The Eagles, who won the House Cup for this term, sit under a bright navy and bronze banner representing their house. This table should be filled with some of the merriest students; after all, they had a great, winning term, both in House Points and in Quidditch.

That was exactly the thing Louisa was keeping under control and refusing to let herself be this emotional in front of the whole school.
"I'm going to write, okay? And we still have summer! We'll go out, have ice cream or whatever you want." She offered helpfully. "I bet you write long letters like I do."
Louisa sighed faintly and started looking around, actually acknowledging where she was seated. Vickers was not around yet, was he still at the door? She felt the necklace heavier around her neck. Then there was Max and Vivi somewhere on the opposite side of the table. Then Ethan, her hairstyler hehe, and Harvey. The rude girl that hates candy and Taylor. Others not from the house but Louisa knew their faces without attaching names to them.
She suddenly felt tired. And sleepy. So she sagged on her spot and started to play with the spoon.
When Louisa came back over, Lily allowed herself to lean towards her older claw friend. She really wanted to be happy, but it was hard when she was going to be losing her mentor/friend/older sister. So she tried to dry her eyes when the head girl asked. Every now and again, her eyes would leak a couple of tears, but the third year would wipe them away as soon as they fell.
"Are you gonna go to a university?" She asked, purposely avoiding looking up at the seventh year because she knew if she did more tears would start up. "Because I think you should go to a university..... but one where you can come visit me in Hogsmeade." Even if she had to apparate to get there...
As for the letters, Lily's personal opinion was that there would be a ton of letters all the time. And with the idea of hanging out in the summer, the third year definitely wanted to do that whenever Benjy and her parents would allow it. "Will you take me shopping for next year's supplies over the summer?" Yep, true Ravenclaw at heart always thinking of her next exam or chance to study.
Lily didn't want Louisa to ever leave, but knew that eventually she would need to, so as her older claw friend was looking around at the other people in the great hall, the little redhead slipped out from next to the head girl and scooted out of the great hall quickly so that she could go get something, leaving only her best quill sitting on the bench beside Louisa.

And it seemed that Vivi had not taken the most beneficial leap in terms of her own happiness. The girl looked miserable regarding the topic at hand - and so did the other two Ravenclaw seventh years, Max had noticed. Even though she had caused much of their current dismay, he couldn't help but feel sorry for Vivi. "I know you thought you were making the right choice. But... if it doesn't feel like the right choice now... I don't think you're completely out of luck. Someone still wants to be your friend," he reminded her, nodding his head over at the unopened gift in front of her. "It looks to me like it might just be a... pride thing now. I can't imagine it could be easy to fix this," he stated honestly and gently added, "but often times... the right thing to do isn't always the easiest thing to do."
How did he get over it? Get... over Ellie? Ha. "Time," Max said quietly, looking down at the table in front of him. Six years worth of it, to be exact. But... she didn't quite need to hear that; it wouldn't have helped the situation much. Luckily, Vivi seemed much more emotionally stable and less... clingy than he was. He had been captivated by the power of love; he didn't know how far Vivi's affections for Vickers had gone, but he had a feeling that she would recover faster than he had.
"Time was the biggest healer. And... the realization that there were other fish in the sea. I think... maybe... there are a number of people we're truly compatible with and we'd be good with in a relationship; the kind of people we're immediately drawn to upon meeting them, personalities click perfectly, and you know you want that person to be a part of the rest of your life." His brows slowly began to furrow as he spoke, questioning his relationship with Em for the first time. "But... most of those people will end up as good friends, but there's ultimately one person that will truly captivate our minds and souls, y'know? And I don't think we know who that person is right away. How do we weed out 'the one' from all the other compatible ones?" He was thinking aloud now; he frowned at Vivi, confused by his own rambling. "Maybe 'time' is the answer there, too. Maybe... time is what heals us when someone is captivated by someone else, but also what shows us who captivates us enough to fall head over heels... who is the one."
Max paused for a long moment and rested his hand on Vivi's in a subtle attempt to console her. He would have rather given her a big hug, but he wasn't sure that she would have liked him to draw attention to the mood of the conversation they were having. Perhaps onlookers would just think they were sad to be graduating, but... Max didn't want Vickers or Louisa to think they were talking about them.
Even though they kind of were.
"So... maybe... graduating right now is a good thing. I do think it would be in your best interest to initiate some sort of... mending of your relationships with them before we get off the express tomorrow?" He raised his eyebrows cautiously, still trying to tread lightly. "That way, you'll at least not feel guilty for cutting off any sort of contact... and there'll be no loose ends... and you'll have the summer to do as you please."
Max observed Vivi for another long moment, allowing his gaze to fall over her fair features before removing his hand from hers and continuing. "The literal distance between you and Vickers could be good for both of you," he suggested softly. "You'll have time to gather your thoughts properly without being confronted with his face every day anymore. You'll find new adventures soon enough, new things that'll consume your mind - like your pursuit of becoming an Auror. You'll meet new people, perhaps some others to add to the 'lifelong friends' list of guys you could see yourself with, but may ultimately realize are more suitable to just be friends with." Another thing that time often revealed. "You don't have to forget about him or stop all contact with him. I know it's easier said than done, but... just... try to let time lead things one way or another. Just..." he shrugged, "take life as it comes."
...A big idiot? He chuckled at her reply and tried to lessen the smile that threatened to spread across his entire face. She would really come to his games? She wanted to support him? His grin softening, Max did twist his body to give her a big hug this time. "Thank you, Vivi. I'm... glad to know both that you support this idea and you'd come cheer me on." He pulled away, pure appreciation and admiration gleaming in his chestnut eyes. "I... think I want to do it." Em's not gonna like it, though, he wanted to add, but... he had no desire to bring his problems to the table today. "I think this card was the push I needed," he said, picking up his mother's card from the table and peering at it once more with a soft smile.
And then he started to chuckle once more. "Y'know what I just realized? We both want to be like our mothers."
Vivi had never been one of those sighsighsighsoulmaaaaaaates type girls, so what Max was saying made perfect sense to her. It didn't in light of the way he and the Hufflepuff ooey gooeyed on each other, but for Vivi and her world view, it totally worked. She nodded along as he spoke, and when he pulled her into a hug, she snuggled up next to him. "I told him I'd talk to him. I'm more worried about Louisa right now, to be honest. She has all these... half things she thinks she knows but doesn't know and Vick hasn't told her and so..."
She pressed her face to his shoulder before sitting upright again. Enough of this maudlin behavior. She wasn't a sulker, and she wasn't broken, and MERLIN if the worst thing that ever happened in her life was that some boy didn't like her back, then she was the luckiest girl ever. "I have plenty of time and plenty of space, and, Max... I have plenty of will, too. If I want to get over this, then I'm already almost over it." That was how it was with this Branxton girl. Decide it. Do it. In theory, at least.
"Noooow then. Tryouts? I'm coming to tryouts. I have a very boring summer planned until I hear back about YATI. I have an Arrows hat, I think. I mean, granted, it's a beanie from when I was five, but I'll wear the heck of that thing." She patted Max's arm again. She was okay. "Will you keep Louisa company while I talk to Vickers?"

