Ethan gave Minerva a sympathetic smile. "Of course," he said, as he walked over to her. He could easily do a cleaning spell.. who would want to walk around with dirt on their face.. and at least it wasn't anything worse, though he'd take care of it if it was. "Scourgify," he commanded, pointing his wand at her face. "Much better," he grinned, seeing his spell worked for the most part. She would definitely be able to see now and probably wouldn't be tasting dirt anymore.

And Hufflepuff got second place? Well, that was somewhat annoying, yet relieving to the boy. Annoying because he was tired of degnoming, not to mention Ravenclaw might end up in last place.. and relieving because now he wouldn't have to worry about his girlfriend getting hurt from being too nice to the gnomes and she could sit down and recover from her dizziness.

And now to get Ravenclaw caught up.. seriously, how many more could there be? Finding a blue one seemed harder now, and he assumed that was due to there being hardly any left. The boy crept slowly along the garden edge.. was that a flash of blue. Ethan stopped and narrowed his eyes. It was blue! He quickly crept up on the gnome and, once directly in front of it, reached down and grabbed the top of its head. As he tugged on the gnome, he spotted Minnie up ahead with another gnome.. Wait, what was she doing? All the Hufflepuff gnomes were gone, right? Spotting the blue ribbon around its neck, the boy shot her a grin. How sweet of her...

Laura decided that she was going to try and catch a Ravenclaw gnome, she slowly and quietly crawled upto one and waited a few minutes for the right time, she hoped that the gnome would realise she meant business when she grabbed it with both hands by it's head.

Huffepuff had managed to beat them? Ugh! What was the world coming to? That was just not acceptable by any means. She glared at the remaining gnomes as if it were their fault. She didn't waste any time setting her sights back on a gnome to fling. She spotted one with a green ribbon around his neck and charged at it. There was no game plan or any sense of organization. She just wanted them gone. All of the green ones gone.

She made it up to the gnome in record time and without hesitation she had tackled it and the gnome was flat underneath her. She held on to it by the head because so far that method had not failed her. She hoped that it didn't give her any trouble because Slytherin had to win next and she was going to do everything in her power to make sure that happened.

Right...

... Kat WILL be degnoming these Slytherin gnomes out...

Alright, Kat, get to work. Holding the gnome by its foot again, Kat started to swing it. Then spin it. Round and round. Fast, of course. Until Kat was dizzy and pretty sure the gnome as well, Kat released. Baaaaaaaaaaaam! "That was far." But at least it won't return that fast as well.

Laura looked at the Gnome in her hand and started swinging it around and around, she really hoped that the gnome would get the message, she threw the gnome after swinging around like 10 times, she really hoped the gnomes would get the message and stay away from her, but first she had to find another one.

She was glad that the gnome was not giving her any trouble. Most likely it had heard from his other gnomes friends that it was not wise to mess with her. She popped herself up still holding on to the little gnome head. She glanced down at the creature and for a moment felt bad for flattening him out. She really didn't have to use such force. Of course she only felt bad for a moment because she was once again reminded that Slytherin was competing for third place which was a crime in itself. As soon as Hufflepuff beating them went through her mind her blood boiled once more.

She picked up the gnome and spun in around in circles. She spun, and spun, and spun. She was surprised that she didn't even manage to get herself sick. Once she felt like she has spun him enough so let him fly. She watched as the gnome flew off towards to forest. She was getting better and better at this whole gnome tossing business. She would even go as far as to say that she was enjoying herself a bit.

Hehe... Lily had managed to capture another gnome. Silly little creatures.

"Hey!! Kicking at me isn't gonna do anything... you're still gonna go flying." The third year said, staring at the little gnome before starting to spin. Around and around and around. Once sufficiently dizzy, the third year let go of the gnome, launching the creature way down towards the forest. Bye-bye little gnome... don't come back.

Hannah was actually starting to get tired and that only made her mood worse. Which was only bad news for the gnomes. She hated the feeling of failure. She had done everything in her power to win and that still wasn't enough this time. All she could hope for was third place and that in itself was depressing. Still she had to see it through. Maybe giving it her best would soften the blow a bit.

She took a deep breath and looked for another green ribboned gnome. They weren't even that hard to find now considering there were only blue and green ones left. She laid eyes on one that had a green ribbon and lazily went up to it. Her mood was showing in her hunting tactics. She did the ususal pounce and grab. Her hands were firmly on the gnomes head. She looked at it and pleaded with it solely with her eyes. It would nice if this one would go down without a fight. Maybe something could go her way.

