Party? Sweet! Literally!

The first year arrived quickly to this shindig. Why? He was HUNGRY after all that awesome goal saving! And that fruit smoothie from Oakey had been a long time ago. Pao grabbed a cupcake that had a snitch on it. He smiled. It reminded him of the time he baked with Ella at the Christmas thing with the house elves this year.

YUM.

Oakey came into the tent quickly right behind Pao, but didn't spend anytime getting cupcakes or getting food. He'd let his stomach growl for now.
Instead he found the furthest seat away from everything. He made quite a fool of himself after confessing his love to Sophie on the Pitch after the match, when he could have done it privately here at the after party, but nobody told him about this!

At least they won the cup.... Yay, Woo!

After Bliss had recovered from her slightly dramatic scene on the pitch after being knocked into the stands, she headed for the party tent. The tent that held a party, celebrating the fact that they'd won. She entered the tent and beamed at the few people that were already in there. Pao and Oakey, her fellow team mates. As Bliss looked around, random thoughts flew through her head. Like that fact that they'd won. She still couldn't believe that it'd really happened.

MEGA BEAM.

Ella made her way to the party tent, stopping at the entrance and peeking inside. She smiled to herself as she saw some teammates…and lots of delicious snacks…and the banner. THAT banner was for them. It showed all their hard work and it made Ella feel so incredibly proud to be a Hufflepuff. BEAM.

Walking in, she headed towards the food as that’s what she wanted right now. Lots and lots of food. “Hi!” She said excitedly to Pao before grabbing a cupcake. Oh! Snitch cupcakes. Grin. Hair Whipper would love these, yeah?

Oh and Bliss was here and all better! BEAM! "Hey Blisss!" Bounce!

Tilting her head to the side, she spotted Oakey and smiled a little. Picking up another cupcake, she turned to Pao and gestured in Oakey’s direction. ”Be right back…I think someone needs a cupcake.”

”Here.” She said, handing her housemate the cupcake and smiling at him. ”What you did was brave, y’know.”

As much as he was BITTER about being here, Theo decided to make an appearance cos he liked to make an appearance at most events. In case something COOL happened, ya know? Besides, he knew Ella would be there, so that was another good reason to show up.

When he finally did, wearing one of his best jumpers, he stopped at the entrance of the tent and stared wide-eyed at the few faces already there.

Because it was FILLED WITH HUFFLEPUFFS.

NOT COOL, NOT COOL.

And this was weird. He was just thinking about Ella and POOF she was THERE! Did he like... have telepathic summoning powers or something?!?! He tried thinking about a giant chocolate bar. FROWN. Apparently NOT.

"Oh. Hi," he answered her, frowning. Yes, he was still upset that there was no giant chocolate bar!! "Sorry, I mean... Hi! I was just.. thinking about something else for a second." He took a massive bite of cupcake to cover himself. "Haf a 'upake. They'w delifuss!"

Fail.

Harvey was still smiling for the puffs when he decided that he would at least come to the party and hang out with Ella for a little while before he left her to have fun with her puff friends, not that he didnt want to stay. Its just that.. she would probably want to hang out with them tonight rather than him. So he turned up in his best shirt, his Ravenclaw tie that Ella loved last time he wore it and his jeans with the shoes that he wore at the match. He walked upto the tent and he looked inside to see quite a few puffs inside.. well that was too be expected seeing as it was a party for them. He remembered when they had their party last term like this.. it was so much fu.. oh Theodore was there too! Might as well say Hi. He walked upto Theodore who didnt seem to be too happy to be there and decided to cheer the boy up.. "Hey Theodore.. good to see you here, I guess you are here to support your puff friends right? Good!" he smiled at Theodore and he looked around before looking back at Theodore "Hey! er.. that was some really good cheering that you did back there at the match, Ella probably heard you all the way from where she was. Did you see her smile at the end when she had landed.. I think she was smiling cause she heard you cheer her name. Well done Theodore!" he said giving the boy a big smile, cause he really did do some good cheering even if was for Ella but hey thats what you did for friends.. didnt he cheer for Minnie? exactly! He looked inside and saw Ella greeting her puff friends as well as having some excited chatter with some of them and basically enjoying herself.. he was happy to see this cause this was basically what he wanted to see her having alot of fun.. without him of course. But he would be making an appearance soon.. after she'd had some time with her friends.. and then the boyfriend can step in.

