Ariana noted the girl "your really going to read on the way to school?" she said 'this one had to be a ravenclaw'

"Thank You!" Ari also thought her name was pretty, and so was Ells, it was a nice nickname... She took another gummy word and took a big bite out of it, she never had a favortie though, anything with sugar was her favorite.

"Yup, first year a Hogwarts!" Arille awnsered happily. She loved taking about it too, because who wouldn't be a bit excited about starting school in a castle that teaches you magic, "Oh! I'm super excited! What's it like? Hogwarts I mean?"

Noticing the girl for the first time Faye looked up. Ugh, people. "Of course I am, that's why I got it out." She replied. Jeepers, there was that attidude that Faye always had. She had trouble making new friends because of it. But most of the time she would rather be alone anyway.

Her mother told her several times that she was a Debby Downer. But then again what do mothers really know.

Ariana looked at the girl as if she were nuts, did this girl not know how she was "you must be new.. correct? she asked as she threw another cookie piece into the air and caught it in her mouth "first year or transfer?" she asked bluntly

Holy cow, this girl was nuts. Was she really throwing pieces of cookie in the air?? Gross. Faye resisted the urge to roll her eyes a the girl. "Yes I'm new, a first year." She added.

Faye readjusted her sitting position and tucked her legs underneath her. She didn't like to be spread out and exposed when there was other people around. It was her defense seeing as she was short and underweight she had nothing else. Well maybe when she learned to use her wand she would.

"And you?" Faye asked the girl.

"It's not rocket science! Anyone who sees the way you two look at each other knows you still have feelings for each other...I'm sorry but i can't date another girl who's hung up on some other guy again...please, stop wasting your time with me and go tell him how you feel...I just want you to be happy." Maxwell said giving her a chance to be honest with him and herself, he didn't want to end things on a bad note but he would if he had to.

"No, no. Its always best to be honest." And to tell the truth up front. Em was sure that waiting to tell someone something like this would be bad, real bad. "And I'm sure he just need some time along. Oakey's just got to sort some stuff out." Em gave the little girl a squeeze. Sometimes words couldn't help. "Everyone's crazy." Em said with a smile. "All the fun people anyways, If they weren't crazy they would be boring normal people just like everybody else." And the world wouldn't be a fun place if everyone acted the same. "I'm Emmaleigh," the older puff said as she continued to hold the little crying girl, hoping she would dry up soon. There had been too many tears in the compartment already.

"oh how ever so rude of me." she said in her british accent "Ariana Logan 4th year Slytherin she said as she eyed the girl, trying to read her

"so your breaking up with me now? great." just flippin great. "just, get out of here max." she said to him coldly

Maxwell sighed. "I...I just want you to be really happy, Ariana..and i know with me, you're just passing the time...You'll always be my best friend." He said with a lump in his throat and walked out of the room quickly

Tiberius saw his human leave and hissed at the girl who'd upset him before following after him.

Laura sighed. "Why do I feel like I've made the wrong choice then." Laura really wished that Oakey was still sitting there chatting with her but well she knew now it was going to be awhile before they spoke again. "I think you could be right there." Laura was finally managing to stop the tears. "I'm really sorry you had to see me like this." Laura gave the older girl a small smile. "And I'm sorry you had to see that." Laura hugged the older girl back.

Ariana watched as he stormed away "I'm Not sharing my cookies with you!!" she shouted to him as he walked away

Maxwell tried not to laugh at what Ariana said. He let out a little one but kept walking, even though he knew it had to be done it did hurt a little to break up with her. She didn't seem to be effected at all...he needed to talk to someone so he started in search of his sister.

This summer had officially been the most horribly boring summer, ever. Just being back on the train made her feel better, because she was going to get to see Johnny and Aurora again, every day, for the whole year. No more stupid Annie, getting away with everything just because she was the younger sibling. You'd have thought her parents were going to be lovely to her, because she'd done so well in her OWLs, but nope. Annie was still the more favoured child. Pfft. That all being said, the summer had it's uses. For example, Delilah had learned how to make her hair look nice (the muggle way, too!). Y'know... as opposed to the boring, untidy, kind-of-curly-but-not-really state that it usually was. So today it sat in nice curls, and held in with what was probably too much hairspray.

