I am looking for A. Lainey. Help me find it--- I mean, her.
Professor Pink | Mrs. Bruce Wayne | I'm on a Goat | Glitterpuff | Dumbledore's Defense Squad | BHB
Anastasia briskly made her way down the train, all the way from the comfy, cozy, squishy and STUFFED Prefect's compartment to the compartment she was the least fond of: the food trolley. The Bunz usually avoided this section of the train at all costs, because she KNEW how tasty the candy was here and she KNEW how many calories all of it contained and she KNEW she did not have the metabolism she used to have when she was a Hogwarts student who ate all this sort of candy. She also KNEW that this was, in general, a sticky and crowded place.
Which was why it was difficult to find one former Ravenclaw amongst all the children here. "Professor Lainey?" the Headmistress called out somewhat timidly, peeking her head into the compartment. Maybe she could coax Lainey out before she went in herself... maybe. "Professor Laaaaaineyyyyyy?"
Would it be unethical to bribe a student to fetch her the Vice President of the Board of Governors?

But Cassia didn’t seem to be thinking the same way as she did. The young Slytherin was once again hyperactive, eager to talk about almost anything. Even the important people on the train, about which she probably didn’t know much… ‘Ehhh… right’, the fifth year just mumbled, walking away from the food trolley. But what was the girl saying?
Hmmm.
Looks like she hadn’t told Cassia about the cat.
‘Yes’, she nodded, a bit surprised at how the young Slytherin was reacting. Heh. Just after having heard that she had a cat. ‘Sorry… I though I had told you’ There were too many people she had talked to about Jinx, mostly because she had to apologize for her cat for having destroyed something. Huh? Where was who?‘Jinx’, she corrected the girl. Not Finx. ‘He’s in the compartment’, the fifth year said as she looked in that direction. ‘He’s probably playing with Pluto’, she mused. Yep. The cats hadn’t seen each other in a long time.
She eventually drew her attention away from the compartment door, and looked back at Cassia. The look on the younger girl’s face was simply… priceless. So she loved cats? ‘You should come say hello’, she suggested. Of course Ari wouldn’t mind her joining them. Or, if the Slytherin wanted to get back to her own compartment, Gwen had nothing against it. After all, she could play with Jinx any time at Hogwarts.
Erm. Back to the chocolate frogs.
‘If you want the card, you can have it’, she said, willing to give Cassia the card from her choclate frog. Her eyes fell on the Albus Dubledore card the Slytherin was holding, and then she noticed the quite indifferent expression on the younger girl’s face.
Anywaaaay…
Next, Gwendolyn looked out the window, only to realize they would be getting to Howgarts soon. ‘Not long before we arrive’, the Ravenclaw told Cassia. Maybe they should be heading back to the compartments? Anyhow, Gwen hoped she would get to see her at the feast.
Cassia pocketed the card of that old man who keeps appearing. Albus was his name? And started unwrapping another package. And turned to look at Gwen again. "No you haven't told me before that you have a cat!" She said crossing her arms across her chest while she munched on a piece of chocolate . It would have looked like a dramatic pose ,had she not been eating that chocolate childishly. She swallowed it and tried to prevent herself of reaching for another package. "I have two cats at home and we get along a lot!" Wait, did she just say that she gets along with cats! "I mean I love cats a lot and I like playing with them." She said. Well, that was better. Not that Gwen wasn't used to Cassia saying weird things. And yeah she got the name wrong obviously, "Why would you name it Jinx? "Cassia asked curiously. Finx sounded a whole better than Jinx.
And now that was a familiar name, "Pluto? Ari's cat?" Cassia said excitedly. It would be awesome if she got to play with two cats together. "By the way I met Ari at the platform." The twelve year old started babbling. "She's really nice. And guess what ! I didn’t tell her that you were shopping for her gift the other day." Cassia said proudly. She was so proud of herself that she was able to keep her mouth shut about something she had known! She rarely does that!
"Can I go and see the two cats?" Cassia asked excitedly. She didn’t want to pose on the two best friends but she really wanted to see the cats. "I'll just go and check on my owl in the compartment then follow you to where you are staying." She said. She had almost forgotten that she had left that owl alone on the cage. But it will be alright.
Looking at the card in Gwen's hand, Cassia nodded. "Sure I'd love to." She said. And actually she was surprised how Gwen was giving the cards away just like that. Like they didn’t cost anything.