well at least one good thing came out of the terrible championships she just had to sit through. A party. Something to take her mind off the fact that she'd painted her face blue for nothing...well not nothing really since it was for Vivi but she would've preferred if the Claws won.

She walked into the tent and stopped for a moment in awe at all the decorations that really made the place look terrific...and so shiny...could she touch half this stuff?...She'd try it later...maybe...most likely...

She looked around, realizing that a few people had already arrived. "Hi everybody!" BEAM. And of course there were waves which Ella, Harvey, Bliss, Oakey (who seemed to be sulking) and Pao got...but not Theo. Yeah. She'd given up on trying to be nice to what might have been the most difficult boy that ever walked the planet.

Lex grabbed a cupcake and began nibbling around the snitch part. "That was a great game guys." Even if she was gonna need a bit more time to convince herself of this she figured she get it out there.

Ugh.... Ella was talking to that first year. The one that he'd seen her with the other day, too. Pfft - she'd never date a FIRST YEAR, right?

Just as he was about to make a move and scare the kid away, a wild Harvey appeared, which took him completely by surprise. "Errr..... hello." Like, did he want something? "Support my puff friends? No, I came for the cupcakes." DUH. He shrugged his shoulders at the comment on his cheering, "I'm her biggest fan." Take that, silly Ravenclaw. But was he really saying 'well done' because Ella smiled at him?

He obviously didn't have a clue about how good of friends they were.

That did make him grin a bit.

Oakey leaned over the table and began tracing his index finger around some creases on the table cloth. Then before he could continue to sulk in peace Ella popped over and offered him a cupcake. "I only eat baked goods if I know they're made by Kurumi." Oakey lied as his stomach growled rather loudly afterwards, and then she said it. "I was being brave. We won and I was in the moment, It was stupid and I probably embarrassed Sophie more than myself. She deserves better than me." Did he even HAVE to bring up that he punched her in the face before the term started. That's not something you do! You don't punch someone and then declare your love for them half a year later, that's just wrong!

Harvey noticed a girl walk in that waved at him and he waved back "Hey Alexa,, good to see you here" he should have known that Alexa would be here. Anywhere there was supposed to be fun you could find Alexa, he saw her go for a cupcake.. oh yeah and sweet food was another Alexa Magnet. He then turned back to Theodore as he said hello to him "Cupcakes? well they are pretty darn good let me tell you" he nodded and saw as Theodore.. shrugged his shoulders.. oh no.. if you were friends with Ella.. you were a big fan of those sweet goodies.. no shrugging Theodore we onto you now. What he said next made Harvey smile "Well thats good! Merlin knows Ella needs a few more fans to make her believe she is a great quidditch player.. and fans like you.. I think could manage that." he chuckled.. mm if he couldnt.. then maybe Theodore could.. interesting. Anyways he saw the little grin that appeared on the boys face, he was glad to see that he and Theodore seemed to be getting along a bit.. well that was nice.. he did want to get to know her friends afterall.. so why not at a party.. parties were good.

And now Oakey was talking to Ella. Yes, Theo was keeping tabs on whichever boy spoke to her, he was always watching. In the most non-creepy way ever.

Slowly drifting his gaze back to Harvey, Theo tried a fake smile. He was good at them. "Why don't you go and grab us some, then?" He ordered.... politely.

