"That sounds awful!" Lex nearly gasped at the terrible luck of her friend. "I made sure to stock up on a lot during our last trip to Hogsmeade--can't have too much candy you know." And with that she patted the blue bag that was slung over her shoulder. After the whole locking out incident she'd gotten into the habit of carrying her candy everywhere she went. Let's see the thing try to take it now! "And all my stuff's in there too but I don't really mind 'cept the candy. I don't know why we got locked out though. I think someone just wanted all the candy for themselves. Really, all they had to do was ask." Granted she would've said no but asking was still the polite way to go about things!

Lex shrugged at the next thing he said. "I've been told I have a place reserved at the loony bin; I don't think it's such a bad place so there's nothing wrong with people thinking we belong there." Nod. "And I know the feeling, but it hasn't been that bad 'cause I like Vivi's company."

His idea had her bouncing in seconds! "That's pure genius! I love it!" Yup. It would teach them a lesson for trying to infect the rest of the school with their lovey dovey rubbish. "Where should we go first??" Finally. Something fun to do. Mischief.

Once the ink had been siphoned off, Ethan handed the girl her papers to put away, then stood up. She really had a lot of study materials, which made him chuckle a bit. The girl looked about his age and he figured she was studying for OWLs too. Studying was consuming all of his free time and he was quite tired of it.

"No problem," he shrugged offering a smile. Not even a minor inconvenience, it was what.. a few seconds to help out a fellow student? Not even worth mentioning. Shaking her offered hand, he said, "Pleasure to meet you Ronnie.. I'm Ethan." He glanced at her bag before looking back at her. "On your way to class.. or the library? I take it you're studying for OWLs too?" At least going by how much she was carrying.. in addition to her appearing age. "I can't wait for those things to be over.."

"He'll write back, Taryn." At least Milton hoped so. Especially now that he seemed to be so certain that he would. Milton didn't even know August, but from what he heard about him through Taryn, he didn't seem like the kind of guy to NOT talk to Taryn anymore.

Milton chuckled a little bit. Funny, because just a year before he and Taryn dated, Milton WAS "the worse" that she could've done. His relationship before theirs had proved that. Meh. "I suppose I'll take that as a compliment," he said with a small grin.

When Taryn hopped off his back, Milton turned around and rolled his eyes a little. "You wish." Just because he was strong didn't mean he wanted to carry girls around the castle. Although it WAS easier over his shoulder. Shrug. Milton smiled a little when she kissed his cheek. He was SWEET? Meh. "That's all your fault, you know."

Taryn smiled as she leaned against the wall. Milton seemed to KNOW that things were going to be okay and maybe he was right. It wasn't like he had ever lied to her before, and he certainly had no reason to start now, right? She supposed now she would just wait and not talk his ear off about August. Milton had been helpful and Taryn didn't want to become annoying.

Her smile turned to a delighted grin when he told her how it was HER fault that he was sweet. "I'll gladly take the blame for that, but I hardly think it's a fault." Quite contrary, she thought it was GOOD. Very good. Taryn made an X over her heart, "I promise I won't tell anyone though, if you don't want me to mess up your reputation." Heh. Heh. "I'll keep it to myself, but, personally, I like you like that." Not that she knew first hand how he could have been, he'd always been nothing but sweet to her.

Milton crossed his arms and leaned against the wall next to Taryn, looking out of the corridor and across the courtyard. Was being sweet a fault? Milton shrugged. "I guess it's not bad. Not around you, anyway." Taryn already knew Milton could be a nice guy, so there wasn't really anything to hide. "But you should still keep it a secret." He looked over and winked. He couldn't let everyone else know that he was actually a softy on the inside. That would totally ruin his Quidditch reputation.

Taryn just grinned again. Heh. "Like you could ever be mean to me anyway. You've adored me since day one." She GIGGLED. Partly, she was teasing, but she was also serious too and Milton knew it was truuuuueeee. Funny though, how the first time she met Milton, she was sad about August leaving. That seemed like such a long time ago. She crossed her heart again. "Promise."

"Now." She nudged him, "Quidditch soon. Please tell me that I'm actually going to be able to cheer for you this time." It was sort of lame that she hadn't gotten to cheer for Milton as her BOYFRIEND, but she still wanted to cheer for him anyway. "Should I dye my hair blue?" HEHE.

