If you know the password, you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:
The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room is a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Some of the chairs had been transfigured into Chaise Lounges by previous seventh years, and never turned back. There are windows and as the common room is located under the lake, you can occasionally see mermaids, grindylows and the giant squid swim by. A fire burning hunter green flickers in the fireplace, before the rug covered floor. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as pride is one of this house's qualities.
This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a straircase straight ahead that leads to a room students may use as a quiet place to study, and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a staircase that goes down to the Boys Dorm, and to the right a staircase that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each staircase is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.
On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements and signup sheet with the words 20 minutes max on it, for those wanting to sit on the couch and stare at the fire all emo like. On one of the coffee tables you see a copy of the Slytherin Scroll, a newsletter only for Slytherin Students.
A box is on an end table, where you may sign up for or to be a Serpent Sidekick, and a podium with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.

Casually, "If you don't shut up about Theo, I'll thump you again. Harder this time." And get away with it again too. And yes he was aware that Kennedy was right there. Hiiiii Kennedy! The Head Boy got a wave too.

"C'mon Kat!" The seventeen-year-old called out as she bounded into the green and gray common room and made a beeline for the black loveseat by the green fire. "Glad to see the common room so quiet for once, isn't it?" She asked the younger blonde once she had settled into a comfortable position.
Kat sat down at the Common Room, tired from the night's feast (or whatever). Cass was right in front of her, chilling in front of the fire. Well, she can't blame the seventh year for relaxing once and a while.
Cass was right. The common room was strangely quiet. It was peaceful, and Kat half-thankful for that. Though it was really awkward because the Snakes are naturally boisterous and loud, no doubt. "For once, it is exceptionally quiet," the fourth year agreed.
"Wait," Kat looked back at Cass. "Are you trying out for Quidditch this year? Just curious. 'Cause I am... I'm nervous."

"Don't worry. You wont see me like that again," she said reassuringly. Because this was their final year, therefore she wouldn't be in any danger of being injured like that on the train again. Unless someone attacked them on the trip home. But that was unlikely. Most strange things tended to happen on the way to Hogwarts. Maybe that was why some parents didn't want their children to come? Meh.
"It's alright that you left me," Amelia lied. She didn't want him to feel bad about it, even if at the time she had wanted to hex him for it. But she wouldn't go around saying that. Which is why she made sure that her voice and the look on her face would be convincing. "Nell looked worse than me. From where I was it was obvious that she couldn't even really stay upright without help and she threw up. Obviously she hit her head hard," and at least that was the truth. The girl did look a lot worse than Amelia had, and she didn't know the extent of the other girls injuries but she could have been in a very bad way. Especially since she was lying on the platform. At least Amelia had been sitting up, and it was her choice to sit down in the first place. Mainly because looking down at her ankle had been making her feel dizzy, and in turn slightly nauseous. But sitting had definitely helped that, and she was sure it had more to do with shock and panic than anything else. Never mind that when she'd gotten up again she'd been unable to stand by herself... All that aside Amelia still hadn't been very impressed with Isaac and his chivalrous tendencies towards the other girl.
Although she didn't mind so much now. She was just put out. That and she knew she had a problem possessive streak, she was just happy that she could control it most of the time. At least in front of Isaac. Since it kinda made her act like a petulant child and that was the last thing she wanted him to see her as.
"Thanks," she said, giving him a happy smile. "But I kinda like higher shoes, even though they are impractical when it comes to school," she finished with a shrug.
"Definitely in the morning. I'll bind you and make you float along behind me if I have too," she threatened. And he should know that she was serious considering his 'initiation' from a few years ago. But even if she just ended up dragging him by the end to the healer she would make sure he saw her. Even if they had both probably sustained worse injuries through playing Quidditch before.
"Good!" Ugh, never again, he just never wanted to see her so hurt. It scared him! He didn't like seeing her in pain or injured like that! He'd seen enough injuries in his life. particularly one really bad one that he didn't talk about, that he swore now that he was almost a full wizard he'd do everything in his power to not see happen again.
Lifting his eyebrow, he wasn't sure he believed that. He knew he should believe her because she didn't lie often, and usually only to protect him. Which really bugged him at times. But he wondered if she was trying to keep him from feeling bad this time. "No 'tis not." he said softly, finding her hand and threading his fingers through hers. "Nell might have been worse, but I still don' think I should haf left ye." Nope, nothing could have changed his mind about that. "Yeah she had a concussion is what it appeared, she was talking on killing the pink princess who had stolen Ed away from her." Or something like that... "I came back as soon as Ed took her from me, but I still feel awful leaving ye especially after yer head was bleeding and ye couldn' even walk on thet ankle."
"It helps bein' not so much shorter then me then te, right?" hehe yep, he knew that part too. Though he still loved that she was shorter. "Ye look good in either ones, I still say. But wear what ye like most." Yep, whatever made her happy!
Laughing he shook his head "I could totally see ye doin' thet te." Yep, she could get him to do almost anything without trying though, just a kiss took care of that! But he'd be going willingly, cause he wanted to be on the quidditch team and if he didn't get this cared for soon, who knew what would happen with the shoulder injury!
"better than me.. I dont think i even made it to the common room my first night."she smiled. lies, she knew how to get here, it was simple but she had to make the first year feel a little better about getting lost
Ignoring the girl who had showed up they continued their conversation. "You're just saying that to make me feel better aren't you?" Faye said to her, still holding her smile.
It felt good to have a friend that Faye's attidude had improved greatly.
"I'm nervous for lessons though, not sure if I"ll even been good at magic." She nearly cried thinking of her wand upstairs and how she had nearly set her trunk on fire already.

