Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a latern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Taylor glanced at him, "Well it was new years..." She shrugged, "I mean you are nice and all but I dont want to date just yet... maybe later if you want to but not right now, okay?" Tay looked down, a little embarassed.
"Taylor, you don't have to lie to me... I know that I'm not exactly your prince charming." Brodie looked down trying to act disappointed, "I mean, really, I'm just a lowly, nearly homeless guy who can't afford Hogwarts, and you... You take summer trips around the world. You live in a mansion, You have your beauty and everything else... I'm someone who shouldn't even be able to look at you..."

Tay stood up, offended, "Do you think I am that shallow?!?" She frowned, "I mean have you met Damon? He was a nomad and dirt poor before his father met my aunt." She glared and crossed her arms, "I dont care about money nor looks or where you live or anything like that."
Maxwell was getting very bored with this conversation about ruining old richy..i mean he enjoyed crushing his enemies as much as the next guy but they were in hogsmeade for the weekend, they should be having fun! Suddenly he heard a familiar voice and right as soon as his hand had been squeezed it was let go.
Min...Maxwell smiled at her as she ruffled his hair, normally he disliked having it played with but Min was an exception to that rule, the only other exception being Elliot. He put his red beanie back on his head. "Hey, Min...you're in a good mood today.." Which really meant it's nice that you're not trying to destroy my girlfriend...and Elliot was silent, he knew she was trying....this was awkward at best...he reached for Elliot's hand again.

Elliot just glared at ariana. If she thought Elliot would talk in front of Minnie, she was SADLY mistaken...SADLY. So she just cocked an eyebrow and frowned. Silent Elliot was a 'nice' Elliot, per say...when Minnie was around.

Well SHUT UP, minnie. Elliot cleared her throat.."We don't need your help, thanks," she said quickly, her voice sharp...and she shot her a cold look. LIke a bucket of ice. HEr voice was pretty chill too...almost like outside. She followed Minnie's eyes to Ethan's table...and she was squeezing Max's hand SO hard that she was probably crushing his fingers...but she was letting out her anger/annoyance through that..NOT her words...

Maxwell listened to Min talk about hexing Richard and chuckled a bit, but then felt his hand being squeezed. Ow..whatever, it didn't hurt that bad. "If Min's hexing people i want in!" He said wanting to do something awful to Richard...yes, that would be fun.
He heard the coldness in Elliot's voice. "Ell..she's just trying to help.." He said and glared at her as if to tell her she was crushing his hand. Was it this hard to control herself? If so she had no room to talk about his anger.

Find everything okay? That was sort of a complicated question. The streets were crowded and people were slow and everyone was being so intimate on the street that it made him want to kick them in the shin. But besides that? "Yeah, it was really easy. You're directions helped a lot."
Putting his hat on the table and ruffling his hair out of his face, he asked, "How 'bout you, beautiful? Find everything okay?" Obviously she did, but the smirk on his face translated that he was just being cheeky. He was good at that.
It was easy? Well, that was good. And she was glad that her directions had actually helped. She'd tried hard to make sure they were as accurate as possible, even using a book or two which had not been all that fun or interesting. It was downright boring really. But it was worth it. "Good," she replied with a smile.
And then of course he turned the question back on her. So Penelope smirked. "Oh no, took me ages to find it all, actually," she replied with a pretty clear hint of sarcasm. "Lucky I somehow still managed to get here before you, considering you were even farther away than I was." And just for the heck of it, she "accidentally" bumped her foot against his under the table. Not gonna apologize for it though. Ha.
"You want anything?" To eat or drink or both. SHE was certainly going to get something - that butterbeer was calling her name - but she ought to see if he wanted something too. 'Cause she was nice, y'know.

