked over to her friend and frowned a bit, "I hate this you know..."

Tay sighed, "Hey Min... and Jory... Im Tay..." She waved slightly and stayed curled up, leaning on Damon. So much for being alone with Damon... but... she knew that, that wouldnt have happened anyways.

After stopping for a minute to talk to Patrick, Ethan headed down the corridor after Minerva.. his cat, Elise trotting along ahead of him. He spotted his girlfriend a little ways down at the back of the train, partially out of one of the compartments, and continued walking towards her. Apparently the Siamese knew where she was going as she turned into the compartment before him and he started to head in. "Is this where we're sitting?" he asked Minerva as he pulled his trunk past her, inside. She had ahold of one of her Puff friend's arms, to which Ethan gave a slightly odd look, then giving him a small smile. "Hello."

Once inside, he noticed Damon and Taylor already sitting there. "Hey, guys.." he gave them a friendly nod, then lifted his trunk to the over head compartment. The Ravenclaw chuckled a bit as he watched Elise jump up on the seat where those two where sitting and she curled up next to Damon, resting her head against his leg. "Hope you don't mind," he said, gesturing to the cat as claimed the seat across from them. He left some room for Minerva next to him, as he leaned back and stretched out his legs. "Elise is a bit of a flirt." Annoying at times, though Ethan thought it was rather amusing anymore.

He gave his girlfriend a grin before looking at the other three. "So.. what's going on?"

Hey, Ethan." She smiled at him but didnt move much. "I like my pillow." She patted Damon, "Isnt it the best pillow?" Tay beamed at her Ravenclaw friend.

He looked at Elise and realized that she seemed to be out of breath? Chris blinked at her for a few seconds, trying to figure out what in the world could have happened on the way there. Eventually, he realized that the height difference probably had him taking bigger steps than her. Feeling extremely horrible for rushing her, he made a mental note to make sure to take smaller steps when walking with her.

Entering the compartment and closing the door behind him, he took her hand in his and led her to sit down next to him. He had heard her say his name and there was something in her tone of voice that made him realize she knew he had something to tell her. How long had she known though? Chris had decided long before their last kiss that he'd break everything to her, but after the fiasco from only a few days ago, he had begun thinking of changing his mind. Now that he was there though, he knew what to do.

He watched her carefully, to see if he could magically read her mind or something but when nothing came to him, he figured he should speak up. "Um....hi..." Why was it that every time he had to have a serious talk with her, all he could think of was what it had been like to kiss her? He cleared his mind completely and moved his eyes up from her lips to her eyes. "I...I think I should tell you something..."

Minerva noticed Taylor didn't seem to want her in there, but she just ignored it. Damon was not just her's and he was one of Minerva's best friends and she was spending this train ride in the same place she had sat for the last few years, with them. "So are we glad to be headed home Taylor?" She wasn't sure if Taylor's mom was better yet or not and was kind of afraid to ask, she didn't want to see Taylor get upset again.

Just then she saw Ethan coming down the train and smiled, "Hey E, hope you don't mind being in here for a bit." She didn't think he would mind hanging out with Taylor, Damon, and as long as Min forced him.. Jory. Oh speaking of Jory, "Ethan do you know Jory? Jory this is my boyfriend Ethan, Ethan this is another great friend and my competition in the puff house for point earner Jory." She laughed a bit joking with Jory.

Letting go of Jory's arm, she went over and sat down next to Ethan. "Nothing is going on that I know, just got here right before you." She leaned back and looked around to make sure Fluffy was still hanging out. "So is your parents going to be at the station waiting on you?" She was dreading that part of the trip.

Jory was still watching the other students who had not yet boarded the Train. He was going to miss all this after his final year. The endless chattering of the students, the hisses from cats, hoots from owls and the squeaks from the Pygmy Puffs.

He was distracted, however, by the familiar voice. "Minerva,'' he said turning to look at his friend. He laughed. "No, not as yet.'' He could always expect teasing about school work from Minerva. And then to the Puffer's surprise, she grabbed his arm. "I'm not sitting by myself,'' he protested. "There's my owl and Pygmy Puff to keep me company.'' Still, Minerva refused to listen to him, so a resigned Jory allowed himself to be dragged to the compartment opposite.



Minerva now introduced him to a Ravenclaw girl who looked to be about his age. "Hi there, Tay,'' the boy responded with a smile. "Hi, Damon.'' He had seen both of them around School but he never actually spoke to them.



"Hi Ethan,'' Jory said turning to another familiar Claw. He did not miss the weird look he got. "Minerva's still holding onto my arm,'' he realised. He hoped Ethan didn't think badly of him. But he was distracted by the way Minerva introduced him. A bit red in the face, he grinned. "Your girlfriend can be tough competition, you know.'' Now his arm was released as Minerva went to take a seat next to Ethan. Awkwardly, Jory sat opposite to them and fixed his attention on the cat which was now resting it's head on Damon's leg.

"Not at all, Minerva." She sighed and buried her head in Damon's chest as thoughts about her mother came to mind. Tears were in her eyes and sighed. Tay shook a little until she heard Jory's voice. Taylor looked up. She gave him a nod then reburied her head again.

Ethan smiled upon hearing Minerva's new nickname for him, thinking he kinda liked it from her. Then he shook his head a bit in response to her comment about the seating arrangements. "No.. this is cool.." He was all relaxed and stretched out.. besides everyone in this compartment was alright with him. He could handle the train ride in their company.

The Ravenclaw boy smiled at Taylor as she did the same. "Damon is your pillow?" he questioned her, somewhat amused. "I don't know if he's the best.. he chuckled at her words, figuring that was a matter of opinion. "But I'd have to say my cat agrees with you." Ethan glanced at Elise still leaning against the new graduate.

Ethan stretched his arm along the back of the seat behind Minerva as she took the seat next to him, then his green eyes fell on the Puff boy as he took the seat opposite them. He gave him a friendly smile as he was introduced then reached over to stretch out his hand, offering to shake. "Nice to meet you, Jory.." he said, noting to himself that he had seen his yearmate often around school but wasn't sure they had really spoken. Chuckling a bit at his words, he said, "That I do know.. Minerva's a smart girl. Congrats on the Cup win by the way.." He figured Jory was probably a big contributor to that.. and the Claw knew those Puffs had been hard to beat, especially this term. "Or tie, I guess.." he added remembering that last minute upset.

He turned his attention back to Minerva at her question. "Oh.. yeah, at least my mum will be.. I think my dad will be at work." And until he had that license in his hands, he wouldn't be able to Apparate home himself so a parent was necessary. "Do you want to grab a bite to eat with us before you have to get on your.. umm, plane?" And that was something else he would be worried about.. but he tried not to think about it for now.
