After welcoming and introducing herself, she followed behind the small crowd motioning to her seating area on the far end of her office. She flicked her right wrist and her wand shot out of its wrist holster. With a little flick, a tray of tea and cups and a tray of Muggle cookies and treats flew towards the coffee table in the middle of the seating area. She smiled at her quick thinking.

"Would you like something to drink or eat?" she asked as she walked towards the head of the seating area to stand in the hot seat. "I also have some Muggle sodas chilling behind my desk if you would like something with some fizzle..." she said excitedly as she reached down for a cup of tea and some sugar. Once she had her tea perfect, she grabbed a sugar cookie and waiting to take a nibble. She knew it was proper etiquette to wait for the others to take a nibble first.

"I'd like something with some fizzle..." He said and winked at the woman. But he was mesmerized by his surroundings. "Tre chic! Tre modern..." He told her. "Befitting such a lovely woman," and he took her hand going to kiss it.

Oh yeah, he was suave...

Gemma smiled at the man as he took up her offer for a coke. She was just about to flick her wand and have the cooler of sodas head their way when the man took her hand as if he was going to kiss it...she instantly felt her cheeks turn a red shade and didn't really know what to do...this was def a first for her...she let him take her hand and kept from letting out a childish giggle from her nervousness...she had never met a man with such manners...or was it just flirtation...

She finally flicked her wand and a cooler of drinks flew over from behind her desk. She opened the top and looked at the man, still blushing, "Umm...well thank you...ummm...wwwwhatt kind of soda would you like. I have plain Coke, Cherry Coke, Dr. Pepper and Sprite." she said to him with a sweet smile on her face.

Lainey raised her hand, as befitting to do when addressing a Professor. "I'll take a garbage bin to puke in, please." In reaction to Amoroso and Muggle Studies blushing.

Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrf.

She dry heaved a little into her palms.

The professor cocked her head to the side at the woman..she wasn't sure if she should be offended or take her comment as a joke, so she did what she usually did and kept her smile on her face and cocked her eyebrow as she glanced towards the Headmistress for guidance, but then her personality got the best of her and she said towards the woman with a wink and a sarcastic playful tone in her voice, "O dang...I'm soooo sorry, but a student took my garbage bin set aside for puke this morning..."

The Headmistress was, for once, actually having the same response as Anjelica Lainey, although it was just her wrinkled nose and horrified face that showed her disgust.

"Please, Mr. Amoroso, keep your germs to yourself." She felt like she was correcting a first year. "Mrs.--- sorry, MISS Cerulean," she forced a smile upon her face, "why don't you tell the Board of Governors about some of the memorable lessons you've taught in your tenure here? I hear you've done some interesting programming too, exposing the children to facets of Muggle culture from their entertainment interests to their dancing...styles....."

Gemma let out a little giggle at the Headmistress's comment about germs...it took every bone in her body not to go get some Muggle antibacterial gel and offer it to everyone, but then she was distracted by the lady in charge's question, "Well, I strive to try to make all of my lessons memorable since Muggle Studies isn't always every student's most favorite subject." she said as she walked towards her bookshelf and pulled out three binders. "These are binders of all of my lessons I've taught over the past few terms..." She set the binders down on the little table in the middle of the seating area.

The professor flicked her wand and each of the binders opened to a different lesson, "I have to admit that my three favorites..." she started motioning towards the notes and lesson plans in the binders, "have to be these three." She sat down and took a quick drink of her soda before continuing...giving the guests a few seconds to glance at the three different binders.

"As was mentioned, I taught a lesson about Popular Muggle Dances and we covered a variety of dances that the students had the opportunity to watch a video of the dance being performed and then they each learned the different dances. They learned the Cha Cha Slide, the Chicken Dance, and the Bunny Hop. The best part was the homework that the students turned in. They had to write their own dance and teach it to someone in the school. Very entertaining to see the students doing crazy dances everywhere they went.!" she said excitedly...she always got over animated as she explained her lessons.

She pointed at another binder, "I also did a lesson about Proper Dinner Etiquette. It wasn't a specific Muggle lesson, but the students highly enjoyed it and the etiquette they learned will be useful in their lives whether in Muggle or Wizard communities. I served a seven course meal and introduced them to the different courses and a variety of etiquette guidelines to follow." she said flipping to a couple of pages...one was the menu from the lesson and one was a list of the etiquette tips.

