The classroom you enter is bright and well lit. It's not too large; just spacious enough to fit the students. Rows and rows of small desks line the walls, each equipped with it's own ink well, quills, and parchment for taking notes. There is also a jar of paste and a bowl of hard pasta for you to use, but you shouldn't touch those just yet. Next to them sits a nametag for you to wear.
As you sit down, you notice an old man at the front of the room. He looks very spiffed up, with his dark suit and tie creased to perfection and his shoes all shined up. The man has a goofy smile plastered on his face, and he looks so funny that, for a moment, you don't realize that he's sitting in a wheelchair. In front of his chair sits a large object. His arms are protectively draped around it, but you can see bits of it where his arms cannot reach. It's a giant jar, made of pure crystal, that seems to light up the whole room. The elderly person looks at it almost affectionately, but he tears his gaze away when he notices you.
"Come in, come in!" He exclaims, beaming at you. "Sit! Relax. Oh— and you won't mind sticking on a nametag, will you?" He pushes the jar behind him and wheels over to the door, greeting students as they enter. Come on inside! Take a seat. Mr. Sherman Clark is waiting.

Awar came in slowly, she seemed to be the first. "Hello sir." she smiled at the old man. She wrote her name on the given nametag and picked a seat towards the back.

Ella Bishop was excited for the seminar. Not only because most of the seminars she'd attended had been super interesting, but because THIS seminar was being taught by none other than Hulk's Grandfather. GRIN. And seeing as Hulk was super awesome, Ella figured her Granddad would be as well.
The third year skipped into the classroom, skidding to a halt in front of the older gentleman and giving him a wide smile. "Hello Sir!" Beam. "I'm Ella." And he was SO cute. D'awww. There was just something about old people that made you want to pinch their cheeks! Not that Ella would pinch his, that would just be plain awkward. Even more awkward than her usual amount of awkwardness. Yup...no cheek pinching.
Picking out a seat in the middle of the room, Ella plopped down and picked up the name tag and her quill. She was seriously tempted to write Ellasaurus on it but decided against it. What if the name alone scared the guy! Meep. She didn't want that. So instead she wrote down ELLA BISHOP neatly and with a small heart at the end. Yup, cause the heart was totally necessary. She then peeled off the sticker and slapped it on her shirt. BEAM. All done and ready to rumble.
Nigel walked into this seminar not knowing what to expect. But he was surprised to see a really old man in a wheel chair. Well This is the first time Nigel was seen a wheel chair in Hogwarts.
"Hello, Mister" Nigel did not know his name. So he decided to call him mister. The Ravenclaw walked over to the the name tag and like the last seminar he wrote Awesome where he should have put his name. He pinned it to his chest. He turned and went to empty desk and sat down think about what this old man was going to teach us.

Minerva walked in the seminar. This was the first one she had been to this term. Looking around she saw Ella, "Hey Ella" she smiled. Then saw the older gentleman, "Hello, Sir" she smiled and found a place to sit.
Looking at the name tags she picked one up and started making it. Sticking it on, she smiled and wondered what they would be exactly learning today.

This school proved to be weirder and weirder by the day. The latest bit of weirdness she found was the whole idea of seminars--didn't they learn enough in classes?
Cough. Not that she was against learning but really, every kid had their limits and hers was already reached. Hopefully it wouldn't be all boring or she was just gonna catch up on some sleep. That seemed scarce since recently. Most nights she was up trying to get the homework she neglected throughout the afternoon done. A habit she would have to kick because she was missing the whole 8 hours sleep thing.
Entering the room she was taken a back by the fact that there was an old man up front. OLD MAN!!! They were always so nice especially when they were yelling at her and Will. Such silly little devils they were and now it was official. She would like this seminar. GRIN.
Picking up a name tag, she scribbled her name and attached it to herself. Noooow she was ready.

Emmanuelle hadn't really been planning to come to this seminar, as she had a lot of homework that needed to be done. But, curiosity had won out in the end, so she made the short trip from the dungeons up to the ground floor and the room off the Great Hall. When walked into the room, she was momentarily shocked at seeing a little old man in a wheelchair greeting the students. Even more shocking to her was the object he seemed to be clutching. What was that thing? It seemed to emit some kind of light, whatever it was....
"Oh hello, sir," she greeted smiling, finding herself a seat. "Sure thing." She looked at the desk in front of her and quickly found the name tag. Picking up the quill, she quickly but neatly wrote 'Emmanuelle Moreau' and stuck the tag in an easily visible place on her shirt. Ready!

