Front of the train getting full? No worries, there's plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.

Keeping that train of thought, the fifth year wondered out loud: 'You don't happen to be a Gryffindor?' The girl didn't seem a day over twelve and since Ari had been at Beauxbatons the year before, she wouldn't have known if they were housemates.
'Ah, yes, this. It's just a letter. But I'd like to keep it safe, nevertheless.' Well, that wasn't a lie, but the envelope contained something more than an ordinary letter. She needed to show that picture to her Head of House to find out what she thought of it. 'Good idea.' the older girl nodded when her new friend suggested getting a trolley. She had to suppress a smirk when the girl stood taller. It reminded Ariadne of herself in her first years. She had always thought she was too short for her age, but not anymore.
Pluto loved being pampered and continued to purr louder. 'Hey, I can't even hear our friend here!' Ari admonished him, laughing. 'Lovely to meet you, Cassia. I hope I heard your name correctly.' Ariadne chuckled. 'You can call me Ari if you want, most people do.' The girl observed how fond of Pluto Cassia was, and had to ask: 'Are you not bringing a familiar to Hogwarts?' Not everyone had a pet in the castle, but it was still quite uncommon not to.
Cassia giggled at that,"Yeah I've seen some examples of madness last year," She had seen examples enough for a couple of years. Though the madness will probably spread instead of decrease. But that was just fine because when there are madness excitement came along and the twelve year old craved excitement. "But don't worry you didn't actually reach the madness level," She grinned at Ariadne. Especially that the girl explained the reason she was speaking to herself her cat about.
Nodding at Ariadne, "You got it right," Not that Cassia was a hard name to be pronounced but still some people got it wrong. Anyway, Cassia appreciated that Ari made sure that she got right. Some people would invent new names for you just because they couldn't remember yours......wait that was Cassia sometimes. "Yeah Ari is shorter," She told the older girl. And easily to be remembered too she was wanted to add but didn't. She had to improve her memory because now that she's a second year she must not forget names. Yup part of growing up.
Still hunched over the cute cat, Cassia's head turned to Ari automatically when the girl asked her if she was a Gryffindor," Nope I'm not," She shook her head. "I'm a Snake," she said suppressing a big proud grin. It always made her smile when she said she is a Slytherin Cassia guessed it was house proud of something like that. "I assume you are a Gryffindor?" Cassia wondered.
Cassia had never been mistaken for a Gryffindor before. However, that didn't bother her. Maybe if she had been guessed as a Ravenclaw it would have bothered her because she wasn't a bookworm like most Eagles. And to be thought as a Huffie too because.....Well, she just wasn't Hufflepuff material. However, Cassia's parents were both lions and she herself thought that she would be one.
Rising to her feet and holding the cat up with her, "I have an owl," Cassia said. "Though I love cats but I wanted to have an owl for school for a change. Considering we have two cats at home," She told Ari. And mentioning the two cats Cassia already felt herself longing for them though she had just this morning played with them.

Her dad was here with her, but OF COURSE, he was now talking to another grow up he hadn't seen in Merlin knows how long and she was all alone pulling the cart that held her luggage. Which wasn't much, really, just the trunk and a small backpack. At the top of said backpack was Mags, the bright pink Pygmy Puff, looking mighty uncomfortable as she grabbed onto the backpack somehow. Well, you know what? She said she didn't need him for this, so she could TOTALLY get the trunk in place without any help. WITHOUT ANY HELP. She could do it. She was super strong. No help needed or wanted. Thank you.
Except, as her hands tried to take hold on the thing...it didn't move at all.
She...kept on trying, of course. Failing, over and over again.

Good Merlins she was like half his size... and her trunk nearly as big as her...

