Arabella-Marie looked over at Lex and said "Well it may not look it but i do feel that it's broken cause it hurts a lot"

The 11 year old shrugged at the persistence of the older girl. "Fine, if you wanna think it's broken then be my guest. I'm gonna to stay positive about mine because I don't wanna say it's broken then end up jinxing myself or something." That would have been terrible.

Arabella-Marie shrugged and said "Fine Lex if you want to think that way fine, i know mine is broken cause i landed on top of it when i came out of the portkey and i heard it break ok"

"Yikes, that's a horrible way to land!" Lex cringed as she tried to imagine something like that happening. "I only landed badly on mine trying to save my darling Felix from getting hurt." And since he was fine she had no complaints!

Arabella-Marie nodded and said "Yeah i know it was plus i was trying to keep a hold of my owl's cage and get the perfect landing but it didn't work but luckily my owl is okay just i was the one who seemed to have come off worse"

Note clutched tightly in her hand, Sierra Greingoth made her way out the castle and onto the grounds of the school. She paused just once to read the note again. Front Gate, right? Right. ...and why did she get the feeling something bad was about to happen? Maybe she was just over-thinking things, or maybe something bad really was going to happen. There was only one way to find out, though, and that wasn't standing like a statue in the middle of the grounds.

She started walking again and soon came upon the front gates. Kennedy wasn't here, though, so...had he changed his mind? She sort of lingered there, half wanting to turn around and head back in, but also wanting to wait and see if Kennedy would show up.

He was running LATE!

How could that have happened? Oh yeah, he was trying to get his hair to settle down. Kennedy had slept on one side and...well, his hair looked like it had been blow dried flat on the right side of his head. Luckily, he had gotten it back to normality, except he had lost track of the time.

Crud.

Kennedy ran toward the front gates, slowing his pace once he saw the gates and...Sierra. A grin was quickly plaster on his lips as he approached her. "Hey, Si,"...

...and why was he all of the sudden nervous?

*gulp*

Just as Sierra was starting to wonder if she'd actually been stood up, she heard the sound of someone approaching. Good, because had she been stood up, she'd have been one not-too-happy co-prefect when she got back to that common room.

Hearing his voice, Sierra found herself wide-eyed and actually running a hand through her hair and smoothing down her skirt. MERLIN. She still sometimes hated the way he did this to her. As she started spinning around, she put a smile on her face. "How'd you know my nickname?" she playfully asked. It was what she was called at home, although, when she'd been a really little kid, it'd been Si Bear. Now it was just Si.

Then she was suddenly nervous... UGH.

"So, what's up?" she asked. Yeah, she was going to cut right to the chase. Why? ...because she suddenly had this feeling he'd asked her here to tell her things just weren't working out.

Okaaaay.

Get a hold of yourself, Escalante!

Kennedy held his smile, not demonstrating how nervous he was. Sure, he was now a confident young man, but...old habits were hard to kill. He did ease up a bit when Sierra spoke. "It's your nickname?" he asked. "I guess it just sort of came to me, Si," he said, repeating it with a waggle of his eyebrow.

... And to the point.

Why do girls do that? It didn't give him time to rehearse everything he had planned.

It didn't matter though. "Well, I wanted to talk about us," he said, taking several steps in her direction. "You know I like you. I wouldn't go across the country for someone I didn't truly care for, you know," he said, referring to their summer.

Kennedy reached over for Sierra's hand as he took yet another step toward her. "What I'm trying to say is, I want us to be official. Would you like to be my girlfriend, Sierra?" There. No beating around the bush. Straightforward. Confident. And...

If she said no, he'd mostly likely pass out because he legs felt as if they've been hit with the jelly leg jinx.

Suddenly, Sierra found herself looking toward the ground, dreading what was about to come and wishing he'd just hurry up. If he'd come here to tell her things wouldn't work out, then she wished he'd just say it then leave her alone. She didn't want him to see her cry, after all. Sierra Greingoth did not cry.

At least not in front of people...

"Yeah," she finally said, looking up. "My dad started it when I was little, and now he and my mom both call me Si. Well, you, too..." She laughed that whole 'girl crushing on guy and getting nervous' laugh.

When he said he wanted to 'talk about us' it just sort of confirmed what Sierra had thought all alone. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other and looked down. "I know," she said, nodding but still looking down.

She looked up when she felt him grab a hold of her hand. It made her feel like he was feeling sorry for her, and she almost jerked her hand away. Almost. "Kennedy, you don't have to do this if you don't--..."

"What?" she asked, her eyes growing wide. "You're asking if I want to make things official?" That...was completely unexpected, and...she'd built herself up to believe he was calling things off. Seconds passed by when she just looked at him in disbelief. Then finally, she crashed into his arms and hugged him tightly. "Yes, Kennedy," she said. "I'll be your girlfriend."