Delilah wandered down the train with her trunk in tow, hoping to find a familiar face to sit with. (And if that failed, she was hoping to find a nice, empty car so she didn't have to sit with strangers.) She was about half way down the train when she noticed that one of the compartment door windows was brighter than the one she was stood next to. Strange. With a frown, Delilah's curiosity got the better of her. She dragged her trunk closer, and peered in through the window.

Oh!

It was Aurora!

Delilah grinned, and opened the door at completely the wrong moment. The girl yelped and ducked behind the door, hoping it would miss her. Aurora couldn't have seen Delilah before she cast the spell... right? "Nice to see --"

Oh no.

No, no, no, no, no.

Delilah looked at Aurora, frozen with fear; eyes full of panic. "I... 'Rora... My... Hairspray wasn't a good idea." The girl's voice was several octaves higher than usual. My hair is on fire. MY HAIR. FIRE. THIS. IS. BAD. Why doesn't Hogwarts teach us about these kinds of accidents?!!?!?!

Nell found their compartment and thankfully it hadn't been invaded. Getting through the corridors was always a nightmare. They passed a girl who was shouting something about cookies and it took everything she had not to roll her eyes. Finally she made it to the sanctuary of there compartment, throwing herself onto the seat with a sigh of relief.

After soaking up the blessed peace and quiet Nell sat back up. First she checked on Soren who was snoozing happily in his cage and then she checked on her things. "Did you have a lap desk that you could use or did you want to borrow mine?" He had seemed pretty determined to write to his dad...or maybe he had calmed down a bit.

Stupid cat distracting her from everything... grrrr. Aurora had been scowling at Sebastian so much that she hadn't noticed the door open until she hear someone speak. She glanced up...

Oh. Delilah. Great. Was she going to get... OH!

Aurora pointed her wand at the girl again and muttered "Aguamenti." See? Practicing aim helped... in the long run... even if it caused problems when you missed.

She stood there for a second as the water stopped coming from her wand. Oops. She had wronged the girl twice now... because there was no way she would be able to cover that scorching without cutting it out. Great.

"Oops..."

Clutching the strap of his bag, Alec wandered along the corridor. He peeked round the window each compartment, trying to find a spare compartment. Or one that had someone he knew. Anyone, really. Or maybe he could just find someone who was alone and... make a new friend? Yeah, that sounded-

Hey, that was Rilez! Alec let a grin spread across his face before looking around at the other people in the compartment. Oh... she was with other people. Like that Penelope girl and... hey, Alice! And... a random guy. But his best friend looked happy... without him. Alec stepped back and started to walk away slowly. Yeah... she didn't need him.

The thirteen year old continued to walk, his hands deep in his pockets, when something else caught his attention. This time, it wasn't the sight of anyone in particular but... a voice. A nice voice, at that. Confused, the boy continued to walk faster along the compartment until...

... Bliss? ... Bliss can sing?! The third year quietly pulled the compartment door open and stood at the doorway, grinning at the second year girl. She... was also playing her guitar! Wow. Alec moved forwards, closed the compartment door and sat down opposite Bliss, just listening to her play with a smile spreading across his face. Yeah... it was nice.

Edmund had managed to maneuver his way to the compartment with Nell somehow and given a lot of people strange looks at the same time - especially the cookie girl. Hogwarts kids really were crazy! Sitting across from Nell, he gazed out of the window, but looked back to her when she offered her lap desk.

"Uh, could I borrow yours please?" he asked hopefully. "And possibly a quill, ink and parchment? Mine's all at the bottom of my trunk." It was always the first thing he packed and now he was kind of regretting it. He'd remember that for next time.

