A quiet tea shop where you can meet up with your friends.
Madam Puddifoot's is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table, on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light in, ready to be lit for those there on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade high street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
Sapphira Puddifoot keeps the shop this way because she has to. But she has no desire to look upon all the fancy decoration herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day.

"I do try for you, mon amour," Damon smiled, "So I'm hoping that's a good thing."
She chuckled and ran a hand through his hair "you know i know not one word in french." she smiled it sure did sound pretty though "And of course it's a goo thing."

And what did this one want then? Sapphira narrowed her eyes, nodding along to each of the things the girl ordered, scribbling them down on a spare piece of parchment so she didn't forget, making note of the prices as well. "Eight sickles and three knuts for all that, please. Do you want me to bring it over?" Because it seemed she was going to have to do some work today.
This woman seemed as grumpy as the barkeep at the Leaky Cauldron. Only Kurumi knew that Ryoma didn't really liked kids despite having one of his own. He was her god....brother? Was that what he was? His father was her godfather after all.
Not important.
Kurumi dug through her wallet until she found the appropriate amount of money and handed it over to the woman. "Um...I can wait and carry it over myself if you are too busy," Kurumi offered. Which really translated as 'if you are too cranky' since she sort of looked like she wanted to throw it across the shop rather than deliver it.

Good to know there's still normal people in this shop doing normal things.
Messer was about to point out that there's normal people too in the shop when he caught Alice was staring at someone. He followed Alice's eyes. Is that Blue the chocolate frog haters? With Theo? Wait. Are they a couple? Hmm..Maybe they're just eating like what he and Alice intend to do. "Alice is rude to stare."
And just a mention of his and this pinky stuffs Alice was back to her old self. "There's the Alice I know." He would endure her teasing all day so he could see her smile or laugh. The thing he would do for her best friend.
What he want to order? Hmm.."I think I'll order Apple pie with ice cream and water." Sound delicious. "What about you?" He wait for her answer before he find the shopkeeper and tell her their order.
She couldn't ignore them... they were EVERYWHERE. Except for Kurumi and Tag. But.. other than that.. ew. And Blue and Theo.. she rolled her eyes at Messer. "I'm not staring, I'm eyeing. Big difference." Very big difference. And she definitely was going to keep an eye on those two. They had better not have been doing anything funny, or Alice was going to catch them. NO. It wasn't spying. It was watching out for her ickle Blue. Obviously. Because her ickle blue was not allowed to be with a boy in a couple-y place.
Unacceptable.
Almost as unacceptable as she and Messer being there.
Alice beamed back at Messer. "Ice cream?! They serve ice cream?!" They DID make a good decision coming here. She looked at the menu, her eyes darting fro one item to the next. "I want all of it," she told him, stuck. "There's too many choices." It all looked so pretty. She looked over the menu once more, and then finally narrowed her choices down. "I want an ice cream sundae." YES. Ice cream. Obviously. What else was she, of all people, going to pick? "Where's the shopkeeper?"

Damon shrugged, "Anywhere," He looked outside the shop, "I mean, it's up to you, anything sounds fun to me."
"Let's go to Zonko's i havent been there since 2nd year!" and she liked jokes & pranks and so did he.. so this could be a recipe for a disaster or an extremely fun evening
"You've definitely succeeded." He grinned impressedly at her and picked up a menu too. A couple of things looked nice, but if he was being honest, he'd rather be sitting outside than in here. Yup. Puke central had invaded his brain once more. He glanced up at Nell, trying to keep his smile as natural as possible. "See anything you like?"
She had been watching his expression from over the top of her menu. She could tell that he didn't like this place and she couldn't blame him. This wasn't exactly her favorite place. She put her menu on the table and smiled at Ed. "Do you want to go somewhere else? This place isn't my favorite place to hang out."
Not to mention that Nell didn't want Edmund to be uncomfortable on their date. She wanted them to have a good time and she knew he wasn't liking the venue. Well, that could be fixed easily.