Kennedy chuckled then smiled at her, though, he noticed that bit of nervousness in her laugh. He wondered what was getting her nervous. He was the one declaring everything right now...so?... Then she said she knew. Sierra knew what he was up to? Was he that easy to read? Kennedy Escalante always thought of himself as the type that was hard to read as a rock.

Wait...

Did she think he...Oh, no, heh. Kennedy nodded. He wanted them to be official and that was what he had been trying to ask her during the summer, but thing after thing happened.

He waited for an answer, his legs feeling like they were going to lose some feeling because of his nerves, but then Sierra crashed into him. A smile stretched his lips as Kennedy automatically wrapped his arms around her and spun them....

...and now he couldn't stop smiling. For the first time in months, his green eyes were shining with joy and...

...boy, he wanted to kiss her.

Kennedy glanced down at Sierra, one hand on her waist and the other going to her cheek. Her lips have always tempted him and now he could kiss them (not that he didn't want to before). "You don't know how happy you've just made me," he said, moving his hand to the back of her neck, pulling he closer and kissing her.

Dylan was exploring Hogwarts again and he hadn't come to this part of the grounds, where the front gate was. Well it was an awesome looking front gate, too bad they hadn't come through here although he had alot of fun on the lake so that was a big bonus of not coming past these doors. He wondered if he could open them and get free so that he would have left the grounds, that would be so cool if he could do that.

But he had heard that no-one could leave the grounds, WAIT! they were prisoners here?!! no that was not possible! He grabbed a stick from the ground and threw it towards the door, the stick hit the door and fizzled and burned into the air. Well it was a good thing he didnt touch the door first, so what? he couldn't leave here through this here awesome gate? That was no fun.. so he couldn't go exploring the ground AROUND Hogwarts? that was just plain old mean of those professors.

Sierra felt Kennedy change positions, and so she pulled out of the hug ever-so slightly. She et her arms drape around his waist, but at the same time, she was able to look him in the eye now. She laughed when he spun them. Merlin, this really was just like the fairy tales, and here she was thinking that was all just in the books.

When she noticed his hand going for a cheek, her eyes got REALLY WIDE, and she felt her breath catch in her throat. Oh, my dear MERLIN. Was he about to do...what she thought he was about to do? Her heart started pounded, and she kept having to remind herself to breathe.

Breathe, Sierra. Just breathe...

"Me?" she said, although it felt like she had a wad of cotton shoved in her throat. "I...I've never really cared how people felt about me until now, you know." Then his hand was on her neck, and although she wasn't exactly experienced in this sort of thing, she knew it was time to just shut up. Her lips met his, and she kissed him in return. Oh, my MERLIN. This was happening. It was really happening.

Her FIRST kiss...

Ariana stood by the front gates waiting for damon it was friday afternoon and they were heading off school grounds and she couldnt more more excited to go away for just a few hours and to see him again

Damon walked up with a sigh, he was running late and his eyes were brown, but he actually had a reason to be, "Hey, Ari." He hugged her, "How are you?"

Ariana gave Damon a hug back excited to see him and not minding that he was late "what's wrong Damon?" she asked noticing his eyes right away

Damon sighed, "I ran into Taylor on the way here and... It didn't end well." He pulled the locker he'd gotten Taylor out of his pocket, the entire thing shattered and destroyed, "Make a long story short, I told about us and she... She said she wish she'd never met me and threw this at my feet."

ariana frowned and hugged him again "Im Sorry." she pulled away and looked at him her arms still resting on his shoulders "just think that was the first & worst part of the bandaid. the rest should be a lot easier then that alright?" she looked at him with a frown still on her face she wanted him to be happier nowww

Damon nodded and hugged her back, his eyes growing slightly lighter, "It was... I'm sure no one else can be as bad as she was."

"I'm sorry she was so hard on you, but that's most likely the worst so dont worry, alright?" she put her hands on the sides of his face and noticed his eyes going lighter she couldnt help but smile "there you go, just calm down love." Whoops did she just call him love hehehe ohh well

"I'm not worried, remember? I promised you that." He smiled at her, and when she called him 'love' his face paled slightly, "I... I'll be fine as long as you're here with me," He smiled again, laying his hands on top of hers, "Ready to head out?"

"ok good no worrying." she said and noticed his face pale slightly and smiled. with his hands on top of hers on his face she nodded "ready as i'll ever be."

Damon smiled, "Then by all means," He pulled out his invisibility cloak.

she smirked "so this is how you sneak away from hogsmead every weekend."

Damon smirked with a small nod, "Guess you caught me," He chuckled.
