Used for transportation between cars, the train corridor tends to see a lot of traffic. Don't stay in one place too long or you might just get trampled.
Damon looked at her, "She asked me to take her, seeing how she now has the triplets and Lori permanently..." He looked down, "Seeing how George passed."
Taylor nodded, "Okay..." She grimaced at the thought of George dieing.
"Pain." Tay said it fast and simply. She was trying to hide it in her eyes.
He nodded understanding, "Lex you're free to come or stay." He held Taylor close a he started to move down the hall looking for an open compartment for them.

Tay, of course, followed Damon since she kinda of being forced to but she didnt really care. She smiled as she tried to help find an open compartment.

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time! Why did she have to be wandering the corridors just as the Head Girl lost her cat?! This could get her in serious trouble, and it wasn't even her fault per say. Now where'd that cat go?
Still making her way through the crowds without bothering to excuse herself anymore, Ariadne eventually spotted someone familiar. The Forever Unlucky Hufflepuff! What was his name again? 'Oakey!' the girl called. 'Help me catch that cat, please!' On second thought, if Oakey was involved, things were bound to become worse. Well, too late to consider that now...

Zhenya had dissapeared without saying goodbye or something and now Tiffany also didn't want to see him anymore because of his attitude.
Exhaled, he walked heading to look for an empty compartment and maybe he could have some sleep there and forget all things that happened before.
But when he walked there, suddenly he felt that someone grabbed his hand. Gary stopped his walk and turned back. The person who stopped him was.. Tiffany? His blue eyes widened as he noticed at her. So.. Did she want to apologize him? He stared at her for a while and heard that she had apologized him. Finally! He was so.. glad. Very much glad. A smile appeared at his face. It wasn't a cool smile as usual. But it was the happy one, the smile that he rarely showed to other people. He moved closer and pulled her into his hug.
Tiffany was glad that she could be able to find him through the crowd and she was even more glad that he seems to have just accepted her apology. If she couldn't stop him from walking any further at this point, maybe she would not ne able to tell him how she exactly felt after all. Maybe she had to leave it till they arrived at school, then she could tell him but many things could be changed within that time. Maybe they would never meet again if she did not call him right now.
The two just stood there, without speaking. There was silence between them once again, but she was kind of relieved and happy even without saying anything about 'I forgive you' or something like that. The lioness looked into his eyes and observed his smile. It was not that familiar cold smile but a bright one, hanging on his lips. She couldn't help but smiled back. Those little smiles really did break the tension.
Just as she was about to talk, she felt his arms wrapped around her. He hugged her which made her flush a lot. But it was so warm that she didn't want to let go. She rested her chin on his shoulder. It was so good gaining her friend back, and it was even better having the apple boy back. "Keep that,"she whispered to him. Your smile.

It took Ari quite a while to realize why she had trouble walking further. A cat was blocking her way.
What should she do? Her first instinct was to raise her right foot and give it a push. A gentle one, of course. Luckily, she didn't do that. Luckily, because the cat's owner was someone Ariadne recognized as the Head Girl, and she had the feeling that the Ravenclaw wouldn't have liked it.
But then she said something. Catch the cat?'Are you talking to me?' 'Cause the train corridor was pretty crowded, you know. She could've been addressing anyone.
With this hesitation, Ariadne had wasted precious moments in which the cat darted forward and was now at a considerable distance. It was all her fault! 'Here, kitty, kitty! Come here!' she tried to call the animal back, but it kept running. There was no other choice but to run after it.
'I'm sorry, I can fix this!' she yelled back at the cat's owner, trying to make her way through the crowd of students.
WHY were students dense sometimes?! Louisa wanted to roll her eyes and shout a 'yes' at the girl before her evil cat ran away and the Ravenclaw had to check every compartment and cat carrier in this whole train to find the sneaky feline. However, the girl caught up to what Louisa was trying to do and quickly ran after the cat, the seventeen years old continued to squeeze and jog through the students, her cat basket cradled in her arms and sincerely hoping that the unnamed kitten won't wake up from all the rocking.
The tabby Viola wasn't that quick in escaping, since the corridor was this crowded, so the girl should get it easily. This made Louisa feel slightly relaxed and slow down her pace while her eyes hung on the back of the girl, "DON'T WORRY SHE WON'T BITE YOU!" So that the girl won't be alarmed or hesitant with the cat. "SHE'S VIOLA!" And with that the seventh year student simply waited in her spot for the girl to get the cat and come back to her. She was wearing a thick darn hoodie and soaking wet from this few seconds of jogging. No more running after them.