I mean, granted, it's a beanie from when I was five, but I'll wear the heck of that thing." She patted Max's arm again. She was okay. "Will you keep Louisa company while I talk to Vickers?"
Hmm. Talking was good progress. Max looked down at the gift in front of Vivi, wondering what in the world Vickers could have given her that wouldn't lead her on or toy with her emotions. Knowing Vickers, he was probably going to end up doing one of those things unintentionally. "That's a tough situation to be in," he remarked on the matter of Louisa. Of course she was going to jump to conclusions, especially if her own boyfriend wasn't communicating any of the real issues to her. "Louisa's tough, though. I... think she'll be okay," he said softly, glancing over at the Head Girl before giving Vivi a small smile of reassurance.
When Vivi pulled away from him, he gave her a timid smile; the smile broadened at her determination. He offered a knowing nod as he agreed, "I believe you, Vivi, and IN you. I know you'll be okay. And if you're ever not or you need someone to confide in, you can always owl me, all right?"
...As much as he appreciated her support, he did NOT want her at any of his trainings or practices early on. What if he ended up not truly making the team? What if he missed too many blocks? What if the team hated him? ...All right, he knew that one wasn't too likely; he knew most of the players already. But... "Err, I guess you can. Don't yell at me from the stands if I mess something up, though." Small grin. Would she REALLY wear a kid-sized beanie for him, too? "Thanks, Vivi. Go ahead. I needed to talk to her anyway," he nodded, rising off the bench and carefully kicking his legs over the side, one after the other. She was brave to go face Vickers head-on, wasn't she? Max probably would have stayed far away in shame. "Good luck, bud. It'll be okay," he rubbed her shoulder encouragingly, offered one last smile, picked up his mother's card, then headed down the length of the table toward Louisa.
When he reached her, he found Spike sitting opposite her. Without inquiring if the seat was saved for anyone, Max smiled at them, made himself comfortable next to Spike on the bench, and let Vivi's gift rest in between them. "Hey guys. How are you doing?" He was asking both of them, but his eyes were locked with Louisa's. You okay, bud?
Damon looked at Ari, "We'll keep in touch, and if you pester Ro enough he might sneak you off to Romania to conveniently run into Sage and myself." He gave her a loving smile, half joking. ONLY half... Maybe a quarter, he'd have no problem with her coming to say hello.
He looked at Min and sighed, "Hey, don't be mad at me for this." He shook his head, his tone showing he wasn't trying to be rude... But Damon's always been back with his words, "I'm not getting involved in anyone else's opinion of Taylor, she's my family, I care about her same I do for any of the others." He gave a firm nod.
Now moving on to happier things, "Just the camping will be good enough for me. As long as I can spend it with my friends and this one." He kissed Ariana's forehead lightly, "It'll be perfect."
And there was Belle! He smiled at his friend and gave a small wave with his free hand, "Hey!" Apparently he couldn't be seen, "Do I have my invisility cloak on or something?" Bad joke, but once again can't expect much from Damon, "And I still need to know how to reach you, if you're still wanting to go camping with us."