And just when she was pocketing the card she got from the chocolate frog she heard someone shouting. The curious girl turned to the source of the voice to find that it was a woman. A red-haired woman whom Cassia haven’t seen before. The twelve year old stepped closer to the woman. "Um..I wouldn’t recommend shouting you know," She said. "I heard there are important people on board so I don’t think they would approve this." She said thoughtfully. IT might have sounded wise had the girl not been short and childish-looking. "Besides there's a new headmistress and that's not a nice impression to give." The clueless girl said. Well yeah she could think sometimes . "By the way do you need help? "She finally asked. Cassia could help as she was small and it allowed her to slid between people easily and without being noticed!

Driven by his insatiable hunger and rumbly tumbly, Dustin wandered around to the food trolley.
As soon as he was within distance, he noticed that the food he so desperately craved was BLOCKED FROM VIEW by a....simply...ravishing woman. Or at least he thought she was ravishing. He didn't really know what that word meant, but it sounded right. What he actually meant was #veryimporantlooking. If there was one thing he had ever learned from his uncle, it was that very important-looking people are important and they should be acquired as friends. Sort of like a collection.
With only his previous engagement with the two boys in the back of the train to glean any people-skills from, he proceeded to walk straight into this woman. This was how people met each other, right? And to put the icing on the cake (geddit? My username has "cake" in it. I'm so meta), Dustin decided to start playing a little game he liked to call The Obvious Game.
HOW DO YOU PLAY, you ask? Well, you simply shout things at people that are obvious about them, such as, "YOU HAVE RED HAIR."

All this talk about new Divination Professors and adults being tricky made it even harder for her to wait for the train ride to be over. It was already decided that she and Dylan would carve their names somewhere and if Ari was up to it she could do it too! It would be soooo much fun.
She saw a certain look creep onto Emm's face and couldn't help but chuckle a bit. She loved when people got that look; it just said that they had given up on trying to persuade her...which was good because if it took all train ride she would show this lady that she was Ravenclaw material and then she would not have to eat the sorting hat. Yes. There would be none of that because she was just that sure.
"So then what house were you in Ms. Lainey Person?" had she herself been a Ravenclaw...that might have explained why she could tell. Glancing over when the door to the compartment open she saw another woman--Merlin! Another one!" She exclaimed before she could stop herself. She just didn't expect to run into two adults--she wasn't even expecting to run into one!
"Are you here for candy too?" Oh was she here to sniff her just like the other woman then tell her she wouldn't be a Ravenclaw. If so then she could just leave.

Ariella was startled when another head popped into the candy tolley area thingy, and older woman looking for Lainey.
Wait a minute! Lainey? Anjelica Lainey?
Where had Ari heard that name before? Now that she thought about it that name was really familiar, she was sure she had read it somewhere or something...
"Anjelica Lainey..." Ariella muttered out loud until it came to her. Of Course! Ari had read her name in the Daily Prophet only hours before her father brought her to Kings Cross! She was part of some extra protection that was riding with them to Hogwarts, something about the Board of Goveners...
Ari leaned over to Alexa and Dylan and whispered in a hushed tonw, "Guys! I've heard of this Lainey lady! She was in the Daily Prophet, part of some Board of Goveners..."
Now that Ari thought about it, Alexa's bet didn't seem to be looking so good...

As Em was standing there chatting with Max, the firsties, and Miss Lainey, she heard someone calling out for the woman they had all been talking to and about. And she didn’t fail to catch the title used. “Professor Lainey is in here.” She said before seeing that it was the redheaded lady from the prefect’s compartment. And then it clicked. The new headmistress. And of course she had drawn all the first years attention, and their comments. Merlin, If one of them called her the Hogs Head now, and blamed her. She didn't even want to think about that.

Hearing Emm repeat the word Professor made it finally click that this teacher might very well have been a Professor--Gasp! What if she really was the new Divination Professor and she had already seen that she wouldn't get into Ravenclaw. Aww man...she wasn't looking forward to eating the sorting hat at all. She looked from Lainey to the red headed woman. "So then...are you a professor too?" Wouldn't that have been terrible. Two Professors in one ride was far more dreadful than two stow away adults looking for a nice ride out to the country....

