Teehee!! SPOILER!!: Maypole girl and the fun ruiners! "HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!" Peeves was bent over in fits of giggles as he watched the ickle Ravenclaw girl struggle and whine about being all wrapped up. The boy laughing at her made it even better--he hadn't even planned that! A little Puffer started demanding an appology but Peeves didn't do that but then he recognized her. "Mop head, what are you up to these days? Still bathing in mop water, I'd advise against that. People will start to think you're GROSSS!" Just as he was about to go down and spin the girl out of the tinsle by yanking the one end, the stupid Prefect let her out. "Don't you have any Christmas spirit, Crummy BoughsofHollyberry!?!" He stuck his tongue out at her before going on to find some other victim. Quote:
He disappeared and then reappeared just behind her making another loud Rasberry. "PFFBBBTTTTTT!!!!" "Ewwww everyone, EVERYONE! This gross Claw just FARTED!" And his work was just about done... Quote:
"I'm staying if you're staying...." Peeves wiggled his eyebrows at her before cackling some more. SPOILER!!: Professors Now he was in trouble. Nest-on-his-head Librarian was shouting (if only he knew what Peeves had done to his library), the Transfiguration lady was trying to be nice and then the Charms woman knew the deal. "She's smart." he pointed at the last one, but then turned back to the Librarian as he mentioned the Bloody Baron. "FINE! Peeves WILL stay but he will be GOOD. Thanks for being soooooo forgiving SIR. It is the Christmas season, right?" |
Professor Magnus/Peeves talking about Elliot smelling.. Minerva looked at the tree she just finished excited the spell worked and that it was filled with snakes, badgers, eagles, and lions. This is probably the only time these four house symbols were together without someone fighting, Minerva thought. Then she smiled at Professor Magnus, "Are you ready for the Holiday to come? Will you be traveling?" Minerva hoped she wasn't being to nosy, but she just wondered and since Mr. Gibbins told her he was staying she wondered who else would be staying since she was Then she heard Peeves yelling something else, turning she heard what he said and started busing up laughing. "That is great" she couldn't help but say. Oh precious, thinks she is perfect Elliot being told she has farted.. Minerva had to remind herself to help Peeves out at some point with something just for doing that to Elliot. It was to perfect not to give him a pat on the back. |

*rearranges a little* let's pretend that timelines all make sense *beams* Quote:
Oh..ouch...that...looked sort of painful...pulled out her own hair like that. "Um...at least you aren't wrapped up in tinsel anymore?" Kurumi asked meekly. Glass is half full, right? Quote:
Kurumi raised an eyebrow at the poltergeist. She was pretty sure that he was the one that wasn't in the Christmas spirit... "My name is Kurumi Hollingberry," she replied calmly, not letting him get to her as best she could. Seriously, wasn't he out and about a LOT more than usual? Quote:
What came next...surprised her. Kurumi had surprised herself in making something for Sierra, so she was taken aback a bit right now - especially with Sierra's words. A part of Kurumi was almost upset about this, in a bad way. So, seeing how Kurumi had suffered and cried and slowly watched her mother die had earned her respect from Sierra? That seemed like a cruel sort of joke...only something in the Slytherin's tone softened Kurumi's train of thought. "Thank you...Sierra," Kurumi said as she accepted the bookmark from her. "Kind of...ironic in a way...with you calling me Dictionary Eater and all," she managed to laugh, hoping to somewhat soften the mood slightly since the Gryffindor was feeling rather awkward at the moment. |
Quote:
It might be the first time anyone had, or at least that Vivi could recognize. And he was a GHOST. Hilarious. "Then stay. Who's stopping you?" She was still hoping to join a tree... perhaps Kurumi and Sierra (weird, that), although they seemed to be having some sort of moment. |
