How could he have been so stupid?! And why did he shout at her? Stupid wind, it was all the winds fault!

With a deep red blush on his face, Daichi made his way to the castle. Wanting to hide in a corner and never show his face again. He was hopeless when it came to love.

Yes..i will....

Those words seemed to have been swept by the wind as it filled his ears. Instantly, the Slytherin halted his steps as seemed frozen on the spot. She...what? Turning around, eyes huge, he stared at Indy for a few steps away. "Y-you...yes?" he stuttered and scratched the back of his non itching neck. He took a few steps closer. His body seemed to want to walk back to Indy but his mind was a bit slower as it was still hearing the *yes , i will* in his head. "You..you really want to go out with me?"

Ameliah frowned. "Actually, I never thought of that," she said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a very charred-looking piece of parchment along with her self-inking quill. She wrote quickly to Fergus (since she didn't trust Eimear as far as Mel could throw her), asking about it. If this was another of Eimear's plans, she'd brag to him, right? Still frowning, Ameliah carefully folded the parchment and placed it into her pocket, whispering "Fergus McHare, please," to it. Am nodded, "Yeah, like Daichi!!!!!" She still needed to check to see how her Snake friend was doing since the Duck Pond dissappeared. Poor duck boy!!!

After casting a quick Finite on his jellified hand, Max stretched both his arms out in front of him, gave a yawn, and straightened up on the bench. He flexed his non-wand hand, ensuring that it was back to normal, then he brandished his wand once more.

Should... he try it nonverbal? Was that too dangerous, considering his confidence level?

Probably.

But he was going to try anyway. Without giving it much more thought, Max jabbed his wand toward his hand and nonverbally casted, Torparticus! Oddly enough, he felt the same, mild tingly sensation as he had the first time he tried it verbally. Max shook the hand lazily, casted a nonverbal Finite on it to make sure it went back to normal, and gave his hand a stern look, as if it was somehow his hand's fault that it hadn't fully worked.

Maybe he had to stress on the way it was supposed to be pronounced a bit more. It seemed to work out that way last time, too, right? So, before lifting his wand to try once more, Max repeated, Torp-ar-ticus, torp-ar-ticus, torp-ar-ticus, a few times in his head.

Shortly following the third time of ensuring he was thinking through it correctly, Max jabbed his wand toward his hand and casted, Torp-ar-ticus!

The full numb, tingly, prickly sensation returned to the joints of his hand, and he wrinkled his nose at it. "Enough of that," he said with a head shake. "Finite." His hand returned to normal, and Max rose to his feet.

Too much Defense Against the Dark Arts practice for one day. He was hungry.

Sophie was confuused. What? Mordred was... sad? He was SAD?? BUT WHY??? He was with that... girl now, why would he be sad? WHY??

But before Sophie could ask WHYYYY, a random boy showed up with a camera and started taking pictures of them. Wha? Sophie was even MORE confused now and couldn't help but not act normal at all and frown when the picture was taken. That was weird.

Ooohh! That was Mick! He looked much older! And that was a nice head of hair as well not as beautiful as Mordred's, but that was impossible anyway. Cue meaningful look and eyebrow wiggling towards Ella. Teehee. "Hi, Mick!" And... bye, Mick?

Huh?

"What was that, Laura?" The young badger looked at her friend, clearly confused. "Why did you ask him to leave already?" Didn't Laura like to hang out with... you know, THE BOY SHE LIKED??

Her friend never ceased to weird her out surprise her.

Laura smiled as Mick said see her on their date, she couldn't wait for that and she had a dress already picked out for it, she was going to try and look stunning for it.

Laura gave Ella a playful nudge. "I told you he was awesome!!" Laura giggled. "He just loves taking photo's that's how we met, I accidently got into one of his photo's and we sort of hit off after that." Laura smiled, romantic or what.

Sophie was mad with her. "I think Ella wants to say something to us without an audience. "Isn't that right Ella?" Laura smirked, "come on bestie out with it, before I tickle you again." Laura giggled, she had got information once that way, she wouldn't be affraid to do it again.

Laura smiled at Sophie. "Next time, I'll let him stay longer." Laura promised to Sophie. "But now I want to know what Ella is hiding." Laura really did want to know that.

"Yep, definitely going to go there." Nora would soon run out of candy, so she'd better go to Hogsmeade during one of those weekends. If Cora came with her, it'd be even better; to have someone to talk to on the way, and maybe stick around more than usual.

When Cora asked her if he'd even been there before, she giggled. "Yes, I have, many times. I live there." GRIN. It was also the reason she didn't go there very often because... well, she'd seen the place enough in these past fours years she'd been living there. "Is there any place you'd like to go together?" Exploring was always fun. You'll never know where you can find new places.

