Front of the train getting full? No worries, there's plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.
Nathan wouldn't keep her waiting. That was just not his style. He had told her he would meet her soon at the platform - and so keeping his promise, he'd left his dad's sooner than he was suppose to. He really just simply wanted to get to the platform before Delphi. So she wouldn't have to look around for him .. she would just see him, waiting for her instead.
Besides they just had so much more talk about - he couldn't wait another few hours before seeing her.
But alas - it seemed his plans for futile. As soon as he pushed through the the barrier, his eyes spotted her. Standing there alone. He grinned, ruffling his hair and walking up to her.
"I am buying you as many Pumpkin Pasties as you like since I made you wait," he said - while a small smile pulled at his lips.
Footsteps weren't enough to raise Delphinia's head, since there were so many different foot-fall sounds around her. His voice, on the other hand.. That did get a reaction from her. A smile turned the corners of her lips up slowly, green eyes lifting from her shoes.
"Why Pumpkin Pasties?" She was merely curious of his choice. Rather, the reason of his choice. "You weren't very late. I haven't been here long," There was a pause. And a mischievous sparkle in her eyes, "but since you offered so kindly.. I'll acccept. We have a Honeydukes date on the first Hogsmeade weekend of the year." Delphi grinned at him playfully, uncrossing her arms.
Yes, she claimed him for that weekend. They would have to go and do something fun.

Well, summer was officially gone. It had been a pretty good summer with all of his friends, but oddly enough, the new Ravenclaw quidditch captain was ready to get back to Hogwarts. He liked the solid routine of things that Hogwarts had.
Milton was almost late to the train station, but he was pleased to see that the train hadn't arrived yet. Thank goodness. The north end of the platform was crowded like a can of sardines, so Milton pushed his way towards the south end where there was a little more air to breathe. He patted the metal captain badge on his chest for the thousandth time, just to make sure it was still there. He didn't pay attention to who was around him, either. He was just ready to get on the train. And probably take a nap.

If they couldn't find some other way of getting him off the platform then they would have a serious problem.
Grinning she pushed her way through the crowd. Nell decided to let his impending conversation with Issac go since that was between the two of them. She was pretty sure they would come out of it with there friendship intact. It took a few minutes to heave her things onto the train. Her trunk was packed to bursting and balancing Soren was a challenge but she managed it. Finally they found an empty compartment and stowed there things.
Nell stepped back off the train heaving a sigh of relief. Getting her things on the train was always the worst part. "So, know where Issac went?"
"I hope so! But... just which one do I ask?" Surely they didn't have an assigned professor for this kind of thing. How did he even go about it? 'Oh, I'm a transfer student who knows how to apparate, but I just need to take the test'? They'd think he was crazy!
He followed her, pondering over what he was going to say to Isaac. Thanks for pushing me through the barrier, sorry for the mean looks I gave you and please know that I was being nice when I just threw those looks. Any other person would have got ten times worse? Isaac wouldn't appreciate that!
He attempted to help Nell in any way he could to get their stuff onto the train. Once all their luggage was stowed, he nodded happily and followed her off the train while searching for Isaac. "Absolutely no idea. He's probably searching for...err...Amelia? I think her name was..."