Ugh.
So far she found NOTHING...like that. But she did appreciate it. She lifted her glass to her lips, taking a deep sip of water--since, apparently, the tea was NOWHERE to be found--and lifted her eyes at the sound of approaching human presence.
Meh.
It was Mick! Elliot's managed a small grin as he said her name...but he looked off. She tilted her head to the side curiously...wondering WHY he was acting so weird...she opened her mouth to ASK him so when he dropped THAT bomb..
*BLINK*
Elliot just stared at him for a few seconds...Uh...what? She finally got her voice..."Because I like you... and don't like...them." I mean..isn't that sort of...obvious? Because...when you like someone, you're nice to them. And quite the opposite when you don't..she was staring at him quizzically...because it seemed so obvious...
It was that simple, huh? Mick recieved a simple answer and yet it didn't make things on his end any better. He felt like he was being watched. He looked around nervously, and saw Ethan waving at him. In return, he waved back and mouthed a little 'hey'. Then he eyed the Hufflepuff table and waved at Laura and her friends, trying to appear as calm as possible. Obviously, he wasn't calm. You like me? Like me how? Why me? I mean, I know I'm likeable - YOU LIKE ME?! Isn't Laura and Sophie as likeable as me, I think so - she likes me...
The thought of it made it harder for Mick than it seemed five minutes ago, he couldn't fathom how or why everything became so complicated. Maybe this is meant to be. Who knows...Mick sure wish he did know. "Ellie, you can't like me. I can't like you," he said in a low voice that only she can hear. "We can't be friends or talk to each other a-a-anymore."
Ugh! I'm sorry.
What would his father have told him to do, instead of this? Again, who knows? Michael A. DeLarge was alone on this one, but he reminded himself that this will all pay off. It'll all pay off when he and Laura and everybody else is happy during the summer, without drama. Telling someone that may have turned out to be a decent person that they shouldn't talk anymore didn't feel like a good thing...Maybe it will later on.
"Elliot -" his voice dropped, as he couldn't think of anything else to add. It might be hard for anyone to determine what he was feeling, for his face contained no emotion. "Elliot," he repeated, "I'm really, really sorry."

Ronnie made her way over to the Ravenclaw table, where most of her closest friends were sitting. Jeez, it felt like she didn't have many Lion friends as in the other houses...

Ronnie spotted Harvey and grinned. She ran up to him and squeezed him tightly. "Hiya, Harvs!" she said. It felt like she had only run into her friend like only five times this year... which was reallyy sad. They'd HAVE to hang out more next year!

She then smiled as Harvey said such nice things about her and Ella. "Well I know two claw boys that are just as great." This summer seemed to have many exciting things to look forward to. "Well hopefully I will know soon if I'm staying in London or if I will be in the States. Then the rest of the plans can unfold."
Ronnie smiled at the sight of Minnie who was at the table as well. She gave her a hug. "Hey, Minnie!" she said. She had barley seen the girl AT ALL this year as well, which was really sad. Seemed like Ronnie hadn't seen a lot of her closest friends this year...she had been pretty busy with lots of homework and studying and all.

At any rate, even he knew it was not acceptable for a girl to cuddle another's boyfriend.. besides, didn't she say she had her own boyfriend? Ethan wasn't sure any boy would be too pleased to know that was going on. Too far? "Oh.. I don't think you did anything wrong," he said with a small smile to Minnie (though he hadn't seen the glare). At least not anything that he saw to make the other girl storm off like she did. Stroking the back of her hand with his thumb, he gave her a reassuring smile as she mentioned trust. "You have nothing to worry about." He had no intention of going anywhere.
HEYYY! There was the guy who helped Ronnie when she dropped her bag! What was his name again...? ...Oh yeah! Ethan! Ronnie gave him a little wave. "Hey, Ethan!" she said.

