Taylor came skipping into the greenhouse, "Goooooooooooood day, Professor!" She sang out, "How was your summer?" Tay was excited for the lesson to begin.

Ariana strolled into the greenhouse right behind taylor "Hello Professor!"

Out from the towers Vickers made his way down the paths towards the greenhouses, bookbag slung across his shoulder. He crossed the threshold to see the Herbologist rocking on her feet "Goodmorning Professor Bentley" he greeted her with a smile and a slight nod of his head. She didnt say anything about sitting down so he stood to one side, waiting for the rest of the class to file through.

Nigel did not know what to think about herbology. He did not really like plants and especially not the man eating kind. He walks into the greenhouse, turns to Professor Bentley and says

"Hello, Professor Bently. How are You?"

He did not know what to expect from this first lesson and now he find a spot to stand because she did not say the class could sit.

Nate walked in to the greenhouse for the first time this year. He took a look around at all the plants inside. This would be a place that Nate was going to remember after he graduates college. He had everything he needed for this class in his hands. then he saw the Professor and with a smile said "hello Professor Bentley! How was your summer?"

Every two steps that Lex took had her flashing behind her. No one in the world could convince her that a dragon wouldn't swoop in any minute now, see her dragonhide gloves and mistake it for it's cousin. She wasn't ready to die a horrible and painful death at the hands of a confused dragon!!!

People were already trickling in and she was hoping to maybe hide behind a few of them. It could work, she was short enough and well...it was better them than her! Unless...unless her friends were involved...then she would have to save them--but anyone else could go, especially the older ones. They lived a full life, fuller than hers anyway.

Once the door of the green house was insight she hurried inside and took a look outside the to make sure Mr. Dragon hadn't followed her over here. Why did she even have to where these anyway? Where they trying to pick off the students one by one by making them targets until they had the ultimate students left? Hey...that was it, wasn't it?! Survival of the fittest and all that? This thought made her eye the Professor rather suspiciously. Something told her that pleasant face was all a front. Lower them into a false sense of security then BAM!!!

"Hello Professor." She managed to choke out before her eyes flew to the door once more. In a bit she would turn her attention to the plants in the greenhouse but for now, she had to be vigilant. If the opportunity arrived she would need to sacrifice someone to the dragon before someone grabbed her and did the same. This survival of the fittest thing was pretty mean....

She stood as close as she possibly could to the Professor, without actually touching her and deciding this would be her spot. Yup.

The greenhouses. Melanie knew where those were. Somewhat at least. She knew it was at one side of the school... she just couldn't quite remember which one. Luckily, her guess had been right and she was there now. She poked her head into the greenhouse and looked around. This was the right place, yes? The professor was there and all... assuming the woman rocking back and forth was the professor.

She gave the professor a somewhat nervous smile and waved. "Hello professor," she greeted, looking around the greenhouse. Did she just... stand somewhere? Were they supposed to sit?

Melanie glanced at the other kids, they were standing, right? So she did too.

Ah...another of his favorite classes was scheduled to be held. Herbology had surely grown on him over the years and it didn't all have to do with the fact that the professor was also the Gryffindor head of house. "Good day Professor Bentley," Gideon greeted with a polite smile towards the woman as he entered the greenhouse and saw her near the front. Seeing as nothing seemed to be laid out at the moment, the prefect opted to simply stand near the front by the professor.

It was so nice to be out of the castle, and Vivi entered the greenhouse in particularly high spirits. She was a fan of being outside as often as possible, which was the primary reason she took Herbology. Plus digging around in the dirt was just cathartic.

"Good morning, Professor." She smiled brightly at the woman and pulled faces at Vickers as she took the patch of wall next to him. Heeeeey there, Ravenclaw buddy.

After finally managing to properly wrap her right wrist, Lily grabbed her bag and headed down to the greenhouses for her herbology lesson. Upon entering greenhouse, the third year grinned slighty at the professor before greeting her. "Hello Professor Bentley... I trust you are well today?" Better than the claw at least... But no matter since it was their first lesson of the year. Hopefully this year would be a better year than the past two years. After greeting the professor, the redhead continued into the greenhouse, giving small smiles to everyone else who was already there for the lesson.

Herbology was a pretty decent subject as far as Sierra was concerned. It was at least useful...and magical, too. Professor Bentley had never once gotten on her nerves either, which was a big plus as far as Sierra was concerned.

Speaking of Bentley, Sierra could see the woman up ahead, so she took a few more steps forward then came to a stop in a group of already assembled students. "Hello, Professor Bentley," she said, making an effort to at least greet the woman.

The lioness skipped into the Greenhouses, being sure to avoid the plants at all costs. They were.. Professor Bentley's specialty. Not Alice's. For a reason. Eyeing the plants warily, she glanced somewhat nervously away from them and toward her head of House. "Good day, Professor Bentley. I hope your summer was.. er.." The third year didn't finish her sentence. She suspected that the plant she was staring at had teeth.

She was one hundred percent sure of it.



She kept her eyes on the creepy plant as she continued to speak. "I trust your summer went we—" Did she just catch a glimpse of shiny white teeth or was it just her imagination?! Creepy plant. What if it tried to bite her? Professor Bentley did have these things under control.. right? .. Alice did not want to die at the teeth hands of a creepy plant.

The Ravenclaw brunette adjusted her necktie before stepping inside the Greenhouse. She missed Herbology, Professor Bentley and most especially the plants! Hence, she was all smiles when she arrived. Her dark brown eyes surveyed the Greenhouse for anything unusual first. Well..Professor Bentley had quite a knack for exotic plants...