Elliot chuckled at the way he put it..."Sure, I guess. But it's not bad, I promise." She said with a shrug. She tucked her blonde hair behind her ears as the wind picked up a bit...she should have tied it back. Elliot hated it when it was all messy and gross..
Elliot listened to his little...rant. She raised an eyebrow at him..."I don't hate the world, trust me. But if you were raised how i was..." with a crazy pureblood father, who neglected Elliot as much as possible..."You wouldnt be too friendly either. But for you..." she sighed, rolling her eyes. "I will try." Yes. Because right now...Ezra was really cool. And Elliot wanted him to stay that way. "You may even be able to help my horrible temper." She chuckled. She may look at nice now...but she really could blow up at any moment. ANY MOMENT. But right now...she was very content.
Much to pretty...this made the fourteen year old blush immensely. It's not that Elliot didn't think she was pretty. She knew. She was WELL AWARE. But not many people actually told her so...probably because she was already so confident with her looks...and hearing it from Ezra...
Elliot laughed...."Build me a pyramid, then, Ezzi! and then you'll HAVE to listen to me and do whatever I say!" she had an evil glint in her eye...but it only made her appear more eager and brightened her already icy blue eyes.
She wiped her wet finger on her dress, to dry it, as she backed away from them for a second. She turned her head to look behind his shoulder, pfffting. "Oh...I just...giggling is really very silly...I don't like do that...I'm not babbling little damsel..." she said, a bit distracted...
Just then, a brunette, older, woman was headed her way...Elliot shrieked and grabbed Ezra's shoulders, spun him around, and crouched a little behind him....he was taller than she was, so it wasn't much work...but Elliot was hiding behind him! "Don't let my aunt see me, Ezzi!" she whispered, very close to his ear..."She's driving me nuts!"
Phfewww.
Ezra smiled at Elliot. How sweet, she was being reassuring. "Let's hope so, I like my brain how it is."
She had a point. Ezra seemed to have jumped the bullet on that one. He bit his lower lip a little to hard thinking about what he said to her, and he could taste some blood. "Well, all mighty.." He trailed off under his breath, wiping away the blood with his tongue. Hopefully Elliot didn't see that.
But after all, she was right. He wasn't in her shoes, but he definitely knew the part. The only difference between them both was that Elliot kept it inside of her while Ezzi was just happy to still be alive, considering his out house exploded in front of his eyes. Along with his parents. But that was a story for later. Ezra only nodded with a feeble smile. "You're completely right," And even on that note, she offered to try in the least. Now, that brought a smile.
"Aha! Who are you fooling? I'm already keen to you." Ezzi spoke, and out came another snort at her comment. If she asked him to put a tutu on and prance around, he would. He'd prance his pretty little pink skirt around the biggest butthead in school, just to show her that he didn't have a care in the world.
Did Elliot just cock her head with embarrassment? Oh! How funny. "But you're my babbling damsel. Now, you can't complain with that?" Gosh, Ezzi was having on of those moods.
She quickly grabbed Ezzi by the shoulders and spun him around. He felt like one of those cool S.W.A.T Shields that you see in the movies. She whispered in his ear about her aunt coming this way, and Ezzi smirked. Winking at the older brunette lady as she walked by. "You're in the clear," Ezra teased. Right then, someone brushed by him, swiftly bumping Ezzi in the shoulder and knocking Bugaboo off, and landed on the luggage the boy was trailing with.
SPOILER!!: Milton

No, no, no, no. This was no good! Ezzi was having a mini panic attack. "Hey! Duuuude!" Turning to Elliot for a split second, eyes widened in horror, and turned back towards the boy and started after him. "Mate! You're walking off with my bat!" Bugaboo blended in quite well with the luggage, even with all the fluff the fruit bat had on him. He squeaked, clinging to the handle of the bag. "Mate!"

Trunk in tow, Coulson threw a small wave to his mother who had already turned to head out of the station. She never really hung around much, though he couldn't say he minded. Afterall, it left him an awful lot more time to find some people to hang around that weren't nineteen years older than he was and of course.. someone who actually liked talking. That was always nice.
A slight frown appeared on his face wishing the summer had been longer. He hadn't quite gotten to do everything he'd wanted to, but he'd done a good amount on his list. Which he supposed was alright. And he'd done some things that weren't, like taking Penelope to the beach. Nevertheless, it had been fun. He wandered a bit farther down the platform, stopping momentarily to make sure nothing had fallen off of his cart.

Taryn's father had just taken his leave as well. David Hayden had a very important meeting to get to, but he was going to stay with her anyway. She managed to talk him into going and not sticking around to wait for the train's departure. She'd told him she was meeting Aspen and Aspen's father would be around so he didn't have to worry. That, however, was mostly untrue. Taryn wasn't 100% sure that Mr. Odessa was anywhere around, or when/where her best friend was, but she did at least plan on looking for her.
She scooted out of the way, drawing back into a more deserted part of the platform and stood on her toes, glancing around to see if she could spot Aspen Odessa. Or her brother. Or their father...
Ezra smiled at Elliot. How sweet, she was being reassuring. "Let's hope so, I like my brain how it is."