Taylor laughed then looked at Min, "I am happily dating someone right now anyways." Tay stood up, "I think I am going to go talk to some of my real friends." Taylor snarled and stormed off.
Ronnie then saw Taylor...who didn't look okay. She watched as Taylor suddenly stood up and began to walk off. She cocked her head. "Taylor!" she said, hopping out of her seat and following her. Once she caught up to her, she grabbed the girl lightly by her arm and turned her around. She looked at her, concern on her face. "Hey, you alright?" she asked.

With two gifts delivered-- three counting the one left at the dorms-- Vickers made his way back to the Eagle table. He slowed his pace a bit, which is ironic given how hasty and incessant he was earlier, but as he spied Max standing up he knew Vivi was free...
... here we go, no turning back now. Again.
He deliberated whether to take Max' seat but at the last minute, turned to retake his old one. Yeah the one next to Vivi, the easier to whisper things with... the easier to claw his eyes out with....
He settled into his seat quietly and paused staring at the gift box he had handed her earlier. "Wouldnt you want to open it?" he murmured "Worked all term over it..."
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes

Bad joke, but once again can't expect much from Damon, "And I still need to know how to reach you, if you're still wanting to go camping with us."[/COLOR]
As Belle was talking to Ethan, she noticed a familiar face. Belle eye's widened when she saw Damon. Belle waved enthusiastically at Damon. Belle actually chuckled at his joke. It was Damon after all. "No you are not wearing an invisibility cloak. I have been so caught up in catching up with people before i leave."
When Damon mentioned the camping trip, Belle smacked her forehead. "Oh of course! I just remembered that. I was going to ask you about that. Here i need a quill or pen to write my address on. I also have my owl charlene that i can send her to give you my letters. She is good at delivering letters." It was true, she never failed to deliver a letter once. Well maybe to her friend Dorinda but that is a different story.
The boy turned back to Minerva as she spoke to him again. Biggest threat for needing approval.. No pressure there.. heh. Oh so this was the best friend.. Giving the girl a smile as she spoke, Ethan said, "Good to finally meet you, Ariana.. I've heard a lot about you as well." And she wanted to know about him? Ethan struggled with such a vague question when asked.. where did one begin? "Um.. I'm sure you don't want my whole life story, so I'll just try to give you the condensed version.." he started with a chuckle. "Grew up in Germany, spent the last four years before coming here at Beauxbatons, only child.. um.. oh, and in my spare time I like to ski the Alps, visit the beaches of South France, and experiment with botanical cross-species.." That about summed it up.. though he sorta felt like he was on a job interview. Eh.. it kinda went with the territory though, right? Sort of a best friend's job to check out the guy she's dating. "Anything else you'd like to know?" He wasn't sure if she was looking for something more specific..
Good! good! no, she didn't want his life story and all that "No that's good. i'll question you more later." Because really she just wanted to gush over Damon right now. she misssedd him adn she had all summer to grill ethan if min was staying with her. she assumed she'd be seeing a lot of him and all. so yeah.
SPOILER!!: best friend

"It sure is going to be a blast!" really Ariana was way too excited for her girl summer with min. "we'll have to get a camera to take rowans action cause im sure Millie had forgotten to tell him!" she laughed Mil was the most forgetful person ever.

SPOILER!!: Vivi gift; explanation to come next
Her attention was intent on Max as he left, especially considering his parting remarks, and Vivi watched him wander over to sit with Louisa. The Ravenclaw's eyes rested for a moment on Louisa, and a flash of some emotion crossed her face.
And then she felt a warm weight at her side and a familiar voice right in her ear, and Vivi snapped to attention and swiveled slightly, finding a Vickers right there in her personal bubble. Not like that messed with all of her new and proud resolutions to be strong and get over it and move on and shut up about it already.
"The box is pretty. I never could do pretty boxes. It always seemed more important to worry about the gift and then the packaging was slapdash," Vivi murmured, sliding the box back in front of her. She glanced sideways at Vick again and smiled just slightly before tearing into the gift.
Oh. Pretty. Vivi lifted it carefully from the box and turned the glittering object around and around. "Who knew you were such a clever Ravenclaw, Vick? It's very pretty." She'd received lots of very pretty things lately, but they'd seemed special and personal in their own ways. No, Milton was NOT late. He was just... not on time. Duh.
But he totally had a good excuse, right? After being knocked out four times in one semester, nearly eaten by a vicious plant, being set on fire (a little), AND almost getting blown to pieces by your Charms professor... Well, it was kind of exhausting! He could only handle so many near death experiences in one term. Sheesh.
Dragging his feet, Milton yawned and shuffled into the already full and busy great hall. Scowling at the lack of BLUE in the massive room, he slid into a seat at his table and slumped his head into his hand. "Alright, bring on the food," he muttered quietly. He wasn't in the best of moods, if you could imagine. But as long as no one brought up quidditch, plants, ghosts, or fire, he wasn't going to snap.

