The Wall (Platforms 9 and 10) Best to take it at a bit of a run if you're nervous ;). You may RP your character(s) crossing over from Muggle King's Cross Station to the Wizarding Platform here. |
This was insane, Ezra thought. A completely new way of doing things, of course. He only knew of flying to school daily, he'd never been to a boarding school before. Bugaboo, Ezzi's fruit bat, was perching on his shoulders, joyful just to be out and about. Ezra on the other hand, was a little clueless by this point on which way to go. He pulled his luggage next to him and leaned up against the wall, hoping to catch eye how some students that knew what they where doing. |
"lex do you need me to help you with this part?" Her father asked as the approached platform 9 3/4. He had been a little nervous even though she was the one heading off to school. He could remember his first time crossing the wall. It had been both terrifying and interesting at the same time but knowing his daughter this was all just exciting. Still he couldn't help but worry. She might have hurt herself going across the wall! "Daddy I'm fine..." She whined, twisting where she stood. She didn't know why he had to be such a worry wart right before she did something fun! It was just the same right before she jumped off the neighbour's roof--he had been scared out of his wits, and for no reason too because she only got a broken arm from it! This was just another one of those awesome experiences that she would be able to live through and remember for years to come. She didn't want to ruin it by having to consider how worried her father was and she certainly didn't care whether or not Amanda got squashed while trying to cross. It would have only made her day. Heather. Heaaaather. Heeeeaaaaathherrr. "Where is she?" Cass muttered to herself as she glanced down at the heavy watch that her father had persisted on giving her for her 17th birthday. "I don't even know how to read the stupid thing." she told herself sullenly as she watched the planets move around the face of the clock. And this was why she preferred muggle watches better. Unfortunately, her's broke in a tragic accident involving the bathroom and her half-asleep state when she decided to take a bath that morning. "Heeaather." The 17-year-old whined as she tapped her foot onto the marble floor of the station, holding onto her cart firmly trying to avoid the curious stares that she was getting from the muggles. Thank Merlin she decided on bringing a cat this year, she didn't want any more unnecessary attention. |

Looking down at the cart she was pulling, she sighed at the sight of her cat, napping as it went. "Really Seraphina... you're more spoiled than last." she chuckled and searched around for the sight of a familiar blonde...to which didn't take long. There she was, standing, looking impatient. Heather sighed. She was sure to get a scolding, but she didn't mind. She did in fact miss that. "Cass! Over here Cass!" called Heather as she pushed her cart and quickly made her way towards the blonde. "Sorry i'm late. Camellia had clingy issues." |
Of course. The entrance to the platform was an enchanted wall. Edmund had been leaning against the opposite wall and just staring at the entrance and the people going through it for a good hour. He was uneasy about going through this magical doorway. Especially since it was a solid object at other times. Vaguely wondering why muggles didn't lean on that particular wall, he came to the conclusion that there must some kind of spell that told them not to. |

Camellia? Clingy? Really? "Seriously?" She asked dryly "She doesn't seem the type.." then she added teasingly with a laugh "Don't you mean your parents were clingy?" Her parents could be a little...yeah. |
Quote:
"...exactly, Cams isn't the type, mom said she might have developed some issues or what, but i think it's because she'd be leaving for New York after dropping me off. Besides, Dad's in the States and Mom didn't come along to drop me off. Said she had to visit grandma and grandpa Gaunt immediately." she said as she tried so hard to follow Cass. that girl walks so fast, Heather always thought that one step from Cass is equivalent to two steps of hers. "I hope we find a vacant compartment." she said, trying to keep the mood light and not hit rock bottom. |
Alex swallowed her nerves as she approached platform 9. Nine and three-quarters, nine and three-quarter, nine and three-quarters... She shook her head. She was insane. She was going to wake up and this was all going to have been a dream, Diagon Alley, Neyiri- her owl, all of it. What was she thinking? Well, if it turns out it all was just a dream, she'd like to know she lived it out until she woke up. Shaking her head and plucking up her courage, the eleven-year old girl tucked a strand of curly caramel brown hair behind her ear and took a deep breath. There was platform 10. So, it should be right here. But Alex wasn't one to fall for magical tricks. This was it, and she knew it. Quote:

As usual Nell was on her own though her grandpa had seen fit to at least say goodbye to her from the door. No doubt he had already disapparated back home and was working on the bust that was his latest project. Deftly she manuevered her cart around a group of muggles who were completely oblivious of her. Shaking her head she came upon the wall between platforms 9 and 10. A smile leapt to her lips as she recognized a figure leaning on the wall across from the entrance to Platform 9 3/4. "Don't tell me you've been waiting here this entire time for me?" She teased. "Or are we contemplating the wall?" Quote:

The wall loomed ahead of her and Sarah knew that she had to run for it in order to get through the platform. She waited until the sea of muggles parted and no one was looking and she oh-so casually slipped through. She could smell it - HOGWARTS EXPRESS and HOGWARTS here I come! "Bye Muggle world, I iwll be back though" she felt like saying to the sea of cars parked at the station and soon she saw the scarlet train again. It was so different now that she was not a first year - she was a second year now |
Text Cut: Alexa Dylan walked through the muggle station with his parents (yes his mom was actually there after they made the point that she wouldnt be seeing Dylan for a while yet). He was used to all this muggle business since his mom was one, so he didnt find it all strange and new. He had been to this station before as a kid coming to collect his cousins and all, so he knew his way around here but that didnt stop his parents from telling him not to go too fast. He was excited he would actually get to see the train that he would be travelling on to get to his new school, but his parents weren't hurrying up! "Mom! Dad! Hurry up! I wanna see the train!" he called out to them as they almost jogged behind him "Dylan slow down! The train isnt going anywhere! You will see it soon enough!" his father called out to him before running after him and stopping him so that his mother could catch up "I said slow down! We know you are excited but that does not mean you bring attention to us, and that does not mean that you can go crashing into muggles and such when you lose control" he said looking at him. Dylan knew that he had to listen to his father with that look as he had been stopped, he looked behind and saw that his mother had now caught up "Sorry.. can we go now?" he asked rather impatiently as he resumed his journey to the wall again, this time at a more normal pace at which both his parents could keep up with him. Soon he got to the wall and saw a girl that he knew "Alexa!!" he called out to her as he stood next to her "Good to see you again" he smiled happy that he knew one person at this station apart from his parents.. and he was going to meet more on the train whether they wanted to meet Dylan or not! |
Jory checked about for Muggles before he leaned forward as he neared the wall. He had gotten use to doing this now and so he did not need to run now. Soon, he was standing on the familiar platform. There were the various sound of owls, cats and whatever else. Students were saying goodbye to families and greeting friends. Jory began walking to board the train while also looking for his friends. |
As Ariella and her father entered that station and reached the ever so famous platform 9 3/4 the only thing on Ariella's mind was getting rid of her father. She loved him and everything, but it was bit embarrassing and Ari was pretty sure she knew how to get through... "Dad it's alright you can go know!" Ari said quietly so she wouldn't draw anyone's attention, "I can do it by myself!" "Ari it's your first year, your only eleven. I can't just leave you here by yourself!" Her father looked around at the crowded station and rested his hand on her back. Ariella shook off his hand and rolled her eyes dramatically, "Please Dad!" Her father looked sceptical for a moment but finally gave in. "Alright, but be careful!" "I'm always careful dad!" Ari winked at him and made her way over to the wall. |
Text Cut: Dylan Text Cut: Ari She was sure that in the time she had taken out her father would have been able to catch up with the rest of her things and in that time a few other students had jumped through the wall. She watched in awe just waiting for her turn to jump...once of course her father and Amanda showed up, so that she wouldn't lose him and Amanda wouldn't be able to convince him to just leave her there and head home. While standing she heard her name being called. It wasn't her father...but the voice was familiar. Looking around a wide smile shot across her face when she saw Dylan standing with his mother and the man she assumed was his father. "Dylan!" She called back. Excited to see one of the new friends she had made down in Diagon Alley. "Good to see you too!" She was about to say something else when she heard her name being called again. Her smile got wider as she saw Ari making her way over to her. "Ari!" And now she had two of the friends she had made. This was even better. "Look Felix, our friends are here." She said, stroking the feline. |
Text Cut: Alexa Text Cut: Dylan Ariella smiled so widely at Alexa she thought her face would split in half. "Hey Alexa! Fancy meeting you here," Ari giggled. She caught sight of her dad watching her from the other side of the station in his orange bow tie and rolled her eyes. He still hadn't left yet. Ari stood up on her tiptoes and waved goodbye to him. She looked over at the boy and stuck out her hand, "Hello I'm Ariella Day!" |