"Well, she doesn't NEED fans. She's amazing with or without them." And did he care that he was speaking dangerously in front of Ella's boyfriend? NO. He quite wanted him to know that he was 100% even more in love with Ella than Harvey was. But WHY was he being so nice to him?

No matter how rude he was to Ravenclaws, he just couldn't shake 'em.

Minerva walked into the tent slowly. Her head was pounding, but she wasn't going to let that stop her from having fun. They had won the cup and she had gotten to play. She was still in a bit of shock for that. Smiling at everyone there she walked over to the food, should she eat something. Deciding against the food she made her way and found a place to sit down. The music was super loud, or was it because her head just hurt that much.

She looked around not many were there yet, but she hoped more would show, especially Ethan. "Way to go everyone!" She couldn't remember if she said that to her team yet or not. She was so dizzy on the pitch that she didn't think she told them anything.

Though she was still bitter that the Quidsitch Cup Party wasn't for the Lions inatead of the Badgers, Alice atill decided to come. Because the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team was made up of half of her best friends. And what good were friends if they didn't want what was best for you?

So it was established that Alice wasn't a good friend, then?

When she arrived, she was expecting more people present. But barely anyone was there yet. GOOD. She didn't want Ella and Alec and Bliss ans Nessie all surrounded before she could congratulate them. Ella ans Bliss were the first ones she spotted. "ELLS. BLISSY. You guys were AMAZING." She wondered if the could hear her boisterous cheering from the pitch. Alice knew, though, that there was know way they could have noticed her blinding, yellow pom-poms furiously shaking in the air. Ah, well. "Congrats on the Cup!"

Yeah. Go them. Now.. were those cupcakes she saw?

He looked at Theodore who had smiled.. well it was good to see that he wasnt getting the usual cold stares or something, he wanted him to.. ok.. yeah he could do that.. he nodded "Umm yeah I could go get us some" he smiled cause he was a nice guy like that, man he did have trouble saying no didnt he.. man Ella was supposed to teach him to say no.. she never did.. mm must start that soon. He nodded as Theodore talked.. and could see why he thought that "Yeah.. I see what you mean.. she is amazing. I mean thats why everyone loves her so much.. I always tell her that she is amazing and awesome as she is.. but.. she doesnt seem to believe what I say." he said to Theodore, but he did agree with the boy. She was popular and amazing as she was, look at her now.. talking to all of them there.. they ALL knew her.. that showed how many people knew and loved her. "Well I had better go get some cupcakes for us" he said as he walked inside giving a few of the puffs a smile to kind of .. congratulate all of them. He walked over and grabbed 4 cupcakes.. 2 for each of them and walked back over to Theodore "Here you go.. two for you, two for me" he said handing Theodore two of the four cupcakes that he had brought for them.

He smiled as he saw Minnie walk in.. both the puff girls were up and about.. see he knew they were strong! It was good to see her here.. he wondered if Ethan would show up, he was quite good at cheering on Minnie too.. strange that he was actually looking for the boy when not long ago he was actually not to happy about him being with Minnie.. but now he saw that he was one of the good ones.. so he was cool with it "Hey Mins.. good to see you up and walking around, feeling good?" he asked her cause it would be rude not to.. she being his best friend and all.

Lex beamed at him when he said it was good seeing her there. Honestly she wasn't even going to show up; not with the way she was feeling but the idea of sugar was enough to pull her in. Every party had sugar, even in the simplest form and she wouldn't let that opportunity pass.

She took another bite of her cupcake. "So why you talking to Theo?" She couldn't imagine he was having much fun doing it. The boy was a nut; a mean one at that! Maybe he was doing it for the sake of small talk. She heard people did that all the time. Maybe she shouldn't even try understanding it. They were both boys making them both weird. When she thought about it that might have explained why they were talking to each other.



Then Minnie got there. She was warned not to talk to her too much but well...Vivi wasn't exactly there so she guessed it would be okay...right?