"No Im really not, im telling the truth." she smirked " but dont worry about not being good at magic that's why your here.. To learn, So dont worry."
Kennedy raised his eyebrow at Aurora. She knew not to call him like that and if she was getting him back for calling her 'Rora she sure had no problem with it this summer, but he wouldn't say anything about it now. "M'hm, right," he said, leaning back and setting the books on his lap. He knew she wouldn't hurt a first year, hehe.
Potions? Oh, right. And he couldn't quite disagree with Aurora there. "You could have said that in a calm, collective manner," he shrugged, an amused smirk tugging at his lips. He wasn't exactly going to full on agree with her out loud. When Aurora put her wand away, Kennedy nodded with a smirk. "Very."
Then Sebastian was at his feet and Kennedy grinned at him. The only cat he liked...he didn't even like his this much. Kennedy reached down and patted it's head while moving his foot so Sebastian could play with his shoelaces.
He then looked up when the first year spoke.
O____________O
His godfather had a picture of him at Sugarplums? Since when... Oh, it must of have been that time the man forced a photo from him. Hmm. Kennedy smiled at the girl and extended his hand at her. "Kennedy Escalante, and certainly Head Boy," he said.
Kennedy then sent Aurora an amused stare. He got the firstie to call her 'Rora! HA! Take that! "Well, you should always take potions you trust, not just because you know what they are makes it right." His two cents. Wait...her brother? This firstie met Krys? Whaaaat? Whatever. Kennedy then tilted his head to the side. Slytherin worships Theo? Pfffffft! "Ha! That's funny," he chuckled. Funniest thing he's heard all day, actually.

Though it was funny... so maybe she giggled the tiniest bit. But then the girl called her Rora. You are so dead. she mouthed at him subtly, narrowing her eyes slightly.
"Can everyone just lay off Theodore?" she said suddenly, scowling a little. "I don't see why people have a problem with him." Honestly, he was a great little kid...

Serenity started off by completely ignoring Ariana, West and random kid. Now she could focus her attentions on the others. Her friend Rora first.
"We're not friends?! I wouldn't have guessed." Seri shrugged innocently. "And secondly.... whatever." she was bored of the lecture. She wanted a nap. See, boring people made her sleepy?
As for Kennedy, she liked him. She stood up and took his hand, "Nice to meet you Mr. Kennedy HeadBoy. I'm Serenity or Seri, but not Reni. I don't mind if you call me by my nickname, see." She winked at him knowingly. She hoped Rora knew she was being called Rora forever now. She nodded along to Kennedy. He was NICE. Unlike some Slytherins *glare*. "I think it's nice is family is proud of him..." Seri smirked. Yeah. It was funny. Serenity joined him in a chuckle and smirked at Rora.
Yeah, she liked the Headboy MUCH better than Rora. Apaprently they liked this kitty. It was some fluffy white thing. Seri wasn't partial to cats though.

He turned his attention back on Seri and smiled. "It IS nice. I'm sure you'll make your family proud too." It was in her. She's a Slytherin and Merlin knew pride didn't run short in them all.
"Sorr-eee." Seri said simply. Not that she didn't appreciate it, but half the common room seemed to have an opinion on this, plus she was really in the middle of this, and hell-o had she invited her to join the conversation?
:: Slytherin is full of a bunch of.. Ganymede didn't finish the thought. Instead she asked the older girl, "Who is Theo? I keep hearing about him but haven't met the guy. Is he like... your boyfriend?" Ganymede wanted to get under this girls skin. It was entertaining to watch her get angry and Slytherin's perhaps showed thier affection by doing this. ::
Theodore? Her boyfriend? Aurora actually started laughing at this and turned the the girl, "Theo is more or less a little brother to me." she said. "Believe me, I'm done with boyfriends."