WHAAA-?
Elliot must have heard him wrong. Keen? On HER?! She was astounded, really. but...she WAS a pretty awesome person...so this shouldn't surprise her. But it did.
She suddenly wished the train was there, and they could get a compartment...together. Maybe a few others. But she imagined herself laughing all the way to Hogwarts with Ezzi...it brought a small smile to herself. Luckily, Ezzi couldn't see how please he was making her, for she was still behind him. And she was HIS damsel..pahah! "I'd rather be your something else, to be quite honest," but she was laughing.
Then she realized...OH MY MERLIN. it sounded like she was hinting at SOMETHING ELSE! Ah! She slapped her forehead. "I only meant-" she stuttered, "I only m-meant that I didn't want to be a damsel! Because I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, thanks!" she tried to regain her composure...GAH.
WHY WAS SHE SUCH A BABBLING FOOL RIGHT?!
PHEWWW! She stepped out from behind her and smirked up at him. "Thanks, Ezzi. You're my hero," she said, sarcastically, and rolling her eyes.
And now...Some BOY was taking Ezzi's bat! Elliot furrowed her eyebrows, her mouth forming a VERY thin line. "OY! Stop it, you thief!" she yelled, and she almost ran after the kid! NO ONE STOLE SOMETHING FROM EZRA IN FRONT OF HER! Gah!
Her face flushed in anger...she felt it bubbling...beneath the surface there...but she refused to blow up in front of Ezra. She would NOT EVER let him see that side of her...if she could help it.

Milton was obviously in his own little world, thinking about Quidditch probably and how amazing he was going to be as captain. Heh. So lost in his thoughts that he didn't even notice some guy's bat falling onto his luggage as he walked away. It took him several seconds to realize some guy was chasing him. He DID notice him grab onto his bag and he was ABOUT to deck the guy in the face for touching his STUFF.
Coming to a halt, Milton turned and saw the bat on his back and calmed down. "Oh," he said, rather perplexed as to how that got there. "Sorry mate, I didn't know..."
And then some girl was calling him a thief? Milton glared at her. "I'm not a bloody thief, calm down. It's a crowded platform; lots can happen." SHEESH. Jumping to conclusions, are we?
Footsteps weren't enough to raise Delphinia's head, since there were so many different foot-fall sounds around her. His voice, on the other hand.. That did get a reaction from her. A smile turned the corners of her lips up slowly, green eyes lifting from her shoes.