His cart was loaded with his trunk and his owl cage holding his owl inside, and his jumper lay on top of it all. Glancing at the clock above the entrance he relaxed seeing he had almost a half an hour. Leaning against his cart he caught his breath. He'd been afraid he'd miss it! MERLIIINNN THUD Yep he'd forgotten to set the brake and now he was laying flat on his back. |

Text Cut: Alexa Text Cut: Ariella Dylan beamed at Alexa, well this was just awesome being here with at least someone you knew ready to go through that wall and see that train! He smiled as Alexa said their friends were here to her cat Felix, he looked at his cat Leo. Just then heard her name being called out and he looked round to see another girl about their age coming towards them, and then turning to say bye to a man he assumed was her father. She had then turned to him and introduced herself "Hello Ariella.. I am Dylan Jacobs.. DJ for short" cause it was way cooler than his whole name, he preferred DJ but some people |
Text Cut: Ari Text Cut: Dylan This was just perfect, now she knew for sure that she wouldn't be stuck alone when they got on the train because she had these two! For a moment she wondered of she would have run into anyone else that she had met down in Diagon Alley. It seemed possible with all these students arriving and zipping through the wall as if they had done it a million times. She looked down at Dylan cat and couldn't stop herself from making a big thing about it. "He is just so cuuuuute, Dylan! Where did you get him?" she had never seen another cat like that one before and his eyes were so hypnotising! Then she looked over at Ari. "So what have you been up to since I left you by that meanie of a fountain?" She would never forget just how annoying and mean that fountain had been--it got her soaked for no reason! Felix looked over at the other cat, clearly not amused by all the fuss his Alexa was making over it. It was just a stupid creature, what was so great about it? When he heard Alexa say how cute it was he hissed sharply at it. "Woah...calm down Felix, we're supposed to be nice remember?" She said, clinging more tightly to the feline in her hands. |

"DJ?" Ari smiled at him, "like one of those music muggle people?" She could remember seeing one of those at the Festival of Wright and thought they were the funniest people she had ever seen! Archer, her owl, screeched loudly at the sight of the cats and wobbled in is cage. "Oh shut it you stupid owl!" Ari grumbled, giving his cage and bit of a jostle, "So, excited about getting onto the train? We're so close to Hogwarts I'm getting jitters just thinking about it!" Ariella giggled when Alexa brought up the fountain, she would forever have a grudge again it... "Waiting around for today I suppose, Hogwarts is all I've been thinking about!" |
SPOILER!!: Quotes! He was still eyeing the wall with distaste and checking the time constantly. Well he didn't want to be late, but he was also too terrified of this wall. Looking up when a small person came over to say hello with a bright smile, Edmund couldn't help but grin back at her. "Hello!" He bit his lip at her question and stared at Nell with the smile slipping off his face at her teasing. Any other thing, he would have joked around, but this wall was actually daunting to him. "Lets say I was waiting for you." Yup, go with that. Nothing to it?! All Ed could do was stare at her until he heard a thud. Of course it had to be Isaac. Getting up, Ed just strolled over to him and offered him a hand. "You know, there are easier, less painful ways to get attention." Now THIS, he could joke about. He wasn't even going to think about that wall for now. |
Nell smiled at Edmund. "Waiting for me it is then. What a gentlemen you are Mr. Edmund." She batted her eye lashes. Quote:
Once she was satisfied the bird wouldn't die of a heart attack she set the cage on her own cart next to Soren. Nell walked up to the guy that had fallen and couldn't help the grin that crept across her lips. "We have got to stop meeting this way." She giggled. Quote:
