Arabella-Marie laughed and said "You'll get better at it Orr and well it takes practice to get better at things" Arabella-Marie walked to where her ball was on the hole and putted it straight into the hole and noted that was 2 shots to get to the hole

"Oh well done." Orr wrote down Arabella's score in the little scorecard that they were given. "OK, let me see if I can also do the same." She took the putter and lined it up with her ball and swung it more forcibly than the last time. It was a little too much force as she lost her balance as she swung missing the ball completely. She landed hard on her knees, "Ow, that was too much." She got up slowly a little in pain. Fortunately, she was wearing her pants with the fashionable pads so she was just a little bit bruised. "I really suck at this game!"

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Well try again Orr i am sure that you will get the ball in the hole this time"

Orr brushed herself and smiled at Arabella, "Thanks." She lined up the putter to the ball and gave it a light tap- the ball went rolling straight up one of the slopey hills of the replica scale and into the hole. "YES!" She did a little dance and turned to Arabella, "thanks for that-- it does seem that the third time is the charm." She wrote down her score and they started walking towards the second hole which so happened to be a replica of a Dutch muggle windmill scene, "Oh how nice that they are using muggle things don't you think?"

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Yeah it is pretty nice Orr and i think i go first again"

"Sure," Orr nodded and waited to see how Arabella would get the ball through the little opening in the structure of the windmill with the movement of the little flaps going around in circles which mean that one had to concentrate to get the ball through without hitting one of the flaps.

Arabella-Marie smiled and placed her ball down on the starting bit and looked to where her ball was meant to go and gave it a good enough tap to get through the hole without touching the sails of the windmill and smiled as it went through the hole to the other side of the windmill

"Oh you are very good!" Orr exclaimed as she wrote down Arabella's score before taking up her position to try. She placed the putter next to her ball and then stared at the windmill's sails going around and around, after a minute- Orr puttered the ball gently with a little force. The ball rolled towards the windmill and Orr held her breath as it neared the structure and just rolled inside narrowly missing one sail.

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Thanks this is the first time that i have played this game"

"I wouldn't know that by the way you've played," Orr told Arabella as they walked to the third hole. "Your turn."

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Well i guess it comes naturally to me and cool" Arabella-Marie looked at the third hole and sighed this was going to be tough and placed her ball down on the starting point and hit it and watched as the ball stopped a third of the way down the hole

Orr smiled and wrote down the score, "So far you have four points and I have three," She stepped up and placed her ball on the starting point and tapped it lightly and to her surprise the ball rolled straight into the hole.

Arabella-Marie looked at the score and where her ball was and said "Well i don't think i got my ball in the hole cause it only stopped a third of the way down the hole"

(OOC: I'm sorry but I have to run. I've got a family party to get ready for. It was great rping with you! We should do it again sometime.)

Orr glanced down at the scores and replied, "Oh. I hadn't realized so that means that I have four points and you have three? I'm a little confused." She laughed.

Opening the manual Leobald began reading. The pointy-ended stick he was holding was called a 'putter' and the idea was to putt golf balls through the different courses into a hole. It sounded simple enough, but could he hit a ball?

When Seren arrived he had just closed the instruction manual. "Hey Seren! I think so it seems pretty straight forward." Gesturing towards the course ahead of them Leo asked "Would you like to play a round of mini golf with me?"

That probably should have been expected, yeah? Eggs didn't do much. They could just... roll. But if Eggbert had been in the box the whole time, he had probably just been in the box. Nothing exciting. But at least he was safe. What horrible parents he and Penelope would be if they let their egg get smashed.

She didn't have anyone to play with? Jake stared at Penelope for a second before shaking his head. "Rubbish. That's what I'm here for!" Did she really expect him to not want to come all the way down here and not play?

"You remember how to play, right?" He asked with a small smirk. He had worked so hard on teaching her how to golf over the summer... so she had better remember. Heh.

A grin appeared on her face but she rolled her eyes as well. A little thrill of pleasure went through her. She hadn't thought she would like his little nickname for her but it was growing on her. "Food takes texture, shading, and detail. Detail is the easiest to learn. Then we will add shading and then texture."

His contrite expression didn't fool her. Acting the haughty princess Nell walked to her ball and gave it another whack. It sailed through the last few obstacles and rolled right over the hole coming to rest a few inches on the other side. Sighing she walked to the blasted purple sphere and tapped it into the hole.

Bending down she retrieved the ball. Turning she started off to the next hole. "You coming handsome?"

Eleyna was still pretty new to the school, not to mention she didn't know alot of people...to be quite honest. She felt like she out of her comfort zone and that scared her out her red headed mind!

In this precise day she wanted to try put the mini golf place, that she has heard about. She wandered off on her own and felt a bit lost. Luckily she spotted a young girl and went to her, for directions of course. "Uhmm...do you know if this is the mini-golf field?" Eleyna said in. Her light, broken British and American accent. She added a smile, as that was her trademark look...and not forgetting her every day use of redlipstick on her lips.

