| | |  Professor Josephina Hadley's Suite
This particular room has served as an office to a number of different professors over the years. Some of which include revered professors such as Septima Vector, Bree Geltz, Kali O'hara, Lesley Modulo Fox, Matthias Pythagoras Wenlock, Onyx Xavier Frost, and of course, Macadrian Ashling Shackleton-Clark. With each new Professor that has made this office homey, Josephina is sure they each brought their own particular flair to its decorations to accommodate their tastes. Just as Josephina did when she first entered upon this room just several years ago now.
The walls have been painted a light blue-gray color and there are a handful of paintings hung around the room, giving off a rather comfortable aura. One of the paintings is a rendition repainted by Josephina, herself, of a canal near her hometown in Perugia, Italy. There is a framed miniature Italian flag, as well as a third painting of of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
As with typical office decorum, there is a large, polished wooden desk, that once belonged to each of her predecessors. There are a few neat stacks of papers and worksheets on the desk. There are also a few framed photographs sitting on her desk; one of Josephina posed with her two sisters, one of her parents, Nicole and Marcus, sitting on their couch. There's also a photograph of a baby girl, about toddler-aged, who will crawl around in the photo and maybe even disappear completely if you watch long enough, but have no fear, she'll be back! And an even more recent photograph, which you might recognize as your Herbology Professor with your Arithmancy one, taken on their recent trip to Italy. Behind the large wooden desk sits a black executive style chair. Directly on the other side of the desk - where visitors may sit - are two smaller black chairs, but still just as comfortable.
There's a bookcase on the left side, which contains various titles that Josephina collected over the years. Some these include, but are not limited to, The Complete Book of Numerology, New Theory of Numerology, Numerology and Gramatica, A Look Into The Future, and Olde and Forgotten Bewitchments and Charmes. There are also muggle classic books by Charles Dickens and Jane Austen, for which are a few of Fina's guilty pleasures.
Though the door is nearly always open, proper etiquette dictates knocking and addressing your identity before entering. Especially as Professor Hadley likely has her back to the door where she is playing with her puppy named Baisley or her kitten received from recent graduate, Lorelai Bristol, in which she conveniently named Bristol. Just entering without permission is rude and punishable with either point deduction and/or detention for being disrespectful. OOC: No, there is no waiting area, but please do not clog up this thread with useless chatter of 'waiting to enter'. Have your character knock and then wait for Professor Hadley to respond to either enter or to come back later.
There are plenty of places around the school that allow for chat with your friends; Professor Hadley's office is NOT the place for it and doing as such will be cause for appropriate discipline actions.

She wondered if that made sense at all and then why she even was bringing it up. She had been coming to Professor Hadley since first term, so she felt more comfortable with her then any of the others. Looking at her head of house again she wasn't sure if she should ask about the common rooms or even that plant, but decided not to for now. "I had seen something on the badger board I wanted to speak with you about." She hesitated trying to figure out the exact words she wanted to use. "It was about the summer internship. The wording was what I was wondering. It says fifth years, is that this years fifth years or next terms fifth years? I am interested in maybe applying for this, but wasn't sure if I could or not." Yes it would be great if she could do this internship and actually get the position. It could keep her in London for the summer instead of going clear to American with her grandparents again.

Oakey had wanted to ask Professor Hadley this for some time now, after seeing the Internship notice up on the bulletin board. He just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get started on his career of choice sooner. Plus, it'd get him out of the house and away from Aegis over the summer. Stupid kid brat was destroying everything he owned.
Oh well he just needed to ask Professor Hadley if she would write up a recommendation letter for him, he was really interested in an Internship at Gringotts especially since he's learned so much about being a Curse Breaker from Professor Hadley herself.
He walked through the entrance that was left ever so conveniently opened and stood next to Minerva. Oblivious to the fact that she was here for the same reason. "Hello Professor..."
He forgot something. Something really important, he was supposed to do something before entering. Nothing extreme liking hosing himself off before visiting Professor Bellaire, but still it was necessary. "S-sorry. excuse me!" He practically yelled. he walked backwards out the door almost tripping on himself once, and grabbed the handle of it shutting it tight behind him before knocking on it twice.

