Maxwell sighed. "I mean...I just, I don't know what to do. I guess i'll just have to move on since it's what she wants...I won't tell her anything, i get the feeling we won't really be as close as we used to be...ever." He said with the feeling that he might never get her back.

"Well no offense, Maxwell, but I would of been mad if i found out that my boyfriend was hitting on girls when I thought we were still together..." She looked at her brother, "But that could just be the 'i hate boys' feeling i am having." Tay shrugged.

Maxwell sighed. "Tay, she was gone for three months and didn't even try to write and i was just supposed to assume we were together still? I didn't even know if she was alive...But i thought Min would want me to move on and try to be happy...apparently the three months i spent without her wasn't enough...I mean i barely saw Ariana, it meant nothing.."

Tay sighed, "I know, bro... but us girls arent rational a lot of the time." She laughed and hugged him. "Remember that, okay?"

"I know...i just...I don't know, maybe it just hurts more now that she's within my reach, knowing it was my fault and all, you know?"

Tay nodded, "Yeah, trust me I know." She gave her brother a hug.

Maxwell hugged her back and nodded. "Yeah...Tell me did she mention any other guys?" He asked desperate for information.

Tay sighed and debated, "Max..." She shook her head. "No she hasnt... not to my memory..."

Maxwell sighed. "I know...you think i'm an idiot don't you?" He asked knowing he was a bit daft for wanting to know, even though whatever news he'd hear would hurt.

Tay shook her head, "No I dont think of you as idiot just in love with a girl that you arent dating... Are you usion Elliot to get over Mins, Max?"

Maxwell sighed and shook his head. "No, Tay...I really do like her...I'm still a little stuck on Min and i'm not trying to get over her at the moment, i tried and failed...i'm more ignoring my feelings.."

Tay stood up rapidly, causing the chair to crash onto the floor behind her. She threw up her hands and gave Maxwell a look, "What is with boys?!? 'Oh I like this one but I like this one too'." Taylor snarled and crossed her arms, "How can you possibly like more than one girl at a time?"

Maxwell sighed. "It's not like that...I mean i thought Min was gone...so i spent time with Elliot and i liked her...but then Min came back and i wasn't over her...I mean i can't explain it, Tay i wish it was simpler but it's not...I'm sorry." He said with his head down, he knew he was really in the same position as Damon, only he didn't have a chance with Min unlike Damon did with Taylor.

Tay straighten the chair and sat back down. She glanced down, "Sorry for going off..." Taylor sighed.

Maxwell shook his head. "No it's okay...I don't mean to seem to insensitive over this...I just don't know what to do...I mean Min wants me to move on and for us to just be friends and see other people. And part of me doesn't want to, but at the same time i want to make her happy still even though we're not together. And I really do like Elliot, I'm not using her at all...is that how it seems?" He asked confused by his own actions.

Tay sighed, "I dont know anymore, Maxwell... I havent known for a while." She frowned and glanced away, "I wish I knew... it had seem like I could help you with these problems before but..." Taylor sighed again and trailed off.

Maxwell nodded. "I understand...maybe right now, it's best we move on and focus on what's best for us...so they can't hurt us anymore.." He said knowing he'd never really move on, some part of him would always love Minerva.

Tay sighed, "I dont know..." She grimaced, "I am debating whether to transfer back to Beauxbatons..." Taylor trailed off, looking away from her brother.

Maxwell shook his head. He didn't need two sisters there. "You can't go...Don't leave me here, you're like the only friend i've got left..everyone else is on my bad side and i know i can trust you...I know that's selfish but we need each other, Tay." he said knowing it was true, right now they had to depend on each other.

Tay sighed and looked at him. She nodded, knowing that he was right, "Okay... I guess I just wanted to run away from my troubles anyways... I cant leave you here alone though... and I need you as well." Taylor leaned into her brother and buried her head in his chest.

Maxwell nodded and wrapped his arms around her. "We'll get through it, Sis. Together...it's like Dad always says 'Alone we're strong but together we're invincible.' We just have to work together.."

Taylor nodded, "Dad is a wise man..." She sighed and just stayed, leaning into him still. "You and I will always be a team it seems." Tay smiled up at him and giggled.

Maxwell nodded. "I guess we are...but i can live with that." He said knowing he couldn't ask for a better team mate.

Tay smiled, "I can live with that too." She laughed and hugged him, "Since you are the best team mate that I know..." Taylor looked up at him.

Maxwell smiled and hugged her back. "Good, cause you're stuck with me for life." He looked at the stack of books. "So...what can i do to help you get over him?" He asked.