This was the first one that made her feel like maybe the giver was under the false impression that she was the sort of girl who deserved pretty things.
The box? ”Oh, I thought things should at least look presentable, specially if they’re gifts—I mean for me personally when I give things to others…” he mumbled shrugging. It was his own standard for himself, not something he imposed on others. He watched her open it, unconsciously holding his breath. Going only from his Grandmother’s sense of beautiful things, he had no clue if other girls closer to his age would regard things the same way…
But Vivi picked up the bracelet and said it was very pretty. There was this obvious relief that crossed his face, an almost visible lifting of the weight off his shoulders ”Y-you like it?” he murmured, because he knew it would just suck if she thought it was too hideous for her to wear it, defeats the purpose of what its main function was, which wasn’t just aesthetic "I had help making this, so its not just me, if that’s what you meant by Clever Ravenclaw… ” his Uncle was crucial to this, as with the dreamcatcher necklace. Vickers may be good with spells, but he’s not that good yet
”Its not just a bracelet Viv…” he started, lowering his voice just a tad bit more , as the next words was only meant for her to hear ”… it’s a modified wand, just crafted in a way that it looks like a bracelet. Just wear it and wave your arm or hand in the necessary wand stroke and the spell will work just as it would if it was cast by a regular wand.” Sounds simple enough to remember how to work it doesn’t it? But before she thinks its too good to be true ”Its not meant to be a wand replacement though, since it can only do a few basic things—shield spells and stunning spells, and retrieving spells like Accio. I thought with your intentions as a future Auror if you find yourself in a situation where you don’t have your wand in your hand you’ll at least have this to get it back or escape.” Kinda like a backup wand hidden in plain sight.
Having presented his gift he fell silent. Was that all he has to say to her? Well according to her letter he shouldn’t even be talking to her at all given how she felt bad for him and about him. ”Th-Thanks for hearing me out Vivi…” he finally managed to mumble out. There was more he wanted to say, but he remembers that letter now burned into his memory. Maybe rushing forward earlier wasn’t really a good idea, maybe he should’ve just owled that gift so that she wouldn’t have to see him today, in respect of her wishes ... After all, what kind of friend—or ex-friend-- was he if he couldn’t be considerate with how she felt…
Struggle.
”Vivi…. about that letter.” yeah he just couldn’t help himself …

Damon cringed slightly when someone wrapped they're arms around him, which he knew couldn't be Ari, so who was... Oh, Ronnie. He smiled, "At least I didn't try to flip you this time." He chuckled, "How've you been?"
Damon nodded and pulled out one of the papers and pens he always had on him, he was a writer after all, "And I'm sure Sylvia can deliver a few letters herself."
Damon looked down at Ari, sighing. He could tell she wasn't that happy about it, he looked down at her, "Ari, we'll have a chance for it to just be the two of us." He nodded, "Everyone'll be heading back a few days earlier than ourselves." Silly girl, did she really think Damon was going to miss a second of being with her? And then having the others around, he wanted to spend some time with his friends, and that would mean a week with them and then another week for just the two of them.

Elise walked into the great hall a whole lot later than she had expected to, but the wrapper on her gift for Kurumummy had torn and she'd had to redo it completely. And realized much later that a 'Reparo' would have worked. But she supposed it was the fact that she hand-made it that counted, right?
Little bag of gifts slung across her shoulder, Elise flopped down at the table. She needed to find Max and Vivi first. They had presents waiting for them. After all, Elise couldn't have them forgetting her, could they?
Forgetting. This term would be a rather hard one to forget, especially with all the things Elise'd achieved in it. She'd done so many things this term that she took pride in. Inclusive of memorizing that runic alphabet. Life should be easier now, right?
And another to join their group? Ethan did not know this girl, even though she was dressed in his house colors. She seemed to know the rest of them though, even if she did not seem to be a friend of Harvey's.. "Hello there.." he greeted the girl with a friendly smile.