"Hai Minnie!!" And though she wasn't paying attention to any of the puffers during the game..."You played great out there today!!" It's just too bad that they actually won afterwards. SIGH. There was always next term she supposed.

Emmanuelle hadn't been able to make it to the Championship Quidditch game due to studying for her NEWTS. Yep, she had missed Quidditch to study. Call the Aurors. But seriously, those test could determine what she would be doing for rest of her life. Do poorly, and she'd have to go work in a muggle shop (not that she was opposed to muggles, just that they were hardly ever polite to the person helping them). Do well and, as cliché as it sounded, the world was her oyster.

Anyway, she had promised herself that if she focused on her studying, then she would give herself a break in the form of coming to this party. So here she was. Only, it didn't really seem like much of a party. Besides herself, there were only nine others, all younger years and exactly one other Slytherin. Weird. She snuck her way to the snack table and nabbed herself a snitch cupcake. Then she moved over to the wall to wait for some older students to show up.

Watching Minerva walk into the tent, Ethan followed her from the pitch. He was still worried about her well-being after seeing how hard she hit the side of the stands.. no matter how strong she or Harvey might have said she was.

Spotting her as she sat down, Ethan made a bee-line towards her, trying to hide the concern on his face with a congratulatory smile. He was truly glad her team had won.. even if that meant his own had lost. She played really well and was happy for her, though not thrilled about the injuries.

"Quite a game, huh?" he said, still smiling somewhat as he took a seat near her. The boy looked at Minnie for a moment, not helping the concern that was probably visible now that his smile was faltering. "Just tell me you're okay.."

Theodore shrugged, "Maybe you don't tell her often enough." Cos HE told her all the time how awesome she was at Quidditch. AND he came to support HER every match, even though going to the pitch after their team had lost was absolutely horrible for him. That was real effort in the relationship, you know.

He got the cupcakes. afghjpsdfskfrgerdf. HE GOT THE CUPCAKES.

"Thanks." Theo snatched them from Harvey as delicately as he could. Cos he didn't wanna be TOO rude, but he didn't wanna be TOO nice either. It was a dilemma he couldn't quite get his head around. Just as he was about to bite the icing off one of the cakes, he stopped, and placed them on a nearby table.

"You know what, I don't want them anymore." This was all just a test to see how long it took for Harvey to crack.

Minerva looked up and smiled, "Hey Harvs" She looked around a second, Ella was here right.. Was he just talking with Theo.. That was a little interesting, she didn't know Harvey knew Theo. Shrugging it off she tried to concentrate on what he was saying and not feeling her head hurting. "Well nothing can keep me down. I feel alright, just a pretty nasty headache is all." Yes she would handle the headache, she would have to.

"Did you sit with Ethan in the stands? I hope I didn't worry him to much." She bit her lip feeling bad if she worried him. "Did you have fun at least? I can't believe how great that game was." She couldn't believe she was able to play in it. This day was fantastic.. well most of it at least!



Minerva heard someone else speak to her and she looked around smiling. "Hey Alexa" she got up and gave her little friend a hug. "Thanks, I was so nervous being that I haven't played all term, but it was fun. Well other then hitting the stands at the end." She tried to laugh, but stopped from the pain.

"So your first year is coming to an end.. It was a very eventful one, wasn't it." Just the two of them had a few adventures together. Minerva's mind went to Pepper for a second. Still no sign of the dog, and since no one saw the plant take the dog, she just couldn't let her think that Pepper had the same end as Millie.




Minerva had gotten lost in her thoughts again when she heard another voice. Looking up she smiled weakly at Ethan. "It was a great game. Everyone played so well." She moved over hoping he would sit down. She didn't want him to worry, so she tried to hide the pain she was in from her head. "I felt a bit rusty, but I still had fun." Well fun until that Braxnton and her minion decided to try and end Min's flying early.

