There is a door you pass every time you walk along the sixth floor corridor, but it's usually locked up. And will be again. Not so now. It even has a new sign attached, put there by Professor Magnus, instructing you as to what it's for.

Hung around the necks of the mannequins are little signs with a name on - your names. They won't be needed for the last assignment of term, but the pile of paper plates on the side table will be.
Homework Task One: Create a top/jumper/sweater/t-shirt (Summus Vestis)= Completed
Homework Task Two: Create a skirt/trousers/shorts (Summitto Vestis) = Completed
Homework Task Three: Create a pair of boots/shoes (Pedestis) = TBD
A table is now situated off to the left side of the room as you enter, with paper plates on and an old-fashioned muggle camera - the only sort you'll be able to use in the room. Please do not touch it until you have completed your homework, and only then to take one photo of yourself to pin to the corkboard above the table. Thank you.
OOC: As we are doing a task that will cover all three lessons, so too will the homework. This thread is where you MUST RP whatever I set for you. The dummies are to be used to complete your homework assignments - like you're a fashion designer, say. ^__^ Please try NOT to double/triple etc.. post in here. Now Belle had a few questions..."Now did you have a specific style in mind for your heels?" Belle asked. It was always better to be safe than to be sorry.
As Minnie showed her the drawing she made, Belle was happy. "It is perfect, i love it so much." Belle was a fan of lilacs and the color purple. It was a perfect combination. Belle encouraged Minnie, "Well we do not always get it on our first try, i know i won't. Trust me i will fail."
Minerva laughed when she said girls were cautious about being taller. "Yeah I think they are. I just like it once in awhile. Don't get me wrong, I love my comfy tennis shoes as well." Minnie looked at the sketch some more, "Honestly, I really like any style of shoe so any form of heel would look great I think. Maybe pink since the shirt is pink?" Minerva wasn't great with colors at times, especially when it came to matching shoes with outfits.
Being glad Belle liked the shoes Minerva went back to trying to get the spell to work. She tried to concentrate harder on it. Looking at the sketch then looking at the plate. She pulled her wand up and tapped both plates, "Pedestis." The plates formed into the shoes and Minerva smiled. They were very big, but at least they were the shoes. Looking at Belle she smiled, "Well they aren't your size, but at least I got it to work." Pointing her wand back at the shoes she changed them back to the plates. "Once your ready I will have you slip your shoes off and stand on the plates so we can make sure they are your size."

RUN RUN RUN RUN. Oh no, the Transfiguration homework was given probably daaaays ago and Kat just had the initiative to start it just now. Merlin at least she wasn't late and she had enough time to finish it. This will be okay, Kat told herself. Inhale... exhale. If she was going to rock this homework room then she'll have to be as calm as she could. Take away all the stress which is impossible.
When the girl reached the room, she placed her bag on one of the desks inside the room. She took her wand out of its holster and tried to look for a place to start her awesome spellwork. Right, she was going to need a partner. This was so stressful. She hated partner work, especially at the last minute. In search for a partner, Kat looked around the room. "Helloooooooo," she said. "Anybody need a partner?"
Loneeeeeeer.

Not a problem! This time she would even have a little help from her friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiend, Ella! Yay!
Walking into the room where all of the dummies were, Sophie took a good look around. The paper plates were....... ah! Over there on the table with the camera! Cool! "I'll just move my dummy to a better spot!" She told Ella as she walked over to where a mannequin with her name tag was. She knew they wouldn't need the dummies this time, but it would be best if Ella took a good look at the outfit before thinking about some shoes to go with it, riight? Right.
"Here, look." She said as she pushed her dummy forward a bit. "I'm glad I don't have to come up with shoes for it, hehehe!" Sophie liked the spell work, but was still not that enthusiastic about being a fashion designer. So boring! But anyway, she would have to think about some shoes to go with Ella's outfit anyway... oh well.
The fourteen year-old went to the table to get some paper plates for the both of them. What was the spell again? Pedestis. Pedestis, pedestis, pedestis. The girl kept mouthing as she grabbed the plates and went back to where Ella was. And the wand movement was just... a tap. Right? A tap on each of the plates.
It'd be better to check the book to make sure........ or maybe not.
Homework timeeeee! Which normally wasn't Ella's favorite thing to do but this was cool homework AND she got to do it with her best friend. That made this particular assignment quite special. Mhm, it did.
The small blonde followed Sophie into the classroom and watched as her friend decided to move her dummy. "Oh, that's a good idea!" Cause that way they could see the outfits better in order to create the perfect shoes! BEAM. "I'll move mine over as well." And she did, painstakingly. They weren't particularly heavy or anything but Ella was quite weak so it took her a few minutes of pushing and pulling the thing across the room before she was back to where Sophie was standing. Cue a sheepish grin and a wave of the hands over the outfit she'd created. "Taaa-daaa!"
Oh and Sophie's outfit was quite nice too. Ella grinned from her friend's design to her friend and back again, impressed. "Soph, this is awesome!" And very Sophie-ish if Ella said so herself. "I'll have to do a lot of thinking to get the perfect shoes for this one." And she would think up the perfect shoes, she would!
While Sophie went to grab the plates, Ella decided to practice the incantation. Best to be prepared, yeah? "Pedestis...pedestis....pedestis" That was right, yeah? And then you'd have a wicked pair of shoes for your outfit? "Pedestis...pedestis...pedestis." Sounded right to Ella. She'd have to double check with Sophie, though. Her best friend was better at this sort of thing. Good thing they were working together. Grin!