Ariadne guessed that Cassia was probably talking about the freezings last term, and the orb thing. Gwen had been nice enough to inform her about what she'd missed while away at Beauxbatons. 'Were you involved in any of that madness last term?' she wondered. She had known Cassia for-what?-a few minutes, but already wouldn't put it past her to be in the middle of all that drama. 'That's good to know. Do inform me when you think I've reached the level though.' Ari joked.
So Pluto hadn't been noisy enough to prevent her from hearing properly. Cassia was a pretty name-but more importantly-no one at Hogwarts shared it, as far as Ariadne knew, so it would be easy for her to remember the little one. 'Not to mention easier to pronounce.' Ari winked, when Cassia stated that her nickname was shorter. There were surprisingly many people who had trouble pronouncing Ariadne.
'Not my lucky day then.' the fifth year was dejected for not having guessed Cassia's House. 'But you're right. I am a Gryffindor.' She missed saying that. At Beauxbatons, no one had cared. They didn't even have Houses. 'Happy to meet a Slytherin, nevertheless. Most of my friends in your House had already graduated.' It was high time to make new ones.
'Ah, I see. It can come in handy to have your own owl at Hogwarts. I always have to use one of the school owls when sending a letter, and they can be quite temperamental.' A few bites on Ari's hand served proof to that.
'Why is the train not coming?' the Gryffindor started to get impatient. She was usually on the platform at the last moment, so presently the wait seemed too long. She hated trains, too, but she could overlook her feelings this time, because at the end of the journey she'll be at Hogwarts again, after more than a year.

Cassia shook her head, "No luckily I didn't get frozen neither did I encounter crazy shopkeepers at Hogsmade," Cassia said. Though she had thought that it could have been fun to meet the mad shopkeeper who was responsible for lat year's madness. But it wouldn't have done Cassia any good ,meeting psychos. Grinning at Ari, "I'll make sure to inform you when necessary," Not that Cassia was sane all the time but Ari didn't seem to know that and Cassia was leaving it like that.
It was nice to meet a Lion or a Lioness! Cassia searched her poor memory for any Gryffindor students and she barely remembered one whom she passed by. She wondered why she hadn't befriended much Gryffindor students and made a mental note to crash the gryffindor table at the feast and meet some lions. Perfect way! "Glad to meet a Gryffindor too," Cassia told Ari.
"It is handy," Cassia agreed with Ari on the owl thing. "Owls are also nice to play with just like cats," She said stroking Pluto's back .She then bent down and placed the cat back on the floor. She didn't like to hold the animal from moving around and playing on its own. "Though it was hard at first taking care of it but then i got the hang of it," She told Ari. She remembers how when she first brought her owl home she didn't know what to do with it but then she figured out how to communicate with it.
"I think it will take like half an hour or so," Cassia commented. "Though I can't wait till it does," She said rubbing her hands together. "I have missed the castle so much. And I can't wait for getting back there, and there's also a new headmistress, did you know that?" Cassia asked Ari shifting her weight from foot to foot. The twelve year old was so excited about starting her second year.

The upcoming Ravenclaw fourth year sluggishly pushed her trolley along the Platform, trailing behind her was her Grandma Beatrice, looking much like the disciplinarian she is with her chin up high, stoic facial expression, and poised walk. The woman was sending off her granddaughter to the Hogwarts Express.
"Hurry Beatrice." she said in her usual leveled voice. Her granddaughter moved like a snail. They needed to speed things up if they don't want the train to leave without her. She eyed her granddaughter cautiously, the girl was dragging her bags and luggage all by herself while she was only holding one shoulder bag. Perhaps, she could help her? Hmm. Better not to. That way, Beatrice will become more responsible of her actions.
"Yes...Grandma," Beezus replied, putting much effort into hustling her stuff. Why won't her Grandmother lend a hand? It was obvious she was having difficulty given the weight of her luggage and all. SIGH.
She advanced on and walked beside Beatrice. She found it amusing, really. Her granddaughter's name was Beatrice, and she herself was Beatrice. Oh, she loved this girl so much. Now, she was already on her fourth year at Hogwarts. Merlin, she was growing up so fast. And growing up beautiful and smart for that matter. The 52-year old cleared her throat. "Are you certain you have all the things you need for the term? Books? Potion ingredients? Your uniforms? How about your wand?"
Beezus nodded politely, "I've got it all Grandma. The books are in my trunk, I've checked the Potion ingredients, my uniforms are all there, skirts and shirts, and my wand's at my holster." With her Grandma, everything just had to be organized and every question must receive a response that is clear and distinct. It was suffocating at certain times, but she'll still miss the old woman. After all, she was her Grandmother, her name was derived from hers, and she grows the prettiest flowers.
Ariella couldn't stop staring. This place looked liked it had jumped right out of a book! With train shined as the sun beamed down on it, empty at the moment but soon it would be full of students, excited for another year at Hogwarts. This time though, Ari would be inside the train when it left the station...
She whipped some sweat from her forehead as she heaved her trunk along the platform with one hand, and had her owl's cage tucked under the other. Ari was regreting the fact that she had sent her father away earlier because she could use his help right now...plus she had know idea what she was doing.
As Ari was lost in her thoughts, she failed to see and older girl who also seemed to be struggling with her stuff and bumped right into her, knocking Ari to the ground
"Ugh.." She moaned as she got ahold of her surrounding, "That's the second time today...Sorry 'bout that!"