Ronnie then saw Ameliah. She smiled widely. "Heyy, Ameliah!" she said, hugging her. She was just hugging EVERYONE today! Which she did pretty much at every end of term feast. Except...she'd make sure not to hug Dylan...since he hated hugs and all. Mehhh. How could someone hate hugs?! He was mad...
Ronnie saw Ariana too. Jeez, the Ravenclaw table sure was popular today...
She smiled at the girl. "Hey, Ariana." she said with a little wave. She didn't really feel like giving the girl a hug...they weren't THAT close and Ronnie was pretty sure Ariana didn't like her anyways...
And Damon was here tooooooooooo! YAY! Ronnie hugged him as well. "Hey, Damon! I haven't seen ya in a long while." she said. 'Twas true, she rarely saw him anymore. *sigh* Maybe they'd hang out more next year.
HEYYY! There was the guy who helped Ronnie when she dropped her bag! What was his name again...? ...Oh yeah! Ethan! Ronnie gave him a little wave. "Hey, Ethan!" she said.
Adam walked over to the Claw table since he knew a few people, like a certain special someone named Ronnie. Grinning, he approached her. "Hey, beautuful," he said as he sat down next to her, giving her a quick kiss.

Chewing on her lip nervously, Ella made the short walk over to the Ravenclaw table, gift in hand. She'd been avoiding this since she arrived at the feast but was afraid if she waited any longer, she might miss her chance to speak with him. It was just...after the Championship match, Ella didn't know how to talk to Max. She just felt so incredibly guilty about being so happy about something that had made him so upset. The worst part was she didn't know how to apologize for it, or if she really needed to. Gahhhh. Was she an awful sister or what?
Wibble.
Spotting her Hogwarts big brother, Ella smoothed her robes and looked down at the gift in her hands nervously. Oh Merlin...what if this was a really stupid idea? What if he hated what she'd gotten? What if...she made him more upset than he already was? ...Meep.
The third year walked up behind the older boy and tapped him on the shoulder gently, shifting from one foot to the other while she waited for him to turn around.
"Erm...Max? I..." Oh no. Pull it together, Bishop! "Here." And she thrust the gift into his hands.
She was staring straight ahead at the table standing nearest to theirs when Spike claimed the spot opposite her. Louisa quickly averted her eyes away from whoever caught her attention and moved closer to her co-Prefect. "Oh yes, please." She sighed and smiled at him. He was the perfect company right now 1) he wasn't a boyfriend that was hiding something from her 2) he wasn't a dormmate that tried to leave on 'good terms' for inexplicable reasons and 3) he wasn't wearing a brooch which kind of started to become a bad sign to her.
"What a year, huh?" Her head leaned on her hand as her other arm hugged the plate in front of her. "Poltergeists, ghosts, man-eating plants and sleeping on floor. I sure didn't expect it to be this adventurous." She let out a weak chuckle, not really reaching her eyes.
"Indeed," Spike said, sliding onto the bench, and fiddling around with the flowerpots he'd placed on the table. "Surely you wanted it to be a memorable one though?" he said, tilting his head thoughtfully. The camping out thing had been fun - with the ceiling in the Great Hall, it was like sleeping out under the stars, without having to battle the English elements - namely rain. "...and y'know, this IS Hogwarts. I mean, adventure is just common place in these halls." Whether it be playing Hide and Seek with the statues of armor, or tickling Sir Bartholomew Henry, or...trying to find an entity with a killer plant who sucked the house ghosts into a brooch. Something like that, anyway.
"It was a good year too, right?" he asked, more gently. He couldn't really tell from her expression. "With the epic Winter Wonderland...and the Kitty Palace...and playing with firecrabs..." Maybe his present to her would her bring a little cheer? He wasn't sure that it was just the leaving bit getting his co-Prefect down. He'd worked with her long enough now too recognise that much.

He was reaching for the pot with Louisa's plant in it, when Max plonked himself down. "Hey Max," Spike said with his usual crooked grin, though noted that the older boy's gaze had settled on the Head Girl. Was Spike missing something here? Did the seventh years have some kind of plot going on? Spike pushed his glasses up his nose, the slightest wrinkle of a frown between his eyes as he glanced between them.
Hmm.
Spike ran his tongue lightly round his lips, before dropping his hand back to the table. "I, er, got you both a little something, nothing much, but..." Was now really a good time? He couldn't tell.

