Jory had been hearing screams in his ears for the past few minutes but he hadn't actually looked around to see who it was until the person grabbed him. "Wha-- oh hey, Laura,'' he said. He grinned. "You look the a warrior- a Hufflepuff warrior.'' He winked. "The defender of Hufflepuff House.''

He smiled and nodded as Ethan chuckled "Yeah.. I guess it was.. cause we do want our girls to do well.. even if it is against our house" he nodded as he looked back at the match and saw Minnie getting ready to hit that bludger but it was that Oakey fella that got the bludger, so he was relieved.. that meant that one of the claws would get hit.. ONE OF THE CLAWS?!?!.. oh man.. he so could not watch this.. it was either a puff or a claw that would have to get hit by one of those.. in this case it was a claw right? Nooo.. it was headed.. towards the headmistress?! yikes! she really could not catch a break at these games. He turned back and watched as the two seekers were out in full force to catch a snitch.. after watching them for a moment he saw that it was that little puff squirt.. Alec? yeah Alec.. that got the snitch. Meh.. it was only the start.. and he kinda.. wanted the puffs to win.. but he wasnt gonna tell anyone that was for sure! He then watched some more as Ella.. wait Ella had the quaffle? Oh merlin!! she was going for the goal hoops "Go Ella.. you can do this.. GO ELLA!!! GOO!!" he screamed out and stands up as she SCORES!!! He jumps up and down "SHE DID IT! SHE DID IT!! I KNEW SHE COULD! I TOLD HER SO!" he said not being able to contain his excitement. He then looked back at the match as it got underway again, he the noticed that the beaters were out in full force again and they hit the bludger straight towards.... Ella? Oh no! He watches her get thrown forward "ELLA NO!!" he said as he watches her fly again.. phew! she was ok! He was glad.. man this was hard again!

Em couldn’t help but smile, and laugh a little at Lexa’s comment. “Yeah. The ground and I are best friends.” It was true, and the one thing keeping her in the ground apart lately was Max’s support. Pushing herself up and way from the girl, Em took a seat near her. Patting the girl on the head, the Puff said “Sorry” once more and turned back to the game… and frowned. When the girl mentioned her boyfriend, Em turned. “His name’s Max, you know.” Biting her lip Em studied the lion. “Is it like paint, paint, or magic paint?” She wasn’t sure if she wanted her face pingoed.

Laura waved at Professor Hadley and walked upto her. "How are you today?" Laura really hoped that the Professor was okay, whilst she had been talking to the Professor she had been keeping an eye out on the pitch, she really really wanted Hufflepuff to win. "COME ON HUFFLEPUFF YOU CAN DO IT!!" Laura screamed at the top of her lungs.

Laura giggled. "I'm sorry Jory." Laura hadn't realised who she had actually got hold off but well it was awesome it was Jory. "How are you today?" Laura looked at him and giggled. "I eh well I thought I should show off my Hufflepuff Pride." Laura was really looking forwards to shouting at the top of her lungs when Hufflepuff won. "GO GO HUFFLEPUFF GO GO!" Laura screamed and then took out her war paint. "Come on Jory let me paint your face!" Laura giggled.

Theo ignored everyone, until his captain joined him. "Would be better if it was us out there." He commented with a huff. At least everyone could see from the scrimmage match that they were still a threat. LOOK OUT for next term, basically.

He wasn't paying much attention to the match, since his sandwich was more interesting.

But....

Did Ella just get WHACKED with a bludger. Theodore almost choked on a bit of bacon. "EllLLa!" He managed to croak, still choking a little. The boy didn't see who hit the bludger at her, but whoever it was, was gonna PAY for it later.

Luckily, she managed to get back into the swing of things.

And seriously, if that Ravenclaw keeper blocked ONE more of her shots, Theodore would start throwing bertie bott beans at the players.

"Mancini puts the quaffle back into play and Greingoth takes it down the pitch, avoiding Branxton's rabid attack." GOSH VIVI! Remind us never to get on your bad side....ever! "Greingoth sends a loooooooong pass down the pitch to Ryans to then speeds down the pitch and passes off to Bishop who has recovered from her bludger hit." That a girl Ella! Ice cream for you later. "Bishop avoids Gracae and enters the scoring area...but her shot is blocked by James!" Seriously, both Keepers were just....brick walls today. It was incredible.

"OH! The Seekers have spotted the snitch! Will it be Summers or Stone?! ON YOUR FEET FANS! CHEER YOUR SEEKERS ON!" SEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! There it was. All gold and sparkly and over there tempting the eye to just look at it!

And was anyone else amused that both Seekers had names that started with S's? Seekers Stone and Summers? It was a tongue twister. Lots of S sounds.