Barely noticeable."Well, we'll just see what happens in this place." She said with her best straight face, but at the very last second she burst out laughing so hard that she had to cover her red face.
"Hmm. Well I don't know if the ministry is *exactly* what I'm looking for as a lifetime job but its bringing me cash. So I'll stay there for a while I suppose." It was just a temporary thing for right now. She then frowned when she heard Colin say he wouldn't miss anything of scotland. "Are you crazy Scotland is beautiful! Why would you miss it? Must be the people." Because even she couldn't imagine herself fully leaving Ireland. She'd probably visit every so often, but it seemed Colin had his mind set on not returning. "I'd probably live here too. Probably. I'm still lost around the city and all. I'll just visit my family every so often. Don't want to miss them or anything."
"I'm always hungry. I'll literally eat anything off your plate if you couldn't finish it and I were still full." She announced to him with a grin. No shame in saying that. "That sounds perfect Mr. Ninja Colin."
He liked ninja's right?
Colin sported a grin after Saxon's laughing fit. Adorable. This girl. Adorable.
"I think it's already working." he said the grin still playing on the edges of his lips. Because... giggly was always a good sign.
He gave a light shrug. "I'm sure you could do whatever you want." And he wasn't just saying that. He was honestly intrigued by Blondie. She was definitely something.
"Scotland is nice to visit." He clarified. For the sole purpose of the cobblestone streets and the greenery. He shrugged. "I've got nothing there. I share a flat with my brother." And nearly all of his friends were muggle, so he'd lost touch since moving to London.
Merlin. Ireland. That was somewhere he hadn't been in awhile. Heh. Merlin, if they were to have kids they'd be impossible to understand. Not that he was thinking about that. But seriously. Could you even imagine a child with a mixture of an Irish and Scottish accent?
He raised an eyebrow. "Really?" he asked. "You must have never gotten a proper tour." And he could change that. Unless she was into getting lost. Then he was fine with that as well.
He smiled a little when she mentioned her family. That was nice. He imagined."You're little brother is here, isn't he?" Not here, here. But Hogwarts.
"Sounds adorable." Unless he was hungry. Then it didn't. But Blondie could probably get away with it.
He waved his hand to get the shopkeeper's attention. "We'll take two apple crisps and two coffees." Because he was hungry too.

Her look was complete with a pair of black tights and a pair of tan-coloured brogues. She had gathered her hair away from her face, but the curls still ran loose on her back. Understated yet elegant.
Ariadne was happy to see Jory in something other than Hufflepuff robes, and his haircut had been one of the first things she'd noticed about him that day on Diagon Alley. 'Thank you. You don't look too shabby yourself.' she responded playfully to his compliment. The Gryffindor just couldn't stop smiling! It was such a wonderful day. Their first date.
Gwen? 'I'm sure she'll be ok with it, but I'll give her some time to get used to us. I'm seeing her this afternoon at the Three Broomsticks. I know it won't be long until we can all hang out together, but at first I just want to show her that this relationship won't change me and that I'll always have time for her.' Yes. She had given it quite some thought lately. 'Of course she's still baffled by displays of affection, though.' Ari laughed, picturing her best friend's green face whenever she heard anything lovey-dovey. 'We might need to find her a boyfriend.' That'd be fun!
Madam Puddifoot's? Classic and perfect. 'That would be lovely.' Ari smiled as she and Jory headed towards the tea shop. Once inside, the girl had picked a table in the back, where it was more quiet and less in the way of other people. 'Over there.' she said, leading the way, eager to start talking about EVERYTHING!
Jory was enjoying the cold weather. As a matter of fact, he was enjoying it more than ever. Everything seemed a million times more wonderful now. And he owed it all to Ari.Words could not express all the happiness he was feeling. He looked over at her and smiled. "Any reason why you've been smiling non stop today?'' he asked teasingly as the wind blew a tendril of her hair onto her face. He loved the way she had it today. "You look beautiful,'' he told her again.
"Good,'' said Jory. "I'm glad to hear you say that you'll have time for her too, not that I'll take you away from her but I don't want her to hate me or anything.'' The poor boy was hoping Gwen would get used to him and Ari being together as fast as possible. Then there would be less time for her to develop any ill feeling towards him for falling for her best friend. But he was amused at what Ari said next. "That would be fun, wouldn't it? Imagine Gwen getting all lovey.'' It was funny to picture it since Gwen was more of the serious type.
Jory followed Ari towards the back of the tea shop. He was quite glad for the quiet. He just wanted to spend some uninterrupted time with her. Before he took his seat, the boy held out a chair so she could sit first. "First things first,'' he told her, looking around at all the other couples which crowded up the shop. "What would you like to eat and drink?'' Or if she wasn't ready to order as yet, he didn't mind.
When Ari wasn't looking, Jory slipped a long stemmed red rose he had hidden in his pocket and placed it on the table in front of her. At least he hadn't squished it or anything.