So he may have messed up his pants today but he discovered that spinning two gnomes around can be quite the alternative to lifting dead weights. Not that he would actively be seeking out gnomes wherever he goes but its good to know these things.

As always a Ravenclaw would find something worth knowing even in the most mundane of chores....

With another sprint in the direction of the forest Vickers lets the first gnome go, flinging it over the trees and was soon followed by the other. There finally they were gone.

As sympathetic as he was for these creature!pests he was even more disgruntled with the day now that his pants got soiled. He made his way back to his things to take his wand and try to clean himself up.

How many gnomes has Hannah caught now? She wondered to herself how many there were left for Slytherin all the while her hands were placed firmly on the little gnomes head. Surely they had made a dent in the gnomes that wore the green ribbons. She sighed and looked down at the little gnome that was in her hands. She wondered what was going through its little gnome mind. "Whatcha thinking gnome?" What was up with her talking to creatures lately?

Trying not to think about what was wrong with herself, Hannah hoisted the gnome up and did the traditional spin with it in her hands. She spun around at warp speed until she was sure that the gnome was good and dizzy. She tossed it like a rag doll as far as she could towards the forest. She watched as it soared out of sight. She groaned at the thought of getting more gnomes. The spinning was really starting to make her stomach go in knots.

As he pulled the wriggling gnome from the ground, Ethan took a quick glance at it's growling little face. "Time to go, buddy," he told it with a chuckle. The boy held the creature aloft and swung it around his head a few times as he walked toward the wall. He figured the thing was good and dizzy at that point, so he gently tossed him over, watching as the gnome staggered away from the garden area.

Ethan shot a pleading look to the professor. Still not done? That made six for Ethan.. and he knew several other Claws were participating, not to mention a couple Puffs helping his house out. There couldn't really be more blue-ribbonned gnomes, could there? He wasn't sure where they'd all fit. But he was going to keep going till they were done.. and hopefully get his house in third place rather than last. He took another walk along the edge of the garden, keeping an eye out for any sign of gnome activity.

What was up with her housemates? Of course the Hufflepuffs would be helping Ravenclaws out. Hannah wouldn't be helping any other house out so she really couldn't complain too much. Despite her mood about the situation she still couldn't help but to want to win, and badly. So she set her sights out for another gnome that had a green ribbon. She was beginning to wonder if everybody in her house had given up. Was she making a fool of herself by still going on? Nope! She wouldn't think like that.

She looked around trying to find the gnomes. There weren't that many left...surely. She spotted on in the distance and made her way over to it. She hoped it had on a green ribbon because Hannah did not have the energy to turn around and hunt for a different one right now. Sure enough it had a green ribbon on. At least one thing had went her way this lesson. She threw her body weight on it too and laid there for a bit... resting and all. She placed her hands on his head though in case the gnome wanted to try any funny business!

Successful lunge! Max held onto the gnome by its ugly head, backed away from a nearby group of people, and began to spin quickly. For a split second, he thought about how crazy the degnoming process was and how... sad it was, almost, but then he came back to his senses. Gnomes were still pests. And he couldn't complain about the activity, really. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. It was like a fun little game. Mostly.

"See ya never, bud." With one swift movement, Max released the gnome from his spin and sent it soaring high and far over the fence. The Ravenclaw leaned toward the fence and listened for the distinct plop! on the ground of a landing gnome - ah, there it was.

Sweet victory.

After swinging Gretal and throwing over the gnome she heard what the teacher said.

So there were no more lion gnomes... Sarah decided to help the others by degnoming some of their gnomes. She grabbed a blue ribboned gnome. Her dad was a Ravenclaw and she was nearly a Ravenclaw too. "Hello R...achel" she said, decided on an 'R' name. Was this ravenclaw gnome really clever enough that she would be able to get away?

Still layed out on top of the gnome Hannah decided to lift herself up and send this little gnome over to where all of the other gnomes had been thrown. With her hands still firmly on the gnomes head she lifted him above her head. Yeah... she decided to change it up a bit. She hoped that she would be able to keep him up and not fall over because she was trying to show off. Well, not really show off. She was really just getting bored with the same old thing. Slytherin didn't win and she was starting to be over the whole thing. Still she rather enjoyed slinging the gnomes.

Trying to make the best of the situation Hannah once more spun the gnome around in circles until she was good and dizzy so the gnome had to be feeling the same. She released the gnome and watched as he flew off towards the forest... where his other little gnome friends were. She wondered for a moment if they would come back? There were enough of them to figure it out right? Although she couldn't imagine why they would want to come back for more abuse.

Minerva smiled at Ethan, "Thank you so much for the help." She was glad to be able to see again and was thankful that she probably looked a little better without dirt in her eyes, but she probably smelled from the Gnome poop.

