Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a latern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Dylan didn't know what he was doing here...He'd just played in a beyond rough match against Ravenclaw...One of his star players laid up in the hospital wing...another suffering severe confidence issues...but here he was.
Probably wasn't his best idea...
...but the Slytherin was meeting her and hat changed things...
Why were his nerves all over the place? Why did he feel like he was going to vomit? Ugh. Coming was probably a mistake...
Sweet Merlin, he'd find out soon enough...

Yes, the sarcasm would continue since he replied like that. "So'm I. It was SO exhausting." And cold, but that went without saying. It actually was cold, so she didn't need to be sarcastic about it. When he looked at her, she raised an eyebrow slightly and smirked a little, almost challenging him. Was he going to get her back...? Oh, good, he did. She was about to start wondering if the last month and a half at Durmstrang had made him soft.
She decided not to kick him back though. For now.
Although at his next reply, Penelope was half-tempted to. "I don't see why it matters," she replied, raising an eyebrow again and shrugging. "I asked first." And he'd ordered and stuff last time. What was wrong with taking turns or something? It wasn't like...like they were dating and stuff. They were unfortunately just friends.
Ascanius shook his head with a little bit of laughter as Penelope dramatically went on about how tiring her journey was to the Three Broomsticks. He knew for a fact that just beyond the small village of Hogesmeade was her school. It was hidden by enchantments to the eye, but he knew that Hogwarts was around here. There were kids are Durmstrang with siblings there and he always heard them running their mouths. Also, it was sort of common knowledge that people could not get in and out of Hogwarts by magic, so Hogesmeade by logic had to be really close. Therefore, Penelope was just lacing on the sarcasm. It was cute. But she didn't push his foot back, which he was silently disappointed about. Not that he would ever say because he was all man.
She didn't see why it mattered? Well, he had asked her out to lunch. Not OUT OUT, but out to lunch. By the unspoken rules of mandom, he was now obligated to pay for the meal. Not that he minded. He didn't have much money to throw around, but when she accepted his invitation he had been sure to be plenty frugal with his money until he saw her. Not that it was anything huge or anything. It was just lunch between two friends. Two really good friends.
So he shook his head and insisted, "I invited you to lunch last time too. Let me pay, Penelope. Don't bruise my pride." Because it would be plenty bruised if she didn't let him be a gentleman. He was so charming, it would be a shame to put it to waste.
"I'm only what I was raised to be." Brodie smiled at her and kissed her forehead, "Though it's easy to be a gentleman for someone who's such an exquisite lady."

He wasn't going to let this go, was he? Should she point out that this wasn't, technically, a date, so he didn't have to pay just because he was a guy and a "gentleman"? Penelope didn't really want to say that though because if she did, then it officially, definitely wasn't a "date"...and she'd kinda like to pretend it was.... So...
She huffed softly but lightly kicked his foot again and smirked a little. "Fine. You can pay. For your pride." Which made him sound like a lion... Hm. "I'll take a butterbeer and..." She glanced at the menu. "...two grilled cheese sandwiches, please." So go get the food gentlemanly boy friend.

Saying her hair was a mess was an understatement. To be frank, she'd only wanted a ponytail. But when she remembered who she was meeting, her fingers happened and now she was stuck with some kind of weird braid. It was probably because she was still too hyped about their win earlier that day, yeah? That has to be it.
Seriously though, she wanted her hair too look a bit more decorous, yet she didn't want to keep him waiting so the messy braid it was.
After taking a deep breath, she stepped into The Three Broomsticks and saw him immediately. Really..it was always easy finding him. Not many guys had the same blonde hair.
She then set off towards him, plastering a smile on her face.
"Hi." the Ravenclaw breathed as she neared. He...wouldn't much mind the hair, right?