Her question encouraged a guilty smile from him. He hadn't meant for her to see his uncomfortable-ness about this icky place, though he was really glad she'd offered to go somewhere else. "It isn't? Can't think why." It couldn't be the hearts, flowers and sickeningly sweet atmosphere, surely. "Where would you like to go?" He gazed at her, expecting an answer that could quite easily have come out of his own mouth - Nell was just a mind reader awesome like that.

He couldn't help to chuckle when he saw Alice reaction after he said ice cream. "Of course they're." Who doesn't serve ice cream? Its like a MUST have menu. "All of it? If she was too busy. Well yes, actually, she was. The cafe was full to the brim with mostly moon-eyed blushing children and she was busy trying not to throw up at the sight of them. As for serving busy, not so much right now. "I can do it, but if you want to wait be my guest. Won't be a minute."
Having put the money away Sapph went out to the kitchens and began preparing what the girl had asked for. Mind you she never mentioned if she wanted them hot or cold, so cold it was. Apart from the custard. Placing it all on a tray a few minutes later, she went back out to the counter and put it down. "There we go..... Enjoy." Yeah, be nice. She really needed to work on that.

That was the one thing she really hated about working in the cafe - being waved at to get her attention. Biting her tongue, Sapphira walked over to the table with a purposeful look on her face, and her pad and quill in hand.
Apple crisps? He meant pie right? Because that's all she had. Unless some kid had written something else on her menu board when she hadn't been looking. Whatever. "That'll be twelve sickles please, and I'll be right back."
And off she went to get their order.
A few minutes later, well nearly ten because she was accosted by another child on her way to the kitchen, Sapph came back with a tray, placed the contents down on their table and waited to be paid.

Again with the waving. What was wrong with 'excuse me?'
Oh, okay.. that wasn't the enthusiasm that he was looking for, but oh well. Blue hadn't found a NEW bestie, had she? It's not like he made it routine to ask her, but... but... WHAT IF SHE'D FOUND SOMEONE ELSE. Theo made a face at the thought. "Cool....."
Theo rolled his eyes. Like THAT plan would work. "Blue... you need to set it back into the wild where it belongs." Because it would start eating PEOPLE next, and we wouldn't want that going on in the Ravenclaw common room, would we? .... Weapon of Mass Destruction? His eyebrow arched, and then he sniggered. "Well... I don't think he is anymore." Seeing as he got eaten by a CAT.
"It's funny cos.... he's not actually BIG at all." Theodore laughed out loud, almost cracking up to the floor. It was a good joke. Yes. Big daddy.
"Totally, who even needs beaters?" Apart from whacking the Ravenclaw players when they were playing. He wouldn't mention that here, though... cos of bestie reasons. Theodore frowned when Blue was trying to defend Ella for the whole 'loving him and Alec thing'. "If she didn't want people finding out, she shouldn't of told me." Yes, he was a bit mean to tell everyone, but he felt that her friends should have the right to know. "She still did NOT need to committ murder." Or attempted. Whatever.
No comeback? Come on, Bluuuuue - a fake argument would've been fun. But it looked like she was trying her hardest not to laugh sooo..... naturally, it set Theo off, too. Giggle.
I mean, GLARE. He gave her a GLARE.
Why was he being all quiet-like? And making a face. BOYS. She wasn't even gonna PRETEND to understand that...species. But, to lighten the mood or moment or whatever, "Your face looks funnyyyyyyy." More weird than funny but she wasn't about to say that. Might sour his mood even further. She pulled her own face. Hehehehe. Yep. You were allowed laugh at her Theo. She wasn't about to tell him off for it. Nope.
"NUUUH." She would've stomped her foot if she wasn't sitting down cause she was a little brat. "I can't do that to him. He's actually a SWEETHEART once you get over the whole," EVIL thing. But if she said that Theo would KNOW he was right. "um...temper problem. He's a very loveable, fat creature." Eh...kinda. "Anyways, if I got rid of him, Alice would be SO upset. She says I'm it's mommy." She was it's adoptive mommy anyway. And she was kind of an expert in being adopted. So she knew what the kitty was going through.
"Don't LAUGH at his name!" And she gave him a not fake GLARE, crossing her arms. "I think it was a BRILLIANT name. He totally deserved it. It's just unfortunate that he got eaten when his back was turned." So there. Now shut up, Theo!
"Well, if we didn't have beaters, bludgers would just being whizzing around..." But there probably wouldn't be bludgers without beaters so she trailed off awkwardly when this realization hit. Ahem. "Oh. I suppose. But I doubt she meant to tell you. Or wanted you to tell me..." But Blue was definitely glad he did. She wanted to be IN THE KNOW. Wasn't that what her and West had decided when they first met? That they'd be the first years (or second years now) that knew all? "But she DIDN'T commit murder. You're still here!" BEAM.
Oooooops. He was giggling now. Which got Blue laughing some MOAR. Dammit. And they're plan was FOOLPROOF. She kept giggling, looking around and her giggling stopped abruptly. Alice. And Messer. Staring. At her and Theo. In a lovey-dovey-grossy shop. Aw crap. O___O And from the looks of things, their plan and acting, hadn't worked on her sister. Wide-eyed, the twelve-year-old looked down, ASHAMED (of something she hadn't done, mind you!), and sipped her apple juice, not meeting the blond and the meanie chocolate frog eater's gaze.
OH THE HORROR.
SPOILER!!: Foooooood