Dylan was glad that this kid was not banned from eating candy.. cause that would be horrible! Waiting his turn? "Well its good that you aren't banned cause that would be just horrible. You don't have to wait.. you could just buy the candy" like he would have done if he hadn't met his friends here. "But I guess you wouldn't do that since you said you weren't in any hurry" he gave a small smile
He listened as this kid explained why he was sad and stuff, Dylan couldn't help but see why this kid was sad and everything. If he had a best friend and she left he too would probably be just as sad as this kid. He nodded "Yeah I guess it would be weird not riding the train with a friend that you have ridden the train with many times. I mean I haven't been in your shoes but I can imagine.. I think" well he wasnt sure that he was imagining it right but .. eh.. he was trying "My name is Dylan Jacobs.. you can call me DJ.. if you want.. so... what year you in?" he asked trying to make conversation with this guy now.. since they were talking and this guy seemed to be talking about his feelings or something.. about missing his friend and stuff.
Max raised his gaze from the floor to observe the boy. It would have been horrible to be banned from candy. He wouldn't have known what to do with himself - he would've had to resort to his books to keep himself busy for the ride. When the boy introduced himself, a smile formed at the corners of Max's mouth. He removed one of his hands from his pockets and extended it to Dylan. "Pleasure to meet you, Dylan... DJ." Whichever he preferred. "I'm Max. I'll be a seventh year this term. Are... you going to be a first year?" Max was superb at remembering faces, and he didn't recall passing this one in the school before. He could've missed him, though, especially if he was a Slytherin. For some reason, Max didn't have a single Slytherin friend. Weird.

Was that why he had been watching them? “You know, Its not nearly as long when your making friends” Or, babysitting firsties, She thought.
Turning back to Emmaleigh, Max tilted his head slightly. Was that... a suggestion? An invitation? Was he already in the process of making friends? Either way, Max found himself smiling once again. "Good idea. I'm Max," he repeated, offering his hand to Emmaleigh this time. "I remember you..." Awkward pause. Another head tilt. "Sorry if... I'm incorrect or being rude by inquiring, but weren't you... not here last term?" His cheeks flushed red at the possibility of simply not noticing that she had been there. But he was pretty sure he never saw her once. Not once. And that was WEIRD, considering they had always been in the same year.

Reason: Max MEANT to introduce himself. He did.
She smiled over at Dylan when he suggested that they should maybe bet with something else... As much as Ari loved candy, she would so gamble with this, "Well if we did make a bet, what would it be with?" Ari's father probably wouldn't be happy if she made a stupid bet not as stupid as Alexa's bet, but it seemed like a lot of fun so Ari was all for it!
She had been listening to the whole, carving your name into a desk thing for a while now and agreed silently to herself that it sounded pretty cool, but there was a good chanse of them getting caught... Just then an idea came to Ariella and she voiced it aloud, "Well if you don't carve your name into a desk, why not something else like, the leg of your bed or something a bit more... discrete!"

Then Emm explained the whole thing to Ari about auras, she was glad she did because she hadn't been very sure about them either...
"Wait...." Emm had lost her there. "So you mean that not everyone who's smart ends up in Ravenclaw?! But--but isn't that like the normal thing?" Great....hearing this made her even less sure about the little bet she had made. She shot a glance up at the woman wondering if she had known that all alone. She probably did, in fact Lex was now convinced that she had only made the bet because she wanted someone to eat the hat--though that wouldn't be the case because she would end up in Ravenclaw!
"Hey I'm standing right here!" She protested, trying not to laugh as she listened to Dylan and Ari deciding what to bet on. "A little confidence boost would be nice, unless you guys wanna give me some candy to make swallowing the hat easier." though she was sure she wouldn't have to.
Le Gasp! "So you mean even when there's nothing in it for me I still have to be polite? But that's no fun at all!" She turned to Dylan when he said that it didn't have to be for nothing. For a moment she followed his gaze as it landed on the trolley and knew instantly that they were thinking along the same lines. "Yeah...it doesn't have to be for nothing; give us some candy and we'll consider it." She said with a wide grin.
And again she was agreeing with Dylan. They would have to make their mark on the school somehow...but then Emm was telling them that they might not have been allowed to. "Aww, are there any things that we can do?" It just seemed like everything had rules. No climbing the Hogwarts Express. No being rude to grown ups. No carving names into the stuff at school. Merlin it was all too much!
Now there was an idea. "That's brilliant Ari! When we get into the same house we can stay up and carve our names into the stuff in the dormitories and maybe even the common room!" She could be content with that. Nod.
Even with all the talking she didn't miss the subtly glance that Garrett took at her. She flashed him a wide smile. "Don't tell me you think I'll end up eating the hat too."