Milton rolled his eyes again, teasingly. But it was true, wasn't it? "Yeah, yeah, I know." Milton just grinned and nudged her side with his elbow. It was the blonde hair. It had to be. And maybe the fact that she let him be himself around her. He liked that, too. "Good. I'll hold you to that."

"Yes!" Milton said, immediately after Taryn spoke. "I actually get to play. Unless someone knocks me out again before the weekend, but I don't think we have to worry about that anymore." Because Blue wasn't playing and Anya hated him for some reason, and he didn't know of anyone else who wanted to knock him out and actually had the guts to. So, that was that. Milton chuckled a little. "Yes, bright blue. And dye your skin bronze." There was probably a charm for that, right?

"I'm good at keeping secrets." Yep. Taryn nodded. A promise was a promise regardless of how silly it was. She grinned brightly when Milton confirmed that she would FINALLY get to cheer for him. "Good. I know you're hard headed but seriously I was starting to worry about your poor head." How many times could someone be knocked unconscious before it got to be something really bad?

Taryn twirled her hair, "Do you think I'd look good with blue hair?" She'd never changed the color of her hair before, she'd never even thought about it. Hmmm. And skin dying? Maybe she needed to look this stuff up. Or ask the Charms professor. "I think you should dye your SKIN blue."

Cause like... he didn't have hair on his head.

Heh, it was true that Milton was hard headed. Taryn wasn't the only one worried about his head, though. After getting knocked out too many times and having a spotty memory, there was something to worry about. But Milton wasn't really one to worry TOO much, so it was just... fine. "I'm a tough cookie, you know." Either that or a dumb one. Which was entirely possible.

Milton looked over at Taryn and tried to imagine her with blue hair. "Well..." He didn't really think anyone looked good with blue hair, but Taryn was always pretty. "As long as it's not permanent." But she wanted HIM to dye his skin blue? Milton laughed. "Not happening. I'll just stick to my blue robes."

He nodded as she said that it sounded awful "It is awful!" he then looked at her as she said that she had stocked up on her last visit to Hogsmeade as she patted her bag, his mouth just started watering right there but he didnt show it "I did too.. but.. I kinda ate it all" he said trying not to grin to proudly cause afterall he had no candy now to eat cause of the fact that he was so worried that the common room was closed that he kept eating the candy. He nodded "Yeah there is nothing more important than the candy" he frowned as she said that she didnt know why they got locked out "But thats just no fair.. keeping all the candy for itself.. you know.. my mom always used to tell me that sharing was a sign of caring.. so whoever or whatever that thing is it should share that candy with us" granted he would try to grab his stash and run for it cause there was no way he was sharing his candy.

He raised his eyebrows "You have? It isnt? what kinda place is it? Dad always told me it was a place for people who had lost their minds... I dont get how people can lose them in the first place. But I guess it cant all be that bad if you have a place there" he said smiling at her "Cause you is cool.. so it must be a place for the cool kids dad calls loony" yeah that had to be it. He watched as she nodded in agreement "Vivi...?" he said trying to rack his brain for that name sounded familiar "Isnt she like... Kurumi's age or something? how does it feel hanging out with someone who is so old! Doesnt she have a boyfriend or something by now?" cause usually people at that age had a yucky boyfriend or girlfriend.

He could see that she loved his idea "Well you know we are geniuses to avoid all that yucky lovey stuff" yup they were so it was nothing new that she thought he was a genius. He then thought about the place that they should go first "I dont know.. maybe Hot Spring ...oorrr... the Lake!! thats where they all hang out normally" he said as he tried to remember where he had seen all lovey people in the first place.

"Pity." She said simply when she heard he'd eaten all his. It really was too bad for the poor kid and if she was a different person she might've offered to share but as things were, candy was scarce and the thing going around locking people out only made it scarcer. Sorry Dylan. Times were tough. She made a face after hearing what his mother said. "Who in merlin's beard told her that??? When you have a cold and you share it with your friend that doesn't seem like caring--it's rather selfish if you ask me." She remembered the time Will made her sick...he had to sleep with his eyes open every night until she got better. "And it can't possibly share with us because it doesn't belong to it in the firs place." You couldn't share what didn't belong to you. Nope.