Coast was clear. She could see none. Or maybe one of her favorite Professors was just hiding another overlarge fanged geranium?

Heh. Beezus then approached the woman, "Hello Professor Seren!" And as usual, she was calling her by her first name. Beezus never got used to calling her Professor Bentley anyway. Then with a nod, she shuffled off towards Vickers direction, she eyed the girl who was with him, trying to rack her memory for any identification. But there was nothing. So she gave her a smile before turning to Vicker. "Hi Vickers." Smirk.

Herbology. Abby wasn't sure if she'd like that subject. She'd heard that the subject involved creepy looking plants and that was something the girl did NOT want to deal with. But, she really didn't have a choice. She'd already dropped one subject and she just couldn't afford to drop another one. Siigh.

She entered the Greenhouse with a bored expression on her face. Like always. "Professor." Abby directed a faint smile at her before she noticed that all the students were standing.. So, they weren't even allowed to sit in classes? Feeling annoyed, the girl stood near the professor and hoped that this class would get over soon.

As more students started pouring in Vickers backed up a bit to give them more room. But it wasnt long before he sensed a presence nearing him. He looks up in time to see Vivi making a face at him, of which he replied with a playful smirk of his own. "Hi Viv." he started then turned when another one joined them. Oh hey its the spunky Claw "Hey there Beezus."

So, it was time for Herbology now. Penelope was...looking forward to it? Sure. At least a little bit. It wasn't too bad of a class, after all. Wasn't her least favorite or worst subject anyway. So it was something to look forward to. "Hi, Professor," she greeted her Head of House when she reached the place where the professor and the students were gathered, then stood off to the side to wait for the class to start.

Dragon hide gloves clutched in her right hand and her bag hanging off her left shoulder, Kurumi made her way down to the greenhouses for Herbology. She had taken the time to go check on Xavier before heading over to class, feeding him a few scraps of meat she had taken from the kitchens and checked to make sure that his soil was fertilized and spot on.

Approaching the crowd already gathered, Kurumi stood a little off to the right, towards the edge of the group, and smiled at her Head of House. "Good day, professor," she greeted, inclining her head slightly.

Obviously West would be right on time for his faaavourite class, and his faaaaavourite professor. Bentley was the coolest because her trees ate people.

"Hi Professor Bentley!" West greeted, even enthusiastically using her whoooole name. He found a place to stand and then imitated her, with the rocking. Yep.

Herbology time. This was a good thing seeing as Ella was a big fan of the subject, well...minus some of the scarier plants though she was still pretty interested in those.

The third year made her way to the greenhouses and entered with a small smile, greeting Professor Bentley with a wave. "Hi Professor, hope you had a nice summer." And look, it was Alice! Ella smiled and headed towards her friend, standing by her Hulk while she waited for class to begin. "Hi." She said quietly.

Not her absolute favorite class, but Dora DID love messing with all the plants and being outside when it wasn't all wet and rainy. Dora skipped through the entrance and flashed the professor a small smile. "Hey, Professor."

It wasn't hard to pick where to sit either, cause she spotted West almost immediately and went over to claim the stool beside him. Penelope got a brief wave as she was passed by before she hopped into the seat next to her slytherin friend. "Hi!"

With everything that she would need for Herbology and said bag slung over her shoulder, Emmanuelle made her way into the greenhouse in a pretty good mood. It didn't seem to be raining, which was a relief, because she wasn't sure if she'd even remembered to pack her rain poncho or not. Of course, the time to think of that would've been back at home, but....

Looking around, Em couldn't see any sign of which ever plant they'd be studying today, just the professor standing there. She joined her classmates where they seemed to be gathered and offered a greeting. "Hello, professor!"

When Selina had awoken that morning the redhead, who usually was not prone to waking up chipper and happy in the morning, had a broad smile on her face. There was no other reason for her happiness except for the fact that today was the first Herbology lesson of the year. Being a Gryffindor, obviously Selina was thrilled to have Herbology. Bentley, the lion's Head of House, was a fabulous teacher and also dashingly attractive, but that was really not a surprise because Bentley belonged to the lions. How could she NOT be fabulous and attractive?

With a small spring in her step, she walked into the familiar greenhouses and nodded to Bentley, "Morning, Professor. Did you enjoy your summer?" Selina really wanted to ask her if she had seen her beater bat, since Bentley had promised to keep a look out for Mortimer, but that was not appropriate in the classroom.

Seriously though, had anyone seen Mortimer?

Why did they have to carry around so much stuff anyway? Glenn shouldered her heavy backpack and her dragon-hide gloves in the nook of her arm. Herbology was okay, she guessed. The vicious plants were the most fun. The little cute plants were quite boring.

Approaching the group of students, Glenn joined them near the back. "Hello Professor." She said, glancing over her shoulder at the forest instead of paying attention to whatever was going on while they waited. The forest looked so cool! Too bad it was forbidden. But.. she could get around that. It wasn't like it was guarded or anything. Hmm. Maybe some the plants they were going to work with would come from the forest, that'd be epic!

Annabelle walked into Herbology. She was excited to get on with her lessons. She walked into the classroom and noticed the professor. "Good morning Professor!" Annabelle said with a cheery smile. "How was your summer Professor?"
She noticed some of her fellow puffs in class and was happy she wasn't the only puff in class.