"I'm great!'' Jory replied. His nervousness was now replaced with excitement as Hufflepuff was in the lead. But there was still a long time left in the match. He covered his ears as Laura resumed her shouting. "You'll be totally hoarse by the time the game ends.''

Paint his face? Jory looked at the paint. "Sure,'' he said, making up his mind. Why not do something new today? "Do your thing. Just don't get it in my teeth,'' he joked.

Laura looked at Jory and giggled, she was so enjoying today, he was going to let her paint his face, that was soo cool, Laura stared painting his face and then she giggled as she took out some black paint and put little dots all over his face. "You the Hufflepuff Bee." Laura giggled. "I want to here you say GO GO HUFFLEPUFF GO GO." Laura smiled. "And then say "I'm buzzing for us to win." Laura had just thought that one up it would be so cool if Jory said it.

"Go Vivi! Go Beezus!" Ethan cheered for the Claw chasers as they neared the goals. No score.. but good effort. That Keeper was awfully tough to go up against. Looking back at Harvey, he nodded. "Yes, definitely.." He did want Minnie to play well, even if he didn't want her team to win.. if that made any sense. And he was pretty sure Harvey thought the same about Ella..

Speaking of.. He grinned over at Harvey as she scored and politely applauded the other team. Not that he really wanted the Puffs to gain in points.. but he knew his housemate would be pleased and he was happy for him. Peering out at the pitch, he watched as Minerva flew towards the bludger again. Standing from his seat, he cupped his hands and yelled, "Go Minnie.. get that bludger!!" He wasn't sure who hit it.. but he did see who the bludger hit. "Ouch," he cringed with a look towards Harvey who was visibly upset.. but thankfully the girl seemed to be okay.. "I think she's alright," he said, with a sympathetic smile towards Harvey. Although now he was only more anxious to anticipate more injuries..

Snitch snitch snitch sniiiiiiiiitch! Kurumi really wanted to just keep her attention there, but there was other stuff going on on the pitch that needed her attention as well. "Castell has the waffle and zigzags past Wheatborn. WOAH! Where did that bludger come from?!" And where did the quaffle go...OH! There it was! "Ashby catches Castell's pass and Gracae takes a swing at the bludger for Ravenclaw...SHE MAKES CONTACT AND...."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

The stands were a mess as Bliss came crashing into everything and landed on Laura. Kurumi fell out of her seat again, knocking over the mic and sending a SHARP and LOUD static sound into the air, and fell in a ball to the floor. Scrambling to pull herself together - THE SHOW MUST GO ON! - Kurumi instead just grabbed the mic and from the floor announced... "And Mancini blocks another scoring opportunity from Ravenclaw."

Because she had MISSED everything else due to a Bliss coming and saying hello.

Now...where was the snitch at?!

Mmm.

Another match, another no.

You would think they all rehearsed their answers too 'cause she gave the same response as the others when she'd ask. "You suuuuure? I mean, look how pretty it is...it would suit you much better you know." It totally would. Blue made everything look better.

She glanced back at the game when the Professor did. It wasn't looking so good anymore. "Come on Ravenclaw! You still have a chance to win!!" But more importantly. "GOOOOO VIVI!!!


Oh. Merlin.

The girl was made for the floor, wasn't she? Pity. "Bestfriends huh? Well er...who started that friendship...you or the ground...?" She couldn't think of anyone who'd wanna be friends with the ground. It was just so far from the top. Ahem. About the paint.

"It's just regular, wash it off with some water kind of paint. I was looking for some other kind but couldn't find any." Not that anyone would let her use any other kind on them. For some strange reason they all seemed to be against paint. Weirdos, all of them. She sighed as she looked back at the pitch. "I know his name by the way, I was just saying..." Her voice trailed off as she thought of an idea. "We should do a wave for Vivi Ravenclaw!!"

"Hey, listen up everybody!! We're all gonna do a wave for Raveclaw, okay?" She yelled above the noise of the cheering spectators. Waves were fun. Very fun. "Who's with me?!"

Jory burst out laughing when Lara said he looked like a Hufflepuff Bee. "Thanks for making me the official Puff House bee.''

He laughed some more at what she said next. "You just want a shouting partner,'' he said with fake seriousness. But he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted anyway. "GO! GO! HUFFLEPUFF! GO! GO!'' The badger paused for breath. "I'M BUZZING FOR US TO WIN!'' He looked back at his friend. "How was that?''