Ahhh, it seemed Dylan still had a lot to learn. "O'course the loony bin's for cool kids. It's like the coolest place on earth--super exclusive too so you gotta be invited in. I got a special invite." Because you know...she was special. "You have to come too!" Misery loved company afterall--

"Ummmmmmmmm NO! Just no. No way. Not at all." Was he even listening to himself??? She nearly had a heart attack when he said those blasphemous words; choking on the inside too. "Merlin! Do you kiss your mother with those lips?! There's NO WAY my Mama Vivi has a boyfriend. She's too smart and coooool for that." It wasn't possible. It just wasn't and since it wasn't she happily changed the subject when he suggested the lake.

Her bounce was gone at having Dylan say such a mean thing but she was still willing to go along with the plan. "Okay, sounds good." He'd put her in a bad mood. Thanks dude, thanks a lot.

He nodded as she said pity, it was really a pity. He remembered how she had told him before that she didnt share her candy, so he knew that she wouldnt be sharing with him.. but he understood why she wouldnt. He then saw the face that she made as he revealed what his mom had told him.. he shrugged "I dunno... whenever I wouldnt share something she would tell me that" he said as he shook his head "No thats not.. I dunno she just used to tell me that all the time" he said shrugging his shoulders some more. He smiled as he nodded "Thats all true.. but it doesnt know that.. we gotta make it think that it owns our candy and then grab and run when we got the candy we need" he said as he tried to think of a way of getting his candy back

He grinned as she said that it was for cool kids, he raised his eyebrows "Yeah? that exclusive huh? Where did you get an invite for the bin from?" he asked as he now started getting excited about this loony bin "Yeah.. I gotta.. know of anyone that can get me a hold of that special invite?" he asked wondering how soon he could get into it and be with the cool kids like himself.

He almost jumped as she seemed very upset with him now, he frowned.. what had gotten into her now? "No! I dont kiss my mom.. thats just.. yucky!! Bleugh!!" he said as he listened to her calling that Vivi girl her Mama Vivi.. *brow* "Your.. Mama Vivi??" he questioned.. as he looked at her "Well at least she is cool then" even if she wasnt anything else.. the cool kids were coolest.. like Ethan and Minnie. He wondered if Vivi was as cool or not as much.

He could see that she was still in a bad mood when she didnt seem to say much except that it sounded good when a moment ago she was almost literally bouncing at the idea. "Ok... so.. er.. shall we go then?" he asked wondering whether this was going to be as fun now.

That had to be the dumbest thing she'd heard in a long time. Her father had never told her that she had to share anything at all. Everything belonged to her and she wasn't obligated to let anyone else get any. If she felt generous then she would share off her own accord but when it came to sharing for the fact that it was right, well she wasn't buying that rubbish. She shook her head slowly at his next statement. "Nuh-uh, if it's smart enough to lock us all out it's smart enough to know the candy it has is stolen property." If you asked her they should have gone looking for the thing and taught it a lesson but apparently most people didn't think that was smart; go figure.

"Yuuup, that exclusive and apparently the spot's been reserved for me since the day I was born." She said with a shrug. That's what the kids at her old school use to say and well...she rather liked the idea so she didn't go against it. "But I bet that since I'm so special in that place I can give you the invite so you're officially invited to the loony bin too." Nod. Nod. Nod.

She saw him raise his eyebrow and she raised her own in response. "Yes, that's what I just said 'cause she is and she's the most awesome person ever so don't go around saying stupid stuff like that again, okay?" Dylan was cool, she liked him; he had potential when it came to mischief but not even he would be exempt from her anger if he spoke ill of Genevieve Branxton. Boyfriend? Vivi? Seriously? Psssh.

She took a moment to give him a good and long stare before responding with a shrug. "Yeah I guess. Staying here means we're burning daylight." Hopefully the 'fun' would bring her mood back up because if not then she'd need to stuff herself with chocolate frogs until she felt better.

Taryn poked the side of Milton's head. "So there's no lingering problems, right? You're not going to spontaneously go mad or something?" Just checking, cause she'd like to be prepared if that was going to happen. A little advanced notice would be nice. Milton WAS tough, though. Really the toughest boy she knew. August was pretty tough too. Hehe. Her mind started to wander and she thought back on that time when August had gotten knocked off of his broomstick by a rogue bludger. THAT had been a really bad bruise.

With a blink, Taryn came back to earth again and gave Milton a o_O look. "Why would I dye my hair blue permanently? That's just bonkers." TOTES BONKERS. "But, I'll do it. For you, I will." HEHE. It could be fun. "But you have to promise that if I ever play quidditch and you cheer for ME - which you'd BETTER - you have to dye your skin GREEN."

