Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a latern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

The room was loud and bustling with people getting food and chatting amongst each other or taking orders but the little space between them seemed to have silenced out everything else and it was just the two of them. Kind of having a silent glare off.
He then stuck out his hand and said in a orderly voice, "This to meet you." Because they were practically strangers at this moment. They should start anew. Though things would not be forgotten.
Her violet eyes simply stared at his outstretched hand as the rest of her body remained perfectly still. It was almost as if his hand were some sort of poisonous creature and that if she reached out for it it would only bite her and cause harm. So, sorry Adam Burn. Kurumi had suffered enough over the terms to so willingly reach out for some sort of physical contact this quickly. Surely he knew that? Or was she still the overly innocent and quick to forgive girl that he had left Hogwarts knowing?
"Where have you been?" she finally asked softly, her eyes not meeting his. She would have added again to that sentence, but it didn't matter. Not really.
And no, in case he was still wondering. He could not have the other butterbeer.

His hand was there limply dangling as he waited for her to at least shake it. But Adam was on a negative roll on hoping Kurumi would "at least" consider small gestures. He'd never been left hanging there and he made an exasperated expression. Wasn't this going downhill fast? Somewhere in the back of his mind he sort of hoped she would at least have some little story to tell him. But Kurumi was downright cold today, and it wasn't because of the weather.
"I've been in London. Just going to some general college to get some classes. Then I'm gonna look for a music school somewhere in England." Yay! He was making headway.
"And uhh, how are you? How's your final year going so far?" Good boy. Good boy. Keep it simple. Keep it casual. Maybe he might actually get a decent conversation with her.

Yeah...Adam could put his hand down right now, because Kurumi wasn't going to shake it. She had never been a hand shaker to begin with and she certainly wasn't about to start now. Especially when Adam had shown up with such a smug expression on his face and was not sitting in the seat that should be occupying Lewis. Where was Lewis? She really wanted him to just come in here and literally sweep her off her feet and take her somewhere else.
But he wasn't. Unlike Adam, Kurumi wasn't going to run away from this. In a sense, she almost understood what Adam was trying to do right now. Hadn't it been what she had been trying to do with Jonathan at the end of last term? Did that mean that he... No, Kurumi didn't want to think about Adam possibly harboring feelings for her still.
"Still playing the drums then?" she asked casually, her violet eyes still fixated on her buttbeer mug. As to his question. "Probably doing the best I have ever been," she said, her cheeks flushing slightly. Despite a few...bumps and disappointments in the road...Kurumi really was happy and almost comfortable with herself. Only now she was becoming more and more uncomfortable with Adam sitting across from her. "Looking at universities now. Focusing on NEWT studies..."

Cold shoulder? Adam put his hand back on the table. Now he began to wonder if Kurumi would still be this cold with him if he had still stayed and not left? Or would she still be like this, cold as ice right now with him, even if he stayed? Whatever it was Kurumi wasn't going to give in very easily.
Well, at least she was still talking to him, right? At least she didn't call him an idiot in Japanese, cause he basically knew that word now. Or he was getting slapped by her. So it was a great improvement seeing as he had been gone for such a long time now.
"Yeah. I'm still playing them. Are you still baking?" Cue the stupid question reading card. She then went on about how well she was doing so far right now. "Good. Good job." He then realized he sounded sort of fatherly. So his voice changed suddenly. "I mean, have you narrowed down the list of universities?" Better.

Kurumi's resolve faltered for a moment and she sort of smiled at his comment about baking. Almost. Yes, she had changed, but that was something that she would never really lose. Even Adam knew that much. "Always," she nodded. "It...reminds me of her." Cue some lip biting. She was pretty sure that Adam didn't know about...that. Nor was Kurumi too keen on sharing that with him, the one who always ran away from his problems.
Good...job? THAT earned him a quick eyebrow raise and an awkward sip from her butterbeer. Kurumi shifted in her seat awkwardly, folding one leg under the other and idly drumming on the side of her mug some more.
"I...think I have..." she nodded. Romania. With Professor Williamson. She hadn't talked with Lewis about that, what all it implied for them. "It is the one with the best program for what I am interested in." Which was sort of...awkwardly ironic that it was connected to some crazy talk that her and Adam had once had about dragons and opening up a school.
"So...why are you here...in Hogsmeade?"

Was she barely smiling? Was Adam doing something barely right for the first time in many months? He assumed baking centered her and brought her to cloud nine. So that probably brought on the barely smile.Of course Adam remembered Kurumi mentioning how much her mother had brought to baking and how they always did it. "I'm sure your baking skills have advanced. You probably teaching all the elves new recipes for the feasts and all that?" He could imagine her sharing recipes with them and her helping the elves on how to make the sugary treat.
"That's good. At least you have a strong idea of what you wanna do. What program are you trying to get into?" He asked her in a very intrigued manner.
He couldn't help but smile when she asked him what he was doing here. He'd probably get hounded at her for not really being here for anything productive and just hanging out by himself. But he'd been free for some days. "Just hanging out I guess. Doing nothing. Try to see if I can find anyone I know from Hogwarts."