"Ugh.." She moaned as she got ahold of her surrounding, "That's the second time today...Sorry 'bout that!"
"I'd let you in by yourself," the old woman started. "..but the place is still too crowded." She couldn't just leave her granddaughter on that busy Platform eh? She wanted to see to it that Beatrice had settled down comfortably in the train.
ARGH. Would somebody please help her and get her Grandmother out of there? She wanted to find her friends so she can sit with them on the train, but since her Grandma was still around, she couldn't just scuttle off. Manners reigning over complaints, she replied, "Well..it's alright Grandma. I mean, I think I can manage." Of course, she was fourteeeeeeeeen! "I don't mind if you go ---" THUG! Beezus felt someone collide with her. Good thing she was leaning on her bags or else she could've slumped down. But her assailant didn't have much luck for when the Ravenclaw whirled around, she saw the girl on the Platform floor. "Oh, that's alright.." Beezus told her reassuringly.
"Grandma..I'm not hurt." the brunette further reasoned out. Her Grandmother huffed off and she pulled the young girl's hand to help her stand up. "Are you okay? Does anything hurt?"
"But I don't have a license." Ed's voice was quiet as he told her about this obvious hindrance. "I can apparate, but I need to be able to do it legally." His face made it clear that he wasn't happy about this. At all. "Of course I'd ride back with you, even if I could apparate." Like it was even a question.
Mentally deciding what to say to his father, Edmund glanced down at his owl. His beautiful owl. He knew she'd be happy to go out and fly for the first time in a couple of days. The thought had him itching to write the letter now, for her sake.
His eyes focused on her once more as she blushed and tossed her hair over her shoulder. "Modesty suits you." he joked. The steam that the train was emitting had him sighing softly. "I suppose we should get our stuff on the train, then find Isaac? I need to talk to him."
"You haven't gotten it yet? I thought you could get your license when you turn 17?" At least that was how she had assumed it would work. This was her year for learning how to apparate so she wasn't completely sure. He was already 17 so shouldn't he have his license? Hmm...she didn't know so she went with a different tack. "Well, lets get through the year and then we will figure out how to get you off the platform."
Nell missed Edmund studying his owl. At that point she had turned to look at the train to see which end was the less crowded. Usually the back was completely full, why people tended to flock there she would never know. It looked like the middle was fairly empty still.
Laughing out loud she winked at him. "I know right!" Chuckling Nell nodded her head. "I think the middle section looks the less crowded." Making sure her things were still firmly in place on the trolley and that Soren was still okay Nell started to push her way through the crowd. "Try not to be too hard on him. He is your friend after all and he was only trying to help." Though she rubbed her sore hip and fervently wished it hadn't involved bull rushing Ed.

Micha lugged her trunk onto the platform, careful not to disturb Norman, who was sleeping in his cage on top of her trunk. She'd said the last goodbyes to Dan and Nathaniel on the other side, promising to write and send back pictures of anything she found at school.
Adjusting her sweater, the exchange student made her way to the back of the platform to wait for the train. Surely it would be here soon? And hopefully she could make some company whilst she waited, for it was going to be a lonely year if she didn't make some friends. Even still, she was upset about leaving Alexander, to whom she would also be writing frequently.

"I can, I just need to take the test. We had to learn it for a whole year and take the test in seventh, but obviously..." he gestured at himself, knowing she'd understand. "I'm not quite sure how to go about getting it." he shrugged, knowing he'd find out one way or another. "Sounds like a good idea. Hopefully I won't get tackled through next time." He threw the wall a dark look and shook his head.
His eyes then moved to the direction she was looking in and hovered over the middle of the train before going straight back to Nell's face at the sound of her laugh. That sound brought the grin back to his face easily. "Okay then, lets go to the middle of the train!" He checked his luggage was all there and then followed her closely. "Trust me, I've already given him a lot more than anyone else would get if they did that." he answered, trying to keep calm as his thoughts went back to passing through the wall. Noticing her rub her hip again, he shook his head, but kept pushing the trolley through the crowd.