HEHE.

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Ehtan." she said with a smile. She then nodded, "Yeah, to the library to study." she said with a deep sigh, shaking her head. All this studying she was doing was stressing her out and not fun at all. It was pretty much keeping her away from all her free time she normally had...

She chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, same here." she said, shaking her head again.

He looked at his shoes after he had said that cause honestly, he never did listen to what his mom or dad said but for some reason that .. one thing was stuck in his head, maybe cause she had said it to him so many times. He then watched her shake her head and he listened to what she said, he then nodded "You have a good point there" cause really she did, that was a good point that he was not arguing against that was for sure!

He smiled as she said that she had a place there since she was a baby "Wow! so they must have known you were cool since then! " wow to be known as the cool kid for the loony bin since you were a baby was pretty cool indeed. His eyes then went wide "Yeah? ahh cool! awesome! Thanks Lex!! see that is why you had a place there since you were a baby!" he grinned cause she was the cool person too! no wonder she was going there.

He watched her raise her eyebrows too.. he nodded slowly "Umm okay" but he was saying what he saw.. usually all the old people had boyfriends or girlfriends. Like Kurumi.. she had one.. and she was Vivi's age..right? she seemed it though. So he was not allowed to say that about Vivi.. but he could say that about others right.. cause they would be targetting them soon.

He watched her stare at him for a moment before shrugging.. shrugging??? what had gotten into this girl! one comment and she acted like the whole world came crashing down on her, geez!! girls!! see this is why he was never having girlfriends!! "Well I guess we go get our baskets then" so one final look at her and he went off to get his baskets and go to the orchard

Ethan chuckled at the girl's words. "Yeah.. it seems like I live at the library any more.. I'm sure all the fifth years feel the same way. Surprised that I haven't bumped into you up there already with as much time as I spend there.." The boy shifted his bag's strap on his shoulder, then added, "I hope you're still leaving some time for fun though.. wouldn't want to get too burnt out." He gave her a little wink, then smiled to himself, thinking about his own free time.. though there was very little of it.

"Exactly!" Ronnie said, shaking her head. She was actually starting to really hate the library nowadays...which was really weird since she used to love going there. But not anymore. Nooo way.

She shrugged. "I try and keep myself away from people when I go to the library to study so I don't get distracted. I mean, I just am always talking to people and I know I wouldn't get anything done in the library if I didn't keep myself away from people, y'know?" she explained, chuckling a little. But it was pretty hard to do that since she just loved being around friends and talking to others. *sigh* This stupid studying was just taking all her fun away...

Eh. "I kinda have some time for fun...but rarely." she sighed. "I just want this over as soon as possible." she said, frowning again.

Walk. Walk. Walk. BROWS. Look at those two over there all holding hands and everything. They're total canoodlers! Hehehehe Canoodle! Sounds like doodle. Heh. Doodle canoodlers! Grin.

Ella had somehow wandered from the Care of Magical Creatures lesson to the corridor to the courtyard with no recollection of how she'd gotten there. In truth she'd been giggling like mad since the lesson ended, finding even the smallest things hysterical. It was that fwooper's song! Merlin. It had done a number on the poor girl and her sides were aching!

Sliding down against the wall, the third year sat doing that quiet laughing where you don't make a sound but your shoulders move up and down and tears stream down your face...she was totally going mad.

Sophie just left Care of Magical Creatures! She was SO HAPPY because that nice professor had totally gotten the idea of the Fwooper from her essay!

Yeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuup, totally HEER idea. BEAM!

So there she was, smiling and walking. Walking and smiling! Smile smile walk! BEAM!

The young badger made sure everyone could see how happy she was! Because yeah, she was VERY happy. Very! Fwooper was such a BEAUTIFUL biirdie! "BEAUTIFUL!" She BEAMED! again.

That was a very informatatative lesson that was lessoned to them today in COMC Class.

Especially that Woop...Wooper...Fwoop...Fwooper? FWOOPER SONG AT THE END that was very informaltitatative very indeed.

As the end of class Oakey could not even stand any more he continued to fall and trip and stumble. So he first thought to be rid of his pesky shoes and threw them off somewhere on the Grounds. That did no good because he then continued to trip from the back of his pant legs.