Kat was getting tired though. But she was still feeling adventurous and cool. The Courtyard was one of her favorite places as well. Because she just likes it. Well, it had a different environment for her but oh well. She liked unique. And there's nothing she can do to change her mind... That was confusing.

Mhm. Almost done. "Torparticus, Kat said. And with another jab, Kat's wand somehow let out light. Not a beam or something like that, just a small light. Enough to make sure she was capable of making magic. Cool. Now... Pathways, I guess?

A short gap between classes had Vickers deciding to try another spell out, and he positioned himself on one of the benches in the Courtyard. He opened his book up and the dueling dummies leapt out again. He aimed at one of the dummies and uttered ” Torparticus!”

…. And he missed. By a wide side of the barn. Maybe it was because of the fact that the dummy was only about a foot tall and was moving.

He heard the clocktower ring for the next class. Seizing the book he slammed it shut and raced back towards the castle.

Minerva listened as Am said she had never thought of that. Weird.. that would have been the first thing she would have thought of, well unless this friend was a very very close friend then maybe not. She would have never thought of Harvs trying to do something like that, so she understood. She watched as Am started writing something.. Possibly a letter to see if Min was right. She might need to know the answer to that as well.

Then she smiled, "Yes, like Daichi, or even Ariana, but there are plenty of others as well. He will make loads of friends. Every house has there great people." She knew that was true, because she had a ton of friends from every house and they were all more then great.

Harvey walked out to the lake and was about to sit down at his usual place when he saw a very familiar red headed girl, keep your distance Harvey or you going to be tackled to the ground. He told himself, though he actually wouldn't mind, afterall he wouldn't want all that practice that he ad done to go to waste now would he?

He walked over to her and s,lied "Hey Rons, not been hiding from me I hope" he said with his usual chuckle. He then looked over at the lake and then back at her "How you been?" he asked her wondering how she as been and what she had been upto since they ad hung put which was quite a while ago

Ronnie looked up as she heard a familiar voice call her Rons. She grinned, wrapping her friend in a big hug. "HARVEEEEEEEEEEY!" she cried, squeezing him tightly. "I swear, I just never see you anymore!" she said as she finally let him go. She frowned. It was true, she rarely saw her friend anywhere.

"I've been pretty good," she replied with a small nod, "what about you?"

Ronnie looked up as she heard a familiar voice call her Rons. She grinned, wrapping her friend in a big hug. "HARVEEEEEEEEEEY!" she cried, squeezing him tightly. "I swear, I just never see you anymore!" she said as she finally let him go. She frowned. It was true, she rarely saw her friend anywhere.

"I've been pretty good," she replied with a small nod, "what about you?"

He was nearly thrown back onto the ground with her hug that he knew was coming, and with that familiar stretching of his name! "I know... I know.. alot has been going on and.. well I am here now.. even if it is later than planned" he chuckled as she finally let him go! He looked at her at least she was the same Ronnie that he had known for years still hyper and excitable!

He smiled and nodded "I am glad that you have been good" he said as she asked him the same back.. he surpressed a grin as he instantly thought of Ella "I have been pretty good too!" he said looking at her wondering if she really was ok... but she did seem to genuinely be ok.. which was good.. he was glad.

Ronnie smiled. "Glad to hear!" she said as he said he'd been pretty good.

"So, you and Ella..." she smirked, raising her eyebrows up and down. "How are you two doing?" she asked with a grin. She'd been dying to tease Harvey about Ella ever since she found out about them. And today was the day. Mwahahahahahaaa....

So Mick liked taking photos, eh? Ella could appreciate that and she smiled at her friends. "Yeah, photography is cool. It's funny that that's how you met." But funny in a cute way, not funny Ha-Ha.

Wait so Laura had sent Mick away because of her? Ella shrugged, not knowing what to say. "Well I'm not hiding anything, exactly. But I guess I didn't want an audience for this so...it kind of works out." She doubted Sophie wanted the whole world to know about her thing for Mordred.

Speaking of hair boy, Ella turned her attention back to her friend. "Soph? He said he wanted to know if you were okay and if you were upset with him..." But clearly the boy was clueless about her friend's feelings or it would have been painfully obvious why she was acting the way she was. "I asked him if he'd talked to you about it and he...well he said he can't cause you're avoiding him. He really did seem kind of gutted about it..." But so was Soph...because she'd really liked the boy and he'd clearly been oblivious about the whole thing. "I...he asked me to talk to you for him so here I am...and that's um...all."