Her arms were getting tired, and for once she wished her Pygmy Puff could turn into a more helpful pet and help her right now. Lottie wasn't about to leave her trunk unguarded as she went to fetch her dad. So, obviously, she stayed...still struggling with it.
Until someone came to her rescue...
...or, yeah, her rescue? Because the boy could've been talking to someone else that needed help? Nope. He was talking to her.
BEAM. Her eyes followed him as he swiftly placed the trunk back in place. "It was so heavy." She breathed. Clearly mesmerized by how quickly he was able to lift it...and she couldn't even make it move an inch. GRANTED, he was twice its size, so...that probably helped. But then he asked if she'd dropped something else and she narrowed her eyes at him, but only a little, not too much. "I didn't do it on purpose...," if that's what he was getting at.
She had the sweetest of smiles now as she decided to introduce herself. He had helped, after all, so he was getting her name. "I'm Lottie." He got the 'Lottie' treatment because of his actions. Not 'Lotus'. "You are?" The 'thanks' was coming later, of course.
"I'd let you in by yourself," the old woman started. "..but the place is still too crowded." She couldn't just leave her granddaughter on that busy Platform eh? She wanted to see to it that Beatrice had settled down comfortably in the train.

Ariella smiled gratefully at the girl as she helped her up off the floor. She knew that not many would pay much attention to a little first year, let alone help her up. Ariella looked over the the girl's right and noticed that the girl was here with an older woman...her grandmother!
"Thanks," Ari said quietly as she brushed her clothes off, "Again I'm really sorry for bumping into you. I guess I wasn't paying much attention to where I was going..."
Ariella wasn't quiet sure if she was apologizing to the girl or to her grandmother, who didn't seem very happy about this whole encounter. She didn't look quiet as friendly as Ari's own grandmother but who was she to judge a book by it's cover.
"Um, I'm Ariella Day," She said awkwardly as she stuck out her hand. She figured she should at least introduce herself, try to makes things less...tense.
Too many students and moms and dads, Louisa kept her wand in her hand, the trunk and cat basket floating next to her as she moved slightly to the side. Two cats to take care of, one of which were highly stubborn and a stuck-up. JUST great. She had to name the other cat, though, she couldn't just keep on calling her the darker cat.
She put down her luggage on the pavement by one of those wide pillars and sat down on her trunk. Her back against solidness where no one could sneak up on her and elicit one of her panic attacks. She pulled the strings of her hoodie, her face barely visible and started toying with her wand waiting for the Express to give its signal so that they could leave.
Max felt pretty good. His most recent goodbye to Ellie had been so nonchalant and so casual - it didn't feel like he was saying goodbye at all. It actually hadn't even hit him that Ellie wouldn't be on the train with him as he made his way down to the south end of the platform. It hadn't even crossed his mind yet - he was just thinking about the fact that it was his last train ride to Hogwarts ever.
The last one. The LAST.
There was an odd mix of feelings in the pit of Max's stomach - excitement and elation to return to his favorite place in the world, but also dread that this was the last.
It appeared as though one of his classmates had more feelings of the latter, Max thought, as he noticed what appeared to be Louisa camped out by a large pillar. He knew it was her, though - they had been classmates long enough for Max to recognize her silhouette from a mile away. She looked... a bit on-edge, from what he could see of her face, and the obvious gesture of trying to hide in her hoodie. That was a big clue.
He walked in her direction, his single trunk lugged behind him. "Louisa," he said, half as a greeting and half as the beginning of a concerned statement. He shot a glance at her wand as he set his trunk down next to hers and plopped down on it, his hands on his knees, now looking at her with furrowed eyebrows. "Are you all right? Nerves?" He wanted to follow up that inquiry with a pout of 'I understand - IT'S OUR LAST TERM!' but he thought better of it. No need to make the situation worse.

