Text Cut: I <3 Alec Summers. BEAM. That's the spirit! Though, the uncertainty in his tone wasn't precisely necessary, nor helped his confidence either. But Lottie was sort of counting on him to win. It was important. VERY important for him to win. "Thanks!" He should keep that promise. Lottie saw the confusion on his face. Truthfully, she was the one confused. Confused because she didn't know why she'd said all those things to begin with, and why she'd said that in his presence. Reasonable people to open up to: Vickers, Spike, Louisa. Elliot, not so much. It'd make Lottie look like a softy, and she really wasn't one. The girl noticed how the bag of sweets seemed to be closer to her than to Alec. Nice gesture, by the way. She took a couple more sweets and listened to him. No, wait, she did belong at Hogwarts, just, closer to the dungeons, not the kitchen. He...did make her feel a bit better about this, though. There had to be a reason for her to become part of the yellow population here at Hogwarts. Pygmy puffs. Heh. The Head Girl had asked the same question, "I feed her a muffin as a treat, she needs to behave brilliantly to gain it, but Mags loves it. I guess not all of them do...," because this wasn't the first time she's heard this. They? "The elves? Yeah, they're the best cooks," clearly, sweets was something you also prepared in a kitchen. Ooooh. Third year. "I guess not." Heh. She smiled. He was harmless. |
SPOILER!!: I just love you! <3 But the girl looked so happy at his words! And that made Alec grin, even if a feeling of nervousness was starting to settle in somewhere inside of him. Why? Because he knew that he couldn't let people down, especially not Lotus who... seemed to believe in him so much? Yeah. "Anytime!" Just grin, Summers, just grin. At least she was taking some of his sweets. That was nice. And it would probably help her feel... better? That is, if she was feeling sad before. Yeah. Plus, sweets were awesome! It was as if they had their own superpower and were able to heal almost anything. Just like ice cream and hugs! ICE CREAM. GRIN. ... His? His house? What? He had a house at Hogwarts? SINCE WHEN?! And how come he didn't know about this?! ... Oh. She meant Hufflepuff, right? She had to otherwise... well... he didn't have an actual house. "Oh... but..." Now what were Hufflepuffs like? "I'm sure you're loyal and... fair and... work hard and... good at finding things." Yeah, she had to be! "And... erm... we love food! Why do you think we're so close to the kitchens?" ... Was that even true? Muffins as a treat... that didn't sound bad at all! "So... she's a good Pygmy Puff then?" Unlike his owl who liked to poop on everything when he was mad. "Maybe yours is special then!" GRIN. ... And yeah, he did mean the elves. "They are. I wish I could cook like that." Shrug. And it seemed as if the comment he had made about his year made sense to the first year. Awesome! He grinned, glad she wasn't confused. Because then he would be confused and things would get awkward. Yeah... |
Text Cut: *giggles* Again, you better win, Alec. Lottie half-smiled as he figured out what she'd meant by 'Yours'. It wasn't very difficult, you didn't belong to more than one House, boy. 'Oh'. It was about time. Wait, what? Her eyes were narrowing a little bit at his words, more in a curious way than anything else, really. Loyal? Well, wasn't everyone loyal to something or someone? That wasn't a trait any House should stick too, it's too general. As far as 'fair' went...Lottie wasn't. It depended, you see. Nothing was even thought as he mentioned 'work hard'. If she managed to get people to do her stuff, then all the better. Huh? The firstie smirked, but in a nice way, like she'd just discovered something, "I'm good at finding things," like sweets, and Alec. And that cherry tree she found with Spike. Yet she frowned at the kitchens bit, "I don't think that's why...," it was because that yellow House held the same traits ANY house elf would. And they cooked. Hence the closeness to the kitchens. She was no house elf. TSK, TSK. Mags? Special? "Yeah, most of the times," she smiled, her Pygmy Puff was well-behaved, thank Merlin, and her aunt for picking her out, "She is special, she's mine." Very logical, no? |
