Sutton had been doing a lot of wandering on her own lately. She was having trouble making friends, as always, but that was honestly no one's fault of her own. She just... didn't talk to people, didn't really try to get to know them. She hadn't really met many other students in her year as most of them seemed to be either older or younger than her, but that was okay. Sutton had a big family, so she could pretty much get along with anyone of any age assuming she actually opened up her mouth to talk.

As she neared the hot spring, she thought that perhaps this would be a good place to just sit down for a little while before making the treck back up to the castle. Scanning the space around the edge of the spring, she saw that there was already an older girl sitting in the best area available for relaxing. At first, Sutton was disappointed and thought that she'd just sit somewhere else, but then she pursed her lips in determination. There was no reason why shouldn't just go sit with that girl. Maybe she needed to make friends too...

Taking a deep breath, Sutton walked over to the girl and smiled her best, most polite smile. "Um... hello! Would it be alright if I sit here with you?" She asked in that sweet voice of hers that showed her most genuine, kind intents.

Damon winced, a third stab... Well, they always said the third times the charm... He stood up and stated to walk away from her. Hoping, he knew, in vain that she'd ask him to stop... But knowing had she the choice he'd been expelled so she'd never have to see him again.

Tay sighed when he got up then muttered in a low enough voice that she thought he couldnt hear but who knows he might of, "I miss you a lot... but I am too afraid..." Taylor tilted her head back, to soak her hair.

Damon looked back for a moment, thinking he heard her say something, but then walked away, "I'm going to miss you Taylor..." He said loud enough for her to hear. He walked away so quickly, he didn't notice that the locket had fallen out of his pocket, and was now floating in the water in front of her.

Tay saw something drop and saw that it was the locket. She picked it up, looking at it. Taylor opened it to see the pictures then closed it, putting it around her neck without thinking.

Yawning Isaac decided to head down to the grounds and see what all the fun new stuff was this term. He'd liked the topiary garden the year before, and in his fifth year the tree house. So he was excited to see what they had this term! Walking down he saw a hot spring! WOW, awesome! He knew he'd want to take advantage of that a few times, not right then, because he was just checking it out but hey, definitely soon!

He rubbed his eyes and blinked himself awake as the sight of the hot springs came back into focus. He really could go to sleep, in fact he really wanted to go to sleep. How was he meant to sleep at night when he was just far too excited about what new things he was going to discover the following day. The previous night he had sat up in his bed, reading one of his textbooks until others he shared his dorm with complained. After that he had laid down and stared up at the ceiling, thinking about things.

"I'm just.." He yawned widely. "Really sleepy today. I couldn't sleep last night, I was too excited" he chuckled slightly, blinking once more until he was satisfied he was awake. He was so happy he'd met Bliss, he'd seen her more often than anyone else and she had been a really good friend to him so far. "What's a better thing to do than sleeping?" he asked grinning. Other than eating, or watching magical creatures play, especially when they were youngsters

So there was SO much more of Hogwarts to see, and it was fun exploring it all! But Edmund's mind was somewhere else. It was on his girlfriend and best friend. What HAD she said to him?! Not knowing was really frustrating him.

Yes! He'd finally found him! "ISAAAAAAAC" Ed ran right at his best friend, arms wide. Yes, he was going for a tackle!

Stretching his shoulder out again, he was relieved it had been healed earlier that day and was feeling much better. Finally! He hadn't been all that happy that morning when he couldn't even move it! Hearing his voice being called he turned around and saw Ed running at him.

Right before they both ended up in the hot spring.

YAY. This was AWESOME! But OOPS. Ed totally hadn't seen the hot spring behind Isaac. And it was too late to abort!

Well this was short notice. Standing up, drenched from head to toe, Edmund pulled a disgusted face. "Uh, sorry." Yeah. He really was. "I... wanted to talk to you. And swim, apparently." He raised his hands and looked at the spring he was currently standing in.