He had finished with his sandwich. Yum, he didn't know that this place had a very good sandwich. Sipping his butterbeer, Preston decided to order another one. Yup, he was hungry because he hadn't eat anything before went here. Dear Preston Jeremiah Davidoff, did you remember why you were in this place right now? Not just for have 2 sandwiches and butterbeer, right?
Oh yeah, he did remember that. A Davidoff would never forget something that related to music.
But speaking of, where's the Appleman? Ooops.. He meant Applebee. Yeah, the man that accepted him to be the keyboardist? This place was full of Hogwarts kiddies.. and he didn't saw others. Except..
His hazel eyes spotted a young man and woman and also guitar. Was it him? Maybe. But the tiny-25-year-old man would never know that unless if he asked him. Preston took the last gulp of his butterbeer, carried his portable keyboard (yeah, he brought his own ) and walked toward them. He noticed at the guitar who sat at a chair. Nice treatment to your instrument, dude! "Nice guitar, dude." Suddenly he spoke.

"That's alright," Mick commented about the cookies. "I'm in no rush to try gingerbread...Right now, my sights are set on chocolate chip cookies." He sat his menu down and order two orders of cookies for him and Ethan. "The cookies are on me," he added.
He lightly patted Ethan's back after telling him about the date and was happy for him, up until he saw his smile easing off. "Anything wrong?" There was a lot on Mick's own mind but he wanted to make sure that his friend was alright. And if there is anything wrong, he wanted to help resolve the issue. When their cookie order came by, his mind slightly wandered off to a euphoric state...The smell of freshly baked cookies gets him every time. It wasn't enough to keep Mick's mind off of everyone's girl probelms.
Why do I have to call it "problems"? It sounds so mean...
"Aw, thanks, man," Ethan grinned across the table as Mick ordered for the two of them. Chocolate chip cookies did sound rather good right about now..
The sixteen year old shrugged lightly and shook his head. "No.. nothing's wrong, really." He took a glance around the room and spotted Minnie out of the corner of his eye. He flashed her a smile then did a double take when he saw her sitting with.. Elliot? They seemed awfully.. chummy. At least from where he was sitting. Hmm. Leaning closer so he was sure that only Mick could hear him, he added, "Just sorta what we talked about earlier.. I mean, when you're really into someone, you should be only thinking of her, right? Every once in a while, the thought of someone else creeps into my mind.. not often and not when I'm with her, but sometimes." He shrugged. Maybe it wasn't that big of a deal, but it bugged him a little.
"Thanks," he smiled up at their server as the plate of cookies was set in front of them. Ethan helped himself to one and took a bite.. yum.

Yep. Just as Cece had suspected. This conversation was very awkward. Now that he had apologized... again, it was probably her turn to do the same. "I'm sorry too, for smacking you in front of everyone." Although he should consider himself lucky that he didn't get hexed. A simple smack was nothing compared to what she could have done with her wand.
Taller and prettier. The hair style is still there from the last time he saw her which is a bit long time if you asked him. More than half a year perhaps? "yes you did" he said but in a rather soft and low tone. Facing the table once more and yes, he saw those rolling eyes after his pat in the head, he continued "Grown up... It's both a good thing and a bad thing" good things will always fall on the fact that one may be able to use magic with complete freedom, bad, is because too much of freedom is not good at all. But Louisa is not the type to really use that much amount of magic in one day. He has lived with this girl for a week or so and she barely picked up her wand to do chores.

"I like it but i don't like hearing it" he said as he nudged his elbow to her. "None of that" because mister is just means old and boring and he's not old nor boring.

He looked at the menu that was in his hands when Louisa said she wanted something warm. "There's soup" tomato soup that is. Jonathan has tried it and it's delicious however, he's not a big fan of tomatoes. Or maybe some hot cocoa, yes, cocoa is the best solution to every cold weather. Except if you are not into chocolate which is a sad thing because no one could possibly hate chocolate.
Muggle pencil... Fact is, remembering all of these things right now made him laugh. "You were paranoid" he said poking her arm. It's true, the way she stared at his sketchbook, she looked like she was going to attack it or something. Nothing serious was inside it "It's not like there are secrets inside it. I just don't like showing my stuff to people" and Louisa was too aggressive which got to Jonathan's bad side. Good news about it was that, meeting Louisa was a good thing even if they start off with a bad start. Now just look at them.
Hogwarts are as usual crazy
That's not news to Jonathan "Other than the new head, what's going on around school this time?" but he's definitely curious about it. No more freezing students? Oh! and he did remember about the train stopping this year. Yeah, that was entirely weird.