Oh Merlin Delilah better not be in the dorms...
Ignoring her friends? Since when was she friends with Ariana-girl? She'd came and landed them in trouble in the feast. Well, they would have anyway butshe'd helped it. And then she'd cast a spell on her best friend Lex. She wasn't about to
get buddy-buddy with her! She rolled her eyes "How would you now anything about me and her? She hexed or jinxed or charmed or whatever my best friend so excuse me!" So it was probably a good idea to avoid her inless Seri wanted to get jinxed too. Actually, she broke a mirror last week, so she was already jinxed for seven years. Aha. Rora was off now. Whatever.
Oh yeah he hit a girl. Apparently West Odessa had no morals. And of course he would take orders for no-one. Bad Westie boy.
Yeah, he'd be Kennedy. But if she was ever Prefect or Head Girl, she was SO getting people to call her 'Prefect' or 'Head Girl' or preferably, 'Queen of Slytherin' or maybe 'Queen of Hogwarts'.. Hmm, she'd have to think about it, but she had a few years. Queen Serenity did have a nice ring to it. Queen Seri. Much better than 'Head Girl Wheeler' ick. She made a face. That just sounded weird.
Mhmm. Cue stare at Rora. If she didn't want to be called Rora then why would she tell some people to call her Rora, but not everyone? Way to confuse people huh? It wasn't even something embarassing. Seri didn't mind who called her what. Though she did like 'Queen Seri'. Yeah. That was never getting out of her head now.
Sure she'd make her family proud? OF COURSE she would. She was their ANGEL. She was already on their livingroom wall in a big print, like one great big shrine to HER. Well, her three brothers also had their pictures there, just CONSIDERABLY smaller pictures.
"So since you're Head Boy, you're like, the most IMPORTANT person in Slytherin right? Well, in the whole school except the Head Girl. And the teachers.." So many senior people huh? And Rora wasn't one of them. Yet. Hehe. And Kennedy didn't like Rora, at least she didn't think, so he would look after her right? And then Rora would have to be nice to her. HAHAHAH.

Kennedy waved back at West, but...
Thump?
He's hit a girl?
That was something Kennedy didn't and wouldn't stand. At all. "West, you don't hit girls," he sighed. Didn't his father ever teach him that? "No matter what they say or do, you just don't hit them." And he'd hate to be the bad cop here, but Kennedy had standards...rules...whatever, he was Prefect and Head Boy. "I better not find out you hit another girl," he said, raising an eyebrow at him.
Don't challenge him, kiddo.
Dylan waved off the greeting and returned to his book. He was exhausted...but with all the activity in the room, there was no way he was going to bed yet.
Besides, interesting things were happening...
Like Kenny's subtle threat.
Eyeing him over the edge of his book, the Captain didn't comment. Really...if Escalante was smart...he wouldn't lay a finger on one of his teammate...
The boys were young. Obviously they didn't mean any real harm by their actions.

No one was gonna mess with Kinsley? Hah. Lex and Seri weren't afraid of a second-year. Cue laugh. If he messed with her *anymore* he was getting it. She wouldn't normally tell on another housemate, but Theo was the exception to the rule.
Who was this guy anyway? Something to do with Quidditch she supposed. Yeah, she might not try out for the team. 'Specially since West and Theo were clearly on it, and she wasn't sure she wanted balls being hit at her from the other team. Let alone her own. Hmmphh. Inflated head? More than it already was? Seri took a quick 360 degree walk around Kennedy. "I must conclude, that I think his head is of a rather normal size. If I were to inflate it, I would likely need to know some kind of a charm, and as I know no such charm, I might have trouble doing so." Seri shrugged. 'Twas true though, she hadn't learnt any magic, not even before school when Joey had tried to teach her 'lumos'. She almost doubted she was a witch, but she would keep practicing.
With the look Isaac gave her she knew he didn't fully believe her about it being okay, but there was nothing she could do about that. "Maybe, but who knows what might have happened to her if she stayed lying on the ground. As for my head... I couldn't even tell you if I hit it, let alone that it was bleeding. I wouldn't have even noticed that if it weren't for the fact that I touched it. And, well, I probably could have walked. It would have been painful but if I took my shoes off I would have been fine Isaac,"and she would have been too. Plus they could have been separated at any time. The injuries she sustained could have been received in any game or fall, and since neither of them knew what actually happened in the confusion he shouldn't blame himself for that.
"Well yeah. I also like being taller than a second year," some of them were seriously taller than she was and Amelia really didn't think it was fair. Of course being petite meant that she was light and could be rather flexible but she still didn't much like it. Then again if she was permanantly tall she probably wouldn't like that either. "I shall," she told him decisively, before snuggling closer to him. He was warm and comforting, which she could use right now. Honestly she felt tired, but spending time with Isaac was much more important. That and she was scared of having a nightmare. She knew it was stupid, but she still was.
"After your 'initiation' is there much you can't see me doing?" Amelia questioned, an amused smile curving her lips. She still couldn't believe he'd thought he was being punished!