Lex was such a slacker around this time of any school year. It was like a tradition or something; one that she wasn't willing to break despite being at a new school so while everyone had probably already gotten the shoes done and out of the way she was only now sauntering into the homework room like a boss.
Her nice walking died when she saw people there...partnering up...? Oh yeeeeaaaaah! Crap! She knew there was a reason she shouldn't have procrastinated on this one. Did anyone even need a partner anymore???
Oh? She looked further into the room and saw that Kat girl. NDBKJDJ! She needed a partner too!!!
"I do!!" She needed one badly.

Belle had an idea. "Alright since you like pink, i will make it like that and maybe put stars on them." Belle said as she sketched it down. "There is your sketch!" Belle held it up for Minnie to see. She hoped she liked it.
Belle then tried her take on the spell. She put down the paper plates and was going to concentrate on this spell. She took a deep breath and looked at the plates. She said, "Podestis...." Whoop that was the wrong way to say it. Belle laughed and blushed and then said it correctly. "Pedestis!" she said confidently and it was turning into the shoe. Belle was smiling and was happy.
Then Minnie said she was done with transforming her shoe. Belle beamed and said, "Of course i will put my foot in there. I would like them to be my size. I want to keep these actually. A gift from my bestest friend." As Belle tried on the shoes, they were kind of big, but Minnie did a great job. A little spell by Minnie should fix it. As Belle was trying on the shoe, she was thinking of her own heels she created. "Um Minnie try on your heel, i do not know if it is your size."

PANIC MODE. Kat would've ran around the room in search of a partner. Anyone, she would go with anyone! She was just so desperate for a partner right at the moment. Oh gosh, this was one of the reasons why she hated partnering up with people both in class and in others. My, my, my. It was a whole lot worse cause this activity was homework. NO.
Deciding to give up, Kat's attention was caught by someone. A voice of a young girl... HOLD THE PHONE. The voice was rather familiar. The blonde looked at her right to see Alexa Cambridge, partnerless. Well that was a surprise. She usually partnered with Wheeler but I guess her detention with Lafay wasn't finished yet? Or maybe Wheeler was just... lazy. Heh. Whatever. But seeing that she had no choice, she should just take the Lion as her partner. "Alright, alright," Kat said calling her. "We should start as soon as possible." Yeah, and her sketch was supposed to somewhere... Where did it go...?

It was only slightly obvious to Alexa that the girl didn't like her but at the moment she didn't really care. She worked with a lot of people who didn't like her on a daily basis and if she was being honest it only served to make the work more fun...for her anyway.
Wait what?!
Kat actually agreed without scowling first or giving some kind of snide remark. If nothing else, this was improvement. Lex nodded her agreement at the girl' statement. The sooner the better. "Yup! So will you be making my shoes first or should I get started on yours?" But then she had another question. "I don't remember what your outfit looks like," or her own for that matter, "do you have the sketch with you?"
That would make things a lot better and it would mean they wouldn't have to go looking for those vicious, man-eating mannequins just for a refresher course.

If there were only more people to partner up, Kat wouldn't have chosen Alexa. Really, she didn't want to work with one of the people she dislikes. ESPECIALLY since Alexa, in Kat's opinion, was very annoying. But today she didn't seem too annoying and that was a good sign. Maybe she was panicking as well since she came to the Homework Room late like her. Well, darling, that is procrastination.
A sketch? "I have mine in here," the blonde said as she searched her pocket for the two parchments she tucked inside earlier. It didn't take long until she found it, though. Then the girl gave it to the young Lion. One parchment had a sketch for the shirt and the other parchment held the sketch for her skirt. Well, if she wanted Alexa to make her outfit look right then she should give it to her. "How about yours?" Where was your sketches?

