Arabella-Marie had made her way down to where the boats were waiting for her and fellow graduates to carry them back over the lake to where the station was and the train home this brought back so many memories of her first year

Well despite her lack of any kind of response at the feast, Vickers decided to actually make true on his word. When he saw Louisa leave for her last Hogwarts duties he seized the moment to take her luggage that looks to be done and loaded the large ones along with his own to that which will transport the heavy items. The rest he started loading into those boats-- carefully as he didnt want any undue accidents on this last trip across the lake.

He hadn't even gotten the chance to take the boats since he'd been a fifth year when he had arrived. Standing next to the boats Isaac looked down at them as he thought over the last three years. This was it, it was over. He hated knowing he'd probably never be back again, he wasn't looking at becoming a professor so that wouldn't even be what brings him back. Sighing he waited til someone he knew or Ed showed up.

...what was this magical awesomeness?

Ed practically skipped down to the boats, but his method of getting there changed to walking as soon as he realised Isaac was there. Clearing his throat, he stepped up beside his best friend. "Ready to go, lanky?"

Looking up as he heard Ed approach Isaac nodded "Guess this is it huh?" Shaking his head he glanced back towards where the castle was. "'Tis only been a year fer ye but this has become me home, especially this past year bein' I don' know where I'm goin' when I get back te London." Yeah he'd finally admitted it. He didn't have anywhere to go.

"Mum and dad want me te come down there but I jus' don' want te go te Australia, 'tis jus' te far."

Arabella-Marie got onto one of the boats and sighed as she looked at Hogwarts for the last time and knew that she would never see the sight of the castle

"Yeah, man." he looked back at the castle too and nodded at Isaac's acknowledgement of Hogwarts being his home. "This place was starting to mean something to me too." he sighed softly, but then looked at Isaac as he said he had nowhere to go. "Well... there's always my place." he offered without hesitation. "Dad won't mind, just as long as you don't touch the potions equipment except to help."

Looking up as Ed spoke he nodded "It does thet te ye." he said before turning his attention back to the boats. "Sad we probably won' see it again." This was the final goodbye to his home of three years. Looking up again as he said there was always his place "Ye sure he won' mind at all?" he asked in amazement. His hopes were definitely up now, he hadn't thought Ed would do that, but he needed a place and until he got a job somewhere like if he was accepted into the Yati program, he needed a place. "I wouldn' touch anythin' he wouldn' want me te."

"Amazing how attached a person can get to a building..." he murmured, still looking at the Castle. He'd met his sister here and had some adventures over the year. "I know, maybe we will. Maybe we'll get called back for being too stupid to go out into the world." he grinned at Isaac.

"Nah, he's pretty chilled about it as long as you don't touch his stuff. I don't think he notices when I'm there, really." he frowned slightly, but shrugged with another smile. "Then you'll be all good. He might forget your name though, he usually forgets mine until he needs something." he snorted, shaking his head as he nudged Isaac toward the boat. "Go on, get in, loser."

Nodding "Yeah..." he murmured. A grin appeared on his face at his bestie's words. "Yep gotta do the seventh year over because we failed every one of our NEWTs."

His eyes went to Ed's when he spoke and nodded "I'd really appreciate it. More than I can say." he said quietly. He picked up his meaning though when he'd said barely noticed he was there. A grin appeared at his next words "Thet don' bother me really, and hopefully I'll haf a place of me own once we become YATI's." Shaking his head he laughed to "Well thet makes it easy stayin' out of his hair.

"Alright little elf." he said sticking out his tongue at him as he stepped into the boat moving to the other end.

"I flunked every last one on purpose." He grinned at Isaac, looking pretty proud of himself even though he was just joking.

"No problem. I'll sort out the spare room when we get back." He was definitely happy he could help him out, he knew it'd been one heck of a year for Isaac. "Good, plus it means you won't have to remember his name." He chuckled, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Oi, I'm not an elf, I'm Santa's little helper." He aimed a playful kick at Isaac before climbing into the boat too. "...uh. Do you think these things move themselves?"

Laughing at the look on Ed's face when he said that "Yeah well I guess we'll see ye in the Yati program next year then not this summer?" Shaking his head he loved teasing him, and knew Ed was just joking but he couldn't resist.

Nodding he grinned "Thet's definitely a load off me mind, I can send me owl down te mum and dad and say I'm stayin' in England." Laughing he shook his head "Well I should at least learn it once so I can greet him with something other than sir."

Snorting he bent down to sit in the front of the boat when Ed spoke again "Erm wha...." as he turned to look at Ed he got a push from his foot from behind and went head first into the water "Ye prat!" he sputtered as he grabbed the side of the boat soaked through hanging on trying to figure how to get back in.

"Aw, you mean I have to have good grades to be a trained troll?" he smirked at Isaac, but inhaled the clean air deeply as he closed his eyes. He'd miss how the air smelled around here.