Shrugging he knew what she was staying, he just felt guilty for leaving her. "Well apparently Nell and Ed are now a couple." he commented with a smile flickering on his lips. "He told me hisself tenight." He couldn't fault him for asking her out finally. He'd known Nell about as long as Isaac had known Amelia when he finally asked her out too! He was just glad Amelia's injuries had been fixed easily. It wouldn't stop bad memories but the pain from the injuries were at least gone.
Making a face he nodded "I understand thet." Squeezing her hand gently that his was in, "Though I kind of like ye short." Heh, he did! He liked how she fit against him just perfect, how easily he could lift her into his arms when he had to. Well, he'd only had to one time but he'd certainly enjoyed it when he thought about it later. Smiling at her words that she would. He was enjoying the moment of having her there in his arms, and really didn't want to even think about heading to the dormitories for bed.
Laughing softly he shook his head "Not te much." hehe nope, he just couldn't. He wouldn't put anything past her! "But thet's one reason I love ye so much." he said leaning forward and kissing her forehead. His thoughts were going back to what he was thinking about at the hot spring earlier. He had an entire year to think on it, but what would her reaction be if he ever did ask her?
Dungeon sweet dungeon! Asher was home. After a pretty good summer, he was ready to get back here and start his third year. He didn't realize just how much he missed being here.
He had made a promise to himself that he would try harder this term to make better grades. At some point over the summer he realized that he was growing up. Yeah he was only a third year and turning fourteen years old. But it was never to early to plan for this big boy stuff. And he had quidditch to get ready for.
Which that was the very first thing he did once he got back was to sign up for quidditch. He walked over and flopped down in HIS chair in the common room, and took out his copy of Quidditch through the ages. He needed to come up with his own official moves if he made the team.

In her bright mood as usual, Cassia entered the common room after having a tiny tour around the castle. She didn't cover all the places she had wanted to visit because she thought that doing it gradually would be better. She had missed the castle badly and she had planned a schedule to drop by all her favorite parts of the castle. Today she went to say hi to the moving stairs, one of her most favorite part of Hogwarts. :|
Though, she hoped to come across someone to chat with unfortunately that didn't happen. So where was the best place to definitely find people…it was with no doubt the common room. She stood like in the middle of the common room noticing that already a couple of students were here and headed to one of the chairs. As she sank down on it. She sighed and started fidgeting with the pin she had it on her shirt. But really she didn't come here to sit alone. To her right was a boy who was reading. Cassia hesitated wondering if she should bug the boy considering he was reading. But somehow she acted before finishing thinking! That always happened.
"I'd recommend you to read outside, the weather is awesome" She said suddenly. Honestly it wasn't winter yet it's too soon to stay indoors. Although she herself was in the castle. "Oh and HI," She flashed the boy a grin. Manners, she wouldn't forget that now that she is a second year and not a firste anymore.

"That's nice," Amelia said non-commitally. Not actually having met either of them she couldn't really be happy or anything for them. Well she could, but not to any proper degree.
"You do? Why do you like me being so short? she asked, slightly surprised that he liked her height. Well, she knew he couldn't have minded it because he liked her, and she was beautiful, but she never thought he'd like her being short. Although, they did fit rather well together. Which was nice, especially when they were sitting together like this.
Amelia smiled sweetly, blushing slightly as he kissed her forehead and said he loved her. She'd never tire of hearing him say that. "I love you too," she whispered, tucking her head under his chin and stifling a yawn. She felt completely content at this moment in time.