Lex watched curiously as the girl began rummaging through her pockets for the sketches...it got her wondering...did she even have hers on her? She wasn't even planning to do the homework today, she was simply walking by the room and remembered. Mm. It better not be back in her common room because though it was only an additional flight of stairs it was still climbing and therefore still not gonna happen.
When she found them Lex took them and had a look. "Wooooow! These look neat!" And now she could remember the girl wearing something like this on the fake runway of terror. It was all coming back to her.
Kat asked a very good question afterwards. Where was hers? She thought about it for a moment before plopping to the floor with her bag and searching through the heaps of parchment and books that were thrown about inside. "Here you go!" She held up the parchment that had her shorts then pulled out the one that had her shirt.

Kat felt awkward when she gave her sketches to Alexa though. She wasn't even that good with drawing, but she did give a lot of effort in making her shirt nice. And her skirt, of course, it was not to be left out. She wanted to hide under one of the tables. What if Alexa didn't like her sketch? Heh, she would've punched her... but that would cause a lot of points off of Slytherin. It took Kat by surprise when the Lion said they were 'neat'. "Uhmm... thank you?" Kat said. Maybe she was just doing it because she didn't wanna hurt her feeeliiiings. SNORT.
When Kat saw Alexa's sketch, she was impressed. She liked the stripes thing on the shirt and the shorts were kinda cool. "Yours are good too," she complimented. Well, at least Alexa wasn't as annoying as before. Which was a total relief since Kat needed to grab the bull by its horns today. "Now, maybe we can think of shoes that would look great with each other's outfit."
PONDER. Put your thinking cap on, Kat. Aha! "I think your outfit would look with blue high-cut shoes. That is, in my opinion." Maybe Alexa had something better or...? Now, what about my outfit Lion?

Lex did a half beam at the girl when she said hers were good too. She was glad the girl liked her designs but it didn't make a difference either way. She liked how it look and she liked even more how it turned out when she did the spell. Once she was home she was gonna parade around Diagon Alley telling anyone who'd listen that she'd made it herself.
Right. On to the shoes.
She listened carefully to the girl's suggestion. It actually sounded like something she'd wear!!!! Thank Merlin too, 'cause if the girl had suggested something like heels or slippers she would've simply walked away and found another partner with a bit more common sense. "I love that idea! Will you be making them blue?" 'Cause her outfit was supposed to have a good dose of blue...and 'cause it was a great colour. Then she thought about the girl's outfit. Hmmmmmm.....what would go good with that...?
"How do you feel about flip flops...you know...since it's summer and all..." She didn't have the greatest fashion sense and she didn't want to either.

Ah so that was his work, which got this Ravenclaw to smile widely "House Pride of the WIN yeah?" He glanced up at his mannequin then back to Ethan's a few times "You know what, thats a good idea--bringing the dummies closer so we can have a better look when we create the shoes...". Efficiency was a good thing.
He took off to get his dummy and rolled it back towards where Ethan was. "Given our common theme, maybe it would be easier to come up with a concept for our shoes?" he said to the other Claw as he gazed at the outfit Ethan conjured up. "I'm taking that since what you got there are jeans, you would be ok with shoes that are more casual? Like sneakers? Or would you prefer something that would add a bit more style to it like boots?" Shoes can be the accessory that can give outfits an extra impact.
Ethan beamed back at the seventh year, clearly pleased that the older boy approved of his work. Yes, he had become quite proud of his House during his short time at Hogwarts and didn't mind making it apparent. He nodded to Vickers as he mentioned bring his own mannequin over to their workstation. "Yes, that's what I thought as well.. we'll have a better idea of what shoes would go best with our outfits." Clearly, sound Ravenclaw logic at work..
Watching the seventh year as he wheeled his own mannequin over to them, he nodded at his suggestion. "Actually, yes.. I was thinking of something more casual since it's a fairly casual outfit," he began. "But now that you mention it.. I think a pair of boots might be nice." He thought for a moment.. yes, that would give his outfit a certain style, wouldn't it? Then he gave the other boy's outfit an appraising look. "What do you think for yourself, Vickers? Probably nothing too fancy to take away from the outfit.. a pair of brown loafers? Or did you have something else in mind?"