Laughing he stood up once again shaking his head as water flew off a bit and threaded his fingers through it, "Well I wanted te check it out, jus' wasn' planning on being fully clothed." Yep oh well, the water was nice anyway.

Laughing again as he said he apparently wanted to swim too "Well 'tis a bit shallow fer a swim. What's up?"

"I would have checked it out if I knew it was here." Ed answered defensively, not paying attention to the water dripping off him. "It is a bit shallow." he agreed, frowning down at the water. Hm. He shook his head slightly and ran his hand over his face to get the water out of his eyes. "Uh, I kinda owe you an apology." Kinda? Well, that was an understatement.

Wading out of the hot spring Isaac sat on the bank and took his shoes off and socks off and took his wand out to dry them out. "An apology? Fer what?" he asked curiously, looking back over at Ed. Did he mean at the platform from the wall? Or maybe on the platform, where Isaac had been with both girls? He didn't mind either. The first one was sort of fun. Hehe. The second had been a challenge but he would have done the same no matter who was injured.

Oh, yes. Getting out of this spring would be a good idea. With an apologetic smile to everyone else there, Ed followed Isaac with some difficulty. His robes were so HEAVY in water. Ugh. He sat next to his best friend and set about pulling his own shoes and socks off. "Uh, my reaction to you getting me through that wall. I really appreciate it, though I didn't seem that way at the time."

Ah ha! Ok, his first thought was right. "Well everyone has a fear, some worse then others but we all have one." he said shrugging, "I figured the best way te get ye through would be surprise." Yep, not because he really wanted to tackle his best friend, which he kind of enjoyed but to make sure Ed got to experience Hogwarts! He'd always wanted to go there he'd said! "I'm jus' glad it worked!" Using the hot air charm he started drying out his shoes now that his socks were dry. Then the robes would probably be a good idea.

"Yeah, well that's a stupid fear. Especially for a wizard." If he couldn't go through magically altered solid objects, he was pretty stuck in the wizarding world. "Yeah, that WAS a surprise." A BIIIG surprise. "Thanks, Isaac. And I'm sorry." There. Over and done with. He put his shoes and socks aside and took his robe off to reveal his drenched shirt and trousers. Since Isaac already had his wand out, Ed looked at him. "Could you..?" he nodded towards the wand. "Oh, and I have one more thing I want to ask."

Making a face he shrugged "Guess no worse then me own." Meh, now he was sure Ed would ask what that was! Sigh, him and his big mouth. Smirking he nodded "Yer welcome and 'tis alright, jus' wanted te help." And get hurt in the process, heh. He was just glad it was over. Though he was curious as to what would happen when they got back to that barrier after they finished their term!

Nodding "Sure can." Dropping his second shoe back on the grass, he took the robe and started working on drying that out too. "What's thet?" he asked curiously again.

Ohhh, reaaaaaally? Edmund was curious now! "And that would be?" It'd be useful to know, right?! Right! Seeing the smirk didn't improve his mood. Ed narrowed his eyes at him before remembering he was apologising. OOPS. His expression changed to contrite, and he nodded. "I know. Appreciate it." He really did.

"Thanks." Ed pulled out his own wand and waved it at both himself and Isaac, drying them off and then sending warming charms their way. Darn, that felt good. "Uh, Nell mentioned something about saying something to you on the platform after the portkeys... what did she say?" He wanted to knooow!

"Blood." he muttered as he dried off the robes. Yep, stupidest fear ever, though he had a darn good reason to have that fear! It was the one reason he'd never wanted to go back to the Grand Canyon. He just couldn't bring himself to go there after that had happened! Nodding he glanced Eds way when he spoke. But Isaac didn't say anything else because it was said and done, no need to say more.

That definitely felt good when Ed sent a warming charm his way. Passing the robes back to him, he grabbed his shoes and took care of them too, before sitting back. He was thinking on the question Ed had asked. "I don' really remember. She said something about ye bein' cute and thet she liked ye." Biting his lip he stared out at nothing really trying to remember. "And thet she didn' want chocolate because she had ye though ye didn't know it yet. but then she went off about ye being taken by a pink princess."

Bliss smiled slightly. It was clearly evident just how tired he was with the amount of eye-rubbing he was doing. "I bet you were," she agreed, nodding. She was like that on her first few days too! Bliss looked at Terry carefully and thought about what she'd be doing right now if he wasn't here. Probably more wandering around, being bored and lonely. She was very glad he was here. "Hmm, well one thing is right here. The hot spring," she exclaimed. "Come with me," she said, grabbing his hand and tugging him towards the spring, before dropping his hand and wondering what was getting into her.

Well, that was a strange fear. Especially for someone who aspired to be an Auror, but then again, Ed couldn't really talk. "Fair enough." He wasn't going to ask why because plenty of people had that fear. It was a relief when he was forigven though, he'd felt about it for a while and now that weight was lifted off his shoulders.

"Thanks." Ed took his robe and put it back on. "These things are ridiculous." He prefered his old uniform. He reached for his shoes and once he was sure they were dry, Ed put them back on while listening to Isaac. A grin spread across his face. "So THAT was why she didn't want to tell me!" Of course! "Well, I dunno if you know, but we're a thing now." A proper thing thing. Aww, she prefered him over chocolate? He was definitely going to remember that one. "Yeah, she explained who she thought the pink princess was." One eyebrow raised in disbelief. He still couldn't believe she'd thought that.

Thankfully Ed didn't ask for more information on how the heck he could have a fear of blood! How the heck could Isaac know? He just hated the feeling of having fainted when he saw it. Meh... Disgusting thing blood was really.

"Yeah, but they're quite nice in the winter, don' need a jacket most of the time." Well then again Isaac wore like the thickest jacket he could find in the winter because he couldn't handle how cold it was here. Not even after 2 years! And he called himself a Scottsman. HMPHH! Shrugging at his response. "Must haf been if she didn' tell ye thet." Though he didn't get the chocolate thing. nor the pink princess "She definitely appears taken with ye though!"

He pulled a face once more. "I prefer my old uniform. This is too... billowy." Was that even a word? Like he cared. It got his point across. "But I suppose if it means I don't need a jacket." Ed shrugged, trying not to show that he was impressed.

Isaac's responses had Edmund wondering if he was really listening. He'd just told him that he'd officially made Nell his girlfriend and he'd not even blinked. A confused frown crossed his face for a second before it smoothed into a self satisfied smirk. "She does. It's nice, you know?" Obviously Isaac would understand, he himself had a girlfriend!

Shrugging "It took me awhile te get used te the robes te. We didn' really wear robes in Egypt unless it was fer a special occasion. But never robes this heavy and big." Nodding he grinned, "From where yer from yeah, it'd be nice. Me on the other hand I wear the heaviest jacket I can find."

"So was it the kiss?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows at him. Yep he'd encouraged Ed to kiss her, but never had found out if they had or not. "I'm happy fer ye. She definitely appears te be a nice girl." He was happy for his friend though, having a girl there was always nice, it was fantastic at times, and others made you just sit there and stare like what have I done. But most of the time he loved it!

"See, that I can understand." It was hard to go from a hot place and wearing light clothes to going to a cold place that required heavy robes and coats. He counted himself lucky that he'd not experienced that. It was the other way around, Edmund just wasn't used to having a piece of clothing with so much movement, it was usually too heavy to move. "Where I'm from?" He grinned curiously at Isaac, wondering what he meant. Did he mean where he was from, or where he'd been living?

"Totally. You're a matchmaker." A snort escaped him, but he became thoughtful for a second. "You know, I got three kisses that day..." It was funny how they'd gone from a chance encounter to pen pals and now to this. "Thanks. She's a great girl. So laid back." It was great to have a girl around that he was comfortable joking with.