Hearing her name, Penelope turned and saw Alexa not too far away waving at her. She smiled and waved back at the younger lion. "Hey Alexa!" And it looked like they were both cheering for the Claws? That was good. "Just the house in general, I guess," she replied. She couldn't think of anyone who was on the team that she was really good friends with, so she wasn't cheering anyone in particular. "My mum was a Ravenclaw, and I know a couple others who were too that've graduated." So that was mainly the reason why she was supporting the eagles over the badgers. "What about you?" Any particular reason she was cheering for them?

And then...suddenly a Hufflepuff was crashing into the stands. Merlin, that wasn't good. Penelope knew first hand what colliding with the stands was like, even if she'd had West there to sorta break her fall.

Laura was like helping Jory put on his war paint and so she didn't see who was coming into the stands to say hello to her, well that wasn't nice, she ducked at the last minute but she had hurt her hand, she knew this because when she fell she landed on top of it and heard a snap, well that wasn't very nice of the person. "OAKEY I'll GET YOU BACK FOR THIS." Okay so it probably wasn't Oakey because the Person didn't have a bat, but she still was going to blame him, everything was his fault, she looked at her arm and sighed it was hurting like crazy.

He smiled at Ethan.. he and the boy were getting on well.. ok.. so maybe he wasnt so bad afterall, he did really seem to care about Mins and he wasnt too bad. He nodded as Ethan agreed with him, he probably wanted the puffs to win too secretly inside of course cause thats what Harvey wanted. But he didnt tell people that he didnt need people all shocked at the fact that he wanted the puffs to win when he was a claw. He smiled as Ethan supported Mins in her beating abilities before it had hit his girl.. he nodded again "Yeah.. she is a strong girl.. always has been" he said to him as he remembered all the times he and Ella had joked about her noodles arms that were strong in their own little way. But he was now more prepared hoping that she didnt get hurt again.. cause once was enough.. twice was just mean! He saw Ella go for the goal and he stood up as he watched her shoot aaaannnnnddddd... it was saved "GOOD TRY ELLA.. YOU WILL GET IT NEXT TIME!!" he said smiling and nodding.. he then saw the bludger hit a puff who went straight into the stands and into Pixie.. Pixie! He then heard her announce again and knew that she was ok.. he then looked back at the game.

Okay, mic went on the table. Kurumi went in a seat and not the floor. Hair was going out of her face...

Once Kurumi sort of got herself back together, her violet eyes scanned the pitch to try and catch up on any action she may have missed while being down. UG she hated coming into the middle of plays and missing details. Her perfectionist side was driving her nuts this match. So...could all players please stay ON their brooms out out of the stands, yeah? At least until the match was over anyway.

Okay...where was she...

"Ryans catches a pass from Bishop and enters the scoring area and...SHE SCORES FOR HUFFLEPUFF! The score is now --- " OH SHINY DISTRACTION....COMING THIS WAY! "Stone and Summers are in hot pursuit of the snitch!" ZOOOOOOOOOOOOM! See, there they went right over head! Kurumi bent over backwards and ended up CRACKING her back to keep her eyes on the pair while avoiding their broom's tail bristles at the same time. "They reach out for the snitch and ---"

Erm....boys. The snitch was gold. Not pink. Stare.

"They both reach out for the snitch and toss the pink ribbons of the Headmistress into the stands.THEY ARE BROOM HANDLE AND BROOM HANDLE!" Instead of neck and neck, get it? Okay. No more bad puns. Kurumi was terrible at them in English."BUT IT IS SUMMERS AGAIN! SUMMERS HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH FOR HUFFLEPUFF! Just one more and they win the Championship! But don't underestimate Stone! Stones are known for making quite the epic come backs in tight spots!" Kurumi knew. She had seen it happen more than once. "Also, please be sure to return those to hair bows to the Headmistress!"

“Probably the ground. It’s like a magnet or something.” I didn’t matter where she was, the ground always pulled her towards it. Climbing in trees, attempting to fly, walking. “Regular paint? Then sure, you can paint my face.” When the girl said she knew his name Em nodded and resisted the urge to tell her that she should use his name.

Em shook her head at Lexa’s suggestion to do the wave. Her eyes were back on the game, and it wasn’t going too well. Sliding off of her seat, Em sat on the ground, and covered her head with the towel. She couldn’t watch.

Laura looked at Jory and sighed, her hand was really killing from who-ever it was falling onto her, that wasn't a very nice thing to do. "Your welcome." Laura was clutching her left hand, she was fairly sure it was broken because she couldn't move it, but she wasn't going to let that stop her cheering for Hufflepuff with her now mascot Hufflepuff Bee, she was Hufflepuff Badger, she had made herself a badger. "We need a Hufflepuff car and then we have a set." Laura giggled that would be awesome. "Some one like Brum!" Laura giggled. "GO GO HUFFLEPUFF GO GO."