SPOILER!!: Cece Seb stopped what he was doing and blinked at the Healer. Where on earth did this come from? And really, the woman should ask questions first before going around placing the blame. "I didn't do that. The tables just disappeared moments ago." And then he heard a commotion and he looked up to see Peeves. "I think we may have found the source of the table disappearance. If you'll excuse me, I shall go sort it out." Before she decided to blame him for letting Peeves run riot. SPOILER!!: Peeves Oh dear Merlin!! The poltergeist was out of control. Seb had never really come into contact with Peeves when he had been at school but now he was getting a first hand experience at how bad he really was. And how did one go about stopping the poltergeist? Thankfully the other students managed to free the girl that was tied up in tinsel. He decided to just leave it for now. Peeves, wasn't doing anything but being insulting. For now at least. SPOILER!!: Oakey Seb grinned at Oakey and watched as the young man levitated the star to the top of one of the trees. "Nice work." he said with a nod of his head and then left the boy to his own devices. SPOILER!!: Kat "Okay. But I'm not actually a Professor." The girl had already moved off though and Seb shrugged his shoulders. There was worse things than being called a Professor. SPOILER!!: Isabelle Glancing up at the Transfiguration Professor, Seb gave her a warm smile. "I wish I could take the credit for it." Because it did in fact make things easier. "But we didn't do it." He gestured towards the Poltergeist. "He appeared seconds after they disappeared, so I don't if he had anything to do with it." SPOILER!!: Leo "Leo it is then." he said with a grin. He gave his wand another flourish and conjured a strand of glittery beads with little bells placed here and there and he wrapped it around the tree he was working on. Seb raised his eyebrows at Leo. "You didn't think it would be rewarding." SPOILER!!: Sarah "Of course you can help." Even though about half the school was here already, but the kids seemed to be having fun so why not. "There's a box of decorations around here somewhere." SPOILER!!: Sierra It seemed the idea of sharing things was quite appealing to the Slytherin Prefect. "Yes. But bear in mind that sharing everything has both good and bad points. But if you can handle it then it is a pretty good life." Seb thought so anyway, although he was pretty sure that his daughter was happy that she was out of there. SPOILER!!: Bellaire After checking on the students and making sure that Peeves wasn't doing anything else to them, Seb made his way back to Leo and noticed the Professor who had kept staring at him during the feast. He cleared his throat as he approached and gave the woman a smile. "I don't believe we have met yet." He held his hand out to her. "Sebastian Gibbins." |
Quote:
Thankfully, Sutton was different. Hmmm...why had someone removed the tables?? The trees could fit around the tables, it just might be a little tight... But that was alright. It was better than sitting on the stone cold floor. Hopefully, they would be put back after all this decorating was finished. She couldn't last THAT long on the floor. It was probably reeeeaallly dirty, anyways! "I have no ideas. It wasn't really a smart idea..." It wasn't, to her. |
Someone sure was a bit defensive wasn't he."Oh yes, so convenient... for everyone to eat on the floor." Yeah, lets see just how convenient he thought it was when it came time for him to eat. And now Sebastian was going to claim they didn't do anything with the tables. Did these guys really expect her to believe that? More staff and students were filling that Great Hall and despite there being no tables it appeared as if everyone was having a good time. That is until Peeves decided to make his presence known... again. Okay, so maybe Cece had jumped to conclusions about the tables. "Right, you go take care of that ghost. I'm sure he'll listen to you." |
Text Cut: Mr Kitridge and Isaac Ness turned and listened to the Librarian. She gave him a nod and then tried to focus on helping him, rather than focusing on the whole Peeves thing. She didn't want to get caught up in it all, seeing as it was already being dealt with. Nod. Nod. This they could do. "We can." She returned Isaac's smile and then bent down picking up some decorations. She then headed over to tree and started adding them onto the tree with a simple spell. Not too boring...it was fun, just like she'd thought it would be. If only Peeves woukd shush, the thing was really making a lot of noise. |
Ahem Mr.Gibbins Sophia was very much distracted from Leo when the groundskeeper introduced himself to her.Tucking a lock of her dark hair behind her ear, she smiled at him and took his hand forgetting to actually shake it. "No we haven't. It's a pleasure to finally meet you Mr.Gibbins. Sophia Bellaire, Charms professor. The trees are lovely." Ahem. |
what decorations are in the box? Quote:

For Mr. Gibbins & everyone else / Juliet's with us! x3 Louisawas wearing two sweaters, a double-layered wrap-around jacket, a wool hat and a clashing boot to warm her slowly recovering self. She'd missed the first Ravenclaw match of the season thanks to this silly flu, she kept sneezing and blowing her nose, BUT she was no way going to miss this. She'd heard of the students and staff down the Great Hall working on the tree decoration and she thought it was one of the unique occasions that she didn't want to miss in her last year. Juliet seemed pretty excited as well to the idea and so the two girls met up and walked into the great hall now a bit crowded with students and professors. And a ghost. Louisa squinted her eyes disapprovingly at Peeves, which he probably missed, and then turned her attention to Juliet, "Let's go see say hi-ACHU!- sorry." She blew her nose and continued, "To Mr. Gibbins and the professors first." And then directed the younger snake toward the groundskeeper, spotting a lot of familiar faces in her way. She smiled widely, her clowny red nose giving her face a comical appearance. "Hello Mr. Gibbins!" ACHU!! The Ravenclaw wiped her nose with her handkerchief and gestured to one of the trees scattered around, "Juliet and I thought we can give you guys a hand with this!" Her beaming face said all about how excited she was, even with a runny nose and sickly red cheeks. "Hello professors!" At Magnus, Bellaire, the cute librarian, even Cece was included! Louisa turned to Juliet then and pointed at one of the trees nearby, "You think we can make that into a lantern-like tree?" Hehehe, geddit? Coz it'd be covered with magical lights! |
Ohhhh Me me me!!! xD Juliet heard about the tree decoration in the great hall which is a nice gesture since Christmas is almost coming to a near. The great hall is one of the most amazing places at Hogwarts obviously, decorations are needed to this place. besides, it does need the Christmas-y touch right now. Juliet decided to go with Louisa, the seventh year did invite her and Juliet couldn't say no. She had been nice to Juliet and plus she's always fun to be with. She's like one of those sisters, Juliet has never had. Meeting up with her, Juliet saw Louisa slightly not okay. From the looks of it, she's having a flu. And when she coughed, Juliet looked a bit more worried "Are you certain that you're going to do this? I mean, we can go see the healer if you want" she said clinging to one of her arm. Juliet is okay with whatever she chooses and really, she will go with her to the healer if she wanted. But of course............. Louisa went walking to Mr. Gibbins. Juliet won't force her but she'll keep an eye at the Head Girl just in case. Waving her hand to Mr. Gibbins, Louisa conversed about them helping out with this project too. It'll be fun!!! And before she knows it, they're now greeting the professors "Hello, Professor Bellaire" she said smiling to the Charms professor as well. And oh, what do you know. The healer herself was here. At least now, she can't worry too much about Louisa fainting or something. Hopefully, she's strong enough to beat her fever to the punch. Lantern-like? Juliet looked confused and stared at Louisa. Her eyes blinking for a long while and didn't reply back to her. Lantern-like? Are they going to change the whole tree into a lantern? Is that it? Transfiguration stuff? Juliet then glanced to the tree and looked at it in a distance. "What do you mean by lantern-like?" but she's up for it. Whatever, it is. |
Text Cut: Juliet See the snake was getting used to Louisa's She started looking around for the decoration boxes when Juliet asked her about what lantern-like meant. "Well you know, we can load it with all kind of gleaming decorations. Add a bit of candles, small lanterns or fake glowing fairies and charm them to hover around it. Then ta--ACHU!" Grumpily she wiped her nose and went on, "Then tadaaaa! We'll have a lantern-like tree. Now if only I can find a decoration box.. look with me, Jul." Louisa's head turned to Juliet then and gave a small smile, "Can I call you that?" You know, as a nickname. |
Quote:
Decoration box, that was the first thing Louisa wanted the two of them to go find. Good news is that, Juliet saw one from the corner of the great hall, it looked like it had a lot of stuff going on in that box. Different confetti, decoration balls, lights, all those stuff. However, Juliet paused for a moment when Louisa asked if she could call her Jul. Ewww. No. Definitely nope. No way. Meh. Heck no. Without hesitation, Juliet looked at her and replied "No" immediately. She never liked nicknames. She never really had nice ones and Jul is doesn't categorized into the nice ones..... not that she has. "Juliet is fine" she added. She walked towards to one area of the room and grabbed herself a decoration box. Brought it back to Louisa and placed it on one of the tables "I don't know if they have all the things you've mentioned but I guess we can make use of whatever it is we have" |