"You're welcome," the brunette gave her a smile. "Naah, don't be. We all have our own clumsy moments." How many has it happened to her? LOADS. So how clumsy is she? VERY.
Why was her granddaughter so considerate when it was pretty evident the girl was just irresponsible and careless. An accident could've happened! Beatrice cleared her throat, "It was obvious she wasn't paying sufficient attention. It was only necessary that she apologize." And she ought to be correct, because she was older.
Ehh? To alleviate the burning fire, Beezus just curtly nodded at her Grandmother and mouthed a 'sorry' towards the girl's direction. She accepted the young girl's hand and shook it gently. "Nice to meet you Ariella, I'm Beezus. Beezus Castell.. and," she glanced at the woman behind her who's eyebrows had started forming knots, "...this is my Grandmother Beatrice."
Please, Grandma.. be nice.
Right after her granddaughter had introduced her, she instantly pounced on the conversation. If this girl was going to be a friend of Beezus, then she had to know if she was worthy. "Are you attending Hogwarts too? If so, which house?" she questioned.
"You're welcome," the brunette gave her a smile. "Naah, don't be. We all have our own clumsy moments." How many has it happened to her? LOADS. So how clumsy is she? VERY.

Beatrice cleared her throat, "It was obvious she wasn't paying sufficient attention. It was only necessary that she apologize." And she ought to be correct, because she was older.

Ariella once again smiled at the understanding girl for being so kind to her under the circumstances, but her grin flatered a bit when her granddmother her opened her mouth and responded. A blush grew on her face from embarrassment but she felt a bit better when she noticed that girl mouth sorry in her direction...
"Nice to meet you too Beezus!" Ariella looked over at her grandmother straight in the eye and nodded her head towards her, "Ma'am..."
She was slightly surprised when Beezus's grandmother jumped into the conversation, asking some question of her own...
"Well, this is my first year at Hogwarts! I'm really excited about the sorting but so far I've been rooting for Ravenclaw! I think it will fit me best..." She said with her eyes sparkling with excitment, even this old womens foul attidute couldn't damper her excitement about starting school...
It was lucky for the boy that Louisa was already looking to her right when he made his way toward her. If she hadn't seen him, he would've been hanging by the ankle in the air by now as a reflexive reaction to his greeting. Was that even a greeting? 'Louisa'? Maybe an acknowledgement. She watched him set his trunk down next to her, he didn't have an owl cage or a cat basket... did he have a rat? Her eyes hanged on the collar of his shirt expecting a small rodent head to poke out at any moment. Maybe a pygmy puff like Selena, or simply a reptile like their previous yearbook editor? She never saw one in the common room other than that rude boy's so probably not a reptile.
That trailing-off-from-topic thing? That became one of the Ravenclaw's characteristics these past two weeks. It took her a moment to blink, swallow and nod in reply to her fellow eagle, "Yeah. It's the end of the journey, you know.." she tried to smile at him but when that failed, she quickly looked forward. "I thought it'd be a happy occasion when I imagined this moment of us being the oldest students in school." Her hands kept toying with her wand as she went on, "We would tell them fake scary tales about the Giant Squid, playfully tweak stuff about the Sorting hat, and fun stuff like that." She actually had her version of the Sorting ceremony ready for any firstie that would bump into her, this is how ready Louisa Carter was to be happy this year.
Clearing her throat and looking sideways at him she nodded at his single trunk, "You don't have a pet?" Six freaking years and she never noticed what his pet was. This year, she was going to catch up to whatever she missed up on with the others, because you never know when you los-- NO.
Moving on from dismal ideas. "A cat? An owl?" The pet talk suddenly seemed very important.
Jimbo will set his turtle loose on you. { The Farley } "That's trademarked, don't use it."
So it begins. New town, new school.
And...

Maybe something could take her mind off things...
New people.
Huh. She didn't look too bad. A pretty good first choice in his opinion.
Let the games begin.
Pulling his luggage behind him, Ace casually brought himself beside the girl. Setting his luggage steady, he stood there for a bit, pretending he was just waiting for the train beside her and stealing a couple glances now and then.
"So..." He began, leaning a bit on his luggage and staring out in the direction the train should be arriving from. "How much longer do you think it's going to be?"
Taking a look over at her, finally, he grinned largely. "People call me Ace. What's your name?"