And in turn she decided to call Tia, TiTi (that's pronounced TieTie). "That's cool," Bliss said and grinned, it was always nice when siblings had things in..common? Maybe one day she'd think of a cool nickname for Terry, that wasn't Terry. Maybe. "Yes, it is," Bliss agreed, "but everyone in my family has long names. One of my sister's is called Tianna Lily Rose Ryans," she explained to Terry and grinned.
Bliss smiled and watched as Terry's cheeks went slightly pink. Aww. "You're welcome," Bliss said and then positively beamed at him. "I'd love to be your friend," she told him, "Will you be my friend?" She asked hopefully, raising an eyebrow at him. Oooh, this boy liked Care of Magical Creatures too? "Wow, she did? That's cool!" Bliss exclaimed. "My older sister owns an animal sanctuary that used to belong to my Grandmother, so I've grown up around animals too," Bliss explained to Terry. "So yeah, I like Care of Magical Creatures, but I also like Potions." She finished and smiled at her new friend.
Terry thought that turtle suited him, not because he was particularly good at swimming or loved the sea but it just did. And when you had heard yourself be called that many times over, it was impregnated on your brain. "I'm just Terry Radley, my mum didn't give me a middle name. Tilly's got one, the same one as my mother, Jane" But seeing as he had no idea who his father was and Erica refused to ever mention it, Terry had no one to be named after. It didn't bother him though, he had no interest in discovering the other side of his family, it had been his mum and uncle who brought him up and therefore it would be only them who he considered as family. He was quite mature sometimes for a 12 year old, occasionally wiser beyond his years.
The boy made a note to always find Bliss when he needed help as she had been a very nice person to him, not that others hadn't of course, everyone he had met had been incredibly nice to him. "I'd love to be your friend too" he nodded enthusiastically. "Yes but she had to leave a couple of years ago." Which sucked because sometimes she got to bring exciting things home he'd never seen in the flesh before. They had something in common, that was a definite positive. "That's really cool" he beamed. "Maybe we can be partners in Care of Magical Creatures and Potions?" he asked hopefully. He didn't know how good he was at Potions yet, it wasn't something he had much experience of.
There it was! The ever-so-famous Renesmee Bear Hug, Oakey let her squeeze set in. There was something odd about it though, there was something pinned on her robe and Oakey could feel it pressing against his chest.
When Renesmee released him, he looked down and inspected her robes for what pressed against him. "Renesmee!" Oakey beamed when he saw he Captain badge resting upon her. He took her in for another hug this time squeezing her! "You're the new Captain! This is GREAT!"
That's what she meant when she said her compartment, she gets to sit in with the Prefects and other captains. He let go of her from his hug. "Prefects are already at it?" Oakey asked as he watched Louisa yell and chase after something.
He felt something furry squeeze between his legs.
Ow! What was that? As Ness hugged Oakey she felt a small jab across her chest. It took her not too long to remember that she was wearing her badge, and sort of hoped Oakey hadn't felt it, but he had.
Pulling out from the hug, Ness gave Oakey a nod. "I...I am." she stammered and then her cheeks began to redden. She wasn't used to this whole captain thing, but hopefully it would feel more normal soon. "Thanks." she beamed at him, only to begin pouting again when he mentioned something about the Prefects already at it.
They were! If only Oakey had been in the compartment earlier. It was chaos and just madness. Was it always this crazy with prefects or was something up this term? Who knew. What Oakey was talking about was something else. Nessie followed he's eyes and then spotted Louisa chasing around. "Seems like it, you should have seen the prefects compartment earlier." She pouted more. "I wonder what Louisa is up to." Hmmm, possibly a pet. Ness knew what it was like to chase Puffles and she utterly hated it.
*blink*
There was something furry by Oakeys legs, Nessie couldn't see it properly, but she was beggining to worry as to what it was. She remained her mouth shut for now though, waiting to see what would happen first.

Anyway, she was going to hang around the train corridor for a bit longer, since her Gryffindor friend had decided to break the news to her just before Jinx dashed out the compartment. And Gwendolyn definitely needed time to process all the information.
So, once Jinx was back, the fifth year calmed down a bit. ‘Meyow’, Jinx tried to draw the girl’s attention back to him. Instead of Gwen, the other girl gave him a pat on the head. Finally, the black furball wasn’t looking suspiciously at the Gryffindor Prefect anymore. How can you look suspiciously at someone who has cookies?! COOKIES. It wasn’t his fault that his owner, Gwen, couldn’t even make tea.
Hmph.
‘Right’, Gwendolyn mumbled, only now realizing that she may have managed to remind Kurumi that this was her last term at Hogwarts. Ughhh. She was blaming her dizziness for this. ‘I umm… I am’, she started saying, trying to figure out what was the best thing to reply. ‘Even though I had a great summer, I’m really excited to be getting back’ Mhm. That was true. She missed Hogwarts. A lot.
Other than that… hmm… she was curious to find out what had changed since the last time she had been there. She remembered Tate’s speeches. She couldn’t believe there wasn’t going to be any ‘don’t die’ part at the beginning of the feast this year. Pity. ‘How umm… how was your holiday?’ If she got this question wrong too, then she had better returned to her compartment.
Suddenly, Jinx jumped back down, but this time, he decided to stay around. Naaah. No more walking. It was enough for the day.
Lazzzyyy.
Kurumi couldn't help but feel just a little jealous for how well behaved in comparison Jinx seemed to be. Granted all cats had their moments and Walnut had calmed down...sort of...over the past six terms...there was just no telling what would happen in this seventh and final term. Especially now that she knew about just how fond he was of Lewis' cat Vanilla.
Hopefully all the kittens were doing well.
"Oh gosh, I'm sorry Gwen. I didn't mean to be so...depressed..." Kurumi mumbled as she tugged on her tank top idly and gave Walnut a good scratch behind the ears. "I've just been doing a lot of reflecting. Trying to figure out how not to waste time..." She offered the Ravenclaw a brave but genuine smile. "I want to make this last one the best it can be."
Which meant she needed to STOP being so down on herself for certain things. Those that cared for her, especially Treyen and Lewis, had told her she was bloody mad for thinking herself a failure...but it was hard for Kurumi not to think so right now. Which was why she was going to speak to Professor Bentley as soon as she could.
"Summer was good, one of the better ones I've had in a while," she nodded. Kurumi decided to leave out the bit about her mother's one year funeral rites. It was something that was not just immensely private, but also something that would simply add to the somber mood and that needed to be fixed. "Treyen came to visit for a bit and then I spent the second half of the summer staying with Lewis in Nebraska." The color in her cheeks rose noticeably at the mention of Lewis' name - as always. "How about you?"

"Renesmee this is great news, you should be a lot more excited." He patted her reassuringly on the shoulder after seeing her pout."I'm gonna tryout again this year, and having you as the Captain I'm sure we can win the cup back for Keefer." Right, even if his former captain told him not to worry, Oakey would still feel partially responsible for their loss to Slytherin that had them miss playing in the Finals. Oakey would do whatever it took t o get that trophy back in Hadley's office.
Things were going down at the Prefect's compartment? "Do tell?" Oakey wanted to here about it...maybe Sierra finally snapped?
He looked down at his feet as a familiar voice began yelling at him to catch the cat. The cat was certainly still there trying to nudge between his feet. There really wasn't anywhere else for it to go. Now Oakey could be nice to the Cat and open his legs some to let it free or he could pick it up. Weighing the options he decided it would be best to follow the instructions of Louisa."You think this is who Louisa's looking for?" He reached down and carefully picked up the cat.
He turned around and gave the two girls a smile holding the cat between the armpits of it's front paws with his two hands. "Is this the cat?" Oakey called out to them. The cat, Viola was her name? It did not look very pleased to be held the way it was by Oakey.

"I think your name's great as it is," Bliss said truthfully, flashing Terry a smile. It was true, some names were better left on their own and Terry's was one of them. Bliss liked having Hope Mae as her middle names, somehow it made her feel younger. Younger than she felt, with all this Laura drama, she was being forced to grow up faster than she should be to understand her cousin's problem. Bliss really wanted to feel young again, but there was no going back now.
It was official. She had a new friend! GIGGLE!BEAM! She felt like hopping up and down with happiness. "Yay!" She exclaimed and grinned at her friend Terry. Bliss counted in her head. One. Two. "Sarah graduated two years ago, so that's when she got the rescue centre. But of course my Gran had it before her," she said thoughtfully. The time had really flown, it felt like only yesterday that Sarah had returned home and told them that she got the rescue centre. "It is," Bliss agreed and nodded. "Oh," Bliss said and thought. Last year no one had asked to be her partner in any subjects. "That'd be great, Terry!" She said and beamed brightly at him.