Her face lit up subtly when she saw it was one of her fourth years. She shook her head at Minerva's introduction. "You should know by now that I always make time for my Hufflepuffs. Interruption or not." Seriously.
She nodded though in concurrence at the girl's next statement. "Too fast, I daresay. Sometimes I question on whether someone is messing with time." Wouldn't be the first - or last - time that happened. Listening to Minerva speak again though, she nodded and waited. Yes; the summer internship, she remembered that notice. "I think it said something about rising fifth years, if I remember correctly from the memo I received..." Fina said, thoughtfully, flipping through her notes. "Which means, yes. I do believe you ...." she trailed off though, as someone, so rudely barged in through the open door. Quote:

And she eyed him ruefully as he apologized and walked backwards from the room, closing the door and then knocking.
She blinked, and stared for a moment at the departed figure still etched in her mind, before looking back to Minerva.
"Reckon we should let him in?" she said to Minerva, amusement crossing her features. He was her housemate, after all.

Minerva was listening to Professor Hadley, Oh that was great it did mean her. A big smile crossed her lips. "That's fantastic Professor, I really would like to try and get one of the positions. I'm thinking the one that said it was for the Daily Prophet. Do you think I would be good at something like that?" She didn't really have many adults that knew her very well anymore since her parents were gone and Professor Hadley was about the only one she trusted asking. She hoped she could be good at it, "I was also wondering if you could maybe write the letter of recommendation it had been asking for." Yes that would be amazing if she would do this favor for Minerva.
Then all of the sudden someone was next to her. Looking up she frowned... Oakey.. Well that would be just lovely that he showed up when she was here. Then he was acting nuts and backed out.. What the heck was he doing, knocking..Rolling her eyes she couldn't help but give a small smile. As mad as she had been all term with him she couldn't help to see his goofy side. She still was mad, anyone who would go against her to defend that...girl was no friend anymore. Looking at Professor Hadley she chuckled, "Yes, I guess you could let him in after all that."

Knowing that he would still be let in he couldn't resist pressing his ear to the door to make out what it was that they were saying. Apparently Minerva had beat him to the punch, but he would forgive her mostly because he owed her a huge apology for doubting her about Elliot's true nature.
What was that they were still only considering on letting him in, but Oakey wanted to bother Hadley with almost the same exact question that Minerva had asked. "Professor?" he spoke up from the other side of the door.

Minerva listened to Professor Hadley and then smiled, "Then yes I will go for the Daily Prophet internship. Thank you so much for writing a letter for me." Minerva smiled as she said that the announcing could help her. "Oh you really think it could, that's great. I have loved doing it this year. I'm actually thinking of just maybe trying to do that again next term instead of going back out for the team. I have so much fun doing it. I miss quidditch, but this is just as much fun."
She then looked more like glared at Oakey as he came in. Crossing her arms she tried not to show her problem with the boy to much. She listened as he said about needing the same for an internship, well at least it wasn't at the same place, oh then he wanted more, well she didn't want to take up all of Hadley's time. "Professor, I could leave you two to discuss this. I don't want to be a bother to much longer." She smiled and gave Oakey a small trying to be nice smile.

Ah well, that made sense actually. "Not a problem," she said, politely enough, adding him to her growing list of students to write recommendations for.
But then there was more than him just asking her for a recommendation letter. Curse-breaking. Because naturally by using the term to delve into those depths, there would be questions raised about the subject matter. But he wanted to know something different than questions about the subject, but rather what OWLs he should focus on.... "Arithmancy, for sure, History of Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Charms," she hesitated a moment before adding on one more, one that she herself hadn't managed to begin to understand until recently, but it could definitely be of help. "And Ancient Runes too. You'll probably want at least an Exceeds Expectations in each of those.." That was if he wanted to be successful, but he wouldn't ask her about this if he didn't, so yea..