His was the buttie as well as that cheesecake right? "Four sickles and five knuts. While yours is 6 knuts on the nose," she said, turning to look at the little girl the boy was with.
Jeez.
What a gentleman. Paying for her food. Who would've thought? *sarcasm* Narrowing her eyes at Theo, in a mini!Glare and she gave an annoyed nod at the waitress person. But the woman seemed just as angry at Theo as Blue was. Frustrating kid, wasn't he? Yeah. Now TheoDORE, stop upsetting the lady and let her go serve other tables before she SPITS IN OUR FOOD.
Blue pulled out six knuts and dropped them on the table. Just as she was about to decide NOT TO TALK to her bestie for the rest of their meal, she realized something. It'd probably just reinforce the idea that they were a couple if he paid for her. Which was NOT what she wanted right now, especially when Alice was eyeing her like a hawk.
So....
Nice one Theo.

See, the WOMAN hadn't asked if Kurumi had wanted it hot or cold - weren't these things usually served hot when order with ice cream anyway? Still, Kurumi wasn't going to give the grumpy woman something to be grumpy at her about, so she simply took the two dishes and bowed politely to the woman before heading back over to Tag.
"Here you go," Kurumi said as she slid the plate towards him, fingers still on the edge of the plate so she could retract it if needed. "So...about what we were discussing earlier..."

Finally. Kurumi came back with the pie with the ice cream and the orange juice. He stared at the food for a little bit. Whether to prepare himself for gobbling it down soon enough or because he was having second thoughts about having food with this conversation. After a swallow he grabbed his fork and neatly cut off a piece of the pie, mixed in some ice cream and stuffed it into his mouth. With a few more bits of the pie and ice cream, and a large gulp of orange juice Tag slowly started.
"Right. Me not being fair to the girl.. Umm" He stared at his fork for far too long, almost examining it. "It's Anya. An, as you probably know she's taken, and she's my best friend. And it'd be weird if anything were to happen."
It'd be less weird to think about it if she weren't his best friend and just a friend. Easier to think about all this if they weren't so complicated and attached and afraid of losing each other.
Right. He went back to eating to distract himself from probably rambling. An maybe this would be a good time for Kurumi to tell him what she thought all about this. Maybe she'd been in this position before and had a lot to offer on the situation. Tag would take any help, ideas, advice he got from anyone.

He had noticed she couldn't stop smiling, apparently. 'I have my reasons.' she replied, looking sideways, but continuing to grin. This time she almost didn't blush when Jory called her beautiful. Almost. Compliments started to feel natural. They were getting there.
'I just said it as a joke, but it WOULD be entertaining.' Finding Gwen a boyfriend-tremendous fun! 'I'm seriously starting to consider it. Then we could double-date!'. One step at a time, Ari, one step at a time.
He was being such a gentleman! Gallantry wasn't dead, after all. Some boys still held their girlfriends' chairs for them. Luckily, Jory was one of them. 'Thank you.' Ariadne said and sat down, glancing at the menu. 'How about a couple of cream teas?' Yes, it was the most expensive thing on the menu, but it included scones, jam, cream, and most importantly for a Brit, tea. If they bought a cake and a beverage separately, the total amount would probably be higher. Ari was a practical girl.
When she finally looked up from behind the menu, she noticed the exquisite flower in front of her. 'It's beautiful!' she gushed. 'How did you know roses were my favourite flowers?' She was really impressed. This was SO romantic! 'I'm so lucky to call myself your girlfriend.' That she was well aware of.
'I want to know as much as possible about you, so tell me something I don't know yet.' the Gryffindor encouraged Jory, prepared to spill some of her own secrets if asked.