”Vivi…. about that letter.” yeah he just couldn’t help himself …
She hadn't meant it to sound critical, the fact that she didn't really wrap gifts herself didn't mean that other people shouldn't. It meant more that she was impressed by him. Always. "Of course I like it, you dummy," Vivi scowled playfully at him as she fitted the bracelet onto her wrist. It was rather more elaborate than anything else she owned, but it would work. One of those statement pieces that people just started to believe you never took off.
And she'd never take it off. Obviously.
"You made me a wand that looks like a bracelet, and not just any bracelet, but a very pretty one?" The chin wibble might have returned. Vivi examined it closely, willing herself not to whip it off and try to see what charms were on it to make it work so. That was one of those surefire ways to make a magical object go berserk or stop being magical. Instead, she rolled it over so that the intricate part lay against the hollow of her wrist, pointed the heart of her palm at him and said, "Peu, peu, peu. Spiderman!" with a small half smile.
No, but seriously... "Thank you for the gift. It's perfect. It's... well, who knows? You might save my life, right?" That was the idea with a gift like this... you didn't need it and then one day you did. She waited for him to leave, although she didn't qualify what had just occurred as 'hearing him out' at all. He hadn't said anything. Was there really even anything to say? She'd essentially cut all ties with him without even asking what he wanted. It was bossy and unfair of her, but she'd done it.
She started to add something sappy like, "I'll think of you every time I wear it," but was thankfully stopped right at, "I'll..." when he finally spoke up again. It was her first instinct to act like she didn't know what letter he meant, especially if it meant they could move on and pretend she'd never been so stupid. But that sort of denied Vick the ability to respond to it, to respond to her. Vivi just tilted her head and shrugged.
See Louisa was bad at this, Lily was still stifling her sobs in and her voice quivered and eyes still were so moist and cute and this girl is supposed to be happy and high on candy. Like that gummy worms hufflepuff girl, or Demon Alice. So Louisa did the only thing she knew, she just kept her arm around Lily's shoulders and tried to lighten the atmosphere some more. "Nah, no universities yet. But guess what? I'm going to look for a job, probably in Diagon Alley so we don't even have to wait until your school weekend!"
Yeah? That was fun and worth a happy face! Yes? No? Okay, maybe not so much. "I sure will try my best, dear." Although there was a tiiiiiiny problem. "However, you need to know that I'll probably be moving out to my own place soon and will try to apply to a good job and then start looking at college applications so.." Wow that sounded so busy. She didn't even think about the energy and time she was going to spend on this independence. Huh.
"Anyways, tell me. How did you like this year? Pretty cool huh?" She forced a smile at the younger redhead and anticipated her answer.

Hmm.
Spike ran his tongue lightly round his lips, before dropping his hand back to the table. "I, er, got you both a little something, nothing much, but..." Was now really a good time? He couldn't tell.
Awkward.
Memorable. Louisa scoff!chuckled at this, "Oh yeah, very memorable. I was more worried I wouldn't get time to sleep in my dorm one last time... which doesn't really matter anymore." She added, a bit bitterly and returned to her spoon playing. Was it so much to ask to have one last perfect night in the dorms? Darn Hogwarts and its complicated students. Hmph.
Oh. Right. Spike still had his happy adventurous thoughts about Hogwarts, well LUCKY KID. Because Louisa was just cranky and got crankier when she saw Vickers walk from the Gryffindor table toward... Vivi. Interesting. She stared at them, her brow furrowing just a bit. "Yeah. It is a very eventful year on all levels I must say." Some of Spike's words were zoned out for a second and by the time she focused back on him he was talking about something to give her.
"Aw Spike you didn't have to!" Louisa's face expressions changed by the warmth feeling from this kind gesture. She let go of the spoon and was about to extend her arm to pat her co-prefect's arm. But Max joined them then and sat down and was doing this annoying thing when he would look into her face and show he knew she was upset and was feeling sorry for her and her eye twitched and... sigh. It was very wrong to be mean to the boy when he was nothing but supportive toward Louisa since the start of this term but she couldn't help but wear that poker face when she answered him. "Tired. And sleepy. I want to go to bed and get this over with." Shrug.
.... "How are you ? We did it, huh?" Because she felt guilty. She wanted to smile at him but her mouth only managed a twitch.
Louisa glanced at the other two Ravenclaws again sitting away from them and wondered if it was very suspicious that they were separated like this. Spike was smart enough to see something was fishy around here and Max apparently already knew something. Probably more than Louisa already knows because technically she knows nothing. Inclining her head at the far away Ravenclaws she asked softly, "Does it look like a friendly talk to you guys?" She was paranoid, trying to interpret body language and not jump to conclusions. No one was talking to her about it and she knew Karma was out to get her because of a certain head boy and red head so yeah, she did have reasons to be worried.
Vivi and Vickers looked very... good shootshootshoot! sitting and talking though. Alone. Peaceful. Though awkward.
But it wasn't really a big deal. It was just that Louisa was told Vivi wanted to stop talking to them but.... maybe they were sorting things out. It didn't always have to involve her. Even if Vivi made her feel that it did involve her. Ugghhhh so frustrating just thinking about this!
The soon-to-be former Head Girl sighed and looked back at Spike, forcing her attention back on him. "It's the perfect time actually. I'm sure it's something impressive. What do you got?" She folded her hands together and feigned a big grin. Yep, distraction please!

Ahhh, foood <3 That was the only reason that Ronnie loved coming to the feasts, really... heh heh.