She still wasn't going to let him not let her try the coffee-flavored chocolate, or let him stop their truffle experiment before it got started. It wasn't like her caffeine rush would affect the results, anyway. "Anyone who would wonder if I was alright doesn't know me anyway," she replied with a giggle. That was totally true. Jeremiah hadn't even come over to check on her right now during her minor hyperactivity, and she knew he wouldn't check on her after she'd added chocolate to the mix either. Besides, maybe they'd be on the train by the time the chocolate really hit her and he wouldn't be around to check on her. And Patrick had distracted her by talking about being distracted anyhow, so she'd stopped thinking about her brother. "You're thinking about a story," she asked. "Like about your superhero, or something else?" That was definitely almost as exciting as chocolate, even if he still hadn't given her any. Apparently they were going to try to figure out other stuff first, like why Orion was acting weird. Not evil, just kind of annoying. "He better not be trying to stop us from eating chocolate, 'sall I'm saying," she replied, shrugging as he'd agreed with her idea of the owl having been around a lot of people while in Eeylops. If that wasn't the reason for now, she didn't have any other theories. The owl just better not be trying to keep her from being silly.
She was going to anyway, so his owl just needed to get used to it. Especially as the conversation finally went back to the yummy chocolate and actually eating it. She'd grinned when he'd answered her question about the boxes, in any case, bouncing just the slightest bit on the toes of her combat boots. "So the little boxes are for me? Where's the big owl, though?," she asked. He better not have forgotten he'd promised that too. Or let someone sell it, because that would be bad. At least she'd be really disappointed, but before she could tell him that, the truffle box was held out to her. "Yep," she said, taking a couple truffles herself and eating them. "Do you think you'd still be able to take notes after we're actually bouncing off the walls?" They needed walls first, and she caught Jeremiah gesturing out of the corner of her eye. Glancing over, she saw that her trunk was gone, and then looked at the clock. Ooh, she thought, getting excited. Almost time to get on the train, which meant that there would actually be real walls to bounce off of. Once her and Patrick had eaten more truffles, of course. Right now she was still just working with her caffeine hyperness. Two truffles barely made a dent in that.
Before he could continue the conversation, Patrick had dug through his messenger bag of chocolate to find the box of coffee flavoured chocolate that had been mentioned earlier; he knew it would keep Kendall content for the moment seeing as he had known she was going to ask about the other things that he had promised over the summer. Once she started talking again, he couldn't help but chuckle since it was pretty amusing and true, he handed her the box then decided to speak without thinking earlier. "Of course and honestly those people aren't very fun. They usually turn out to be the ones who want to follow the rules all the time." People who had always followed the rules honestly had been the ones who crashed the party and just thought that getting into trouble was unnecessary, he hadn't entirely enjoyed people like that since it meant that he had to pretend to be something that he wasn't at times and he wasn't going to be that way. The fact that she had asked about what exactly he had been thinking about coming up with for a story since he knew she was always curious when it came to his writing which had had brought back the whole point of wondering exactly if she was still curious about what he was working on in Diagon Alley. "Yeah it's about my superhero, I sorta changed the description of how I had pictured him if you wanted to see it." Taking a folded piece of paper from the pocket of his jeans, he handed it to her so that she could look at it; he was going to ask her about coming up with a sketch since he hadn't been an artist but that could just wait until later.
"Yeah the little boxes are for you. And I've got the chocolate owl being sent to Hogwarts, I'll get it to you immediately so you don't have to worry." He knew that saying that was just going to stop too many questions from being asked although seeing that two foot owl at the school was going to draw a lot of attention which was something that he hadn't exactly wanted to deal with but the distraction of the truffles had been enough to keep his mind from wondering about that too much. Eating the truffles that he removed from the box, he couldn't help but grin immediately; they really were good but not even close to enough to really do anything. "Well mental notes at least, can't exactly write and be in the air at the same time though that would be pretty awesome if I could." It would give a new meaning to a superhero writer. Looking over at the clock, he had noticed the time and realized that the train was soon going to be arriving and he let figured that he should have moved the trolley so that his things could have been put on the train. "Maybe we need to warn the healer about our chocolate experiments next time.. in case we end up getting hurt." Not that he had expected it to happen, but it was just good to have that done.