"Laura!'' Jory the bee exclaimed. "Are you alright?'' Poor Laura, she almost got into a bad collision but she managed to dodge it at the last minute. It was the he noticed she was holding her hand. "Do you need to go to the Hospital Wing or anything?''

Then part of the commentary caught his attention. "We just caught the Snitch again!'' he exclaimed. "Go Hufflepuff!!!!''

Okay...no more mic knocking over and stuff. Had anyone found the pink ribbons yet? No matter.

"James puts the quaffle back into play with a pass to Branxton. She zooooooooooms past Greingoth and Ryans - who seems to be nursing that wrist of hers - and passes the quaffle off to Castell who shakes of any Hufflepuffs that may try and catch her. She passes to Ashby...Ashby makes a quick change of direction and throws Mancini off balance..." NUUUUUUUUUU! Just don't fall off Logan! "Ashby shoots...AND SCORES FOR RAVENCLAW! The score is now Hufflepuff 100 Ravenclaw 20...but with the snitch still to be caught it is STILL anyone's match!"

And speaking of the snitch...

Kurumi jumped to her feet suddenly, completely ignoring the talk about a wave happening in the background and, again, dropped the mic knocked over the mic. Not even bothering to pick it up just yet she simply pointed to the skies and shouted. "THERE IT IS!"

"Ooooohhhh." She nodded as she listened to Penelope's reason behind going blue for the match. "My Mother was a Hufflepuff...but..." She eyed the pitch again, watching the blur of yellow and blue flashing about. The game wasn't going to way she wanted it to go at all. "I don't...I can't see myself cheering for them--I like some of the people on the team though!" So clearly it was the house in general and not the people within the house that she thought made it difficult to ever really root for them.

"I'm actually cheering for Vivi, but she's a Ravenclaw so by extension I'm cheering for them too. I'm cheering for others too but really my screams are for my Mama Vivi." Nod.

She whipped around immediately when she heard a loud crash. Whoa....Bliss! She wasn't hurt was she?!

Yaaaay! She was gonna make her paint her face. This time she was the only yes the 11 year old had gotten and she would have felt dejected and all but before she could the girl simply sunk to the floor refusing to watch the rest of the match.

"No no. If I have to sit her and watch Vivi's side lose then you have to watch too!" She declared. It wasn't exactly very easy to sit her and watch the puffs dominating, especially by such a large margin but if she could do it then so could Em!! "Come on! I'm sure Max would want you watching him play." Couples like weird stuff like that, right? Right. Therefore the girl needed to put on a brave face and watch.

Grabbing hold of her arm, Lex tried pulling her back up.

Laura looked at Jory and giggled. "I'll be alright." Laura smiled, she wasn't going to go until she knew what was happening. "GO GO HUFFLEPUFF GO GO!" Laura just hoped that Jory knew he would have to escort her out of the stands at the end of the match because she wasn't touching anything with her hand.

Emmaleigh let Lexa pull her back into her seat. It was easier to move back into her seat than try to ignore the girl's poking and prodding. She couldn't watch though, so she rested her elbows on her legs and hid her face in her hands. "I can't watch." she muttered, trying to ignore even Kurumi's announcing.

The minor chaos in the stands was hardly a distraction for Ethan as he kept his eyes on the pitch. There were far too many things out there for him to be focused on and he was up on his feet again. Both Seekers were after the snitch.. and Hufflepuff only needed one more to win. But his eyes were on Minerva again as the Beaters converged on the bludger. She really was a good Beater, constantly chasing after that iron ball.. but one of the Claw Beaters got to it first and he watched in horror as it was hit towards the Hufflepuff girl.

“Minnie! Nooo!” he yelled towards the pitch as he lurched forward, clutching the railing and he watched her tumble off her broom. Oh, she had to be okay, he thought panicking.. but she seemed to be well enough because before he knew it she was back in the game.
Trying to calm his nerves, Ethan glanced over at the Seekers again as they converged on the snitch.. also trying to keep an eye on the rest of the action as Minnie seemed to be in the middle of it again “Hey!” Was that even allowed? He scowled at the Ravenclaw beater as she swung her bat at Minnie’s broom.. weren’t those only for the bludgers? Cringing as she now flew toward the stands, the boy rushed over in her direction. Oh, and apparently Hufflepuff won, he vaguely heard. Good.. now it was over and he could make sure his girlfriend was okay..

"If you're sure,'' Jory said. "Tough girl,'' he thought as he turned his attention back to the game. "I'll go with you to the Hospital Wing if you want when the game's done,'' he added.

Another Snitch catch from Alec?! That means they won! "Go, go go Hufflepuff!'' he shouted. "We won!'' he shouted to Laura as if she couldn't see what was going on.