The room was only partially filled with people practicing and working on their dummies, and Vivi nodded at a few as she entered. She'd just get the dummies out and wait on Kurumi, especially since they were required to make shoes for each other this time around. No use doing that until she had time to see if she could talk Kurumi into heels.
They'd be standing still for the picture. It seemed safe, and these were the times to be adventurous. Or more adventurous than flats and low boots, at least.
Vivi wiggled her fingers at Vick and the other Ravenclaw with him before moving off to role Vivi-quin and Kurumi-quin away from the wall and into a corner where they could work. Once situated, she settled on the floor and removed parchment and charcoal from her bag. Maybe she could sketch a few ideas before her friend arrived.

Ah see, this is why collaboration is awesome. "Boots it will be then.... " he started then caught the familiar Ravenclaw blonde wave hello to them. He smiled back to Vivi and returned her wave hello before turning his attention back to Ethan "Do you want something like real formal, leather type boots? Maybe even cowboy boots?..." he snickered, who knows if Ethan would actually dare to go with that "Or something a little less formal, has the same height as boots but the comfort of sneakers, something like high tops?"
He turned his attention back to his own outfit at Ethan's question. "I was actually thinking of just our regular school shoes." he chuckled ".... but yeah loafers are a really good idea. Comfortable too. Yeah you can make it brown, or any of the shade similar to the outfit? Like the one from the collar or from the fabric.."

Huh...
So Alexa wasn't that annoying after all. If she maintained her not-so annoying self then maybe Kat would've gained a bit more respect for the girl But that didn't make her dislike her less. She was still that Cambridge girl that continued the argument she started with the Slytherin Chasers Theo, West, and Kat herself.
Oh she even liked Kat's idea for her outfit. "Thank you," Kat said and gave Alexa a curt nod. She wasn't that bad... yet. Though the little Lion liked Kat's idea, the blonde wouldn't even think of actually being a fashion designer. Yes, Transfiguration was interesting this term but no she won't be designing anything. If she already failed at sketching then how much more that? "I think the flip flops are good." Nod. After all, she was a first year and Alexa shouldn't be doing really complicated stuff.
But that's what the Professors say.
"Ok, I'll go start making your shoes now," Kat said. The blonde took two plates and placed them in front of her. "Pedestis," she said as she focused on the shoes she thought Alexa's outfit would look best with. Those high-cut thingies, yeah. The Slytherin was pleased when the plates starting transforming into the shoes she wanted. The blue shoes, that. "Do they look okay to you?" Alexa was the one whose gonna wear it, not Kat, so her opinion would matter.

She agreed about the whole filp flops idea? Without giving some kind of mean comment about her not being able to do anything else? This really was progress wasn't it?! Now Lex was left wondering how this girl hung out with that Ariana girl so often...she didn't seem nearly as bad anymore.
She took a step back and watched the girl get to work on the plates. The poor kid nearly got discouraged when she saw how easily the girl got the shoes done. She didn't even need to use the Reverto spell at all; a spell that had practically become Lex's speciality thanks to Transfiguration class. Not that she minded. It was better than being completely terrible at it like she'd been at the start of the year.
Once the shoes were done she took a good look at them then squealed. "These are perfect!!!" And now she had a whole nother pair of blue shoes to love on. "Okay now it's my turn!" After seeing the brilliance the girl created she wanted to give it a hand herself.
Right.
Concentrate.
"Pedestis!" She watched anxiously while the plates shifted and changed, nearly dying when she saw the results. It worked!! It actually worked!! No Reverto, no glaring, no jabbing at it then drawing funny pictures--it worked!!! Eeeep!!
"What do you think?" She did like them right? This was a major accomplishment for the 11 year old!

Grin!
Sophie grinned at Ella when her friend complimented the outfit she had created. It would be something she'd wear, actually, but the brunette was most definitely not repeating the task again, unless it was really needed.
Not a fashion designer aat aaall. Nope.
But oohh, look at Ella's work! "Yours is quite cool as well!" She beamed at her friend, grinning some more. Funny how they made complete different things, heh! The best part was that this task would make them have to think like the other... and make a shoe that fit their partner's style. Interesting!
"Okay, so... do you have anything in mind that you want me to make to finish your outfit?" Because Sophie had no idea, as usual. Maybe Ella could give her some insight or something? The third year placed the paper plates on the floor in front of their dummies and stepped back to take a good look at... the whole. "...... I really have no idea." Hehe.
The book could give them a few ideas, no? Sophie remembered seeing some drawings of shoes and whatnot while studying the spell. So she pulled her Transfiguration book from her bag and sat down on the floor. Flipping through the pages, the fourteen year-old looked up at the dummies every now and then. "Here it is!" She said as she ran her fingers on the page. "Hm... my outfit if not as fancy as yours, maybe it could be something more... sportsy?" Sophie waved her wand lazily as she spoke to Ella, practicing the wand movement for a bit.
Tap. Tap. Pedestis!