Oakey felt like he had gotten what he deserved from Jarvis, a quick yelling and a smack on the head. I
t came as a huge surprise when Sophie's Dad, Mr.Campbell gave him a glare, then cast a spell at him! Oakey had no time to react! His whole face began to burn, it was like someone had tossed wasabi powder in his face! tears rolled down his eyes, as the burning sensation really kicked in! But the crying hurt too, the tears stung his cheeks. It was like it was boiled water! This was the worst punishment he had ever received. He would have rather taken a punch to the face from the telescope.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA Jarvis could help but chuckle at the sight he was seeing! Oakey's whole face just lite up into a bright read! The poor kid was writhing in pain for punching Sophie the Sophie girl in the face with a prop telescope. Seeing as Oakey had enough. Jarvis flicked his own wand and suspended the punishment. He gave John a quick smile, but also a stern look saying I'll take it from here, thanks.
"Who's Felicity?" Jarvis said, repeating the young girls question. "Oakey never told you?" He looked down at Oakey for a moment then back at the young girl. "She's his Girlfriend." Okay so maybe they weren't dating, but Oakey seemed so concerned with getting Felicity to London and saving her from Vampires, the two of them should be. "I don't know why he wouldn't tell you? He had a pretty epic summer."
Ugh now he had to make up for his own mistake. "I-it was a side job, while I was in America." Jarvis lied "I needed some extra cash for muggle shops so I performed some muggle magic shows at birthday parties." he gave a good fake chuckle at his own comment. "They've got some weird ways of faking magic." Okay the lie was over, now to top it off with some honesty. "I now some pretty cool coin tricks actually, you wanna see?"
Oakey's sudden heat flash went away thanks to Jarvis, now he had gotten what he deserved for sure. He looked up at Sophie while Jarvis rambled on about muggle magic tricks and revealing who Felicity really was...which she was not his girlfriend!
"I'm sorry Sophie." For both things.
John kept staring at the mean boy as his spell hit its target and worked just perfectly. He would have felt sorry for the kid... if he hadn't hurt his daughter. The boy deserved what he got now.
Of course, John wasn't evil, so he wouldn't let Oakey's head explode, but before he could do anything about it, Jarvis Toombs lifted the spell. Okay then. That was enough for John anyway. Hopefully the teenager learned his lesson.
Sophie watched with wide eyes as Oakey's face turned bright red and he started to cry! Her fellow Hufflepuff was crying! She had never seen Oakey cry before. It was SO sad!
"Dad!" She exclaimed looking up at her father and pulling his arm. She knew it had been him straight away. But once she looked back at Oakey, it seemed like the spell had stopped. Merlin, she was upset with Oakey, but not THAT much! "I'm so sorry, Oakey!" The badger was momentarily back to her normal self. Seeing Oakey cry was very shocking.
Before she could realise it, though, that Jarvis person was already telling them who Felicity was. Sophie's eyes widened once again and her expression became almost angry immediately. "What??" She turned to Oakey. "Your girlfriend?" She asked in disbelief. Sophie was pretty sure Laura and Oakey were a thing already. She had seen them together with her own eyes back in Diagon Alley!
Sophie wasn't perfectly fine with Laura yet, but that was NOT acceptable! "Oakey, how can you do that to Laura???" No big efforts to hide the indignation tone of her voice. He was sorry? What??? Was that even good enough?? "You have TWO girlfriends at the same time??" So non-Hufflepuff of him!!
This Oakey kid was a terrible company. John deeply hoped Sophie wasn't really friends with him and would stop hanging out with this kind of people. Was he even a Hufflepuff? Probably not. The kid had TWO girlfriends at the same time?? That awarded Oakey another hard stare from John. No spells this time, though.
This boy needed a better education.
John was so shocked at that teenager's actions that he only half listened as Jarvis Toombs explained the muggle magic tricks issue. "Yeah, I know about muggle magic tricks." He said as he still eyed Oakey from the corner of his eye. "They are kind of foolish, are they not?" Though John had to agree they could be entertaining sometimes. "Sure, why not." He would watch the coin trick.
But I still have my eyes on you, Oakey.
His face said it all.