SPOILER!!: *insert manly giggle here* GULP. Okay, so he didn't understand girls and maybe he was a bit slow sometimes but... he was sure he hadn't said anything wrong. ... Or had he. Really, why else would she be narrowing her eyes? Unless... there was another reason behind it. Confused. Hair ruffle. Okay, so maybe he should think up of more good reasons about being a Hufflepuff! Maybe... maybe the fact that they were all such good friends? Because... well... he hadn't met a mean Hufflepuff. Not even a mean person in any of the houses. Maybe Milton, when he was mad about losing and started threatening about throwing people and chopping off arms. Alec focused his attention back to Lottie just as the girl started smirking. But... not in a bad way, he didn't think. Maybe she understood what he had said and was changing her mind? How awesome would that be? GRIN. Hadley would be so proud! GRIN GRIN GRIN! "Yeah? Awesome! So... you fit right in!" Maybe he was good at finding things as well. Like the Snitch? And his Dad's car keys. ... "Oh!" So his kitchen theory wasn't as good as he thought it was. "So...why do you think we're so close to the kitchens?" Not... that he was complaining. He liked being near the kitchens. "That's awesome! I mean... she doesn't poop on you or..." Not that he knew. And talking to girls about Pygmy Puff poop was just a bit weird, yeah? "Of course!" GRIN! "Erm... so... do you have any other pets?" Embarrassing pet stories... those were always fun to share! |
Text Cut: Alec! Yeah, Alec? We wouldn't exactly call it 'fit right in' if you pretty much share ONE single thing with the entire House. We'd call it, 'you're close enough to almost fit', and we wouldn't be that close to begin with. But there was something about his enthusiasm that made her not want to contradict him. He seemed to be the epitome of Hufflepuff, though, TOO nice. And she was...far from that, clearly. But he had candy. And he was a good Quidditch player. So yeah. "Oh? Why?" did she want to say that stuff about the house elves out loud? Normally, she would...but...oh, wait a minute, she was gonna. "All those traits you described before? The house elves have them. So the yellow fit right in with them if you think about it." Although her tone suggested no hard feelings, it wasn't the nicest thing to say to the epitome of Hufflepuff, yeah? That he was practically a house elf? Or maybe it was a good thing, if you were a big time defender of those cute creatures. She liked them. She just wasn't one of them. BIG difference. And the pets? Lottie smiled, "Oh, Merlin, no. No muffins for her in a week if she does that to me." Magenta was well-behaved, for a pet that belonged to a twelve year-old. "No other pets, no. Do you have one Alec?" she tilted her head to one side as she asked this. |
COMC Homework 2 Laura was so giddy at the minute after listening to the Fwooper song she had just one thing to say to a certain ghost that she liked. "PEEVES!!!!!!!!!!" Laura shouted, "WHERE ARE YOU?" Laura giggled as she looked around surely the ghost would be around later. Laura started skipping down the corridor and smiled. "OMG!!" Laura giggled as she tried to think about things. "PEEVES, PEEVES, PEEVES!" Laura giggled. "I LOVE YOU AND YOUR CHEEKY WAY PEEVES!!" Laura was giggling like crazy now. "PEEVES PEEVES, THE CHEEKY GHOST, THE CHEEKIEST GHOST YOU KNOW." Laura was really going to get Peeves to listen to her if she wanted to. |
Quote:
"Laura what are you doing? Don't call him, anyone but him. I know it's from the bird and class... Well I hope.. but think about it, you call Peeves and he will do something to make you get into trouble. Do you want that?" Oh she hoped she could at least quiet her friend. |
Quote:
Laura giggled as she nudge her friend this was epic right her friend was awesome. "PEEVES PLEASE COME AND SAY HELLO WE ARE YOUR NUMBER ONE FANS!" Laura giggled. "COME ON PEEVES I KNOW YOU CAN HERE ME!!" Laura giggled as she gave her friend a playful hug. "How awesome is this?" |
Quote:
She did break her frown for a small smile at Laura being so goofy. She knew her friend was acting under the song of that bird, well maybe. Then she looked at her curiously would she do this and just blame the bird.. No, not even Laura would do something like this. She just hoped she could calm her before trouble did come. Then there was a hug, oh.. umm. okay she hugged Laura back, "There you told him.. Now why don't we calm down and maybe go get something to drink or eat." |