Once she had the gnome with the blue ribbon she took it towards the fence quicker then she had the others and spun it around without talking to it. She was not giving it time to poop on her like the others. Once she felt the Gnome was dizzy enough she stopped spinning with it and tossed it over the fence. Turning she saw Ethan give her a smile. "Of course I'm going to help you out." She winked over at him, "Want to work together a bit?"

It seemed unfair that the Ravenclaw gnomes were multiplying while everyone else's gnomes seemed to be disappearing. Or... that's how it seemed to this particular Ravenclaw. She was frustrated, that was for sure, and so when she spotted another one with a blue ribbon trying to sneak past, Vivi launched herself at it.

"Mine!"

Sierra frowned as she realized the best they could do, at this point, is come in third or worse--dead last. What was even worse was that when she looked around, all she saw was a sea full of Ravenclaws and a few lone snakes wondering about among them. That didn't stop her from trying, though. If anything, it made her try even harder.

She scouted out the first green gnome she could and then took off after it. It was Sierra versus the gnome now, and no, she was not planning on losing.

In the middle of her searching she saw a gnome running across the garden like a mad person. She thought to run after it but a couple seconds later it just knocked right into her.

But she wouldn't question it. Nope. Instead she latched onto the little guy before he could get away and hauled him up by his little blue ribbon. "It's your turn to flyyyy!"

She took an extra second to eye the wall. Just how many had she hurled over there so far? This was getting out of hand and she could've sworn these things were multiplying!

No biting, scratching, or other wounds this time! Vivi stood up again with the gnome in her hand. She might have done a victory dance. Or something. Maybe. A little one.

"You have to go, little dude, and I don't want to see you back here again. These plants are under my protection now!" She spun in a circle, trying to make sure she wasn't within anyone else's circle, and as soon as she had enough speed, Vivi let that sucker go. Up... up... up... and OVER the wall.

That is how you do it.

Lex gripped held on tightly to the gnome and began spinning it around and around. Pretty soon even she was involved in the spinning but it wasn't until she felt closet to tipping over that she stopped. Good. By now he must have been thoroughly dizzy.

After steadying herself a bit she sent the thing over the wall without a hitch. Ugh. But now she felt terrible.

She needed to sit down for a bit. There was definitely such a thing as too much spinning.

Sierra finally reached the gnome she'd been eying and cornered it. Heh. It wasn't going anywhere, nope. She grinned at it, that evil type of grin where the one grinning knows something shifty is about to happen. Sierra raised her hand above the gnome and brought it down quickly.

GOT IT!

She brought the gnome to her eye level and grinned at it again. Then she walked victoriously over to the edge of the garden, ready to release the gnome. She raised it above her head, swung it in three circles, and then tossed it in the direction of the forest.

What was up with everybody helping out Ravenclaw? Hannah smelled a bunch of haters. Yup! That had to be it. They were jealous of Slytherins awesomeness. Didn't they know that Ravenclaw was in the lead when it came to house points? That just didn't make sense to her. She saw that Alexa was now helping Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin.

Not going down without a fight Hannah went on another search for more gnomes with green ribbons. She spotted one that looked like it was digging in the dirt. That was perfect. She could sneak up on it and have the gnome down on the ground before it even knows what hit it. She didn't waste anytime at all. She ran out full force and grabbed him by the head. She wondered if she could take out two at a time, but decided that it wouldn't be a good time to start. For all she knew she would get points deducted for even trying and that was one thing that Slytherin did not need.

Just a little bit closer...thats it.

And GRAB!

Gideon's arms managed to successful grab hold of an arm belonging to one Gryffindor gnome even as it reacted to his movement. "Gotcha!" he said, tighting it to as not to let go of it before he could release it out of harms way. The point wasn't to catch the annoying troublesome creatures but to actually get them out of the garden for Professor Bentley. So that was what he was going to do, or at least try to, regardless of what his captives attempted to do themselves.

He had to carry the gnome for a few feet, his arms outstretched to avoid any physical injury to himself. "Now don't come back now ye hear," he teased before launching it over the wall of the garden.

Sarah swang the gnome around her head, as if it was a flag of sorts. No, the Ravenclaw gnomes were in no way lighter then the gryffindor ones. Swing, swing, swing, Sarah swung the gnome over head. It was wierd helping others yet Sarah was either bored or just in a generous mood. She then let go of Rachel and watched as the gnome saild through the air and landed behind the line where Sarah had sent it. No bad, thought Sarah to herself. She was also feeling rather guilty about enjoying it - causing creatures pain, but whatever
