This corridor is a simple, airy hallway with openings to allow in as much sunshine as possible and fresh air. It is an excellent transition from the school to the grounds as it exits out into the courtyard.

With every passing day summer continued to fade away and Taryn didn't like it. She didn't like it one little bit. Fall was a pretty season and all, but nothing quite compared to summer time. Therefore, she'd been spending every single free second she had outdoors. Currently, she was supposed to be doing her school work, but... heh... it wasn't working out that way.
Taryn leaned against the wall and glanced through the opening at nothing in particular but also everything.

Alyssa's only yelling/screaming was when she called out Oakey and Laura's names and that happened 400 yards away at the time she saw Oakey and Laura draw wands

He seemed to be running off way to much lately, and it was really freaking her out. She hated not knowing where he was. He was her baby, he had to basically always be in her sight!

Laura looked at Gideon. "Can't you mend it?" Laura was sure a Prefect would know how to mend a broken bone, it wasn't like it was something hard. "I don't want to waste the Healers time, she is an important person and I'm sure that it would annoy her if she has to see too my bones." Okay so Laura wasn't going to tell Gideon that she was scared of the women and that she was sure that the Healer was out to get her, there was no need for that right.

After a pretty good quidditch tryout session, Milton took the long way back to the castle. Tryouts were going much better than he had thought they were. He was worried he wouldn't find a seeker as good as Ellie Stone, but there were some good possible replacements.
Milton began approaching the castle and spotted a familiar figure inside the corridor. His lips curled into a smile and he stepped inside. "You're not stalking me, are you?" But before she could answer, he stepped closer to her snuck in a kiss. "Not that I really mind." Just saying.

That cup, huh? Taryn rolled her eyes again. "Oh yes, what a shock." Though she was suddenly curious by how many houses had actually won more than one year in a row. Surely there had to be a few instances, right? Perhaps she'd get Aspen to research it for her! Ravenclaws like to research things, right? She was also sure that Milton REALLY wanted to win his first term as being the captain, so there was definitely a little extra want in there.

After the quite rude way she had told the younger student to move, Gwen just expected him to go away, or simply take a few steps to the right. But no. He was apologizing for blocking her view. And then started talking to her. Gwendolyn had no idea what his name was, but she could guess the house. That behaviour-
It just screamed Hufflepuff.
‘It’s fine’, she said, once again kind of curtly. The Ravenclaw was planning on returning to her sketch, when she heard him say something else. Artist? That made her want to laugh. ‘I wouldn’t say that’, the fifteen-year-old replied. Although the people who usually saw her drawing immediately assumed that she was so talented, Gwen didn’t really take it seriously. She looked back at her sketch, which wasn’t looking like anything much yet. Just a few random lines. She’d have to work on the proportions first. Taking the quill back in her hand, the girl started working on her drawing.
Scribble. Scribble. Scribble.
As the younger student introduced himself, the Ravenclaw raised her yes from the sketchbook and looked back at him. ‘I’m Gwen’, she said with a small smirk on her face.
Eerr. Maybe he should just go when the girl asked him to move aside but then if he did go away he wouldn't get a chance to meet an artist here in Hogwarts.
"Why not? You have a sketch book and you're drawing right now." That's an artist's equipment, right? His eyes went from the girl to where he was standing earlier and back to the girl. She was back scribbling something on her sketch book. "Are you drawing the courtyard?" Or maybe she was drawing the corridor?
Gwen?"Nice to meet you, Gwen." The small smirk on her face confused him. Why she's smirking? "Are you a Slytherin?" Smirking was one of the Slytherin trendmark and she just did that out of the blue.

"Nah. I'll just let him do whatever he's doing...maybe he enjoys running off and doing whatever. I shouldn't worry to much, I mean, he always comes back." she said with a shrug. She seriously worried to much about him. Maybe he was enjoying being on his own once in a while...