Half way, most of the way, all of the way, some of the way, none of the way up to the Courtyard Oakey finally decided and out loud! "I GIVE UP ON WALKING!" He shouted aloud for all to hear. "WALKING IS FOR SQUARES, AND I AM A...Eight, Nine, Ten. TEN SHAPED POINTED THINGY!" He flopped onto the ground and rolled, crawled, and inch wormed all the way to the corridor where he bumped into Ella and Sophie.

"Allo Ella, Allo Sophie" He said to the two of them grinning stupidly."SOPHIE! You're looking rather pretty up there on your feet." He wiggled his toes in his now bare feet.

Ella wiped the tears from her eyes and took a deep breath, clutching her sides. OUCH. Giggling hurt. But really...it hurt SO good. Mwahehehe

Beam. Beam. Giggggggggle. And then there was Sophie all bouncy and bright like a...bright bouncy ball. Mhm! Ella GRINNED at her best friend, waving both hands above her head like some ship wrecked person who'd just spotted a rescue plane. HERE I AMMMMMMMM "SOPH!" Giggle!Squeak

Oakey was a gummy worm! Like O___________O he was crawling on the ground like a worm...a human gummy worm. GRIN!Giggleeeeee

"Oakey worm!" BEAM. Giggle. "You lost your shoes!" Giggle.

Know what was funny? Sophie wanted Ella to speak to Oakey and miraculously they were all there in one place. Normal minded Ella would have understood this wasn't the time or place for such things but Fwooper song enthusiast Ella was ALL for asking questions right now.

"So...are you two a thing now or what?" GIGGLEEEEEEEEEEE "Cause you would make the prettiest couple since Prince Eric and Ariel!" And the fourteen year old bounced a bit, green eyes wide and hands clapping with excitement.

Sophie waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavvvvvvvvvvvedddddd at Ella with all her might. Did her friend see her wave? She had to make sure she had seen it. What was the point to wave to someone if they couldn't see it?? NO POINT.

Oakey worm? The thirteen year-old turned around dramatically and WIDENED her eyes when Oakey came crawling. "LOOK! HE'S GOT NO-" Oh, Ella had already said he had lost his shoes. The brunette still felt the need to point it out as well. "YOUR SHOES ARE MISSING, OAKEY!" Was that the reason why he was crawling?

Oakey said she was looking pretteeehh! "THANKS! BEING A WORM DOES FIT YOU, YOU KNOW!?" Maybe that was a new THING! And now Ella was asking if they were a THING. "WAIT, NOT YET!" Sophie exclaimed, quickly taking off her own shoes, tossing them to the side and flopping on the floor next to Oakey. WOOORMMMM!!

"OKAY, NOW WE ARE, LOOK!!!" She BEEEAMEED at her blonde friend as she started to crawl around as well.

Woooooooooooorm!!!

Oakey finally stopped doing the worm to them and leaned against the wall beside Ella 'cept he was backwards with his bare feet in the air. "What thing?" Ella wasn't making any sense now. "There are lot's of things...like...Bicycles, or tricycles, or Quadcycles that move without peddling your feet, those are really cool and muggles really like them. Some of them even have retractable tops. They go really fast, do you know who else is really fast. The Flash, it's because he was struck by lightning! That's what makes peeeoooooople fast apparently. I tried it once but Grannny G yelled at me for holding metal poles out in a rain storm."

He didn't really catch what else Ella had said to him. "Who's Prince Eric, is he someone I should meet. He seems nice if that's who pretty Sophie want's to marry him."

He took a deep breath and looked at Sophie upside down

"YEAH! We're a thing now!" Oakey slide down from the wall and started rolling on the floor again before stopping. "What thing are we?" He wiggled his toes

Hehehehe Oakey Worm and Squirmy Sophie were SO in love. Fwooper!Ella could see that quite cleary! Squirmy was even doing some kind of wormy love squirm to show her love for her Oakey Worm. D'awww! It was like watching a fairy tale but only in real life. BEAM. This was the best day ever!


The third year didn't even know WHAT Oakey Worm was rambling on about but she BEAMED at the boy, blaming his speech on his nerves because the love of his life was squirming around only feet from him and he simply couldn't handle it. Poor Wormy.

"You ARE a thing?" BEAM! "Well then you must make it official!" THINK ELLA, THINK. How could you make this official? "A WEDDING!" The fourteen year old shouted, jumping up and thrusting her first in the air. "A wedding fit for a worm!" The wormiest wedding ever! BEAM. BEAM. BEAM.