He smiled as she said that she was glad to hear that he had been good, but he was not expecting what she was going to say next. Though he should have expected it since everyone now knew that they were together. He instantly smiled as she talked about him and Ella.. that too with a grin "Umm.. we are doing.. really good. Enjoy hanging out with each other no matter what we are doing, its like hanging out with a friend basically.. just a little more.. closer" in that they would hold hands and stuff.. but otherwise it was basically the same

Why did he feel like Ronnie was not just asking but had something else on her mind when she started asking about him and Ella.. he was now very curious and very aware that something was up her sleeve for sure!

Ameliah felt a burning in her pocket and she pulled out the parchment, almost facepalming at the words scrawled across it. Yeah, she did. "I can't believe she would...." She was shaking a little. How could she have believed Eimear? Harvey didn't seem like he was having problems.... "I'm so stupid," she muttered.

There was nothing to do. Lex had walked the castle twice over, looking for something to occupy her time but found herself by the fountain in the courtyard feeling just as bored as when she'd started walking. This was what happened when one was locked out of their common room. SIGH.

She took a seat on the edge of the fountain and gazed at her reflection through the water. Behold. The face of boredom. Looking around to make sure no one was really looking she pulled off her shoes and socks then stuck her feet in the water. Might as well while she was here; what else was there to do? Lex began kicking her feet lightly in the water, making little splashes as she did. This was the most entertainment she would receive unless things changed quickly.

With her feet busily splashing about she glanced around the courtyard, hoping to find at least one familiar face she could drag into a conversation--Laura being the exception of course. If she saw her she'd let her keep walking. Yup.

Homework never end that' why Cassia decided to take a break after spending like fifteen minutes trying to write an essay. So she left the great hall the place she has been spending most of her time in since the common rooms were still locked! No cats were available to play with too so she started wandering around the castle absent-mindedly letting her feet taking her where ever they wanted to. She liked walking like that without having to think about anything. Her brain had been hurting her because of lessons and stuff. Well, the term was about to end....like after two months.

Her hands pushed into her pockets, the second-year stood and looked around to find herself in the courtyard. Wow, she didn't remember heading here. She shrugged and proceeded. The weather was getting warmer since it was spring now. But her nose and hands still feel coooold so very cold. They won't get warm until summer.

However, it was getting so very boring walking alone without talking. Cassia couldn't stand being quite for so long. And it had been long. Like half an hour. As if on cue, the Slytherin spotted a familiar face near the fountain. She picked up her pace and once she neared it she flashed Alexa a grin,"Hi.Aleexxa.." She trailed of noticing that the lioness had her shoes and socks of. AND was she splashing her feet. Cassia shuddered feeling a cold breeze wavering across her body. "For god's sake it's not summer yet!" She said shaking her head and sitting down on the edge next to Alexa. "Oh and how're you?" Because you know people ask that when they meet.

Splash. Splash. Splash.

How did people sit around and do nothing all day? Didn't their brains like start hurting afterwards or something? She wouldn't wish boredom on her worst enemy because it was so terribly...boring.

She continued looking around until she caught sight of a familiar snake. Lex felt even better when Cassia made her way over without even being asked to. By the look on the girl's face she was clearly taken aback by the whole feet in the fountain thing. Well; there was no rule saying one couldn't have their feet in here and even if there was she probably wouldn't listen to it while she was bored now would she? Nope. Boredom and rule following were always at opposite ends of the spectrum, having nothing to do with each other.

Lex shrugged. "I know...but it's not that cold anymore and 'sides, I'm bored--hey you should try it too! Just pop out of your shoes then give it a go." Because two pairs of wet feet were better than one. Yup.

"And I'm okay I supposed. Just had to get out for a bit but I can't find anything that I can burn energy with!"There was nothing to do--and NO doing homework was NOT an option. "How's about you?" Since they were being so polite about it.

Ronnie grinned. "That's goooooood, very good." she said with a slow nod, grinning wider. HEHEHEHEHE.

She suddenly jumped up from where she was sitting. "HARVEY AND ELLA, SITTIN' IN A TREE," she began to sing in a teasing voice, "K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

Cassia did like winter and though she was always frozen during this season she still enjoyed it. But that didn't mean that she'd intentionally cause her body to lose important temperature. So no, no splashing for her. "Thanks," Very polite today. "But I happen to have a skin that gets cold very very easily." She told her thoughtfully. "Spring or not It's still freezing and you ,by the way, might get sick." Because you know Cassia knew everything about getting sick. "And you definitely don't fancy a trip to the healer do you?" Cassia said cocking an eyebrow. The second-year still believed that the healer was an evil person. And she even told Alexa that when they first met.