Jonathan halted her by grabbing her arm. "I'll pay. What do you want from the menu?" he stood up and grabbed his coat. "Punishment for not telling you I came by" he smiled.
She didn't hear that murmur, and if she had she would've blushed to no end. Good thing she hadn't. But she nodded vigorously at his comment about growing up. "I'll say! People keep asking me about what I want to do after Hogwarts, do this and don't do this. Take a gap year, see the world. No, no, a gap year would drown your academic spirit. 'You can study and work at the same time, it's insanely tiring but productive'." She made sure to change her voice tone mimicking imaginary people, but those advises were actually given to her by many others, she just forgot who gave which advise. She also was bad at mimicking people.
Her mouth stretched into a grin when he skillfully caught the menu. "Yeah, I use it when I want to tease you. It'll be our secret thing, you know? When I'm annoyed with you and want you to shut up, I'll call you mister Jonathan Kim. When you're annoyed with me and want me to shut up, you can call me Miss Louisa Carter. Deal?" All friends had this code between themselves, usually without planning it out like that but they do. For example, Louisa would roar the fact that she's annoyed when it's Joao, while just sigh and keep silent with Adam. Paulie doesn't have this code, he'd continue annoying her no matter what she said or did to stop him... which was some kind of another code to never show him her annoyance and just let him think she's unfazed. So Jonathan too needed a code.
She was paranoid? True, but she wasn't going to admit it so she just stuck her tongue out. "I'm just an easily intrigued human being. I have the right to be curious, it's in my country's constitution." In fact, she had no idea such thing existed in UK's constitution but whatever. She moved on to the next more serious topic, sort of, and let out a siiiiigh. "Well you know.. we had fun celebrating the holidays in school, decorating trees and eating off a gingerbread house, then the common rooms threw us out and we stayed the night in the great hall." Again, SIGH. "It wasn't too bad, other than breathing already-used-up air, I got to be in a sleep bag next to Vickers." Snickering and slightly blushing as she said so.
.... oh. Very predictable from Jonathan. Louisa smiled shyly at him and nodded, "Okay. I just want a cup of butterbeer, extra ginger." She liked the punishment idea. Hehe. And back on her seat then waiting for her cup.

Jonathan laughed when Louisa just started to randomly mimic different types of voices. Seventh year and preparing for your next big step in life, "I know how that feels like" he said as he looked at her, calm and smiling. He too was pressured about this, especially because Alexander just had to be in each decision he has to do. And everyone is expecting something from him just because he's the next heir to whatever it is his family has. To add more pressure he is the first grandson or rather, the only grandson of the moment. "Took me also time to figure things for myself" he did get rid of the pressure and all that by hanging out with Louisa during the summer. And like everyone else, he didn't want to tell her something cliche. "New advice" he said tapping her shoulder "Do what you want. Decide for your own self because you're the one handling yourself, not them." it's the best he could give for her right now.
Mister Jonathan Kim.... Miss Louisa Carter? Is she bargaining with him? "No" he shook his head a couple more times. The thought of being called formally is not really exciting. It's just creepy and it sounds like they're in a cult or something. So yes, NO DEAL.