Text Cut: Cassirin Hearing a voice that had actually become quite familiar to her, Sierra turned to see Vivi Branxton had joined them. Hmm. Vivi didn't seem to be the kind that would volunteer her time to help decorate Christmas trees, but then again, neither did Sierra. "We're decorating the Great Hall for Christmas," she said, gesturing toward the trees. "...while watching the house tables disappear." Yeah. Had anybody figured that one out yet? Text Cut: MeredithRodneyMckay "Ahh," she said, although she wasn't quite sure of that answer. For one, it happened on the spot. This caused her to look around, half expecting to find some professor standing nearby with a wand still pointed to where the house tables had been. They'd been there just a minute ago... Then there was the fact that every staff member standing around seemed clueless about what had happened. "Then why'd they disappear so suddenly?" she asked. "...and with students sitting on them?" Text Cut: sweetpinkpixie "I know," Sierra was quick to say. She didn't want Kurumi to finish that thought. Sierra was perfectly fine ignoring reality and going by the belief that nothing too bad would happen. She was quiet for a few seconds as she reached into a box and took out an ornament. She used her wand to levitate it to a taller branch and hang it there. Sierra gave a nervous laugh at the Dictionary Eater comment. "Oh, no. I still think you eat dictionaries, Kurumi," she said, although she had a half-playful look on her face. "You just know way too much about too many different things." She returned to digging through the box of ornaments and chose one she thought would look nice. "...but we're cool. I don't know how things will be in the future for us, but yeah, we're cool." Text Cut: Mell "I guess so," Sierra said, and then she decided that it'd probably be best not to take up anymore of the groundskeeper's time. With Peeves running wild and so many students coming up, she should be moving on. "Well, let me know if you need anything..." She moved to the next tree over and began rummaging through a different box of ornaments. Text Cut: The1HBIC "Hello, Healer Tillstorm," she said, noticing that the Healer was at the tree Sierra had just moved to. "You want to help me decorate this one?" She noticed how the Healer kept glancing toward the house tables, which reminded Sierra that nobody seemed to know what was going on. "What's up with that anyway?" she asked. "Professor Magnus seems to think that at least somebody on staff knows what happened." |

Looking down into the decoration box he spotted something green like at the bottom. Could that be what I think it is? He wondered getting excited. Gripping the green like object he pulled out of the box and looked at it. Yep it was a MISTELTOE. Glancing from the mistletoe to Cece standing just a few meters from him Leobald he acted on impulse. Crossing the small distance between them he held the mistletoe up in front of Cece to show it to her and beamed…"Look what I found, isn’t it pretty?" Letting his heart act rather than his head Leo leaned in and planted a kiss on Cecelia’s lips. Ending the kiss he pulled back a little waiting for the reaction to follow. Would Cece smack him on the head, hex him or be happy? He had done it because of the mistletoe she would get that surely? |
Rearranging - Sierra and Louisa (and Juliet) Quote:
Was that still an invitation? Or... No. Definitely not, because a moment later Vivi heard Sierra issue an invitation to a staff member. Well. Fine then, Slytherin suck-up. Vivi was perfectly capable of finding someone else to welcome her gladly into their little tree-making team. She made a face at the back of Sierra's head before scurrying across the hall to where Louisa and a younger Slytherin were just selecting their supplies. Quote:
She was distracted momentarily by how absolutely dreadful Louisa looked, and Vivi stepped forward and put her hand on the girl's forehead. "You're still sick, LouLou. Why in the world are you out of bed so soon? Do you want soup? Bet we could get you some soup." She'd harass soup right out of those house elves. |
Quote:
Text Cut: Juliet & Vivi Ohhh jolly! Juliet liked the lantern-like tree idea. Well she should, simply because the Snake wasn't solemn and boring stuck-up. Juliet was known to be giggly and bubbly most of the time, that settles it. "Great! We're-ACHU!" She swore under her breath as she blew her nose into the handkerchief once again. "So.. where was I? Oh, right. We're going to really look or charm the decorations to be glowing enough then." She kept wiping her nose and by extension the upper of her lip... but no need to get into details on that. The Ravenclaw was about to wander off to look for the decoration boxes when Juliet did this exhausting job. Merlin was it a smart idea to bring a healthy person along to do the lifting. Hehe. Louisa approached the table and was about to dig in and see what kind of decoration did they have when a swift motion caught her attention and made her turn her head. Ohh! Vivi was joining