Okay so there was some giggling. Should he have expected that? Maybe, but it wasn’t in a way that it was mocking, at least not to his half-deaf ears.
Now that got the smile to return “I hope so, being my final year and all it would be awesome if it was memorable” not that at any point in his time at Hogwarts was boring or anything. Hardly. But he couldn’t shake the feeling that this was his last hurrah, like the last bid farewell to childhood before the inevitable transition to adulthood. “Well….there will be some changes this term though--” recalling Tate’s closing speech and the news he’s read on the Daily Prophet comes to mind “--We’re having a new Headmistress at Hogwarts--she used to teach there before, so its not like she’s completely unaccustomed to how we do things… but yeah, I’m already thinking things will be a little different, some changes here and there. You may not notice it much, since you’re new and all but…. yeah….” There was a small corner of his brain that was antsy when it came to changes, possibly rooted to his OCD-ish nature, or some other childhood memory. Shrugging off the thought he gave a brave smile at the new girl “…Change is a wonderful thing right?”
Wait what? She knows about the Giant Squid? Brave smile still plastered on his face, Vickers shifted his eyes away for a split second. In all his stay at Hogwarts, he’s only met the Giant Squid ONCE, and it was when it started whacking a few students as it interrupted a joint COMC-HOM class. So suffice it to say Vickers’ opinion of the Giant Squid wasn’t as favorable as some Hogwartians, despite having a soft spot for creatures. Eyes now back to Lottie “Do you want it to?” he replied then added “You can wave at him through the water, and maybe he would wave back. But if he doesn’t-- don’t feel bad, He only comes out occassionally.” Sounded encouraging enough innit?
It was already his final year, what more 'memorable' did he want? But Lottie understood, kind of.
HEY! DID ANYONE NOTICE?! Lottie was still paying attention to Vickers! No distractions, no 'oh-thats-not-interesting' comments, no boring moments. And she even got an almost-kiss on the hand. This was...weird. And she still hadn't noticed. Her blue eyes kept scanning his eyes as he talked. THIS is as much attention as you can get from her. Also, she took notice in the odd accent. He wasn't from England, was he?
Then Lottie nodded, "So I've heard," she said, with a smile. She wasn't the one who read the papers, but words tended to get to her ears, you know? Especially since most of the family worked in the Ministry. News were around 24/7. Annoying, but surely helpful in the future. Oh. Changes. "Some changes are wonderful," like this one. This was a very welcoming change, her going to Hogwarts. "Maybe I agree." She beamed next.
ARR YOU SERIOUS? "Of course!" the excitement was back, she didn't bother suppressing it at all this time, "I'll try to wave...," the poor Squid probably got too lonely down there. "...your accent's different." She randomly pointed out. Did you think she was going to keep on talking about the Giant Squid?
Taryn's father had just taken his leave as well. David Hayden had a very important meeting to get to, but he was going to stay with her anyway. She managed to talk him into going and not sticking around to wait for the train's departure. She'd told him she was meeting Aspen and Aspen's father would be around so he didn't have to worry. He was almost positive that he had everything. Besides, all of his things were rather large and probably wouldn't or.. couldn't fall off the cart. As he turned round to continue down the platform and get closer to the train, the boy paused. He spotted- just a little ways away, all by her lonesome, a girl. A VERY pretty one. Though, he'd expected nothing less. All of the girls he'd met so far that attended this school were painfully pretty. Being that she was alone, he figured he ought to go have a chat with her. Couldn't hurt, could it?
With a grin, the boy pushed his cart toward her. "Lose something?" he asked since she was looking around and on her tip-toes. Rather than bluntly tell her how pretty she was, he decided this was a better approach. Especially since he didn't know what she was looking for.

So far she had not spotted her friend or any member of the girl's family. Though she had spotted Milton walking about and... in some sort of conversation. She quickly glanced away and looked to the other side of the platform. Hopefully her father had no way of finding out whether or not Taryn really had seen Mr. Odessa (or if he was even there or not) She'd almost decided to give up on the search, because, well.. they could be ANYWHERE and there were SO many people around, when she heard someone speak and assumed they were speaking to her.
Turning her head, she glanced at the boy. Nope, she had no idea who he was, but he was quite polite and friendly, so she smiled at him, "Not really. Just trying to spot my friend, it's almost impossible with so many people about." Briefly, she wondered if he was a Slytherin, sure that she would have at least seen him at one point or another. "What is your name?" She inquired curiously.
Elliot eyed him...but she was satisfied that he admitted she was right. Yep. As always. Elliot WAS a Ravenclaw, after all...she was very wise. yeah right.

What just.. happened? Ezzi was running after the guy for Bugaboo, and as he got closer to the fruit bat, the boy came to a full halt, obviously noticing something was wrong. But the boy clenched a fist, and Ezzi caught it at first glimpse, grasping his hand around the boy's fist. "Don't get your panties in a knot, mate. Wasn't tying to harass you, no need for a temper." Brows furrowed deeply. Was this guy really gonna try something on him?
But the boy calmed a little, and Ezzi took that time to breathe out the friction he was holding in only for that moment. "It's chill, mate. Everyone has their own dose of obliviousness."
But Elliot took it all a little off, calling him a thief, puting the guy back in his temper. "Whoa!" Ezzi felt like a tug-a-war by this point. He flailed his arms around a little, jumping between the two. Ezzi came prepared for times like these. Well, for himself anyway. Whenever he felt like a bad day was kicking in, or someone had enough umph to tick him off, he'd make a homemade mellow potion. A recipe his father had passed down. And it always came into good use.
Ezra rummaged through his bag as the two butted heads, pulling out two viles with corks closing the top. He had one in each hand, and handed them to the boy and Elliot. "You both need to sip this Mellow Juice an chill. Ain't worth yellin' out loud." Plus he felt a headache forming. "Just Chiiiiiiill.." Australian accent rolling off his tongue.

