On the front of the office door is a plaque which reads:

Professor Bentley is a very busy woman, but if you're lucky enough to secure an appointment with her one of the first things you will notice when you enter her office is the aroma. The air is filled with the sweet scent of peppermint tea and flowers. Oh no, you won’t find trowels, dragon dung or dirt in this room, everything is presented in a neat and orderly fashion. The office is decorated in earthy brown tones with hints of pink, green and yellow making the room feel very homey. In summer a light breeze will be drifting through an open window, whereas in the cooler months a fire will be roaring in the open grate fireplace. Behind Professor Bentley’s desk on wall by the window is a large cork board. On this board you will see a collection of photographs of family and friends as well as the occasional note about classes or homework. This includes her very dashing fiance Aron Ashburry-Hawthorne and another of her good friend and colleague Professor Hadley. Along this photograph is one of her handsome, on-again, off-again boyfriend -- currently on again. So feel free to come in and take a seat on one of the plush and comfy stools- mind of course you have permission to enter. Don't worry too much about the small bundle of fluff that flits in and out of the room, or lounges at your feet, Caltex doesn't bite. Just be sure your laces are tied, otherwise you might find you wont have any left by the time you leave.
And be careful as you enter... the potted Fanged Geraniums by the door like to play occasionally.

Aurora finally fell quiet. Trust a Ravenclaw to have more questions. Smiling, Seren nodded, allowing the girl to continue.
Magical plants in the muggle world... it could be done. As for something that wouldn't require Ministry regulation, concealment or deterrent charms.. "Puffapods are pretty good, just so long as you keep them indoors or hidden when they start dropping their seeds." Preventing public explosions of flowers was always very important, but essentially, Puffapods were perfect. "Or be sure to have them low to the ground with something soft beneath them so that when they call they don't bloom."

Quickly jotting everything down, Aurora looked back up at Bentley as the Professor remarked that she could have some seeds from the garden. "Oh thank you. I hadn't realized that I could do that. I suppose that I was just too timid last year to ask you about it."
She smiled a little thinking back over her first year, "I guess that I still have a lot to learn."

Gliding over the Hogwarts grounds, the tiny patronus arrived at Professor Bentley's closed office door and leaped through the wood and into her office where it bound over everything and came to a stop on the desk where it turned around in circles a few times before settling in a standing position facing the woman. "Professor Bentley," came Kurumi's voice from the tiny creature. "Please come to the Tower Patch as quickly as possible. Somesort of flesh eating plant has taken Professor Burbage." And then the little silvery hedgehog leaped off the desk and began to bound towards the door, expecting her to follow.

Seren had been in the process of marking and beginning to think about writing up reports, when a patronus leapt through her door. "Well I never... " she gasped, eyes wide open with a mixture of fear, remorse and a hint of excitement.
Leaving everything where it was, she rushed out the door, running in the direction of the castle.

Please make an appointment via owl. Pfffft. Emmanuelle didn't have time for that, since whatever Professor Lafay had grabbed her for seemed urgent. Otherwise, why would she have grabbed her at random in the Entrance Hall? Anyway, she started knocking urgently at the door to Professor Bentley's office. "Professor Bentley, the Headmistress and Professor Lafay need to see you in the castle as soon as possible!" Yep, urgent.

She'd gone up to the castle, only to find that the astronomy tower had been evacuated, perfect... so now, after returning to get a few supplies, including some healthy decent sized scraps of flesh, she was prepared to head back and find this plant... after all, anything green with leaves that had an appetite was her forte.
It was just as she'd reached her door that she heard the knocking. Opening it swiftly, Bentley looked over the Slytherin girl. Needed? SHE was needed. Well OF COURSE she was needed. "On my way already," she nodded, giving the girl a brief smile before closing the door behind her and leading the way back to the castle.