them! Louisa beamed and grinned at her fellow Ravenclaw and nodded, "Yes, of cou--" Aaaaand Vivi was taking her temperature. Louisa took the hand off her forehead gently, "I'm alright, Vivi. I think I'm in recovery. Only sneezing and occasional bone ache now." Nodnod. "Besides! We don't usually decorate trees manually for Christmas. I'm not going to let yo--ACHU!!" Merlin's WET beard! She wiped her nose and continued, "Not gonna miss out all the epic fun." Speaking of epic, the Head Girl put one arm around Juliet's shoulders, "This is Juliet Kim, fourth year Slytherin. One of my alumni friend's cousin and a new transfer to Hogwarts." She reversed her position and put a hand on Vivi's back, "This is Vivi Branxton, seventh year Ravenclaw. My dorm mate, and also a new transfer to Hogwarts." Louisa pondered whether to mention that Vivi Branxton was the daughter of Board of Governors President or not. Vivi wouldn't appreciate focusing on that, right? Probably not. So, pass. Better inform the blonde of their little plan for this tree. "We were just getting our decoration box open. I was thinking of a lantern-like tree. Making this tree as glowing as a star up in the sky. Golden star!" They didn't have to do just that, but that was the initial vision. |
several people in here as well Quote:
"I would never deface a book by eating it," she retorted, returning the awkward laugh. "Although...suppose that could make for a semi decent superhero name...for our Muggle Studies assignment I mean." Kurumi really had no idea what she was going to do for that to be honest, so Dictionary Eater was just as good as St. Kurumi at this point. Oh look! Vivi was here too! Kurumi gave the Ravenclaw a finger wiggle before she grabbed some icicle shaped ornaments and began to hang those on the tree while Sierra explained what all was going on. Only when she turned around Vivi had gone off. Oh well, just Sierra and her for this tree. Not...awkward at all. Glancing around the Great Hall...Kurumi saw something that caused her to gasp, eyes to widen, and for her right index finger to begin to tap Sierra rather persistently on the shoulder. GALLOPING GORGONS! WHAT WAS THE LIBRARIAN DOING?! O______________________o It was like watching a Quidditch collision. You SHOULD look away but you just couldn't. WHY was he kissing her in the middle of the Great Hall. In front of everyone? Weren't people supposed to be...discrete in their relationships and stuff...and...SNOGGING?! The Healer wasn't going to kiss him back, was she? WAS SHE?! Kurumi's head snapped back to the tree. Yep...just going to keep hanging these ornaments up... Awkwardawkwardawkwardawkward... |
Louisa and ViVi Sneezing.............. That's not a good sign. Not even one bit of it. Juliet looked more and more worried every single time Louisa sneezes and at the same time talks. She shouldn't be doing that. Sneezing is quite contagious. "Are you sure you don't want to go and see the healer?" she asked one more time. If Louisa still insists in being stubborn and staying then Juliet has no choice but to follow her. Louisa seem pretty strong. Hopefully. When Juliet came back with a box of decoration, the Ravenclaw is now talking to someone again. She's pretty popular. Well, not to mention Head Girl and all that. Juliet likes her, a lot. After placing it on the table, she looked at Louisa and the blonde next to her. She was asking to help them "Sure. We do need more hands" she said both raising her arms and swaying them a bit. She smiled at the other Ravenclaw when Louisa introduced her. "Vivi.... nice to meet you" she said waving her hand. Seventh year and transferred student? Why? But anyway, that was the blonde Ravenclaw's story. Juliet opened the box and what do you know "Lucky for us, this one have cute candles" she said as her hands pulled out 2 or 3 of those candles for the 2 seventh years to see. And ewwww.... She took out her wand as well with a quick tap she then uttered 'Scourgify" |
mentions of professors and any who would like to help Minerva.. Minerva had noticed all the different professors coming into the great hall. She also noticed how they were all thinking Mr. Gibbins moved the tables. Minerva really liked Mr. Gibbins and didn't like that they were accusing him like that. She tried to stay out of it, because she hated not siding with professors. She found her saying out loud, but not really to anyone "He didn't move the tables.. We don't know what happened to them." With growing eyes that she actually said that, Minerva tried to look and see what her tree was missing. Minerva turned, "anyone want to help put some garland on this tree. I made it a Hogwarts theme to show the houses all can be together in one spot and happy." she smiled wanting to show her school spirit not just her own house. She hoped someone might want to help her, because she was kind of bored doing it alone. |