Oh. He meant the food trolley. This should have dawned on Delphinia long before he uttered the obvious words, but it hadn't. The realisation of what he meant shown on her face for a second, but was quickly replaced by another smile. Food trolley or not, they had plans for the first hogsmeade weekend. "Clever," Delphi murmured, following closely behind Nathan as he took her bag and headed toward the train. "You don't have to do that."
"Good to know," Maybe she'd claim more days with him at some point. Not that she really needed to, it was just that he wouldn't refuse her company and planning ahead could be fun. How was she? Delphinia took to leaning lightly, awkwardly against the smooth surface of the train while Nathan loaded their bags, which was probably not the best idea, but she wasn't concerned. She'd move if she had to. "You know how I am." He did, really. Delphi shrugged, "I guess I might be looking forward to this year more than I was last year." Oh.
Delphi shrugged, "I guess I might be looking forward to this year more than I was last year." For obvious reasons, between the two of them. Green eyes watched the young man carefully, "How about you?"
He simply smiled when she told him he didn't have to pick her bags up. As if.
Carefully loading the bags in, the sixteen year old entered the train and waited for Delphie to follow - smiling again when she said he already knew how she was. That he did. "I just thought .. maybe you could have eaten something new or .. you know," he shrugged.
"I am good .. I am the same," he mused, his eyes shifting the other way. "Actually .. there was something I wanted to tell you,"

Coulson grinned up at the girl. She was older. He was pretty sure at least. Though, it wasn't like age really mattered, he flirted with any age. At her response, he nodded. "Understandable." Another girl, maybe? He hoped. He definitely wanted to walk into Hogwarts with a girl on each arm. That'd make the people talk. And he liked hearing his name. "What does your friend look like? Maybe i could help?" Please say she. PLEASE.
He glanced about a little bit, wondering himself what she looked like if it was indeed another girl this blonde one was looking for. His name? "Coulson, Coulson Bradshaw." He nodded. "I'd bet all my sickles that you've got a pretty name to match that pretty face." he grinned. And there went the charm.