Entering the room, Kurumi was a bit startled to see an elderly old man greeting them but recognized him immediately thanks to a certain little lion who often told her she was doing to DIE from love germs. Her lips curling into a smile, Kurumi grabbed a name tag and wrote her name on it, pressing it to her robes and then meeting the man's gaze. "Hello Mr. Clark," she greeted with a small bow. "I'm Kurumi Hollingberry, Gryffindor Prefect, and good friends with Alice. Welcome to Hogwarts!" More like big sister to Alice, but last time she had introduced herself that way to people it had caused confusion.
With one more quick bow, Kurumi then made her way to her seat and eyed the jar that the old man had been looking at as though it were the love of his life.

Oh yeah, this is definitely one seminar he wasnt going to miss uh uh.
He wrote to his Uncle about this seminar. And although the silver-haired former Mysteries head was surprised, he only had good things to say about his former staff. And he had a request from his nephew-- to keep him up to date with how the seminar will turn out. Suffice it to say he had (has?) vested interest with the subject matter the wizened Unspeakable will be discussing today...
... once an Unspeakable always an Unspeakable right?
As the young man entered the door his piercing blue gaze trailed the room taking note of the bell jar before finally settling on the old man. This must be Mr Clark. And a quick shift of his gaze towards the floor and he spotted the wheels from the wheelchair. Yup, its definitely him.
He took a nametag but approached the old man with a ready handshake "Mr Clark?... I'm Vincenzo Vanderbilt. You knew my Uncle Corin Vanderbilt? He sends his regards."

Entering the room, Nerida found it a bit odd to see an adorable elderly old man greeting them but smiled anyways it was cool to see something odd everyday. Life would be boring without any odd stuff. She grabbed a name tag and wrote her name on it, pressing it onto her robes and then looked over to the man. "Hello sir," she greeted with a warm smile "I'm Nerida Eventide.Welcome to Hogwarts!" After she had finished greeting the adorable odl man she made her way to her seat.
Ariana skipped into the seminar.. wasnt this the one with the guy from the ministry and the department of mysteries or something causeee that was Awesome!
Walking in she went over and got a name tag.. most seminar's had name tags.. She wrote down her name

This seminar was going to be....very different than the other one. And Elliot kind of found it fascinating..she really did! She entered the room, and sort of...stared...a bit...she didn't expect their...'teacher?' to be an old man. Regardless, he seemed nice enough. It must be a requirement here, that to teach a seminar one needed to be really friendly. Because that other woman, Cel..something or another had been equally as nice...and cheerful..hmmm.
She nodded her head in greeting at the old guy and smirked a bit. "Good day, sir," she said pleasantly. He looked oddly familiar. Or something. Hmmph. Whatever! She grabbed a nametag thing from the stack and found a seat..kind of by itself. She wasn't friends with any of these people in here...hopefully someone she DID like would be here for this...hopefully!
She sat down and scribbled her note...neat and script....Elliot Morganzo. THERE. Her perfectly BEEAAAUTIFUL name for her beautiful SELLFFF!

Eliza had taken extra care to pack plenty of parchment in her bag before she went to the seminar. She'd missed the first one and was delighted that she had found time in her class schedule to make it to this one. She was walking a bit fast when she crossed the threshold of the giant Great Hall doors, so fast that she almost didn't notice the adorable old man in a wheelchair seated directly beside the entrance. She skidded to a stop long enough to give him a quick smile, nod, and a, "Good day Sir!" before she nearly toppled over from her momentum. She launched her leg out to keep from falling and zipped back up to speed until she found a place at an empty desk. She picked up the blank name tag and doodled her name onto it. It was still legible, but maybe she should've left off the leaves and stars so that the elderly man could make out the letters better.

Theo wasn't sure how he felt about seminars. The last one was fun, but tiring. They always seemed to be more active than any ordinary lesson. But he guessed that wasn't THAT bad, really. He blinked a few times as he entered the brightly lit classroom, then took a seat next to Ella, offering her a smile as he did so.
She wouldn't mind sitting by a little Theodore. Nope. She didn't have a choice in the matter.
Theo wrote his name in big letters, purely because the man was very old so he didn't fully trust that his eyesight was up to scratch. It's okay, this second year was a team player. THEODORE KINSLEY. A little too big? Ah well..
"Hallo, mister."