Delilah winced when the water hit her, then looked up at Aurora once it'd stopped. No more fire-y hair. Good. However... Not much hair left... Delilah sighed and pulled at it. It was a good start to the year...

Oops. Hmpf.

Delilah took her trunk and pulled it into the compartment, not bothering to put it away properly. She sat down and looked up at Aurora. It was fine. It was just hair... Delilah didn't need to cry about it. She could just get it cut, write to her mum and say that she wanted to look a bit more grown up. And she definitely didn't need to get mad at Aurora for it. It was just an accident, after all. It was fine.

"So... Good summer?"

Bliss was lost in a world on her own. Just strumming at her guitar and singing, she was at peace. All her thoughts were clear and she was happy. The song she was singing was a new one and still rough around the edges, but she didn't mind. She stopped playing for a moment and opened her eyes.

"Alec," she whispered..o__O "ALEC!" She said enthusiastically, placing her guitar on the seat next to her and reached across to Alec and gave him a hug. "How long were you listening?" Bliss asked, biting her lip. She grinned at him although she was still pretty surprised.

Aurora was so confused about three things:
1. Why wasn't Delilah mad about her hair?
2. Why wasn't she mad about Jonathan?
3. Why wasn't she wondering why Aurora wasn't in Austria?

So she just stood where she was as Delilah pulled her trunk into the compartment, staring at the girl with a very confused expression on her face.

"So... you aren't going to have a go at me..?" she said, frowning slightly, her wand still dangling from between her fingers. "Because I thought that's what you came in for..?" Right..?

Delilah looked up at Aurora, the confusion spreading right across her face. "I ... what?" Did Aurora mean about her hair? Why would she be mad about that? "It was just an accident..." But.. Oh. Delilah frowned as her friend finished her sentence.

"Wait, what? No... I don't... Why would I already need to be mad at you?" She looked down at her feet, confused. Aurora wasn't making any sense!

Nell smiled over at Edmund and nodded. Lifting the lid on her trunk she grabbed her lap desk and the little container that had all of her quills, ink, and parchment. She handed them down to him. "You can use any of the quills and ink, just take your pick." Though he already knew from experience that purple was the color she used for her own letters. Nell made it a habit though of keeping all of the colors in stock. She didn't use them all very often but she liked having them available.

An accident? Well it certainly wasn't an... oh. She meant the hair thing.

Wait... she didn't know..? Aurora smirked a tiny little bit. Honestly, Jonathan was in trouble now. Heh. Then again, could anyone really be in trouble with Delilah? Aurora didn't think the girl had it in her to even shout... let alone break up with someone. Ha.

"You don't know?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. "Jonathan didn't tell you..?"

This could be... fun.

Alright now where did that little guy get off to. She had only turned her back on him for half an hour two seconds at most yet he managed to slip away.

Lex sighed. She didn't have time to be looking for her feline friend but she had to for the sake of all the unsuspecting owls and their owners who might have given them free reign to be outside their cages. When she found him she would skin him alive.

Coming to the middle of the train she decided to start checking compartments in the hopes that he might have curled up in one and simply gone to sleep. She threw open a compartment door and found some girls already in there. She recognized only one of them. Stare.

Look. Stare. Look some more. Nothing.

"Have any of you seen a knea--uh a cat wondering around?" Just then her eyes landed on a girl that was crying her eyes out. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" Unless she was one of those girls who reached the age where they apparently cried for no reason in which case she was about to walk away. Quickly.

... Why was Aurora smirking?

"Well... there are lots of things that I don't know."

Delilah looked up at her, frowning. She'd not seen or heard of Johnny all summer. He'd probably been too busy climbing mountains and going on adventures to send her an owl... That didn't really bother her too much though.

"I ... I ... No?" Delilah glanced out of the window. Her hair still smelled all burny... It was going to be like that for days, at least, wasn't it? She focused her attention back on the girl in front of her. "Why? ... Should he have told me this something?"

And... Why would it mean that Delilah would be mad at Aurora for it? THAT bit really didn't make any sense to the girl...