He was sitting there, over thinking the situation, as per usual, when he heard her voice behind him. For some odd reason, his heart jumped to his throat immediately. What was he so jittery about? It was just Bee.
Dylan didn't even want to think about what they were there for. He'd done a great job putting it out of his mind for the pass three weeks...No stressing about it now. Nope. None.
Sweet Merlin, the Captain felt like a female. "Hey, beautiful." He didn't even notice her hair. Dylan was a guy. Seriously...He didn't know about that sort of thing.

Tay sighed, "Sorry... I was trying to get away..." She glanced at Brodie then away.
Brodie looked at her and gently laid a hand on her shoulder before leaning close and whispering in her ear, "I love you too..."Please let that calm her down... And over protective family member kicked in, "I think that she made it clear that she doesn't want to be with you right now."

Tay relaxed with what Brodie said. She looked at Damon then Brodie then back to Damon, "Embarassament is over... so I am all good now... but thanks, Damon... even after I treated you right crap, you still protect me... I am sorry."

Beautiful? Ugh. That was very inappropriate right now, given the hair and all. Gah, why was she even so conscious anyway? It wasn't like she was trying to look good for him. NOPE. No matter, he didn't say anything about the hair so perhaps it was just fine, and she was merely over-stressing about it. And what was the over-stressing for?! Merlin, she was getting on her own nerves.
Shaking her head slightly at him, she walked over to the other side of the table and sat down across him.
ERM.
"Dy, thank you by the way.." Can somebody tell her why it was always so hard to look at him straight in the eyes? "..for the...uhmm..rose."
"I really liked it." She loved flowers, plus it was blue. And it was from him.
Tay relaxed with what Brodie said. She looked at Damon then Brodie then back to Damon, "Embarassament is over... so I am all good now... but thanks, Damon... even after I treated you right crap, you still protect me... I am sorry."
Damon nodded to Taylor as he sat back down, still keeping an eye on Brodie. So far he had no reason to trust him. Brodie smiled at Taylor and nudged his head back to their table.

He could see on her face that she was not so thrilled with his pushiness on the subject, but she was going to have to deal with it since Ascanius was not going to let her pay. It was the right thing to do when a person was on a da- friendly outing. And friendly outings clearly stated that the male attendee paid for the meal. This was one of the only rules he was actually going to abide by in his life because, even though he was admittedly a little too complimentary toward the ladies, Mrs. Hughes did beat into his head the importance of being a gentleman to a lady. Therefore, Penelope was not paying for lunch; so the sooner she accepted that the better off they would be.
Ascanius knew he won when he felt Penelope kick his foot lightly. As weird as it sounded, Penelope showed her affection or rage in the form of physical abuse. So the kick was actually her way of being affectionate-ish. The kick made him smirk a little as he pushed back against her foot. He started to stand up out of his seat to go and order when he paused at her own order.
...two?
Eh. The girl had an appetite. It was cute or something like that. So he just shrugged and went over to the counter to order. On his way back he slid into his seat and said to her with a smirk, "You, ma'am, have quite the appetite. You sure you can handle two...? Because I ordered you two of them."
Damon nodded to Taylor as he sat back down, still keeping an eye on Brodie. So far he had no reason to trust him. Brodie smiled at Taylor and nudged his head back to their table.
Tay ignored Brodie's nudge, "Would you like company, Damon?" She kissed her cousin's cheek and smiled.

"I would never intrude on a date, and also, I need to go anyways, promised Ari I'd meet up with her." Damon nodded and kissed Taylor's forehead before walking out of the restaurant. Brodie looked down at her, "So shall we?"

Tay frowned slightly and sighed, watching him walk out of the Three Broomsticks. She looked at Brodie, "Yeah... sure..." Taylor stood up and started for their table.
Brodie frowned and his phone went off, Thank the lord, end of this living nightmare... He looked down at the text from Rachel and gently turned Taylor's head to look at him, "I have to go Tay... but I'll see you around alright? Family emergency." Brodie kissed her lightly, "And I already paid for everything. So no need to worry about that either."
Tay nodded, "Yeah, okay." She frowned in worried. Taylor wondered what was wrong with her family because surely, it wasnt fake since they were dating... he even asked her today...
