"I wasn't calling you a..." Delilah sighed. She was calling her a liar. Because she didn't want to believe her friend's idea... suggestion... whatever it was. She didn't like it, and as Delilah usually did with things she didn't like the idea of... she pretended it was wrong, or that it didn't exist.
Oh?
"... You were?" She looked away from Aurora, instead studying the details on her trunk. "You were there. Okay... So that means that if you're telling the truth, then Johnny... y'know... at his cousin's wedding, because you said you were going, too..." Delilah had felt very left out during that conversation...
"Yes you were." Why else wouldn't she believe what Aurora said? Duh. Aurora Quinn was many things, but she was not a liar...
Okay yes she was.
But not in this case. This case she was telling the truth. Otherwise... Delilah would get hurt more. Mhmm. She was being nice... or not. But did it matter? The girl had to know.
"Would have been kind of awkward if I wasn't." she said with an amused grin. Honestly... cotton on fast, Delilah... Because Aurora was getting bored... "Well yes. It was at the wedding." She raised an eyebrow. "Don't you get it yet..?"
Dylan continued his walk around the train, he was curious as to what each car looked like. Were they different or not? he looked around at the middle car, seemed quite normal except it was quite noisier than the other cars which were much quieter. It seemed that people seemed to prefer this one over the others though he wondered why that was. So he decided to hang out here for a bit before he moved on to have a look around other parts of the train.
He looked outside the window and saw lots of green going past and suddenly he felt a little sick from the fast motion so he looked away and shook the memory of that fast motion scenery from his head. He did NOT want to be sick on his first day and that to in front of all these people, that would be all they would remember of him.. the first year who became sick on the train. No .. no that was not happening to him!

Delilah was half way to the door when Aurora spoke up. She shrugged, and let out a hollow laugh. "Why? ... That's just the reaction you want." Delilah wasn't daft. Some things were blindingly obvious to her...
Then, ignoring the second question - because truthfully, the answer to that was 'no' - Delilah left the compartment. She didn't bother taking her trunk (despite having no intentions of going back to that compartment), nor did she close the door behind her.

As the girl got all weird about the kneazle thing she said. "Oh yeah, you've got to be older to have a Kneazle." Though, the girls parents could have bought the wizard cat and let it be her take it as her school pet. And what made them so dangerous anyways?

"Seventh, and you?" Emmanuelle replied when she was asked what year she was, taking another piece of fudge for herself. It wasn't hard to guess what year Alexis was going into, though. The excitement and all practically gave her away. But it would be rude of her not to ask in return, no? She noticed that the girl ate her fudge slower this time, which give Em some relief, as she didn't want to have to deal with any medical emergencies this train ride.

Dylan continued his walk around the train, he was curious as to what each car looked like. Cause they asked if he was ok since he was feeling a little sick. Well he was feeling better but it was rude to not talk when talked to so he decided to answer the girl.
He nodded and walked over to the girl "Yeah I am okay.. was just looking at the fast passing scenery for too long so kind of felt a little sick from the fast motion." he replied as he looked round and saw that there was no-one there with her. "You on your own?" he asked knowing what the answer was.. but still it was better to ask rather than to assume.. just in case someone came back and started chatting to this girl and leaving him out of the whole conversation.. which he wouldnt mind he was just move onto the next part of the train or just go back to his car.

Maybe it hadn't been the best idea to shout over to him. She hadn't even thought about it being perceived as rude...she just hadn't wanted to lose her seat in the busy train car. "Great," she thought, "Now he realizes I'm alone. Oh well, it must be pretty obvious to everyone anyway. No need to hide it."
"Er, yeah. Yeah I'm a first year. Haven't really had the chance to meet anyone yet. You know...getting supplies and all." Is this how she would be pegged all year? Lonely little new girl? "And you? Are you exploring by yourself? ...Or maybe you're looking for someone?" she started to stand, thinking it might be more hospitable. Maybe he'd sit with her. "If so, I'd offer to help you look, but I uh, don't really know where anything is yet."
Picking up her things from the ground, Cora felt her face turn red, which must have really been noticeable on her normally pale face. Luckily, no one seemed to have noticed her dropping her things.
Cora had some sort of ability to go unnoticed often, which was actually disappointing since Cora was anxious to make another friend. She sat down where there weren't too many people, nervously looking around. "I thought fourth years wouldn't have these problems," Cora thought. She twirled her curly hair, vaguely wondering where her book on dragons had gone. Maybe it was still on the ground somewhere.