Cece couldn't believe she was doing this, but circumstances being what they are and her aunt asking her to, she had agreed to it. Looking back she noticed Jacen was lagging behind her. Great, just what she needed, a pouty teen who didn't want to go to school.
Stopping she turned around, placed her hands on her hips and gave her cousin a look. "Do I need to hold your hand like your mum does Jacen?" She would do it if she had to. She didn't care what the boy said, he was going to get on that train and go to school.

Moving on from dismal ideas. "A cat? An owl?" The pet talk suddenly seemed very important.
Max nodded sympathetically as Louisa went on about the expectations of having fun as the oldest students. "Why can't we still have that kind of fun?" She sounded as though, for some reason, they couldn't still do all of those things. "It can be a happy occasion. We just... have to have the right perspective. Now isn't the time to be sad." Though he certainly felt sad himself. He watched her for a few moment before adding, "It's not the end. Right here, right now, this is the beginning of a whole new adventure. It's going to be what we make of it - so let's make it good, okay?" He was smiling now, and he nudged her gently in the side with his elbow as if to say, Cheer up, bud.
Did he have a pet? Well... "I'm not much of a cat person" - as he looked at Louisa's basket, he remembered why he preferred his crups - "and owls aren't my favorite either." They were mean and they POOPED and they pecked at fingers and they made little kids BLEED.
"I had an owl my first year. That was enough of that." Bad experience. "But, I mean, I have pets at home, if you could call it that... my dad's a Magizoologist, y'know." Did she know? He wasn't sure. "But I spend enough of my time at the Magical Creatures Sanctuary, so it's okay. I get my fair share of time with 'em." He didn't want her to feel BAD that he didn't have a pet with him. He just... didn't want one. Or, at least, any of the permitted creatures.
Max looked at her cat basket once more and gestured to them. "Sorry if this is a silly question, but... cats? Two?" Sounded like two. But why? It didn't MATTER, but Max was curious nonetheless.

Ugh she couldn't believe this. Punishment? Seriously? That older kid was just lucky she didn't mind going around giving out flyers. Honestly, who punished a kid for doing the right thing? It just didn't seem fair. Her eyes fell on the feline she was carrying around in her hand. It was all his fault, but she wouldn't blame him too much; the top of the train was pretty nice.
Making her way to the south end of the platform she saw an impatient looking woman who seemed to be having problems with a kid that was lagging behind. Forcing on a smile she approached her.
"Hello, as punishment for being a hero, I have to hand out these flyers. Here you go." She said, handing one to the woman, nearly dropping poor Felix in the process. Maybe she should have just let him walk because holding him while handing these out was proving difficult.

With a nod at her next suggestion, he started to carefully wheel her trolley forward. "See anything?"
Ohh, that made sense now. Because she practically knew about every face at Hogwarts...pretty much. "Those are both very cool houses." she said with a nod. "But I'm sure you'll like whatever you get. They're all real great." she added with a smile. They really were all awesome, but she had hoped in her first year that she'd make Gryffindor. That house was really awesome.
"What year are you gonna be in?" she asked curiously. He looked around her age, or maybe a little bit older. She seriously had barley any friends her age at Hogwarts, they were all younger or older. Only about five were her age, and that wasn't that much. And she could've sworn she was pretty much the only Gryffindor fifth year there right now...
Ronnie watched as he pushed it, and noticed one of the wheels squeaked loudly and didn't budge. "There we go. That's the problem, that one right there." she said, pointing at the wheel. Ahh, now she felt a lot better. So she wasn't getting weaker after all. Phew!

What was this?! Why was some kid pushing a poster in Cece's face like that? Okay, maybe it wasn't in her face, but still, it was something the woman didn't want or ask for.
But since she had it in her hand now she gave it a quick look over.
Really, someone was looking for a bat that wasn't even missing yet? Glaring at the child she handed the flyer back. "If I see this bat in ten years I'll let you know." Seriousley, how could someone know the exact date a bat would come up missing ten years from now?

Oh this boy was just asking for it now. "You may know how to get on a train Jacen but that doesn't mean you'll do it... without supervision." She may not have been around the boy a lot lately but she still knew how he was when he didn't want to do something.
"You'd really like it if I left now wouldn't you." Too bad for him she had promised his mother she would accompany him to school. All the way to school. Yes, that meant she was getting on the train with him.