Hmm. Taryn had glanced about again when the boy asked what her friend looked like. He wanted to help? Well wasn't that sweet! "Well... she's about my height I'd say, and she's got brown hair." Yep, that... sort of described lots of Hogwarts girls. "And she probably looks like she's studying something." She added, "She's a Ravenclaw." So that pretty much summed it up, right?
Taryn smiled, "That's a good name, I like it." But then he added that smoooooooth line and she was quite impressed. He was definitely younger than her, but he didn't quite seem like it. The sixteen year old giggled and held out her hand to him, "My name is Taryn Hayden." Hehehehe. "It is lovely to meet you, Coulson."
She glanced at the train that was getting very full and would be leaving soon. "I suppose you should get your things onto the train, wouldn't want to miss it, right?" She needed to get on there too before SHE got left behind. Her father would LOVE that.
Beezus rubbed her nape, "Yeah, I'm an incoming Ravenclaw fourth year." Wow. Three years had come by so fast! It seemed like it was just yesterday that the Sorting Hat was on her head, whispering and asking things, then screaming all suddenly that she was to be placed on that house with blue tidings. "There are tons of books, yes. There's actually a mini-library..but we're not that boring. There's a whole lot more and Ravenclaws love hanging out together." Especially when their Quidditch team wins a game.
"Wait until you're sorted." Beatrice chided. This girl was too enthusiastic about getting into Ravenclaw she might get her hopes down if she wasn't sorted under that House. She herself knew the feeling, and that disappointment was something she didn't want that girl to feel even if she was such a talker. "Surprises are always better than letdowns." The woman added with nod. "Let's go Beatrice," yes, she was calling her granddaughter. "I want to talk with Vindictus."
"Grandma's right." Beezus agreed to that surprises talk. She didn't really expected to be sorted under Ravenclaw because she wasn't that smart. Turns out, wits isn't the only thing one would need to be classified as a Ravenclaw, there was so much more.
When Grandma Beatrice said that they should go, she nodded at the woman. But when the woman told her she was gonna talk to Vindictus, she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Vindictus? THE Professor Vindictus? She didn't know the two knew each other. "Oh, okaaaaay Grandma." Then she turned to the little eaglette-wanna-be, "It was nice talking to you Ariella. But I gotta go find my friends first.. I'll see you around the Feast, okay?" The brunette started pushing her trolley cart to follow her Grandmother.
Beezus and her grandmother were right, Ari shouldn't get to caught up in the moment. Ariella could be sorted into any of the four houses and she didn't want to get her hopes over just one, only to be let down in the end, best to let it be a surprise...
"It was nice talking to the both of you too!" Ari said befor gathering up her stuff... she needed to go find Alexa and Dylan before the train opened, "Hopefully I'll se you around!"
Elliot felt FIERCE when she saw the guy want to PUNCH Ezra...but then he backed down. Good. A fierce Elliot was not...very good...for anyone. '
She glared at him suspiciously..."Sorry," she grumbled...she shot a glance at Ezra, and she decided to hold her tongue..she even bit it inside her mouth to keep her from being all snappy with this guy. "IT could have happened to anyone..." she was gritting her teeth...ugh.
Being nice was so hard...

Elliot glared at Ezzi...yes, she did. Because he was soooo not appreciating her sticking up for him. Hmph. Whatever. She could forgive him easily...his eyes were too hard resist.
Elliot eyed this...mellow juice. ELLIOT SO WASN'T IN THE MOOD TO FEEL MELLOW. She grabbed the vile and shot one last glare at the rather large unnamed boy and took a HUGE SIP of the ...mellow stuff.
Hmph...
It felt like something warm and calming stretching to every end of her body. Her mind seemed to relax. She looked at Ezra, and her features relaxed..."Thanks." She said softly...she no longer felt the need to glare at the large boy...hmmph.
Weird.

The badger simply crossed her arms and watched Oakey storm off with a frown on her face. Honestly. "Boys..." She muttered under her breath as she turned around to get Brady back from her father's hand and placed her bag on top of her trunk.
Pffft. Oh Merlin, a silly muggle magic trick right now. John tried his best not to roll his eyes at the character in front of him. After Oakey and Jarvis' little discussion, John handed Brady back to Sophie and did as he was told, grabbing the crazy man's wrist.
"Right. Now what?" He felt really silly holding the man's wrist like that in the middle of the station, but well, all for the sake of... wait, why did he agree to do that again??
Sophie stood there holding Brady and frowning at Oakey as the boy came back to get his stuff. She didn't say anything else and just watched as he mumbled and loaded his things onto the train. She should do the same, actually, since it shouldn't be long until the train left now.
She'd wait for her dad to be done with... whatever he was doing first, though. So she got busy petting Brady. He was a cute and adorable little bunny and never made Sophie mad. Mhm.
Hey, alright this guy was going along with it. He didn't seem to appealed by it. Maybe he'd treat him to a little something after his lame muggle trick. "Alright so to really make this sickle teleport I need you to hold perfectly still while it moves." Jarvis grasped onto John's shoulder with his left hand and carefully placed the sickle onto his shoulder. Once he was done with this he released his own wrist from John's grasp. "Lookie here," Jarvis started by opening his now empty right hand."The sickle moved!" Jarvis gave John a cheerful smile, "but where to?"
Oakey was getting really sick of Jarvis' tricks. There was no magic involved, but he could understand why Jarvis would be hesitant in performing actual magic tricks in a crowd, even of Witches and Wizards. The poor guy must of been really desperate if he needed to make muggle money by going against the Ministry. "It's on your shoulder...Sir" Oakey said fully annoyed that he had to move all of his luggage up on his own. with no help from Harvey's appointed chaperone at all while he was here. Oakey even decided to hop up onto the train as he was sure it would begin to move.