She noticed his face full of worry, oh that's not what she wanted to see. "Ethan, I'll be fine. I'm here, I'm moving around.. I'll be good, promise." Decided to tell him a little secret she leaned in, "You know I had a blast, but I kind of missed having the mic.. I don't know what I'll do next term. I loved playing today and it made me think about being on the team again, but announcing is so fun. I just don't know." She looked around the tent, "Are you hungry? Do you want to get a cupcake or something?"

He looked at Alexa.. he then looked at Theodore and then back at Alexa.. "Cause he is Ella's friend.. and.. he seems like a nice guy.. so why not talk to him. I mean it cant be too much fun coming to a party and just standing there all on your own.. and besides.. I would like to get to know Ella's friends." and he was gonna try his hardest to get on well with them "Why? You got a problem with me talking to Theodore?" he asked her, he may be like her brother.. but that didnt mean that he was gonna listen to her about who to talk to and who not to talk to. He raised his eyebrows as he wondered what she meant by her question.



He blinked a couple of times at Theodore "Oh? I thought I told her enough, mm couldnt hurt to tell her some more how amazing she is. Thanks Theodore.. brilliant idea!" he grinned at the boy for giving him such an idea! He would just have to tell Ella everyday how amazing she was.. and not just at quidditch but as his girl as well! He smiled as Theodore took the cupcakes from him "No worries" he said taking a bit out of one of his cupcakes, he watched as Theodore was about to eat one when he suddenly stopped and put them on a table nearby. Harvey just looked at Theodore.. was he feeling ok? He had just asked for the cupcakes and now he didnt want them anymore? Hmm poor boy must be sick! yes thats the only explanation! He swallowed his bite of the cupckae and smiled "They are good.. you know? You sure you dont want them? " he asked him before he looked over at Ella "Maybe you could give them to Ella.. I am sure she would love to have them" he smiled as he looked back at Theodore, cause if he wasnt hungry he knew that Ella would be.. she was always hungry for the sweet goodies and would love them!



He saw her look around after she had said Hi to him "Ethan will be here soon!" he chuckled cause that had to be the only reason she was looking around really. He then looked back at Mins, he nodded "Yeah I can see that.. Whomping Trees.. bludgers.. nothing can beat Minerva Wheatborn" he chuckled some more as he remembered all the times that she had played with that tree and gotten hurt with bludgers.. and yet she was still up and about "Aww.. well have as much fun as you can.. even if its quiet" he knew that the moment that Ethan turned up she would be having lots of fun for sure!

He smiled and nodded "Yes I did sit with him, well he WAS worried.. you did take quite a beating. He will be happy to see you here, instead of inside nursing bad injuries" he saw her bite her lip.. was that where Ella got her lip biting from? Picking it up from Minnie? Anyways he smiled "Yeah we had loads of fun.. if you dont count our girls getting hit by bludgers.. then yeah!! we had a blast!" he was speaking for Ethan cause he was sure that Ethan would agree with him at least about the fun cause it was fun! Even though they were destined to win the cup second year in a row and it was stolen from them, but it was the puffs.. where their girls belonged.. so he had no complaints at least.. "I am just glad you girls are ok after everything today" he smiled.. he would give her a hug.. but he didnt know how sore she was so best not to hug her.

It was that time of year again, and the Quidditch Cup match was always a highlight event... even if her Lion cubs weren't playing in it. Still pumped from the game, Seren meandered down to the familiar party tent. The Badgers had done extremely well to secure the Cup and she wanted to congratulate them on an outstanding season...

... as well as schmooze with everyone else and enjoy the fact that term was coming to a close. No more assessments, no more marking, just... the sadness of losing familiar faces and the joy of receiving new ones in the year to come.

Bracing herself for chaos and adrenalin, Seren entered the tent and scanned the room for mischief. Everything appeared to be in order.
"Congratulations Badgers!" she mused to those that were present. "Very well played, and well deserved."