Dylan thought for a little bit "I think we should bet with something that we dont mind betting with" just in case they lost the bet, but he couldnt think of anything like that. "Can you think of anything like that?" he asked Ariella, maybe she could think of something that he could not think of.
He then heard Ariella talk about carving his name somewhere discrete.. his face lit up "Yeah! thats a great idea Ariella.. somewhere where some people wouldnt even both looking" he smiled looking at Ariella knowing that this first year of his was going to be a fun one with these girls around that knew just what to do for fun!
Dylan too was surprised to hear that it would be possible that even despite being smart it was possible that Alexa may not end up in Ravenclaw, so it could be possible that she may not end up in Ravenclaw afterall even though she was a smart girl. Oh boy maybe it was time to re-think the bet that Alexa had made with the woman. Though he hoped that she would be smart enough for Ravenclaw
He then chuckled a little as Alexa stated the obvious that she was standing right there.. "We can see that" he said to her as she mentioned confidence "I think you have more than enough confidence boost, but.. ok if you want some more then I guess we could dish it out" he chuckled as she talked about eating the hat "You wont need the candy cause you wont have to eat the hat" he said giving her the confidence boost that she asked for even if he was not sure himself after the talk about being smart and not getting into Ravenclaw.
He listened as she too was surprised that there was nothing in it for them to being polite.. but once she saw what he was looking at.. they were on the same page. He knew that they were after she demanded the candy for being polite.. good she got his hint that was good. "Yeah we will consider it" no guarantees that he would be polite.. that depended on whether the candy they got was worth the trouble of being polite.
He saw that even Alexa was not too happy at being told that they couldnt leave their mark in the school somewhere. He nodded as she asked if there was anything they could do "Anything fun that is... is there anything we can do for fun" he added.. cause he knew that there would be probably lots they could do but nothing that could be considered as fun. So he had to specify fun so that they would know what he was talking about.
He smiled as he heard Alexa agree with Ariella too.. yes carve up the place to own the place.. now if that was ok he couldnt wait to get to school now and carve up the common room and stuff. He then listened as she asked the other boy whether he thought that she might have to eat the hat.. well he hoped thats not what he was thinking, cause that was totally against what they were thinking about.
He listened as Alexa asked the Lainey woman what house she was in before another adult turned up.. oh great! another one that they would have to deal with telling them what they could and could not do. He looked at Alexa in surprise as she said something out loud which he was sure was meant to stay in her head.
He then heard Ariella whisper to them that she had read about the Lainey woman in the Daily Prophet.. part of some Board of Governers? oh no.. oh no.. oh no.. they were going to be in trouble again and Alexa's bet! this Lainey woman would just LOVE to see Alexa eat the hat. This Lainey woman being part of the board of governers or whatever was not a good thing in his mind. Not the way to make a good impression before having a little fun with them. Well he would try to watch what he said cause he was not wanting to get kicked out of school even before he had gotten there.
He then listened as both Alexa and Emmaleigh talked to the new woman as well as Lainey.. well maybe now they could get some more information into who they were and what they were doing on the train. Well he hoped so it was enough that they were going round and round with this and getting no definite answers apart from what Ariella had read in the Prophet.. good for her at least that part was solved.