Panties? Milton Shacklebolt did not wear panties, thank you VERY much. He tried to subdue his temper, but it was bubbling back up again. Milton just eyed the guy. And THEN he called him 'oblivious'. "Excuse me? I'm not oblivious. Maybe you should keep better track of your beater's bat before it ends up smacking the side of your head." So much for his moment of calming down. Milton just didn't appreciate this guys' tone of voice and the way he talked to him. That must have been a record for Milton, too; a threat out before school even started. Heh.
And then there was the crazy girl, but the insulting guy jumped in between the two of them. "Apology not accepted," he said to the girl. And... Mellow juice? Milton looked back and forth between the vials and the weird guy that was telling them to drink it. He gave him a look that said 'you are absolutely insane'. "I'm not drinking that." Like Milton really believed that was some "mellow juice". He'd never even heard of it before.
Although, the girl seemed a little bit calmer... But he still wasn't drinking it.

Oakey even decided to hop up onto the train as he was sure it would begin to move.
Yep, John was sure this man came out of a book now. The former Ravenclaw studied that Jarvis person as he performed his little muggle trick and would have been rather amused - by the performance, not by the trick itself - if it all had taken place at some other time.
He was too busy paying attention to his surroundings - who knew what that Oakey kid could do this time? - to notice Jarvis placing the coin on his shoulder, but before he could answer, the same kid he had been observing from his peripheral vision told him where the sickle was. "Well..." John said as he reached to get the sickle from his shoulder. "That was interesting." He said nodding his head and actually giving the man a polite smile.
Jarvis Toombs would really make a very interesting character...
Sophie noticed how most of the kids were already getting in the train and decided to finally load her things onto it as well. She was not impressed with the trick, but wasn't that annoyed anymore. That guy was somewhat funny.
While her dad was being entertained by the Jarvis person, the Hufflepuff put Brady in his cage, her bag on her shoulder and dragged her trunk to the train, walking past Oakey again but not looking at him. Stubborn like that.
Before he was done with the trick, Sophie had her things on the train, but went back down to the platform to say goodbye to her dad properly.
"Um... thanks for the... trick!" John tried his best to sound nice. Jarvis had showed he was at least trying to educate Oakey and he appreciated that. "It was nice meeting you." And he really meant that. He couldn't say the same about the brat young boy.
He gave the man another quick hand shake, handing him his sickle back and turning around to say goodbye to Sophie and watch the train leave.

She liked Nerida. The fellow 'claw had been very nice and respectful to Elliot back in book club. Therefore, Elliot would be nice and respectful back...to an extent.
At her question, the blonde shrugged. "All right...." she didn't Nerida well enough to divulge anything too personal, but she did add, "Family problems. You know how that is..." she gave the girl a dramatic look. She had barely any time with her father before he left...her mother had been neglecting her a LOT lately due to the baby...and her sister ws going off to Beauxbatons. It was making Elliot a very loose cannon...like she might explode at any time. But she was cool enough for now.
The next minute, SOMETHING was attacking her leg! She pulled out her wand on instinct, but the next second the little demon was gone. Oh..just a cat. HEr pointed wand was put away quickly, and she raised an eyebrow at Nerida. "You're lucky...I almost cursed your kitty..." she sounded a bit annoyed, but she didn't take it out on Nerida. Meh.
And it looked like her fellow housemate was here...quite alone. "No one came with you, either?" she asked. For she didn't see her aunt anymore. Hopefully that annoying woman had left...and Elliot would be free to do as she pleased...not that her aunt was very strict..
Nerida couldn't help but smile at her fellow Ravenclaw. Her hands also itched for a book to be placed in them. For one thing she liked was that Elliot always spoke what was on her mind and was nice when need be.
"Oh, that sucks." She nodded as Elliot talked about family problems, Nerida knew all about those. "Yeah, family problems. I have way to many." She returned Elliot's dramatic look with a dramatic sad face. Her problems were probably very different than the other blonde's. Her mum was in the hospital, her dad barley leaving her side. She had been frozen and her dad didn't even know until the school year ended, even though Sarassi and the rest of her siblings sent him millions of letters!
Nerida's eyes followed her kitty as it ran away. "I don't think I would have mind, would have taught her a lesson not to jump on people. As long as she wasn't severely hurt. After finishing the joke Nerida gave Elliot an evil grin. Again her cat appeard but this time instead of jumping onto Elliot in curled up into the cage, which was a rare thing...So she must have done something bad! She quickly locked the thing, just in case someone came running yelling a blue cat bit her.
"My brother's took me if that even counts. They ditched right as soon as we got here. And they didn't have a choice its not like they could not go to Hogwarts." Noting that Elliot also didnt have anybody she asked "Did your parents just drop you off?"