COMC Homework 2 post 3 Quote:
Laura smiled at her friend. "WE SHOULD INVITE PEEVES TO A PARTY!!" LAURA SMILED. "PEEVES YOUR INVITED TO MY FRIENDS NEXT PARTY!!!!!" Laura shouted into the sky where was Peeves anyway surely he should be around. |
Quote:
Minerva rolled her eyes, there was just no stopping her friend was there. That song crazy should be toning down soon.. she hoped. Then she gave her an odd look, "There will be no parties, and Peeves is not invited. He was probably the one that crashed our last party. The one you and I both planned and then got thrown out of." She tried to be nice to Laura, but if she had to see Peeves she was not going to stay nice. |
COMC Homework 2 post 4 Quote:
"YOUR LYING TO ME." Laura pouted as she looked at Minerva. "PEEVES MINERVA WANTS TO KISS YOU SHE TOLD ME SOOOOO!" Laura smirked two people could play at the lying game you know. |
Quote:
Then she started again and Minerva got to her feet and grabbed Laura's arm. Not rough, just enough to get her attention. "Laura snap out of it.. Enough is enough.. Stop yelling for Peeves and stop saying I like him, want to marry him, and want to kiss him. All of the above are the grosses thing I have ever heard." She let go of Laura's arm. "Now are you done here so we can move on..." |
Quote:
O______________________________________o *blink* *blink* *blink* "Where am I?" Laura looked at her friend. "Why did you bring me here?" Laura was really confused surely Minerva wouldn't play a trick on her. "Where are the boys?" Laura smiled at her friend as she nudged her, this was really confusing she didn't seem to remember what had just happened. |
Quote:
Then she was asking where she was. A confused look showed on Minerva's face, she wasn't really thinking Minerva brought her there. "I didn't bring you anywhere Laura. I was walking down the corridor when I heard you yelling about Peeves. When I tried to quiet you, you started saying I was in love with him and wanted to Marry him." She couldn't help but glare at her friend. "You listened to that bird in Care Of Magical Creatures and went nuts.. Well more nuts then you already are.." Minerva gave a small grin at the last of her words. |

O________________________________O *Blink* *Blink* "No!" *Blink* *Blink* "No! I have no idea what your talking about I wouldn't say that, I know you go out with Ethan." Laura looked at her friend. "Tell me your joking please." She was really upset she wished she knew what she had done. "I remember listening to that Bird Song alright." Laura smiled, but what had she done after that, she wished Minerva would tell her the truth because if she had said what Minerva said she had she'd be sooooooo embaressed. "Hey!!!!!!!" Laura playfully nudged her friend. "I ain't crazy you know, I've actually been doing homework and working hard this term." Laura wasn't going to say anything else about it but she had been trying. |
Quote:
Then Minerva laughed, "Well Laura, you have showed your crazy.. It's not a bad thing, I kind of miss it at times. I actually wondered if you were doing this just because you could blame the bird." Minerva chuckled as she looked around, "Why don't we get out of here before Peeve or Myrtle shows up." |
Quote:
Laura looked at Minerva and took out a pie and splatted it in Minerva's face. "Got you, Race you to the Great Hall!!" Laura giggled and then without waiting to see what Minerva said, Laura raced off. |
Minerva shook her head, she couldn't believe that Laura would really think Minerva would lie. Had she ever lied to anyone? As far as she knew she had never done any such thing. So why would she lie about this. Minerva was about to suggest going to the great hall when Laura O___O threw a pie in her face, where the heck did she get a pie, and why on earth did she throw it at Minerva. That was it.. Min had enough, "There is no way I'm going to be going anywhere with you Laura.." She was mad at her friend for being so childish, pulling out her wand she cleaned up the pie and then headed down the corridor the opposite way. |