Hearing as Hogsmeade is finally opened for Hogwart's students to visit, Juliet made sure to cancel whatever it is that she'll be doing on a weekend so she could come check this place out. And right now, she's just happy that she did. There's a salon, a candy shop that she will visit for later when she needs to stack while studying for the exams or maybe while doing homework. There's just so many shops in here, Juliet can't wait to see what each has.
But first, she is hungry. She heard the other students talked about The Three Broomsticks and how everything there is just divine. So yes, she's visiting it first. She did make her way for a quick order as she glanced over to the menu. Oh... It all just sounds delicious. She wants to order one of each. But of course she didn't. She ordered pumpkin juice, grilled ham and cheese sandwich, and a brownie for dessert. If it is any good, she might just buy a box of it.
After paying for it she made her way to one empty table and chair. Food! Food! Food!

Window-shopping had made Ari feel tired. She had only bought a few extra quills and some parchment, but everything else had to wait because her savings were getting dangerously low. Okay, maybe a Chocolate Frog at Honeyduke's on her way back, but that was all. The chilly October air convinced the girl to stop wandering around and find a place to relax. Where better than the Three Broomsticks?
Ariadne walked in and noticed that the place was reasonably packed with students, but she still managed to find a table for herself, after ordering a hot cocoa to warm herself up. Once seated, she started sipping her drink, all the while keeping her eyes on the door in case her best friend walked in. Gwen probably had some shopping of her own to do, but they had decided to meet in Hogsmeade in the afternoon.
"Of course." She sighed and rubbed her head, "I didnt realize that a four-month old can have such an attitude but there she is with one." Elizabeth laughed and smiled, "I find it adorable most of the time.
Maxwell laughed. "Most of the time, and i'm sure it comes to her advantage that she's so cute....the red hair is still funny, it's a gene i'm glad i didn't get." He said with a laughing, thinking about himself with red hair.

Elizabeth smiled, "It does because she is too adorable to be mad at." She laughed, "As long as Puck doesnt try to turn her into a prankster because of her red hair or personality, I am fine with it."

Maxwell laughed. "Lucky, girl!" He said thinking it must be nice to be cute enough to get away with crap. He shrugged. "Maybe he would, but with that attitude of hers how do we know she'll even put up with Puck's craziness."

Elizabeth laughed, "You get away with some things too, dont cha?" She glanced at him, "If not then I will try to make sure you do." She smirked and chuckled. "I hope she wont put up with that insane person."

Maxwell laughed. "Yes, i do but that's because i'm sneaky..not because of my face.." He laughed. "I love you, Mom..." He said chuckling back. "Well, if she's anything like you i'm sure she won't."

Elizabeth laughed, "That you are." She smiled and kissed his cheek, "I love you too, son." She chuckled at what he said, "That is a good thing then."

Pushing open the door, Spike glanced round the room. It was packed with Hogwarts students - to be expected really, seeing as it was the first Hogsmeade weekend of term. After all, he was here making use of the time in town. Not spotting his companion amongst his fellow students, Spike headed to the bar and ordered a butterbeer - the only drink one should order when here, in his opinion.
Glass in hand, Spike bent over to take a sip before searching the room for an empty table. Ah, there was a nice one tucked away in the corner. He made a beeline for it, before anyone else could reserve it first, and plopped himself down on the stool.

Pulling her leather jacket closer to her, Cass entered the Three Broomsticks and headed for the already crowded counter to buy herself a mug of hot cocoa, a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and a bowl of assorted fruits that came with a chocolate dip. Curse the changing seasons.
After paying for her food, the girl looked around the packed pub and sighed dejectedly when she couldn't find a table to herself, just as she was about to return to the counter to have the food packed in a doggy bag or something, the blonde spotted a familiar girl sitting on a table - alone.
"Hey Juliet!" The seventh year said cheerfully as she walked over to her fellow snake "Mind if I sit with you?" Please, pleaaaaaase say yes! She didn't fancy eating her food while standing up.