He was all O______O inside when she said that's nice. But he didn't say anything about it outloud, or even show any reaction to it on his face. He'd only said it because he knew she might very well be jealous that he'd gone to help Nell on the platform. And figured if she knew that Nell and Ed were taken, she might not be upset if she saw Isaac around Nell. Oh well, he wasn't going to say a word about it.
"I do." he said winking at her. "I love it, because ye fit perfectly with me. If ye were much taller, it probably would haf been difficult te lift ye when ye were hurt te." Yep, and he liked that he could lift her easily! "I'm like ridiculously tall, but I like ye the height ye are. If ye were taller I'd still like it, but yer perfect at the height ye are I think." Yep, and nothing was changing his mind on that!
Relaxing as she tucked her head under his chin, he smiled softly to himself. "I could stay like this all night if I knew I'd get any sleep." he said laughing quietly.

"Honestly I'd be happy if I could have another 2 inches or something. At least then I'd be 5'6. If it weren't for magic I wouldn't be able to reach anything," which was true. Theo had arrived. In the boring common room, but it was still home to the awesome people. And it meant no PUFFS or CLAWS or LIONS in sight. Result!
He pulled off his robe as he entered, and tossed it aside as he lounged on the sofa. Don't worry, guise, he'd pick that up right before going to bed. Oh, look, there was West. And Rora, and Captain Dylan... The usual awesome gang of Slytherin. But they were also accompanied by un-awesome people like Serenity and... that other girl, whose name he did not know.
They looked as if they were having a heated discussion.

West, hearing this, privately disagreed. He thought that Sierra was the boss. Because she could tell Kennedy what to do, obviously, and because she was the Minister's daughter. And because of Lafay. So that meant Sierra was the boss.

Speaking of THEO!
West had things to TELL but he couldn't with all these people here. He would say things later and maybe see if Theo could help him with the mysterious TRUNK.
All he knew about it was that it contained something profitable and that Lainey had tried to bribe him to tell things about some bat called Mortimer.
If it was Egbert, West could have helped.
He stroked his chin thoughtfully.

Nodding, he could understand that. If she grew another 2 inches she'd be less then a foot shorter then him. But he still didn't mind, though he could understand how it would be totally frustrating about not being able to reach stuff without magic and even then being limited to not using magic til recently outside school. Then in shopping in the muggle world not being able to use it at all! "I can reach those tall things fer you." he teased when she said she liked that he was tall. But he knew how independent she was too. "We fit tegether perfectly." he said softly. Nothing better then cuddling your girlfriend while sitting together in a squashy chair!
"Nope might get some funny looks." he said laughing softly, nodidng at her comment on his shoulder "Yeah thet'd probably get really stiff come morning. Asher turned a page, and when he did he happened to catch West waving at him. Asher grinned and Waved back. "Hey, there Odessa. How was your summer?" He got up and plopped over beside of West, and put his fist out for a fistbump. Yes, West was cool enough for a Romalotti fistbump.

Asher who was just now aware of the nice discussion out his book down. He watched and then he noticed that there was another Slytherin watching the same thing he was. He slid over to and stood next the Theo.
"This seems interesting doesn't it?" He asked talking out of the corner of his mouth and rocked on his heels, excitely.

Asher was reading about Bludger Backbeat, when he heard a girls voice blurting out a recommention on where would be a nice place to go reading, He looked up from his book and at the girl. He nodded. "Yeah, I know. But their is nothing as confty as this chair out there."
There was a short silence in which he went back to his book he finished the last sentence and spoke again. "Hey." He replied back. "whatcha doing?"
Plus I couldn' carry ye te yer bed if ye fell asleep on me." Nope that thing about guys not in the girls dorms kind of was bad at times like this situation.
"I know, but that really only works when we're together," Amelia said, smile bright, but tone slightly sad at the end. The end of this year so needed to be better than the Summer that just passed. If she didn't see him she'd scream, probably at Isaac through a Howler. She should have sent him one this Summer, if he got that at least then he'd have known that he was meant to have come over, and hopefully done so once he escaped his parents. Oh well.
Moving her hand from his chest she twined her fingers with his as she listened to the steady rhythm of his heart. It was soothing to listen too while paying attention to the ruckus that other students were causing, some of them being their el capitano and West. It was interesting to hear what they were talking about, but she kept the majority of her attention on her boyfriend.
"Yeah...Don't worry though, I wont fall asleep on you tonight. Maybe some other time when it's not imperative that I not take a nap," maybe when she was meant to be studying or something. Although Isaac would likely disapprove if she did that. What she really needed was to study more to get better grades. But then, she wanted to go into fashion, that didn't require the same education as being an Auror did. She did find Isaac's dedication to education admirable though.