Might as well act like like older kids and start to ask about last names in the future. "Erm...I actually don't know her last name," Cassia admitted.
At the mention of a very familiar name, Cassia grinned at Ari, "I surely know Gwen," Cassia answered cheerfully. Only a couple days ago she had met the Ravvie at the candy shop and they agreed to meet on the train. "Gwen is one of my very good friends," She told Ari. And indeed Cassia always felt comfortable speaking with Gwen and spending time with her.And Gwen had been nice to Cassia since they first met. "You are her best friend whose birthday's date is near?" Cassia asked remembering that Gwen was thinking of a gift to give to her best friend on her birthday. And Cassia needs to make sure not to say this in case Gwen was intending it to be a surprise.Though it was so hard for the talkative girl not to TALK. But she must get a grip on herself! You can do it Cassia, a voice in her head encouraged her.
Urgh..it hurt...
"Mmm... OWLs year," Cassia said when Ari mentioned she was in her fifth year. Though the girl seemed to hesitate before saying it?! Nah...Cassia just imagined that. "Pretty important year fir you," The twelve year said. See she isn't always clueless ,she knows a couple of things. Like OWLs are in the fifth year and they are important. :3
Cassia beamed when Ari said that it's ok for her to play with Pluto, "THANK YOU!" The second year just had an extra reason for herself to be excited about. Not that she was lacking any reasons to be excited actually she could get excited anyway with reasons or not!
Considering Ari's question. Normal? What did she mean by normal. There must be a rating for normal and un-normal people that only older students about. Cassia needed to catch up with those kinda things that only older students knew about. However, she should not look clueless now ,"I think they were normal enough," Cassia answered thoughtfully as if she knew all about what Ari was talking about.
No last names then. And Ari's memory was not what it used to be. 'Nevermind, I'll know her if I see her.' Possibly. But she did know Gwen! Who was like an acquired taste: you needed to get to know her pretty well, but in the end she proved to be the best friend Ari could've asked for.
'August fifteenth.' Ari nodded at the birthday question. 'Why?' As in, why did someone she hadn't met before today know that her birthday had been recently? Sneaky Slytherins.
'It is an important year, yeah. But I'm trying not to worry yet. There's always time to panic next spring.' Especially right before exams. 'But it's an important year for you too. To demonstrate that you're not a firstie anymore.' Ari winked.
Wow! What a reaction. 'You don't have to thank me. He'll love it. I'm only afraid that he'll become a spoilt cat.' If he wasn't one already. Normal enough, hmmm? She'll have to see that for herself.
The train was about to leave. Time had passed by really quickly with Cassia around. 'Thanks for keeping me company. I would've gotten bored otherwise.' she smiled at the younger girl. 'Ready to go aboard?'And face the crowds?

Logan nodded now. Things were getting better and better for him because he was starting to make friends now even before he had gone off to Hogwarts. Not really a shy guy by any means, he still felt that it was a comfort knowing that he had people he could go to and have fun with. "Yep, but I will be seeing you anyway!" Not even a question because it was happening.
"Very squeaky. If only we could fix it with magic." But it was okay anyway since they were pushing it along as a team. Still would be nice to be of age though.