Another Seminar yay! Sarah bounded in. "Hello! My name is Sarah Edwards" she said. "oh you want me to right it down?" and that she did. She took a name tag and wrote as neatly as possible:
Quote:

She then sat down at a desk and was about to take out some writing implements when she noticed that they were already supplied. She put her satchel back and admired the neaty laid out materials.
Hard pasta? Was it raw Sarah liked the taste of raw pasta very much!
The room of the great hall. Apparently that was where this seminar would be taking place today.
Eager to see what was in store, Ness rushed a little as she made her way through to the correct room. She then walked inside and smiled excitedly at the old man before her. The oldie was actually quite adorable, and was nothing like what Nessie expected him to look like.
Weren't people in the ministry supposed to be boring? Meh..maybe that was just a silly idea, becuase this old man looked awesome just by the smile on his face. Ness couldn't help but giggle as she greeted him. "Hello, Sir. It's lovely to have you here today." That smile, she giggled all over again. The giggling stopped though when she noticed the wheel chair. She felt a little bad now and could only hope he didn't think she had been giggling because of that, because really it was just his smile.
Oh well, better not make more of a mess now. She headed towards an empty desk, plonked down in the seat and then took out her things as she noticed the name tag and other things sitting on the desk. She didn't dare touch anything, instead she grabbed her quil and scribbled her name onto the name tag.
A seminar? Very interesting...Orr wouldn't miss it for anything. She walked into the room. She nodded a hello to the old man waiting in the room as she took a name tag and sat down.
She wrote down on the tag her name

Another seminar. Hogwarts really liked doing these kind of seminar classes didn't they? Daichi thought it was fun as well because he would learn other things than the standard subjects.
So after seeing where the second lesson would be held he made his way to the room. He walked inside and first went to the old looking man, who he figured out to be the professor, and bowed slightly. "Hi sir, welcome to Hogwarts~" he gave a cheerful smile and waved both of his hands enthousiastically before he went to a desk.
The SlytherPuff sat down and inspected the jars for a second before his eyes landed on the nametag. He grabbed his quill and wrote on it.

Sherman beamed at all of the children as they came inside the room. "Hello, hello, children!" He wheeled around the jar to face them. "I hope you all are doing well! Come on inside. We'll be starting in just a moment." He should wait for the last-minute stragglers. His goofy smile remained plastered on his face, greeting every student that entered the room. But, though he did not seem so, the old man was nervous. All of these excited, young faces and eager minds, waiting to learn something from him. He, just a lonely old soul, had the attention of all these bright children.
And it was only a bit terrifying.

Another student? My, was he popular today. He was just about to greet the student when.. VANDERBILT. Vanderbilt. Did he just say Vanderbilt?
Sherman stiffened up. Oh. His old boss. The scary one. The very, very scary one. His face was frozen for a moment, but it softened up soon enough. "Vincenzo! It's so lovely to meet you. Corin spoke highly of you." More often than not, anyways. "Please, send my regards to your uncle. I trust he is doing well." He beamed at the boy once more, and then turned back to his jar.
He clapped his hands, smiling broadly at the students. "Hello, children! For those of you who don't know, my name is Sherman Clark. I am a grandfather of a young girl who attends school with you all. I'm also former Gryffindor, I'm an Unspeakable at the Department of Mysteries, and I'm very, very old."Beam. Beam. Beam. "At the Ministry, I work as a Time and Orb Specialist. Today, I've brought one of the Time Chamber's most prized possessions for you to observe!" He bounced excitedly in his wheelchair.
He unwrapped his arms from around the crystal jar and looked at it affectionately. "But, before we start, I must warn you," he said, his gaze hardening. "Please do not make contact with the jar, unless instructed to." Yes, poking about interesting things was fun, but it was too dangerous in this case. "I do request this for your own safety, so please refrain from touching the jar."
Okay. GOODBYE, SAFETY!SHERMAN. The old man's childish gaze returned as he posed the first question of the class. "Alright, children, let's get started. Does anyone know what this jar might be and what it does?" He started bouncing around in his wheelchair again, and began to scout the students for any raised hands.
They were supposed to be exceptionally bright. Or at least, that was what he was told.