Oh merlin now she was hugging her. No Lex, don't fall for it. This was exactly the kind of thing Vivi was talking about. She would NOT fall for the 'nice' act that her Hogwarts Mama told her all about. Nope. She was smarter than that. Nice try though. So yes, she did hug her back but it meant in NO WAY that she was falling for anything. Just making that clear. Yes. "Oh yeah, you hit the stands too...do you guys like doing that?" She tilted her head curiously as she stared up at the girl. Everyone seemed to crash into the stands. You could swear that was any other part of the game!

She thought about the question for a minute before finally nodding her response. "Yeah...it was...I'm really gonna miss this place over the summer but I think I'm ready to go home...I miss my Daddy...and J--" But she stopped herself. There was no way she was gonna admit that she missed him too. Nope. She'd never live it down if he found out--and she'd never get any peace either so best to keep it completely to herself.



That was it? That was his big reason? She made a face at the clearly clueless boy who couldn't even realize that Theo was giving him the run around. "Just because he's Ella's friend, doesn't make him a good person you know." And that was a fact!

She shrugged at his next question. "No. No problem. If you wanna talk to terrible people then be my guest. He's ruuuude and mean." Also a fact. There were a few other words she could use to describe him but of course this was a festive occasion and she was trying to be nice about everything. Hopefully Harvey would see for himself because she didn't feel like spelling it out for him. Nah. That would take much too much out of her. She'd much rather continue munching on her cupcake.



Oh look! Her Head of House!

The happy moment died when she heard the woman congratulating the Puffers. Wasn't anyone else rooting for Ravenclaw? Or was it simply that the woman had good sportsmanship; something the 11 year old most certainly did NOT posses. Losing was terrible even when it wasn't her own team!

Happy Lex, be happy, it's a party.

"Hello Professor!" BEAM. "I take it you were rooting for the badgers then huh?" Keep the smile. She reached over and grabbed another cupcake. "Would you like one?"

Ella raised an eyebrow at Pao as he greeted her rather unenthusiastically. Dude knew they had won the Quidditch Cup, yeah? She smiled when he then apologized, raising an eyebrow at him. “No problem! What were you thinking about, anyway?” Not that she was being nosy or anything... She giggled when he asked her to try a cupcake, thinking he was quite adorably, even when talking with a mouth full of food. “Good idea, Pao. I think I will”

Well well well…wasn’t Oakey being a bit of a downer? Ella frowned at him, holding out the cupcake again. “Kurumi is like the best baker ever but the house elves make delicious cupcakes as well!” And he really was in need of some sugar STAT. Oh and his attitude about his declaration of love? It was SO not flying with Ella. “Oakey, don’t be silly.” She said seriously. “What you did was great and I bet you Sophie was all flaily and excited just like I was. Don’t be daft.” Cause he was, y’know. “You’re great and so is Sophie. That’s just how it is...and it's pretty clear she likes you too so...don't worry so much.”

Ohhh! And Alexa was here and saying hello to everyone. Ella smiled at the younger girl, waving. “Hi there!” BEAM. “Thanks so much! Both teams played really well.”

And then Ella spotted something that confused her a bit but also made her smile. It was Theoman and Harvey hanging out by the entrance… together. The third year was a bit puzzled because Theo had been a bit short with Harvey on their group date but maybe he was trying to make up for that now? BEAM. It was quite nice that they were hanging out! Ella GRINNED at them and waved excitedly, beckoning them over.

AND MINNIE! She was alive! BOUNCE. BOUNCE. BOUNCE. “Hi Mins! I’m really glad you’re okay!” Cause she was looking kind of bad there for a few minutes on the pitch! But she was here now and ready to party, it seemed! Grin!

“HULK!” BEAM. Ella had missed her friend and was SO happy to see her! “Thanks! It was a really great match!” And everyone had worked together for the win which was nice.

Oh and Professor Bentley was here too? BEAM. Ella quite liked her. She grinned at the woman as she congratulated them on the win. “Thank you, Professor!”