"One time my owl tried to fly into the closed train window...I got a new owl the next summer because Skippy never learned to navigate well enough again. He's just a pet now - 'sept sometimes he just goes FWOOMP and falls down instead of flying...its like his brain got all mushy-mushed up or something." She shrugged her shoulder.

The other boy who had been welcomed by her friend, affirming they had enough truffles for a third in their experiment, and she grinned as he'd introduced himself. "Hi Logan. I'm Kendall Lily. Kendall's easier though. We're doing an experiment to see how many chocolate truffles we can eat in one sitting before we get way too much of a sugar rush," she informed him, finishing off her thirteenth truffle and grabbing a couple more. "Are you just starting at Hogwarts?, " she continued, finally taking a seat as he had. At least nobody had sat on Accio yet, who was still attempting to get Patrick's attention. Along with another person who had suddenly burst in and grabbed his hand and loudly introduced herself, which almost brought a giggle out of herself. That was definitely not going to work. As far as she could say, it would just shut Patrick down since she hadn't gotten him half as sociable as she was yet. And she'd just have to hope he'd be back to normal once the train got back to Hogwarts, because there was no way she was going to let him forget to give her her chocolate.
At least she still had Logan to talk to, and she momentarily tuned Mika out. "I've been at Hogwarts since I was eleven," she answered him. "And I'm going into fourth year now. So's Patrick." She didn't have to completely ignore him, at least, even if she'd tuned the younger girl out. Until Accio had suddenly eyed the other girl, then stalked away to jump onto his mistress's lap. Her cat definitely hadn't liked being almost sat on, and the ornage tabby got an absentminded pet as she popped yet another truffle into her mouth. "Did you wanna join the experiment?," she asked Logan, snagging the truffle box again at the same time Mika's conversation topic had changed, and Kendall's hazel eyes went to the girl. "A metamorphmagus?," she asked. "So'm I. But that's not a trick. It's just who I am." Even if she didn't completely have control over her hair color yet. Except for the current pink streaks in her auburn hair, which she was so very proud to have finally mastered. The owl story didn't go unnoticed either, and her eyes had flickered to Patrick's owl. Mika better not mush Orion's brain too. At least she only had her cat, but then it seemed like Mika had tried to smush him.

After she had introduced himself to the boy who had entered the compartment, he had wondered if he should have too since it would have been a good idea. But before he had the opportunity to speak, another girl burst into the area out of nowhere and he had just blinked at her immense enthusiasm since it was quite startling; though that earlier feeling of being watched only seemed to intensify as she had decided to introduce herself to him. "Erm... hi?" His voice went up a couple octaves when he spoke since he wasn't quite sure what to think of Mika, other than the fact that she oddly seemed to have met him before. Apparently. Looking over at Kendall, he had given her a blank expression so that she could have figured something was wrong and it had only gotten worse at the mention of the what happened to the little girl's owl. Dear Merlin. Grabbing Orion's cage, he got up and looked out to see the food trolley down the corridor which was perfect. "I'll um.. I'll see you guys later. Nice to meet you Logan." He walked out of the compartment and just headed off down the corridor, sure his trunk was still there but he trusted his friend to look after it for him while he was gone.
Okaaaaay.
Someone sure had a few screws loose.
Rolling his eyes, Logan continued to look out of the window as the crazy girl babbled on to the other boy who was probably hiding at this point.
Poor bloke.
Hearing a normal person address him, he happily turned away from the window and looked to Kendall. He nodded as she asked if he was new to the school, and then listened as she talked about some experiment they were doing. When she asked him if he wanted to participate, he nodded again. Experiments were fun, and who would object to eating chocolate?
"Nice to meet you guys. Are you really able to change your appearance?" Yes, he had been semi-paying attention to the conversation with the weirdo.
As Patrick got up and headed towards the door, Logan sent him a wave. Man, he felt sorry for the dude. It looked like he migjt have a stalker.

Logan blinked at the boy as he asked him to mend his ankle. Barely managing to catch the Chocolate Frog tossed at him, Logan stuffed it into his pocket.
"I could fix it. But are under age students allowed to do magic on the train?" He didn't know the rules for this school. Nor was he overly confident in his abilities.

Her sudden, random question threw him slightly. He frowned thoughtfully for a minute before answering. "I'm not sure. I've heard the lessons are fun and the views are beautiful, but yeah... I can't..." Hmm, he chewed his lip for a second. "Possibly being somewhere that has so much history... and the fact that I'll finally be there like I've always wanted to be." That was reasonable, right? "And having you around every day." he added.