"Good! I'm sure they'll be oh so pleased." he snorted, knowing Isaac's parents probably wouldn't be too happy. He snorted again at the prospect of his dad being called 'sir' and shook his head. "His name is Gary."

Surprised that his kick had connected, Ed watched with his mouth open and eyes wide as Isaac went straight into the water. He didn't know what was funnier, the fact that Isaac had fallen in or that he was now spluttering while hanging onto the side of the boat. Almost doubled over with laughter, Ed considered offering a hand to Isaac, but knew he'd probably get pulled in himself, so he just resorted to sitting down in the boat and holding his stomach as he laughed.

"Thanks a lot!" he said sticking out his tongue "Are ye goin' te help me or not?" he asked trying to throw his foot up onto the side of the boat. Suddenly the boat started coasting through the water!

"WAIT YE STUPID THING! I'M NOT EVEN IN YE YET!" he shouted.

The water coursing over him drenching him again as the boat sailed across the lake he clung onto the side for dear life.

"Welcome." He smirked at Isaac through his laughter, but then as soon as he reached out to help Isaac, the boat started moving. He burst out laughing again at Isaac's yell. He leant over, got a good hold on Isaac's shirt and dragged him into the boat. "You stupid lanky Scot. You're meant to sit in the boat." he managed to say between laughs.

Louisa forgot to ask whether on this LAST journey she still had to keep an eye out on the firsties - err, second years now. But she did so anyways. However, the journey down the road was a special one for the graduates so she had to give up and just go back to her luggage after maybe lagging just a bit to see the carriages getting loaded with students.

Where in Merlin's beard were her trunks?! She left them right here-- Louisa's eyes scanned the dock quickly and paused at the boat with Vickers and her luggage inside. He did it. Even though she said she didn't help, he still did it. She wasn't sure how she felt about this but it was nothing negative. See, that was the wrong thing she told Vashti about! Louisa couldn't bring herself to be truly passive toward Vick. She just kept finding him excuses and merely avoiding him. No confrontation, no angry faces, just... ignoring. With the two of them in a boat like that though was going to be hard to continue on this silent treatment and he probably knew that. And took advantage of it.

Coolly the former Head Girl pulled the cardigan she's wearing around herself tighter and carefully stepped into the boat, her balance issue was not concerning her as much as making sure not to look at the boy sitting in there. Once she seated herself in, her two felines moved closer and snuggled by her legs. Good, she could just focus on the cats now.

Blowing a raspberry at him when he smirked and he reached up to grab his hand but it slipped from his as the boat dragged him a long. "And we jus' won' mention yer kick right?" he asked as he fell into the boat finally as Ed dragged him in over the side. Good thing it was a nice warm day or he'd be ready to throw Ed in as well!

"Yeah, let's not." He snorted at Isaac falling into the boat and held up his wand. "Want me to dry you out before you drip half the lake into the boat?" he smirked, staying well away from Isaac because he was absolutely drenched!

Snorting he shook his head "Nah I can do it." he said blowing a raspberry "Ye seem te haf a fetish fer gettin' me wet don' ye?" he asked as he pulled his wand out and used the hot air charm then a cleaning one so that he wouldn't smell like lake water.

"Mkay." Ed twirled his wand between his fingers, but then put it away and burst out laughing at Isaac's question. "It's not my fault, it just happens around you." He finally stood to lean against the light at the front of the boat and gazed out over the black lake. "So many good times." he sighed, remembering back over the year now.

Putting the wand away finally he hated the fact that the only scent he'd managed to figure out so far for the cleaning was strawberries because now he felt like he was in strawberry fields. Sighing he made a face looking up at what he said and shook his head "Yep at least though the one at the Leaky smelled better."

Stupid strawberries...he didn't even like them! "So many definitely." he said his voice with a hint of wistfulness in it.

Ed pulled a face as the scent of strawberries became the most prominent smell right there. He turned to see Isaac and smirked. "You smell like a girl." Like a girl's shampoo to be more specific.

"I just wish I'd had more time here." Siiigh.

"Oh go stuff a basilisk back in its egg." he said blowing a strawberry raspberry. Well heck at least Amelia liked the smell. AND didn't tease him for it. "If ye can do better feel free. AND NO FLOWERS!"

"Yeah me te." he said quietly looking back at the castle as they moved away from it.

Snorting at Isaac, Ed shrugged at him. "No shame in smelling like a girl." He smirked at Isaac's demand of no flowers and conjured some up without a second of hesitation. He turned to look at his best friend and shook his head, sighing sadly. "I was going to give these to a beautiful lady, but since Nell is on the carriages and you look like you need it to make you feel pretty, I could make an exception. I'm sure she'll understand." He threw the flowers at Isaac with another smirk, holding back his laughter.