The twelve-years old crossed her legs and angled her body towards Alexa so she faced her. Burn energy.... "Yeah I'm starting to get the idea that energy isn't appreciated at Hogwarts." She told the lioness. " I mean Did you see the older students? Most of them are so boring and mean. But I bit when they first got into Hogwarts they were energetic like us but the castle drained the energy or because it had gone unnoticed." So much wisdom today meaning that she wasn't going to think until the next day.

"I'm good but boooored." She huffed air out of her cheeks."At first I thought that sleeping in great hall would be fun but it didn't turn out to be the way I imagined it to be." She kinda had the picture on her mind that they'd keep talking and playing and stuff. Of course that never happened.

Lex frowned a bit when Cassia declined a good foot soaking but the frown disappeared and her eyes widened when a reason was given. Slowly she raised her feet from the fountain. Now that they weren't submerged anymore she could feel what the girl was talking about..it was kinda cold. "You really think I'd get sick...?" She asked, sounding a little less confident this time. The Healer was...well the Healer...she didn't know what to make of her but she didn't want to end up going to her for something as simply as a muggle illness; she had a feeling the woman wouldn't appreciate that very much. Especially when getting sick was her own fault.

"Is that what happened?!" Jeez, she'd been wondering why the older students at this school were so....bleh. The school was sucking their energy away..."How long do we have before we lose our energy too???" Because she still had a few things she was dying to do. No. She would not fall victim. "I say we make sure that never happens to us! We'll keep all our energy and make up for what the others lost." Nod. Such a pity they didn't have their energy anymore; it really was.

While she listened to Cassia speak, she hopped onto the ledge of the fountain and stood looking out at the rest of the courtyard. She turned sharply when she heard the girl say sleeping might have been fun. "Sleeping's never a good idea. You end up missing a lot--or you could get eaten." Whichever happened first.

Okay she was not expecting this reaction. You know when Cassia speaks she doesn’t really think of what she say a lot but seeing that Alexa seemed to believ what Cassia said, made the Slytherin carry on. "I really think so. Because when you get sick all your energy would be drained." The second-year said a bit dramatically. And she had no idea how this came across her mind. It seemed that her mind is actually full of ideas and only with Alexa's presence did they make an appearance. Cassia needed to hang out around the girl more often.

She might have had a little doubt about her theory but that evaporated once Cassia saw that even Alexa sensed it. Because the girl seemed to believe it and Cassia knew that Alexa had her own mind and she if she hadn't been convinced she'd have said so. "I am not sure. But I think it differs from person to another." Cassia paused. "Maybe forth year or so." That meant she only had two years left! The second-year swallowed because she really believed her own theory. Suddenly the world made sense and it wasn't a pleasant one!

Cassia angled her body towards Alexa when she stood up and nodded in agreement. They shouldn't fall in the same trap which all the others fell into. NO They were not going to lose their energy. "I wish there was a way to give the other students their energy. Imagine Hogwarts full of energetic and active students." She said musing at an imaginary picture to her right. And the picture which she was able to see on her mind contained hyper kids jumping and goofing around laughing. It felt like Heaven.

"Well, sleeping is….something we should do." She replied. "But what I meant that considering there are no common rooms available perhaps it would be good to have all houses share the same sleeping areas." She was trying to forget the uncomfortable sleeping bag looking at the matter from this angle. "Anyway, turned out I was wrong. Because bringing the students together only made them more boring….the older ones I mean." She said hunching her shoulders.

"Hmmmmm..." Lex thought about this for a minute. She guessed it made sense..."You know, you're right! The last time I was sick I could hardly move!" When that happened she felt absolutely miserable. Her father had to wait on her hand and foot, Amanda had to disappear--which she really appreciated--and she got all the ice-cream she wanted...but no candy...her father had said it would only make it worse.

Whoa whoa whoa; fourth year?!?! "But that's so soon! I don't think I'll be able to accomplish enough by the time I hit my fourth year and what about you? You only have another two years or something like that, right?!" She was officially freaking out. "We can't let this happen; we have to find out what makes them lose their energy so we can fix it." Yeah, like before their turn came around would be nice.

She paused for a moment to consider Cassia's suggestion. Hogwarts...filled with energetic students. Slowly a grin formed on her face. "It. Would. Be. Epic!" Yup, totally. "We'd have people going around casting spells, swinging on the decor in the Great Hall, running around like headless chickens--the works!!" Wait....question. "Do you think there's a potion that can make people hyper??" If not then they'd have to make one. The future of Hogwarts depended on it.

Ooooohhh, so that's what she meant...well then...that was okay. "I know what you mean. None of them are really willing to do anything but they won't let me run around." Pout. It just didn't seem fair. At least one of them should have been allowed to have fun.