Really, Louisa? "intrigued human being?" he started saying the same things she said earlier "That's called paranoid" smirk. "the right to be curious? Paranoid and my country's constitution?" his voice raised confused at that last part. "Is there such thing?" of course there wasn't it. It's not even his part to ask her this.
Decorating trees. Juliet told him that bit and the gingerbread thing as well. Juliet practiced with him for his recital and she probably had nothing to talk about so she just randomly brought up Hogwarts. It's nice to know they were having a swell time..... WAIT!!!! GINGERBREAD right?!?!?! "When i was here there were no cookie events." he looked at Louisa with his eyes wide "It'd be perfect." Jonathan loves pastries and sweet stuff.

Whoah! Whoah! "You guys slept on the great hall?" his voice, confused. How was it then? Cold, right? But that's odd. Common rooms closed and they're all forced to sleep in the great hall. Something new and odd but it seems like Louisa enjoyed it after hearing that she slept next to Vickers. Pssshhhh. Love birds.
"Butterbeer with extra ginger" he repeated with a nod an walked over to the counter to order Louisa's drink. Took him awhile to come back to Louisa because he ordered more than just butterbeer. Walking back, he placed the tray into the table. "Just like you wanted" he handed her butterbeer with extra ginger plus grilled turkey sanwich with cheese, garlic bread and for Louisa's dessert....... strawberry shortcake. "I'd figure we needed to talk a bit more" he smiled as he sat down on his chair.
Logan made his way into the three broomsticks, shivering a little as the door shut behind him. It was FREEZING outside!
He stood there for a second, his eyes searching the place for Ameliah, but he didn't see her. He frowned and walked over to an empty table and sat down, slipping off his coat. He leaned back into the seat, taking a look around the place. He smiled. He was finally here, after days and days of waiting...he FINALLY got to see Ameliah's beautiful face. He was so happy. He looked anxiously at the door, hoping to see her walk in.

Ameliah shook her head as she walked into the Broomsticks. How could it be this could and NOT be snowing? Brrrrrrrrrrr.
Scanning the place for Logan, she found him looking antsy. "Missed me that much, huh?" she asked, grinning and hugging her boyfriend. After all, she did owe him a hug since she couldn't send one by owl. "I want next Hogsmeade to come sooner, or I'll just cut myself off from doing homework on Saturdays so I can come home and see ya." After all, Damon went camping with his family on weekends, so Am should be allowed to see her super awesome boyfriend. M-hm.
Tay grabbed his arm and pulled him back, "No. I want an explanation." She tapped her foot and frowned at him. Taylor was offended.
"Taylor, I really like you!" Brodie turned to look at her when she grabbed his arm and gently pulled it away, "I'm saying that the rich girl and the poor boy don't work out because they aren't on the same level."

She followed Minnie's eyes to Ethan's table...and she was squeezing Max's hand SO hard that she was probably crushing his fingers...but she was letting out her anger/annoyance through that..NOT her words...

Minerva couldn't help but smile as Elliot was short, "Well, I'm just saying the boy hurt my best friend, so I am all in to help if need be." She was enjoying how her just being there was to much for Elliot. Min could play nice very well so this was going to be fun. Grinning she looked at Elliot for a second then back to Ariana. Glancing at Ethan she caught is eye contact and smile. Oh such a cute smile. She felt her gaze stay at the smile for a bit then she saw him lean into his friend and talk. They weren't talking about her were they... She felt herself get a bit self conscious and she nervously pulled her hair behind her ears and looked at Maxwell blushing just a tad. Then a thought came to her mind, "Oh Maxwell, I haven't told you about the date." Oh yes, Elliot would love this.. Talking to her boyfriend all buddy buddy like they always were, and talking about a date with Ethan. "We went to the lake a sunset and had such a great time." she beamed at her two friends and well she claw..

Maxwell was a little distracted by his hand being currently crushed. He looked up to see Minerva blushing a bit and at first thought it was about him and was highly confused until he noticed Ethan across the room. Then she mentioned her date and he shook his head. "No, you didn't how did things go?" He asked distracted from the pain in his hand...
He gave Elliot a little squeeze to tell her to chill out before she broke his fingers...ok that was dramatic...but still she needed to calm down.