He didn't want that to happen since it would have meant that he couldn't have been able to hang out with his friend or any other potential friends and that wouldn't have been fun.
After she had introduced himself to the boy who had entered the compartment, he had wondered if he should have too since it would have been a good idea. But before he had the opportunity to speak, another girl burst into the area out of nowhere and he had just blinked at her immense enthusiasm since it was quite startling; though that earlier feeling of being watched only seemed to intensify as she had decided to introduce herself to him. "Erm... hi?" His voice went up a couple octaves when he spoke since he wasn't quite sure what to think of Mika, other than the fact that she oddly seemed to have met him before. Apparently. Looking over at Kendall, he had given her a blank expression so that she could have figured something was wrong and it had only gotten worse at the mention of the what happened to the little girl's owl. Dear Merlin. Grabbing Orion's cage, he got up and looked out to see the food trolley down the corridor which was perfect. "I'll um.. I'll see you guys later. Nice to meet you Logan." He walked out of the compartment and just headed off down the corridor, sure his trunk was still there but he trusted his friend to look after it for him while he was gone.

Rolling his eyes, Logan continued to look out of the window as the crazy girl babbled on to the other boy who was probably hiding at this point.

Hearing a normal person address him, he happily turned away from the window and looked to Kendall. He nodded as she asked if he was new to the school, and then listened as she talked about some experiment they were doing. When she asked him if he wanted to participate, he nodded again. Experiments were fun, and who would object to eating chocolate?
"Nice to meet you guys. Are you really able to change your appearance?" Yes, he had been semi-paying attention to the conversation with the weirdo.
As Patrick got up and headed towards the door, Logan sent him a wave. Man, he felt sorry for the dude. It looked like he migjt have a stalker.
Kendall had thought about trying to steal the box of truffles back already, but that had only gotten even more likely as she'd watched Patrick take what seemed like a dozen at once. She hadn't counted, but it was an awful lot and it made her worry that no matter how many time he'd assured her there would be enough for their experiment. Thirteen truffles was definitely not going to be enough to make her bounce off the walls. She was still sitting down after all, but she'd grinned at him as he'd questioned her compliment. "Course I think so. I wouldn't've said it if I didn't, and that would be awesome. Would I always get free chocolate if you did become one?," she replied, completely intending on the last question to be taken literally. She didn't want him to stop giving her stuff just because he was being all professional about it all, and she didn't want to have to resort back to stealing it. He probably would tackle her again if she'd tried, but then the tornado that was Mika had arrived and she'd at least managed to get the truffle box back. Even though that became awkward once Accio had jumped up on her lap as well, so she'd just sort of wedged the box onto the seat next to her as she'd started petting her cat.
And tried to unwedge the box as Logan had agreed to eat the truffles too. There might have been less in the box now after whatever Patrick had taken, and they weren't technically hers either, but she was taking charge of them while she didn't have all of the other chocolate that actually had been given to her. At least then she knew she'd get more. Especially as she'd heard Patrick manage to get a word in edgewise and she'd turned back to her friend in surprise. She didn't know he could make that noise, and then he'd up and fled. Minus his trunk, but with Orion... and the bag that she knew still had her chocolate in it! She really hoped he came back eventually, or she'd have to resort to holding his trunk hostage until she got her present back. And apparently now she was the focus of Mika's energy, which made her take three more truffles from the box between herself and Logan. Chocolate was necessary, or she'd really start worrying.
"My mama gives me lessons, sort of. She doesn't really know much, since it's my papa's family that has the metamorphmaguses in it, but she helps me control it," she answered hesitantly. Is it even metamorphmaguses? "And I usually only can do my hair," she added, using her free hand to point to her pink streaks. That had taken on an odd violet hue as her hair had started to flicker slightly in her confusion to dark blue. She didn't want to get glommed onto any more than she'd known Patrick had, 'specially when Accio was still on her lap. Accio who now was getting the blonde's attention. "His name's Accio. I also have a puppy at home named Pooka, but she can't come to Hogwarts. So my brother gave me Accio last Christmas." That wasn't going to make her end up with anything weird, was it? She wasn't sure if Mika's pygmy puff was okay after all. Her hazel eyes, still sightly wide, had gone back to Logan as he'd jumped in with questions again about her ability, too. "Appearance?" Okay, Mika had done that weird thing with making herself look younger, but she didn't do that. And she could barely control her hair even, although she closed her eyes for a moment and managed to get everything but the pink to go back to auburn. With another couple of truffles in her system. Now the chocolate was calming her down.