Juliet began taking a bite with her ham and cheese sandwich. It's delicious. It's so good she's not even regretting that she cancelled most of her to-do list for this piece of heaven. Juliet loves it and wants to eat it every single day. Maybe she should get some to-go for later, yes? When she's done that is.
Hey Juliet
A familiar voice called out her name. Juliet's eyes glanced over to the person. Cass. Juliet grinned as she nodded to her when she asked to sit with her. Of course she can have the seat in front of her. Juliet likes the seventh year a lot and is growing fond of her ever since they have first met.
"Please, sit down" she said while her hand gestured over the empty seat. "How you've been?"
Jared returned the kiss and made off on his new mission.
[45mins later...]
The door reopens to the Three Broomsticks with Jared holding the door open for Wisteria. He guides her towards to the table, pouring her a new cup of pumpkin tea, "Drink this, it'll calm the nerves." Jared took his seat next to his wife. He looked at her and half smiling letting her know that things as onto a better start, but that it's still going to be difficult.
Wisteria sipped her tea avoiding contact. She was still upset and angry and wasn't in the mood to talk. On top of that she felt embarrassed, but refused to admit that.
"Hun we should probably get going soon to get Carolyn, what time is it now?"
Scarlett check her watch its 5 O'clock one more hour she said looking at wisty drinking her tea.Van i think you and wisty need to talk we need get going if her father lives far away.
Van nodded I'll talk her being the younger sister. She had to listen to Scarlett.Wisty are you alright and how was the talk she asked in concern.

Jared followed Scarlett's gave on Witsy and nuzzled her with his head. Aside from the the current situation he was actually quite eager to start this new family. Normally he would freak out, but already he's proved himself to be capable. "You're right, we should get going." He looked to Savanna giving that look like watch out for her.
Witsy could sense eyes looking at her. She focused on the sweet taste of warm liquid going down her throat. Can't it be hours from now so she could drown in a tub somewhere. Van started to speak to her and she could sense her blood starting to boil again. Why was she feeling this way especially to Van. She's in much pain and sorry as she is. But I'm the older sister I should be looking out for her, not the other way around. Witsy couldn't understand how she could be so calm. Our parents just died. Strangers have just come into our lives and are about to take us away from our home. She just didn't get it.
She didn't want to speak right now, but she wasn't going to ignore her sister. Witsy clenched her teeth and reminded herself to be nice. Van was only trying to help, she told herself, "I'm fine." she said slightly coldly. She didn't know where to go with the Jared incident, so she changed the subject. "Want to some place else?"

When the younger girl asked how she was, the blonde shrugged and answered with a laugh "I've been better. I actually tripped on some person's rememberal on the way here." It probably belonged to some Hufflepuff student. "Thank Merlin there was a pile of leaves to catch my fall."
"And you? This is your first visit to Hogsmeade, isn't it?" She asked before taking a bite of her still warm grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Yum.

Bye girls Scarlett said getting out of her seat carefully. We will see you at Christmas or sooner.
Van started to cry Sis I'm hurting really badly now.I'm good at hiding my feelings she told her sister.Sure she pick up her bag and hugged her sister while she was sitting in the chair.Wanna get some candy her Irish accent came out this time.
Minerva looked back and forth from Damon and Ariana, but she couldn't help but smile a bit as they tried to make her comfortable. "Well thanks guys, but really I am fine. I'm very happy for you two. "So Damon, why is she out of bed if she was knocked out for three days at Quidditch practice? I can't believe I wasn't told about this until now.." yes she was using the boyfriend against her friend, but if she was hurt she needed to be resting not hanging out. She then turned her attention to a question that had been sitting on her mind, "So how did this all come about, I know we talked a bit in the common room Damon, but when did this actually happen and why did it take so long to tell me?"
"it is weird." she looked at Damon across the table and smiled "but it works." she then heard the shopkeeper yellin & goin on about couples and junk and she looked around he couldnt be meaning her and damon casue they werent even Doing anything.. she hugged him once and poked him.. but that was it. she shook her head Nope he wasnt talking to them.

Jared got up with his wife. He walked over to the girls after he knew his wife was standing okay. "We'll see each other again soon," he reassured them. "Owl us if you need anything. We will owl you both in school, to check on you." He patted the girls on the back. He went over to his wife and held out his hand for her's, "Shall we?"
Wisteria was still numb. The tears started to come and so did Van's. She held her to her side. "I know, I know. Sure lets go get some candy."
Arms wrapped around Blue and she gave a little squeal. She knew she was adorable and all that but no need to attack her! Seriously. She managed to wriggle around and look at the culprit she stopped and suddenly a delighted scream came out of the child, loud enough to be heard all the way back in Hogwarts. She flung her skinny arms around her sister, shock still on her face.
"EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! IS IT REALLY YOU?!?!"
What if this was, like, a hallucination or something from lack of sleep. Not that she was missing out on sleep. She'd fall asleep, no matter where she was, at about twenty-five past nine. But she couldn't hug hallucinations. Who cared if this Eve was real or not.
SHE WAS HERE!!!!!
Evelyn laughed when the girl screamed in surprise and delight. The girl looked so excited to see her and that was the best reaction Evelyn could have hoped her. The girl kissed the top of Blue's head and hugged her again. It felt amazing to see the girl again. She honestly hadn't known how much she'd missed her until now.
"Yes! It's really me." Evelyn grinned before she kneeled down so that she was in eye level with Blue. She quickly scanned the girl's face and yeah.. She looked great. The tall girl gave a silent sigh of relief. She'd been worried about leaving the girl all alone at Hogwarts but Blue seemed to be doing okay. So, good.