Moving on…
Summer. ‘Nebraska, that sounds interesting’, she said, failing to notice the colour change of Kurumi’s checks. She looked out the window for a moment, trying to figure out how long it would take to get to Hogwarts. ‘Hmm?’, she mused, after hearing Kurumi say something. ‘I’ve spent the first part of the holiday in France’ To visit Ari and convince her to come back to Hogwarts. After a whole year her bestie spent at Beauxbatons, Gwen knew she couldn’t handle not seeing Ariadne for so long again. Thankfully, things got better and the Gryffindor was back. Back for good.
‘And then umm… I’ve been trying to meet my friends over the summer. I always find it hard to catch up with everyone at the beginning of a new term’ Catching up with everyone at the feast was just not working for her.

Terry blushed slightly when she said about his name being good the way it was. He would've liked a middle name, not necessarily his fathers but something unusual that other people didn't have. Like.. Turtle! Why not? No one else would have a name like that. "Thanks" he chuckled, he supposed that even his first name was quite unusual itself.
"Would you like to have the Sanctuary when you're older?" he asked. He didn't know yet if he wanted to carry on his mothers footsteps and work with Magical Creatures. He could end up having talents in other subjects that he didn't know about and want to persue this as a career or he might find he's rubbish at everything and look to different Muggle careers. He, however hoped that he would find something in the magical world that took his interest as this was what he grew up in.
He beamed as she agreed to be partners in those lessons. "What are the lessons like?" he asked interested. "And the Professors?" It would be good to know who to avoid chatting in lessons with and to watch out in the corridors. Terry wasn't planning on doing anything naughty, that just wasn't his personality Unless he was persuaded of course. He'd work extra hard on the professors who were strictest.

Thank Merlin, the chase was over! Ariadne wanted to hug Oakey but reconsidered it. He was talking to a girl, so it was better not to embarrass him. Was that the cat? Ari should know. It was partly her fault that the animal got so far away, though she wasn't the one guilty for letting it free.
'Yes, thank you, Oakey!' Ariadne nodded and took the cat gently in her arms. It won't bite, Louisa said. She should be fine. 'I owe you big time.' She'll have to make it up to him sometime. 'I can't talk now, but you must think of some way I can repay you and let me know. I don't want to remain in your debt.' Ari held Viola tightly and turned to leave, allowing the two Hufflepuffs to continue their conversation.

‘And then umm… I’ve been trying to meet my friends over the summer. I always find it hard to catch up with everyone at the beginning of a new term’ Catching up with everyone at the feast was just not working for her.
The whole conversation was causing Kurumi to reflect a lot more than she thought she would be...on her first day. All the conversations she needed to have with people. All the things she still had yet to do. NEWTs. Cookie recipes to test out and discover...the list could go on and on. "Hey Gwen," she said rather suddenly, looking up and meeting the Ravenclaw's gaze. "Let's be sure to hang out more this term, okay? Not just in lessons."
Yes, there would always be Diagon Alley and Kurumi could always go to Hogsmeade, but it wouldn't be the same as being in classes, in the corridors, eating dinner in the Great Hall...everything would be different. So now was the time to make the best of it all.
"Maybe Walnut and Jinx can have a play date or something." When it doubt...although, judging from the way his ears were going down and he was glaring at the other cat...that might not go so well. Walnut wasn't please...those were HIS cookies...
"It was incredible," Kurumi said, blushing just a bit more. Of course that didn't have so much to do with the location but with the boy she spent all her time with. "Oh France! I've never been there before. Then again, I really haven't been much of anywhere."