She was afraid of Flying and never participated in the sport and 2.She hadn't even watched a game from the stands in so long. But that did sound like an amazing career. 'I'm happy for you.' Ari replied sincerely. 'Are you going to be on the Gryffindor team this year, you reckon?' An improvement from asking whether she had been on the team for the last 6 years. Ari only knew the Gryffindor captain, Selina, but had no idea who the other players were.
The younger girl had to laugh at that. 'But this time you were quite the group getting lost. Weren't you scared? Didn't you get in trouble?' she wondered, remembering what her mum had said about Knockturn Alley. You never knew what might be lurking there.

"I spent at home having fun with my brother and friends," The corners of Cassia's lips turned up in a smile remembering all the goofing around she had spent her summer in. First there had been a huge ball of trouble with her sisters at Beauxbatons, and yes Fee had told them to go to Hogwarts but they wouldnt listen to her. After that the holidays began already and Fee had been away with her family for almost all of it. It was so good to see and hear her bestie now."Sit down and tell me about your holidays", the blonde beamed," we're gonna get so much candy i swear, we're gonna be sick when we arrive." Who cared, they had a lot to celebrate.

Tiffany moved her glance away from the two girls as they began to talk about
this kind of sensible topic. Well, she couldn't deny that Slytherin is a cool house and she would love to be sorted in it if she had never heard those rumors from her family and friends when she was small. However in her opinion, the lions are always the best house ever. After all she is a bit of house basis, so forgave her on that.
"Curiosity is good,"she replied as she turned to Juliet. The tree would not be harmful to anyone if he or she just looked from afar. "You should explore the whole castle first."Before you began to worry if that was worthy or not.
The lioness then moved her attention to the view outside the window as she heard the second year's opposition to be called as a little girl. "Well, you are a little girl indeed,"she chuckled. She wondered why Cassia didn't like to be considered as a young little girl. As for the lion, she loves to be called as little girl. It makes her feel like she's always a child to everyone else. She has the childlike personality which makes her consider every person who is older than her as brothers and sisters. She wants to be the youngest among all, like always. "At least you are the youngest among us, second year." She pointed at herself and Juliet. That's true when she was compared to two fourth year, sitting across her.
"Me too. I just spent it with my family..."she pouted a bit. It was quite boring though, with all those picnics and camping. And most importantly it's because she is the only child in her family so it makes the whole trip even more boring. Her eyes widened as she heard that Juliet move in with her cousin, and that's her graduated-brother, Jonathan. "I envy you,"she giggled. Awww, she's really lucky that Jonathan is her cousin and she could be able to live WITH him. Tiffany wished that he were her real brother but apparently not.

Picking up her things from the ground, Cora felt her face turn red, which must have really been noticeable on her normally pale face. Luckily, no one seemed to have noticed her dropping her things.
Cora had some sort of ability to go unnoticed often, which was actually disappointing since Cora was anxious to make another friend. She sat down where there weren't too many people, nervously looking around. "I thought fourth years wouldn't have these problems," Cora thought. She twirled her curly hair, vaguely wondering where her book on dragons had gone. Maybe it was still on the ground somewhere.
The boy seemed to be giving Eliza a strange look. She turned her face from him for a moment and saw a girl who was blushing quite profusely. "Maybe she has a crush on this boy..." she guessed. Then she noticed a book wedged underneath the bench. She reached down to pick it up. Gripping the spine of what appeared to be a book about dragons she offered up to the train car, "Um, hey, does this book belong to someone in here?"

Ella laughed, nodding seriously. "Me either. I need good food to live...and I mostly mean lots of ice cream." And she wasn't even joking or anything. "Do you like ice cream?" Ells sure hoped so. "Yeah! They do cook it! They're quite nice, the house elves!" And weirdly cute too!

She didn't even want to think of the day she would become a seventh year; it was all too much! She didn't want to grow up and have to go off into the real world instead of spending her days with her friends and well she hadn't even started Hogwarts yet so the thought of leaving just seemed so unreal to her. "Are you sad about that?" She knew she would have been, that's for sure. "Oh but I'm a first year." she was now beaming over at the girl. Lex loved the sound of being only a first year...even if people thought they were stupid.

Faye didn't even notice the boy either until he stormed out. She must have been so absorbed in her book that she didn't notice the fighting until it was already over. Jeez, how rude to break up with her with another girl in the compartment. How rude to fight in front of her. Jeepers, didn't these people know anything!
"Talk about rude...jeez, fight some where else would you." She said looking over at them and the boy left anyway. Holy moly, is this what Hogwarts was all about. Faye was in the middle of drama beforeshe had even been sorted!
