The Three Broomsticks
Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a latern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.

Aurora couldn't help but smile as Rich put his arm around her - it made her feel safe and happy and... well it was comforting. Especially when her brother was being such an insufferably over-protective idiot. Oh come on, Krys. Even you have to believe that... she thought, watching her brother with interest. Because if he didn't stop being so.... grrrrr... then he was so dead.
But then Rich was standing to go and get drinks... awww. She wanted him to stay with her... but then again they might be kicked out if they didn't actually buy something. So she grinned at him as he kissed her head, "Thanks." and then looked back to her brother.
Once Rich was out of earshot she kicked her brother under the table and scowled at him. "I can't believe you sometimes, Kryspin. You didn't have to be so rude to him." she hissed. Krys bit his tongue at Aurora's remark, in his opinion she certainly needed looking after - especially after the fiasco last summer. But it wasn't her he was dealing with right now. It was him. And in Krys' personal opinion he was doing pretty well at not getting annoyed at the kid. He even managed to stop himself from asking exactly how Rich thought he was 'thinking and acting.'
It annoyed Krys slightly that he couldn't see any signs of a lie as Rich spoke to him. Because that meant if he was lying then he was very good at it... hmm. Then again, it was almost beginning to reassure him that maybe the kid wasn't all bad. But he wasn't about to pass that judgement yet. It was like the boy knew exactly what to say - had he taken some sort of class in this or something? Krys wasn't sure how he wanted to react to all this yet so he just nodded once and waited for Rich to go and get drinks, trying his best not to scowl as he kissed Aurora.
"Ow!" What the hell was that for? Well, he knew what it was for, but still, kicking him? Really? "That was unnecessary, Rora." But then she was getting all annoyed at him. Why couldn't she see that he was just doing his duty as an older brother? "I wasn't being rude, I'm just looking out for you. You're my sister and I love you, okay?"