Whichever he preferred. "I'm Max. I'll be a seventh year this term. Are... you going to be a first year?" Max was superb at remembering faces, and he didn't recall passing this one in the school before. He could've missed him, though, especially if he was a Slytherin. For some reason, Max didn't have a single Slytherin friend. Weird.
Not once. And that was WEIRD, considering they had always been in the same year.
...And then there was a woman calling for Lainey. Max turned to see... fiery red hair. TWO redheads in one place, but neither of them were Ellie. Frown. Max turned his attention back to Emmaleigh and Dylan only for a moment before looking at the woman once more. WAIT. Wasn't that...?
He looked at Max as he saw the guy smile a little.. well that was good. Maybe just talking and possibly having fun will fix this boy right up! He just needed to find some fun people like Dylan to hang around and he would be back to his normal self in no time.. whatever that normal self was. Dylan saw as he extended his hand and introduced himself too.
Dylan shook his hand which was big compared to his small ones "Yeah same here Max. You can call me either.. some call me Dylan and others DJ" or some other funky name they could think of. He heard him say he was in seventh year.. ooh what do you know.. another oldie that he was getting to know. Well the oldies werent bad so he didnt mind talking to them.. if they could have fun too then he wouldnt mind hanging out with them either.
Dylan nodded "Yeah this.. this is my first year. Really exciting.. just trying to imagine what spells we will be doing.. what potions we will be making.. stuff like that." he smiled "Did you feel like that in your first year?" he asked him wondering if it was just him that was getting this excited over going to Hogwarts. He then listened as Max talked to Emmaleigh too.
Turning back to Emmaleigh, Max tilted his head slightly. Was that... a suggestion? An invitation? Was he already in the process of making friends? Either way, Max found himself smiling once again. But he was pretty sure he never saw her once. Not once. And that was WEIRD, considering they had always been in the same year.
“Yeah, I’m brilliant.” Em said as she flashed the boy a smile. Taking the boy’s hand “And I’m Emmaleigh, so now we’re formally introduced.” but, it seemed a little bit silly to be introducing herself to someone who had been in her classes for several years. The red head did blush at the boy’s comment. She didn’t think many people would have notice she disappeared. Her friends yes, but not someone she had never actually spoken to. The girl nodded. “Last term and a half actually.”
Even though she didn’t know if she should ask, but she just couldn’t help herself. “So who is this friend that’s not here?”
DID I SAY SHE WAS SHOUTING? <--- Now THAT is shouting xD ps sorry she's mean....

"I'm NOT shouting," Anastasia crossly corrected the little girl in front of her. She gave the child a head-to-toe look and then stepped into the compartment fully, folding one thin arm over the other.
Then she smiled, quite like the Chesire cat pulling off a prank on Alice. "I AM the new Headmistress, my dear. I'm quite certain, therefore, that I approve of the impression I give. You, on the other hand... might want to re-think the first impression you just made."
She brushed by the girl, ignoring her offer for help. No, she did not need help from children whose brains had been emptied over the summer. No thank you.

Anastasia stumbled and fell forward, landing upright (just barely) with one hand on the wall. She flinched as some CHILD's voice broke her ears, and slowly rotated her red head in the direction of the shouter.
"Excuuuuuuuse youuuuu," the Headmistress delivered in a tone that could freeze a fresh Popsicle on a hot summer day. She pushed herself off the wall and straightened her lovely new blazer and pin. "But you need to use your indoor voice."
And yes, she DID have lovely red hair. Thank you for noticing.

"I realize that now, thank you," the Headmistress pushed past this one to work her way toward Lainey. Merlin, she would drag the older woman if she had too.

Ohhhhh!!! The Headmistress! "So then you're Hogs Head!" She was wondering when she would get to meet her and the time seemed to be now! Wow...she didn't look like the kind of person to like being called that but if the older students said she did then it must have been true. "So why do you like being called that by the way? She took the woman's hand and gave it a firm shake. "It's nice to meet you Hogs Head." Nod.

Lex blinked twice as the lights went off...she would ahev asked what was happening when they sudenly flicked back on. She looked over at the Lainey woman then the other one with red hair hoping one of them could tell her what happened but just then they went off again.
Felix shuffled in her head but made no other movements.
This time when the lights went back on it didn't leave her feeling any better. The train! It was slowing down!!!! Perhaps not by much at first b-but it was slowing down!
Seriously?! Of all the times for something to go wrong! Just when she was going to be entering her first year and having the adventure of a lifetime. This couldn't be happening! It couldn't! How was she supposed to go and get sorted into Ravenclaw. Someone had to find out what was going on.

Max's smile broadened and he firmly shook Dylan's hand. A nice boy, he was. And he WAS a first year! Very good. "Oh yeah, first year is a lot of fun. A lot of... fun stuff happens. Lots of exploring to do, lots of new adventures to take. It was probably one of my favorite terms, just because there's so much to learn and experience. You'll like it." He dug his hand back in his pocket. "My parents - both wizards - kind of filled me in on what to expect - I was the nervous type - so I kind of knew what was coming, but it was still a lot of fun." He had Nia Newtington and Ellie Stone to thank for that.