"Two terms ago I also taught a lesson about famous Muggle Pirates. The students were encouraged to come dressed in their best pirate attire and took a quiz to find their Pirate Name. It was very fun...we discussed a variety of Muggle Pirates and even discussed if any of them may have been Wizards..." she paused and turned a page in the binder, "And as usual, the students really surprised me with their homework assignments. They could either create their own jolly roger flag or write a legend about themselves as pirates...they were amazing as you can see here..." she said pointing out the homework that was turned in.

She paused for a few minutes to let everything sink in and reached for a Tootsie Roll.

"Surprise me." He said and winked at her.


"Oh, come on, Lainey, I'm just being friendly..." He said and winked at her too. He was just a friendly kind of man. He was married and loved his wife, but he wasn't dead and flirting was just his personality. He liked it when people liked him.


Ian held his laughter, but he looked at his shoes and smiled real wide. The woman had spunk!


"My... germs?" Oh... well she was winning points wasn't she. "I see..." He said and sighed. Some people just didn't get him.



He looked at the woman politely and listened to her re-telling of her classes. NOBODY could tell just how bored Ian really was by this. He wasn't at all interested in Muggle Studies... but she was very pretty. "Fascinating, Miss Cerulean, Simply Fascinating." He then looked at everyone else, "Unfortunately though, this little tour is going on longer than I allotted for." Not really true... but the Headmistress had set the mood, and it was not funfunfun. He didn't do boring. "I apologize, but I will need to return to the ministry to take care of some foreign policy paperwork. But I'll take you up on your offer Headmistress, and will be back on my own soon."

"VP Lainey," she quietly corrected under her breath. VP LAINEY.

Right. She was listening. She was. She was VP Lainey, doing her VP thing, fixing probl...

After the teacher that was named BLUE got to the etiquette part, Lainey leaned over and began to whisper to Rae. "That oaf Borr taught dinner etiquette in MY class." So basically, Blue there was Borr and she was going to back slowly out of this office right now.

"I have a gastrointestinal condition." This was how she responded to the poor Muggle's Studies lady. And how she ended up in the hall, PEEKING in the door. But safely outside.

Merlin, but they were an edgy lot, weren't they? Lainey was likely unhappy about the topics being taught (as was the rather academically inclined Cassandra Rae-Branxton, but that was an aside), but why in the world was she...

Oh. Borr. Yes, of course. "You'll have to excuse Anj. We had some rather nasty run-ins with the topic of... etiquette in our past." She couldn't explain Amoroso, and Cassandra wasn't sure she ought to try.

"How do you feel your students would fare with Muggle transportation and banking? Using Muggle money? Using Muggle devices such as the postal service or the telephone? My own daughter's time with Muggles is rather pathetic, which I take entirely on myself, but I hope she'll enter the adult world with a firm ability to blend in. Do you feel that she'll be successful?" Ahem. Vivi didn't really blend, but that was another point.

Oh the castle was a dirty, dirty place.

Dust stick into the long tendril of the Umbrella Vinora as it made its away around the empty parts of the castle. Moving around as if the tendril had eyes, the tendril made its way into an office that was completely open.

Wriggling around the office, it got up to the desk before grabbing hold of a picture with two young children.

In a matter of seconds the tendril was gone from the office, and so was the picture.

Coming back from hanging up notices about the upcoming MS lesson, the professor hurried into her office and sat down at her desk. She felt a little odd like something was watching her or something was off...yes this was odd. Shaking her head, she shook off the feeling and pulled a licorice wand out from the top draw of her desk.

As she slowly moved the licorice wand towards her mouth, she reached for a stack of papers and noticed an area not covered in dust...how odd she didn't remember moving anything and she really needed to dust...but then the realization set in...

"My picture...did it fall off..." she said out loud but just to herself. She quickly stood up and walked to the other side of her desk and looked all over the floor. Then she quickly went over the list of visitors in her office...whom would have wanted that picture. She plopped back down at her desk with the licorice wand hanging out of her mouth...if the Groundskeeper and Ancient Runes teachers were still here she would point her fingers at them trying to be funny...the thought of O made her face turn red yes she was still angry at that man....no boy....

She glanced at the empty spot again and remembered the picture of her brother and her. No this must be a prank by a student....she hurriedly stood up and headed out of her office. The Headmistress must hear about this one...