Seemed like Ronnie hadn't seen a lot of her closest friends this year...she had been pretty busy with lots of homework and studying and all.
Harvey was suddenly shocked by the massive hug he got and wondered who it was at first but once he heard her say hello he knew instantly who it was, who else but the one who was a master of tackling Harvey after hours of practice on her bear Mikey. "Heyya Rons.. how you been?" he asked her since it had been some time before they had hung out. Maybe they could hang out more next year.

Because really she just wanted to gush over Damon right now. she misssedd him adn she had all summer to grill ethan if min was staying with her. she assumed she'd be seeing a lot of him and all. so yeah.
"It sure is going to be a blast!" really Ariana was way too excited for her girl summer with min. "we'll have to get a camera to take rowans action cause im sure Millie had forgotten to tell him!" she laughed Mil was the most forgetful person ever.
"yeah im just glad to get away from here and all it's danger really." and she knew Min was as well. so a summer cooped up in her room with the o ccasional vissits from their boyfriends was soo needed right now! "Hopefully i'll be spending the summer win min." she smilled to her friend.
"you better keep in touch with me. i dont know what i'm going to do a whole month with out seeing you." she frowned. she was NOT looking forward to that.. ethan coming over and ariana being a 3rd wheel and ugh. not fun. she leannned on him putting her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around him as he kissed her nose adn talked about camping and

did he just say that MORE people we're coming on their camping trip................. she thought it was just them.. now it wwas them, min, ethan & BELLE... Ariana didn't even LIKE belle.. ever since she was rude to her the day the common rooms locked. uggh stupid mean prefect.
But she smiled and acted as if it we're just fine. "i can't wait." though really she COULD cause ugh it was going to be dreadful.. no cuddles and secrets and Secret Cuddles! all because there would be other's MEHHHH
"Oh Hai ronnie!" she beamed at the girl. they didn't talk too much this term but the girl was really helpful to her on her HORRID birthday and she owed her one for that
Harvey smiled at Ariana and nodded "Yeah I can see why you say that, it has been its usual dangerous place. But that is Hogwarts.. would be pretty boring without a bit of danger.. but yeah I agree we do need a break from it now." yeah and be able to hang out without having to worry about any sort of danger now. Be able to have alot of fun too.. from morning... until night.. no darn curfews and all that.

Ameliah smirked a little. Good thing Harvey didn't try for any conversation.... She raised an eyebrow at Minnie. "Wh--? Oh, yeah, even for a Claw I'm happy to go home. I've been missing Logan like crazy, naturally." Right now, she just wanted to be ON. THAT. TRAIN. She rolled her eyes as Minnie asked about the letter. "Ugh, yeah. He didn't have any idea if she had anything to do with it or not."
"So, this is the famous Ethan," Am mused as she looked him up and down to get an impression. He seemed all right... for now. "Yup, I'm Ameliah!" She gave him a look as if to say ...and I'll be making sure you're treating Minnie right, or else.
Just then Ronnie came up and hugged her. "Ronnieeeeeee!!!" She immediately grinned. "How have you been!?" Because Adam said some very interesting things about what he thought of Ronnie. And she kind of saw them kiss at the Broomsticks. The look on Am's face clearly showed her eagerness to understand.
He was kinda glad she didnt start anything right now, not in front of this many people. He listened as she talked with Minnie... ahh yes,... Logan. Of course she would be missing Logan, well it would be the same with him and Ella.. he would miss her too right? Right....

"I've been pretty good." Ronnie said with a small nod. "It's so weird to think that I only have two years of Hogwarts left....it's all going by so quickly." she said, shaking her head. It was true, this year had pretty much been a blur for her.
"What about you? How have you been? Did you enjoy the term?" she asked, smiling at her friend.
Ronnie laughed at what he said. She then shrugged. "Eh, I've been okay I guess." she said. "What about you?
Damon nodded, "I've been great," He tightened his grip around Ariana's waist, "Almost seventeen." Yes, those were his two pluses, having Ariana again and legally being allowed to use magic outside of school.

He smiled as she said that she had been pretty good, which was good cause he didnt want anyone to be anything else but pretty good. He then listened to her and nodded "Yeah I know.. I cant believe I have been here for four years already and I will now be going into my fifth year. It IS going by quickly!" he nodded agreeing with her "You know when I came as a firstie here.. OWLs year seemed so far away and now its not that far away anymore!" he said realising that he was growing up faster than he had planned
He looked at her as she asked him the same question back "I have been good.. been doing the usual classes and homework and stuff" as well as hanging out with Ella every opportunity he got of course! He nodded "Yeah I did enjoy the term" well any term spent hanging out with your girlfriend is going to be very enjoyable "How about you? Did you enjoy the term too?" he asked her back.. cause everyone was supposed to enjoy the term despite the workload.