Quote:
"We could bring the trees to you," she offered with a shrug as she surreptitiously wiped her hands on her jumper. It didn't make sense to argue with Louisa when she wanted things her way, and so Vivi wasn't going to fuss over the girl. Instead, she smiled at the younger Slytherin and offered her hand. Quote:
Wait, they were going to decorate the tree with FIRE? That sounded sort of dangerous, regardless of how darling the candles were. Or how very pretty it could be. "Shall we make the tree fireproof first? I have a feeling those needles will become quite flammable." Was that an overly Ravenclaw thing to suggest? |
SPOILER!!: Sierra Smiling once more at the Prefect, Seb nodded his head. “I shall do that.” Now back to the chaos. SPOILER!!: Louisa Before Seb could even get a greeting out, the Head Girl sneezed and he raised an eyebrow at her. “Hello Louisa. Are you sure you’re feeling up to it?” She looked like she should be in bed, snuggled under the blankets with a steaming hot bowl of chicken soup beside her. He gave her friend Juliet a wave back but his attention was definitely on the Head Girl. SPOILER!!: Sarah Peering inside the box, Seb could see a variety of decorations, baubles of every shape and size along with different coloured tinsel and garland. “Wherever you want to put it.” He said giving the youngster a smile. “There is no right or wrong way.” SPOILER!!: Bellaire “Please call me Seb.” He said as he curled his fingers around her slender hand and gave it a gentle shake before slowly retracting his hand and shoving it into his pocket. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well Sophia.” He glanced at the trees that the students were happily decorating and grinned. “Yeah they’re really starting to look good. Although I am sure that your charms will make them extra special.” Did that just come out the way it sounded? Er… SPOILER!!: Leo The way Leo spoke, it sounded to Seb as though it would be pretty rewarding and he was glad that the man was enjoying doing what he was doing. “What did you used to teach as a substitute Professor.” He looked around at the other Professor’s in the hall and he couldn’t help but admire them. “I don’t know how they do it. I tried to home school my daughter but it didn’t work out very well. I don’t think I’m teacher material.” SPOILER!!: Leo and Cece Seb really had no idea what he done to have the Healer talk to him this way. He hadn’t seen her since the feast and he was pretty sure that he hadn’t said anything to offend her during that time. It kinda bugged him and he turned back to her and was just opening his mouth to ask her what her problem was when Leo moved in and… Oh Merlin. Was this place to do that kind of thing? With all the students watching? Seb didn’t know where to look, so he dropped his head and looked at the floor and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. Talk about awkward. He was rather grateful when he heard Minvera pipe up. SPOILER!!: Minerva He looked over to her and grinned. “Thanks a lot Min.” He tipped her a small wink before going back to what he was supposed to be doing and that was decorating a Christmas tree. |
*sneaks this in here* Where was everybody? Alexa felt like she had been circling the castle forever and she could hardly find anyone! Had they all just disappeared without tell or worse, had they died without telling her. If they did then that was rather selfish of them. The least they could have done was let her know so she wouldn't be wondering around aimlessly looking for what might have been survivors. With a heavy sigh she turned into the Great Hall and stopped dead in her tracks. -__- They weren't dead. They were here and alive and well enough to go kissing--and here she thought only students tried hurting her eyes. CRINGE. But over-looking that she began to see the bigger picture. Christmas decorating!!!! She could help. She always helped at home and this year she wouldn't be able to so she might as well here! Now then. She scanned the room for people she might know but stopped at a certain blonde. "Vivi!" She hurried over and latched onto her. "Thank merlin you're not dead!" Not very random when you thought about it. Then she let go because there was something different about the room...something VERY different. She began tapping her cheek as she thought. The paint looked the same...the floor was still hard...the furniture was still-- O___O The furniture...who stole it? She searched the room as if the answer was in there too and her eyes met the Groundskeeper. "Hello Shiny Groundskeeper." BEAM. "What can I help with?" Because she could be helpful while she was looking for answers. And she saw Sarah so she gave her a wave. |