Minerva shrugged, "It was okay. My cousin and I didn't see eye to eye so now my muggle grandparents have custody over me. So having no magic the entire summer was a bit of a pain, but I got use to it." she smiled, it really wasn't that horrible and her parents always did the muggle thing since her dad was a muggle so it wasn't like she wasn't sure to it growing up.
"Well if you need help finding him ever just let me know. I would love to help you out." she smiled at Ronnie, she would always help her friend when they needed her. "So how is everything going other then that cat? Do you like your classes so far?" she hadn't spoken to Ronnie much last term and wasn't sure what was going on with her old friend.

Milton smirked slyly. "Maybe that's the Slytherin in me." Among other things. Like his secret desire to be a beater just so he had an excuse to smash peoples' limbs in quidditch games. But that wasn't really a secret.
He didn't? She would have thought it would be a pretty obvious concept. "I was teasing." Sigh. Boys. Sometimes they were all the same, no matter who they were.
Taryn smirked back, they certainly did look like a couple of Slytherins with their smirking. "I like the Slytherin in you." FYI. She (finally, bwahaa) gave him the kiss he'd been seeking and laughed, "Maybe you should be the Slytherin and I should be the Ravenclaw." Though, she wasn't quite... Ravenclawish.
Milton should just be a Slytherin.
"So." She tucked a bit of hair behind her ear and continued walking, "Have you heard from your father recently?" After what had happened over the summer, she was really hoping that he had.
Eerr. Maybe he should just go when the girl asked him to move aside but then if he did go away he wouldn't get a chance to meet an artist here in Hogwarts.
"Why not? You have a sketch book and you're drawing right now." That's an artist's equipment, right? His eyes went from the girl to where he was standing earlier and back to the girl. She was back scribbling something on her sketch book. "Are you drawing the courtyard?" Or maybe she was drawing the corridor?
Gwen?"Nice to meet you, Gwen." The small smirk on her face confused him. Why she's smirking? "Are you a Slytherin?" Smirking was one of the Slytherin trendmark and she just did that out of the blue.
Gwen just shook her head a little as she heard him say something. Owning a sketchbook and drawing wasn’t exactly the description of an artist. Hmph. Without replying anything, the fifth year drew her attention back to her sketch, which was still only made out of a few lines. The measurements seem alright…, the Ravenclaw thought, eyeing the part of the courtyard she had been planning on drawing.
She just raised her eyes from her sketchbook as she heard the other student ask her a question. ‘A part of it, yes’, she started saying. ‘These two columns…’, she said, pointing to the columns of the corridor which led outside. ‘…and the part of the courtyard you can see from here’, she finished talking. Well, at least he wouldn’t be commenting on choosing the wrong angle, just like a certain Slytherin did. Psh.
‘Nice to meet you too’, she offered a small smirk. ‘Ravenclaw’, she corrected him, though not using the same cold tone. People had told her a few times that she seemed to belong to the Slytherin house, and, truth be told, that was the house she thought she would end up in her first year. ‘And you?’, she asked, though it was rather obvious that Messer was a Hufflepuff.

Milton smirked even more and kissed her back (finally) for a moment before pulling away with a content smile. The thought of him being a Slytherin appealed to him, but the thought of Taryn being a Ravenclaw was... odd. "I don't think you have it in you." Wink. Seeee? TWO could play that teasing game, Hayden.
Well, that was... slightly random? Milton raised an eyebrow. "Yes... I have." He had already sent an owl, but Milton had yet to reply to it. He wasn't always good with words, especially with his dad and his recent... behaviors. "Why?"

He seems can't take his eyes from Gwen's sketch book. Maybe its because she's pretty good drawer artist or maybe because he never saw someone drawing something in front of his eyes or it could be both?
Messer listened carefully while the older explained her drawing to him. "When did you start drawing?" She probably start to do it when she was a little kid because she's pretty good.
And there's another smirk.
Ravenclaw? That's surprise him because her smirk and cold tone speak other things. "I'm a Hufflepuff." And proud of it. "What year are you in?" She definitely doesn't look like a third year like him. Maybe a forth or fifth year?