Was she serious? Max wasn't sure, but her attitude was amusing nonetheless. "You are." He cleared his throat uncomfortably after statement passed his lips. He wasn't trying to, err, flirt or anything of the sort, and he hoped she didn't see it that way. He was just being kind.
AHA! So he WAS right. That was a relief. "Ah, thought so. I'm sorry to hear that." He almost dared to ask where she had gone, but thought such an inquiry from a stranger might be rude. "I'm glad you're back in time for one last term. It's gotta be the best."
She wanted to know about Ellie? Max rubbed at the back of his neck, trying to figure out how to explain it without getting worked up when...

Following brief darkness, Max looked up at the lights above them, hand still on the back of his neck. And then the lights were off again, and then back on... and... Max reached to make sure his wand was still in his back pocket. "Are there... light switches anywhere? Is someone messing around?" His gaze shot to the woman with the fiery red hair and he instinctively moved in her direction as if she needed protecting, even though she looked like she was going to VOMIT all over them. "It's okay," he told their new Headmistress. Right?

Oh good Merlin, what was this. Anastasia drew her hand back from the girl like she had been infected. "Pardon you?" she stared at the girl. Her name was NOT Hog's Head and she did NOT appreciate being called that and she would NOT tolerate such a nickname EITHER.
"Who told you told you to call me that?" She questioned in a low tone, moving her hand from the wall to the girl's shoulder in a vice-like grip. "Give me their name so that I can throw them in the dungeons deliver their punishment."

Uh....but....that was what Emm said she should have called her...wasn't that her name....?
The first sign that something was wrong was her drawing away her hand quite suddenly. She looked up at the woman in shock as she gripped her firmly by her shoulder and demanded that she tell her who had told her to call her that. It might not have been a big deal and she would have told her if she hadn't said she would punish the culprit.
Being careful not to glance over at Emm she kept her eyes fixed on the woman who seemed even more menacing now.
Gulp.

Mhmm... right, well, Anastasia wasn't deaf, either, so she was only mildly amused, at best, by the girls' soft whispers back and forth. If one could even call that 'whispering.'

Make certain everyone SITS DOWN somewhere, whether it is on the compartment floor or in a seat; I need you all down and out of harm's way."
In case there was any harm, that was; with them all seated she could easily look down a corridor or into a compartment and see that all was okay.
"Only stand up if something is amiss, all right? No wands." No magic, not yet. They weren't at school yet anyway.

For a moment Lex just stoof there watching the lady walk away. Waiting for her...? Why would she be waiting for her...? Maybe she shouldn't think too much about it.
Not that she had time to as just then the train came to a sudden stop, sending her hurdling towards the floor with her screeching feline. She tried landing in such a way that she would squish him then got into a seat position on the floor. "Just what was that?!" She shouted incredulously. Whatever it was it was going to mess up the remainder of her ride! She looked to the others to see if they were alright before trying to stand again.
"And don't tell me it's nothing because something had to have stopped the train."

All Em could think about was how much trouble she would be in when Lexa told on her. When the firstie didn’t the girl had to say she was impressed, and felt awful.
The girl nodded at Headmistress’s request. Right, she could do that. They could do that. “Yes Ma’am, Got it.” She gripped her wand a little tighter though. “No wands?” Gulp, “Okay.” What if something else happened though?
As the headmistress left, the seventh year turned to those in the compartment. She didn’t know what Lainey was going to do, but she knew what she was supposed to do. “Okay guys.” She said loudly over the commotion the kids were making. “The Headmistress wants everybody to sit down. How about we all line the edges of the compartment.” Taking a breath, she continued. “She doesn’t want any wand use, especially you first years.” Because Merlin, that could make things like a million times worse. Shooting Lexa a look, Em added quietly to the girl, “I owe you one.”
Taking a seat in the door way, she gripped her wand and peered down the corridor. Then suddenly, there was a loud noise outside and the train stopped, making her rock forward. "Everyone okay?"

A sudden loud grinding noise can be heard coming from outside, right before the train shudders to a quick stop, sending students, luggage, and animals toppling out of place.
Before Ari could sit down like Emm had said she froze in her spot, her feet glued to the ground and her eyes wide as a loud grinding sound echoed through out the train. Then suddenly it all lurched to a hault and Ari flew toward that floor...
"AHHH!" Ari shreiked as she fell onto her stomach. She groanded and pushed herself up into a sitting position on the floor. Archer, who's cage had been set in the cornor of the compartment earlier when she had went to check on him, was now screaching loudly in alarm. "What was that? Why did the train stop!?"
Ariella was sure that wasn't how the train was supposed to stop when they arrived at Hogwarts so what had caused the sudden stopage....