...That was what he was here for? Penelope raised an eyebrow. "Wouldn't you rather play with your girlfriend?" she replied stiffly. That was what a girlfriend was for, wasn't it? To hang out with and stuff? After all, Jake liked Anya more than he liked Penelope, so why on earth would he want to hang out with her now? Why was he even still talking to her, especially now that he had Eggbert?

She did nod though in answer to his question. Of course she remembered how to play. She wasn't THAT forgetful. At least not about things she cared about.

Of course. Food had to be awkward and hard to draw. "Okay, so when does that come in the lesson plan?" He looked hopeful, really wanting to learn. He wanted to be able to surprise her with a drawing and have her say 'That's really good!'

Chuckling as she didn't give in to his attempted remorse, he noted that she played better when she was actually feeling like there was a challenge. He liked that. Her words jolted him from his thoughts and a grin spread across his face. Handsome? He liked her calling him that. "Who're you talking to?" He strolled over to her happily with his ball and putter in hand.

What with the Duck Pond being gone, Alec didn't know where to spend most of his free time. He didn't want to sit inside because, well, the inside got a bit hot and stuffy and boring after a while. And he couldn't sit by the lake all day long because... just because. And now he was...

WHAT IN THE NAME OF SUPERMAN'S SUPER SENSES WAS THIS?!

Alec blinked HARD. No... no, it wasn't a dream. He was at a Mini Golf Course? Mini Golf?! BLINK. This. Was. Awesome! He could come here EVERYDAY if he had someone to play with. ... The lake wouldn't get jealous would it? No! No no no! And the Duck Pond didn't need to know about this either.

But, as he got closer to the course, a scary thought entered his mind and made him stop in his tracks. He... didn't really know how to play Mini Golf. Well, he did know the rules and had played it once or twice before on his games console back at home but... he had never actually physically played it before. Yeah... this was going to be hard, wasn't it?

The third year walked down to the grounds, she had heard from other Hufflepuff's in the common room that there had been a mini golf course at Hogwarts but no Duck Pond. That didn't really matter all that much because she had other been to the duck pond once or twice last term before she left in the half of the year.

She was a pro at this, it was really the only thing she was actually good at. She was alright at Quidditch but that was all really. Adeline walked down in her golf attire. She wore a white t-shirt with a color, a bright neon green skort and some what and green sneakers. If you want to win you have to at least look the part.

Adeline got closer to the course and say someone that she knew really well...well it was the back of his head...she knew the back of that head really well. Partly because she would stare at the back of that head during class in her first year when she still had a thing for Alec. *blushes* She had to take charge of this amazing moment she had. A moment to scare the heck out of Alec. Adeline got closer to Alec and poked him in the sides and yell...

"BOOOO!"

So...he thought he could insult her then give her a smile to make everything alright huh? Well she wasn't amused. It wasn't her fault that she couldn't give the ball a good whack and actually now more than ever she was just itching to take a swing at him with her putter. In her head the scene was pretty funny, she could even see a nice bull's eye on his forward....ooooo...or an X. That was supposed to mark the spot, yes? "I know I didn't hit anything." She stated, rather matter-of-factly. "Apparently if I were to really hit it I'd be breaking some rules--and what do you mean by that." Referring to his little comment about girls. She began running her hand along the putter, one wrong answer and she was going to change the rules of the game known as mini golf to something a bit more...hands on...

She watched his ball travel closer to the hole than hers had gotten. Figures. People like him weren't use to using force so they could cope without it, while she was absolutely pathetic at this being gentle thing.

Ahhh, not the sportsy kind...weird...she thought most boys were into that stuff. She thought to question it but realized the way she would have phrased the question would have made her come across as being rude--which was the farthest thing from what she was trying to be so she dropped it. "Yeah same here. I saw the nice putter and the wide open space and thought it'd be a lot of fun." Of course she clearly misinterpreted the signs because this wasn't the place for her kind of fun.

Hm..second year Slytherin...hearing that made her find it hard to believe that they hadn't started arguing by now. With the exception of Seri, Lex didn't get along well with the snakes at all! "So you're a snake...pretty decent one too." She mused. "I'm a first year Gryffie." Was that going to be a problem? Hmmmmm?

Straight forward? Brilliant. He could coach her through it then, after all, reading was manuals wasn't entirely up her ally. "I'd love to!" she beamed, because frankly it would be much more entertaining if she wasn't playing by herself.... was playing by herself even possible? COULD one simply play... by themselves?! If so, the game should be made illegal. Rivalry was where it was at.

"Though I'll admit, you'll need to guide me through the in's and out's of the game." Hopefully this wouldn't scare him off.

Leobald grinned."Splendid!" Perfect now he had a partner for a muggle game which he had never before in his life played. It would be fun to play a game of golf with Seren he could already feel it and they hadn’t even entered the course. Pointing to the putter he asked "Have you got yourself one of these pointy-ended stick things called a putter? We need them for the game."

Smiling he nodded "Sure, I don’t mind at all. The object of the game is to putt a golf ball through the different courses and into a hole in as few strokes as possible." Leobald explained.