Bliss titled her head to the side and look at Terry quizzically. "Why are you blushing?" Bliss asked, she'd only said that thought his name was fine of it's own. It wasn't that a compliment, was it? She shook her head, "No problem," she said and grinned at him. Maybe Terry didn't get many compliments on his name or didn't like it on it's own, who knew. But Bliss definitely liked Terry's name, that's for sure.
Bliss shook her head and sighed. She'd thought about it, it had been an offer that was made, but she had decided against it and the sanctuary was going to be left in Sarah's hands and then perhaps Tianna's one day. "No, I would have liked to, but I have a different careerer in mind," she said honestly and swung her guitar from her shoulders and into her hands, putting Twitch's cage down beside her. "I want to be a singer," she said and blushed lightly. "I..erm..do you wanna listen to something?" Bliss asked tentatively, scared that if she did sing to him, that he wouldn't like it. No matter how many people said she was good, she was always, always scared of that outcome.
Bliss thought carefully about this. Every subject was different and obviously Bliss liked some better than others, but that didn't mean Terry would think the same. "Well, they're all fun and interesting," she said honestly and nodded her head. "Hmm, and the teachers are mainly nice, but sometimes strict. But they definitely makes sure you learn a lot, which is good!" Bliss explained and took a deep breath for dramatic effect."I'm sure they'll all love you, Terry!" She said assuringly.
Making her way back to the cat's owner, Ariadne couldn't help but feel proud of herself. She didn't have much reason, though, because Oakey was the one who had caught the cat, after all. But she had alerted him, that had to count for something, right?
'Here she is, the little imp. Do you want me to put her in the basket?' There was a risk for Viola to run away again, but Louisa's hands seemed to be quite full. 'Or do you want me to bring her to your compartment?' Ari offered. It was not like she was carrying anything.
'You're Louisa, right?'The Head Girl? Ariadne had most definitely seen her in the castle before, though they'd never spoken to each other as far as she could tell. 'I'm Ariadne Marchbanks, Ari for short.' Running after the older girl's cat entitled her to an introduction, no?
So when Louisa imagined the girl running after the cat, her vision didn't contain another two students participating - one of which was Nessie. And a boy whose name didn't ring any bells yet. However, watching her bratty cat trying to escape through the boy's legs was pretty amusing, the Ravenclaw just kept her spot and slightly smiled at the teamwork of catching her cat. When the girl walked back to her, Louisa waved at Nessie and her boy friend appreciating their help. "Thanks!"
Back to the overly excited cat and the helpful girl, "Yeah, I'm Louisa Carter. Seventh year Ravenclaw." Full introduction, and the badge... well it was right there on her chest so. "Thank you Ariadne for the help." She nodded at the girl, her smile not touching her eyes not because she was upset but because Louisa had been slightly depressed the past week. "Yeah, I don't want to go back to the compartment though. I was looking for an empty one. Could you walk with me while holding her? Unless I'm keeping you from something." Because... people had friends. Louisa did too, but now most of them were either graduated or had claimed to be a Prefect and needed a firm lecture.

WHAT?!
He was blushing? No he wasn't! Terry lifted his hand to his cheek and felt it flushing. He frowned and covered them up. "No I'm not!" he protested. "It's a bit hot in here" he looked up to the window and pondered whether he could open it. That would cool him down wouldn't it? He pressed his cheek against the cool window and prayed that it would get rid of the redness that was apparently inhabiting his cheek.
He became more interested when Bliss talked about what it was she wanted to do in the future. Terry had no idea and it surprised him that she already had a definite idea of what career path she would like to go down. His eyebrows shot up as she told him she wanted to be a singer. He had never really been that into music himself, not because it bored him or anything but because up in the Orkney Islands, listening to music wasn't something you did. "Sure" he grinned and twisted to the side on the seat so that his back was against the window and his knees were up. There, now he was comfortable.
The lessons sounded exciting and he was definitely looking forward to seeing some cool magical stuff going on. His mother had told him about the ghosts that wandered about and the magical ceiling and he couldn't wait to see them with his own eyes. "I hope they will!" he smiled, in fact he hoped that everyone liked him, he didn't want to make any enemies. "I'll make sure that I'm really good and do all my homework and stuff" And that he didn't misbehave, not that he was planning on doing that.
If she was entirely honest, Kate Williams was absolutely terrified. She couldn't find a compartment, she hated the awkwardness that came with meeting new people, and okay, yeah, maybe she was a bit afraid of getting trampled on. The eleven year old sighed. Better start looking again. She heaved her trunk - who knew books were so heavy? - along with her small barn owl, Apollo, who was hooting excitedly, and staggered up the train again, determined to both find a seat and draw as little attention to herself as humanly possible.