Ella was just adjusting her name tag on her uniform when Theodore sat down next to her. She returned his smile with one of her own, stifling laughter as he wrote his name EXTREMELY large on his name tag. Heh. That was quite...considerate.
AWWWW. Mr. Clark was simply the cutest old man ever, well next to Ella's late Grandfather. She smiled to herself when the man mentioned being a young girl's grandfather, thinking of Hulk in her head. The way he had described Alice didn't really do her justice at all. He didn't even mention how ferocious she was! That was really important to mention. It was! Shrug. The third year giggled as he went on to call himself old, deciding he must be around her Gran's age or something. Meaning he was just at that age where he was relatively crazy and losing his mind but it was okay because he was super wrinkly and cute. JUST LIKE AN ELEPHANT. D'aww.
*____*
Ella stared at the jar thing that Mr. Clark was holding, listening as he instructed them not to touch it unless instructed. That couldn't be what she thought it was, could it? She'd read about Bell Jars before in books but to see one in a classroom was just... wow.
"Mr. Clark? That looks like...well a Bell Jar. I've only seen one in a book before but I think they're meant to like...speed up your aging or something like that." Hey wait! If they could make you age faster could they also make you grow younger?! Hmmm. Maybe Vindictus had been exposed to a Bell Jar! He was meant to be ancient but was still quite handsome, yeah? CURIOUS.
Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee
Well, REALLY. Vivi frowned slightly at the man as she pressed down her name tag. You bring a cool jar, you make a big deal about the jar, and then you tell people not to touch the jar. Vivi wanted to touch the jar. Immediately.
She sat on her hands and sunk down in her seat a bit. Harder to raise a hand that way, but whatever. He was a time specialist and brought a jar? "Did you bring that jar from where you work at the Ministry? From the time room?" If so, she knew what it was!
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
Oooooo the old man revealed the jar he was holding in his hand--erm...of course she was listening to his little introduction and everything else too..but really she just wanted to know about the shiny jar that seemed to be calling her. Yup. It wanted her to touch it even if the old man was saying otherwise.
Psssh safety? Safety was for Ravenclaws!
And he had a question. So to sum up, he was preaching on safety then asking questions. Was this all a ploy to make them forget about the jar 'cause it wasn't happening. Nope. She would pay attention during his whole question and answer thing but she was definitely gonna remember that the object was RIGHT THERE; quite unhidden and quite distracting.
"Ummmm, I don't know what it is but I bet it does something dangerous 'cause you won't let us touch it--does it make you explode?!?!?" If that was the case then she didn't want to touch it anymor--"Oh does it suck you into a black hole?" An even more intriguing thought. He did say he worked with space and stuff. She liked the black hole idea better. It meant she could push people into it.

Nigel had know idea what was in this jar. But he did remember hearing about this guy from his uncle Demetrius. He said this guy liked to sleep so much. It might have been narcolepsy. But since he did work in the coolest department in the ministry. Nigel would believe him about the jar.
"Does it have to do with Death?"
Death had to do with time too. So who knows. Maybe Nigel was right.

Oh. His beautiful, beautiful jar.
Was it just his imagination or did the elderly man look like he was about to have a heart attack after speaking to him? o_______O
But soon the Instructor have begun to speak again, quite jovially, which was a good thing-- they wouldnt have to panic and call for the mortician Healer anytime soon. Which is fortuitous for this Unspeakable. Meeting the Healer might actually send the old man an express ticket to the Pearly Gates....
"Oh well... he is." he replied smiling. He's just not allowed to say what his Uncle is covertly up to. "I will send him your regards Mr Clark. Thank you." he added lastly then settled into a seat.

He listened to the Unspeakable start with his lecture, and only shifted his attention back to the bell jar when the wizened Wizard asked them about it. For all the paternal closeness he had with his Uncle, what exactly the silver-haired man did in his job was something that was never fully revealed or talked about in the family. The unspoken ruling goes that if Corin didnt talk about it, dont ask about it.
Now that bell jar was one of those things Corin never revealed about. BUT Vickers being as well read as he was, remembered the few secrets from Mysteries that was published during the famed Harry Potter era. Slowly the Ravenclaw raised his hand and offered this reply "Sir, is it an object that demonstrates the cycle of life and death but....stuck in a loop?... kind of like a time continuum in a jar?"
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