Once again Kurumi had resorted to collecting magazine upon magazine about wizarding fashion. She had even written her brother - who somehow had snagged himself a girlfriend - to ask him to ask her to owl some fashion magazines. So, Kurumi probably had one too many references to look at for this...which was almost worse because it made her even more nervous about transfiguring a pair of shoes for Vivi.
Vivi was so elegant and held herself well, Kurumi thought so at least. She could probably pull off a ratty pair of sneakers like they belong to royalty.
Spotting Vivi by their mannequins, she made her way over to the Ravenclaw and plopped herself down on the ground next to her while setting her bag on her lap and reaching inside for magazine number one. "Hey," she said with a small finger wiggle. "You um...have any idea for what sort of shoe you envision yourself wearing with that outfit?"

So Hannah had once again waited until the last possible moment to do her homework. Truth of the matter was that the end of term was so close that she could taste it and she could feel her old habits of slacking off sneaking up on her once again. She had done so well this year, so she couldn't mess it up now. She had actually mananged to get her shoes right in class so maybe she would be able to breeze right through this assignment. One could hope anyways!
Hannah searched for her mannequin, but it didn't take long to find because her awesome work stuck out. She smiled to herself about how good it truly was. She looked over the shirt and skirt that she had made before once more for good measure.
She thought about the shoes that she made for class and knew that those were the exact ones that she wanted. She decided to make a sketch like she had done with everything else that she had made. She took out her quill and a balck piece of parchement and went to town making her closed toe black shoes with two inch heels. She eyed her work and decided that she was happy with it!

Laura wasn't sure if this was a good idea or not because well she hated Hannah but she wanted to do the homework and well all they had to do was make shoes for each other to try on, she couldn't harm her with shoes right, all she could do was make the wrong size shoes but well Hannah wouldn't want to do that right, and if she did well two people could play at that game.
Laura sighed, once again she was doing everything at the last minute, she just hoped that she could do this, she had done everything right eventually, all her outfit was okay and everything seemed right, but it did take her awhile to master the spell, but now she was fairly sure she had mastered the spell.
Laura looked at Hannah and gave her a smile. "Okay so we have to make each other a pair of shoes." Laura really couldn't wait for this. "I think we should try and make each other a set of high heels." Laura thought they would go well with each others outfit. "But if you want to make something that is easier I will understand." Laura wasn't sure if Hannah could make a pair of high heels.

All of a sudden Hyde had approached her and then realization had hit her. Here she was making a sketch of how she wanted her shoes to look and she had completely forgotten that they had to partner up and make each other shoes. UGGGH! Of all people she had ended up with Laura. She didn't know how that had happened. Oh yeah... she waited until the last moment and got stuck with the leftovers. She was going to have to make the best of the situation.
The first thought that came to her mind was to mess up her shoes, but she needed to work smarter, not harder. If she messed with the girls shoes then she would have to work with her enemy for that much longer, and she definitely didn't want to do that. She looked over at Laura and noticed that the girl had actually given her a smile. Weird. Maybe she was actually going to be pleasant. Hannah did not return the smile though. She would have to feel out the situation before she committed to any kind of mood with Laura. They did not have a good history with each other.
Heels. Hannah was on board with heels. She was just about to make some for herself before she realized that they had to work in partners. "Heels are fine." Then Laura just had to make a jab at Hannah. This is excatly why she did not return her smile. She knew that something like this was bound to happen. "Don't get sassy Hyde!" she warned. The last thing they needed was a duel while they were trying to complete their homework. "Of course I can master some heels. How do you want yours to look?"

