Damon kissed her forehead lightly, "I'll talk to you later, alright?" He gave a small smile and his eyes turned pale emerald, showing that he was slightly happier.
The girls were about to leave, when... water - no, greyish, awful water - poured all around the corridor. What in the name of Merlin's long, grey beard was happening?! Nora knew that Myrtle... cried... hence the nickname, but a ghost couldn't do... THAT...
... right?
"EEEEEK!" Water. Everywhere.
She couldn't agree more when Cora suggested heading out. "You mean FLYING away? I can't even swim!" Well, that was a stupid thing to say, since there wasn't that much water... yet, but Nora was horrified. When Cora grabbed her hand, she sped as fast as she could through the water, having no idea where to go. Far away from that, she knew as much.
Cora clung to Nora's hand. Fortunately there wasn't too much water...yet. But Cora did NOT want to risk it, so willingly followed Nora desperately. "Don't worry. I can swim." If it comes to it. Currently swimming would no be necessary, but Nora seemed a bit concerned, so Cora, through sputters and coughs, made sure to reassure Nora.
The water was tough to wade through, especially since it was flowing down the corridor. But Cora knew they had to get out fast. The water was FREEZING. Clinging to Nora for support, Cora lead them towards the stairs. She didn't know where she was going, but the closest staircase was leading to the third floor.
"Good enough", Cora thought.
Grasping the handrail with her free hand, she pulled Nora. "Come ON!" she yelled, a bit out of breath. And suddenly, they were in the third floor corridor.
Cora gasped and coughed. Not quite the quiet walk Cora had hoped they were about to go on. Shivering, she looked at Nora. "Leave it to Myrtle to make such a mess!"
Now that they were in a relatively calm area, Cora looked at Nora, all covered in gross water, and at herself, just as soaked. Despite having been so desperate to get out of there, Cora started to laugh.
"Hahahaha. We look completely ridiculous!" She hoped her smile was contagious, now that they were out of harm's way. She shivered a bit, wishing she suddenly had more body fat to keep her warm.

Third floor. No water. Good.
"Do you think it was Myrtle who did this?" Truth be told, Nora thought the weeping ghost was one for drama, but not... practical stuff. Like flooding a floor. And she shivered, all of a sudden, which reminded her that she was soaked... or at least her lower half.
... and Cora was amused.
...
Nora wasn't.
"My clothes!" She gasped aloud, trying to squish the disgusting looking water out of her robes, groaning when she realized that she actually TOUCHED it. "Ugh!" She was WET. And all sticky and icky yucky. "I'm going downstairs to change. Maybe we can meet after that to take our walk?" She smiled only a little, just to show Cora that she wasn't mad at her. She was just... throwing a tantrum about her robes. Nearly.

Cora's smile faded. Okay, Nora CLEARLY didn't find this amusing at all. But come on, this was HILARIOUS. Not that Cora wanted to stay in her soaked robes any longer, but she still thought it funny.
"I thought I saw Myrtle glide by as the water started to pour in. But I could have been mistaken. You're right, though. It doesn't seem like something Myrtle usually does." Cora wondered if Myrtle was bothered by something, or someone.
Looking at the mess, Cora agreed. "We should DEFINITELY go change. I may wash up as well." Cora wouldn't want to be such a mess on their nice walk. "Hmmm. Let's meet...in the courtyard? Unless you have an ideas." Cora didn't care in the least where they went, she just chose a place at random and was open to anywhere.

Hmmm.
It didn't seem like something Myrtle usually does, eh? "Well, it's not Hogwarts if it's peaceful and normal, right?" Even if she was angry about her robes getting soaked, she still couldn't help but grin. There was never a peaceful term. There was no such thing.
"The courtyard it is, then," Nora smiled. "I'll meet you there... as soon as I'll get myself cleaned up, how's that?" Good thing she had a few spare robes, not to mention how delighted she was that the water hadn't reached her hair. THAT would have been a disaster.
Laura skipped down the corridor, she was in a jolly mood today. "Skip, skip, skip to my Lou." Laura sang as she went along down the corridor, she didn't know why she was doing it but she just thought it was fun, she looked around the corridor and continued to sing whilst skipping, she felt like playing hop-scotch or something that would be good. "I do declare this day to be a plesent day." Laura smiled as she thought about the shock her friends would get if they saw her now.

Cora was not paying attention as she walked down the hall. She very nearly bumped into a girl skipping along, and then her abrupt stop caused her to lose her footing. "Oh!" Cora tripped and fell. Sigh. Surprise, surprise. Cora was always falling.
With a smile, she looked up at the third year (at least Cora thought she was a third year). "Sorry I almost bumped into you," she said apologetically. "Guess I need to pay attention to where I'm going more often. That's what my mom always used to tell me, at least."

Another gap time between classes, and Vickers wasn’t quite happy with how his earlier attempt turned out. Again he opens the book and the dummies leapt out. He has to at least get one of them down right? ”Torparticus!” he uttered suddenly, hoping his spell would hit at least one of them. It hit the left dummy resoundly, seeing it fall back into the book. Huzzah? Not quite, because now the other dummy hit him with a stunning spell.
It was small but it stung. Bah he has to prep for his next class, as the Professor just walked passed him.