Laura looked at Hannah and then she giggled when Hannah went in a mood. "I wasn't being sassy, I was asking a serious question." Laura said truthfully, seriously if Hannah was to blow up the room or something trying to do something that was way out of her comfort zone then they would have to work together even longer than was needed, and so Laura was going to let Hannah do the easiest thing that she could do so that they didn't have to be here for very long.
Laura listened to Hannah and nearly fainted was she actually asking how she wanted them to look like, she had expected Hannah just to make up her mind for her, that was what she always did right, but well this was actually new for Hannah maybe Hannah was actually trying to be nice. "I want something to go with this outfit." Laura showned Hannah the outfit that she had made it had a pink top with some fancy words on them and a red skirt, she just hoped that she hadn't made a mistake in showing the outfit to her.
Laura then realised that she had to ask Hannah how she wanted her shoes now, since she had actually done that for her. "How would you like your shoes?" Laura had a funny feeling that the heels would have to be small for Hannah so that she could walk in them without tripping up, this was going to be easy and hopefully it wouldn't take long.

Minerva smiled, "Yes those will look great!" Min said excitedly towards the sketch Belle had made. Then she had watched as Belle did the spell and turned the plates into the shoes. "Belle those look great. Hope I won't be taller then Ethan in them." She giggled knowing the Ethan was taller then her so it shouldn't be a problem. When she said about the size Minerva just smiled, "Well it won't matter, once you put the plates down and I stand on them the shoes will then form around my foot so that they will then fit." Minerva slipped off her shoes she had on so that Belle could do the spell and fit the shoes correctly.
Minerva thought is was sweet of Belle to be excited about her making shoes. "Well then I really don't want them to be wrong.." She then bent down and put the plates on the floor. "Just step onto the plates" Once Belle was in position Minerva tapped the plates again. "Pedestis!" She watched as the same purple shoes formed around Belle's feet and the cute little lilac design moved around the shoe. "There those look great! Now you will just need to put on the outfit you designed and take the picture for the wall." Minerva was happy it turned out well and knew Belle would look great in the picture.

Hannah eyed Laura as the girl explained that she wasn't be sassy. She highly doubted that this much was true because the two girls obviously didn't like each other. Still, Laura had said that she wasn't being sassy so Hannah would leave it at that for now. She still didn't like the giggle that Laura had made, but she too let that go for now.
Hannah had noticed the look on Laura's face when Hannah asked her how she wanted her shoes to look. Surprised much? Yeah, that wasn't very Hannah like to ask how somebody else wanted something done, but she could play nice. Plus she had every intention of getting Laura to make the shoes that she wanted and not the shoes that Laura wanted Hannah to have. Hannah was trying hard to be nice so she could complete the assignment. So Laura shouldn't go and blow it or anything!
Hannah watched as Laura showed her the outfit that she had made. Her first response was to laugh, but she composed herself before her face gave away any of her feelings. The work was good, but Hannah did not like the whole girly feel to it. The shirt was pink for crying out loud. GAG! The skirt was red though and Hannah could do red. "How about some red pumps?" That would look nice. As long as they weren't pink. Please don't say pink.
How nice. Now she was asking Hannah how she wanted her shoes to look. Well, she didn't need any opinions from Hyde. "I want them to be black, closed toe and about 2 inches." That would be perfect. Should she show her, her outfit as well? Heh, might as well. "This is my outfit." She pointed in the direction of her green silk blouse with silver sequins around the top of the shirt. The sleeves went down to her elbow. Her skirt was simple and black. It was the shape of a pencil skirt and looked nice on her.
Ethan followed Vickers' gaze over to the other Seventh year Claw who had just walked in, and he gave her a polite smile as a greeting in return. Turning his eyes back to the older boy as he spoke, the fifth year stopped to think. Those were a lot of good options.. which one would be best? "Ummm.." Ethan glanced at his mannequin for a moment and tilted his head slightly to give it an appraising look. His first thought was to go casual.. maybe cowboy boots would work with this? Hmm.. No, something more formal would suit his taste better in terms of footwear. Turning back to Vickers, he nodded to himself in confirmation and said, "The formal type, I think.. Just plain leather, no embellishments or anything." Formal yes, fancy no.
Furrowing his brow, he turned his attention to Vickers' outfit as he spoke. School shoes..? Why would he want another pair if he already had some? But if that was what he wanted.. Oh, but he did decide on loafers and Ethan happily agreed. That's what he thought would look best, anyway. Nodding, he said, "Yeah.. sure.. that's what I was thinking too. Something to match the brown in the collar. At least I'll try.." He gave the boy a tentative grin. The 16 year old wasn't the best at Transfiguration, but hopefully he could create what the other boy wanted.
"So, um.. do you want to try first?" Ethan gestured down at the pair of paper plates he was still standing on. He knew this was an easier spell that the two previous, but he was sure he could still learn a tip or two from the older boy if he watched him first.
