Well at least she wasn't that mad anymore. He smiled, hearing her and leaned in and dared to place a small kiss on her cheek. "You wouldn't be a girlfriend if you weren't a little crazy about something .. " he teased. Pulling back, he let his hand fall from her cheek and used it to take her other hand. "Tell me how can I make up for my mistake?" |
Awwww he kissed her cheek and took her hand. BLUSH! Addy squeezed his hand slightly and leaned forward resting her forehead against his. CUTE. That is what he was. "No need to make up for anything. Just keep me company for a while," she said with a snort of laughter. Hehehe. That is all she wanted. REALLY. She hated being lonely. |

Those letters do show up together a lot don't they..." She wondered if she should tell him he was on the right track with her puzzle but she figured he already knew he was doing it right. "Sorry, it's so long. When I made it I didn't realize at first how many letters I was using." She watched him as he continued to unravel the riddle. |

Her head was swimming again, thinking of all of the possibilities. How does anyone narrow this down?! She tried not to panic and went back to her notes. "Okay, one letter words. Negative. Next, three letter words like you said... AND or THE...Wait a minute. Your puzzle has almost the same thing twice except for two words!" What on earth? Song lyrics? "Well maybe the first words are AND and THE." She started to change all of the B's to N's, F's to D's, E's to T's, D's to H's, H's to E's. Then she saw there was a one letter word that she had overlooked and started all over again. SPOILER!!: Eliza The boy didn't say much as Eliza spoke her thoughts aloud, but he did give her a questioning look as she mentioned something about no one letter words. He was sure there was.. did he make a mistake in writing it? Ethan looked over Eliza's shoulder and his eyes scanned the puzzle. No.. it was there.. she must have overlooked it.. He was about to point it out when he saw that she had noticed and began changing things around. Hmm.. she seemed a bit frustrated with it. Maybe he could help her in the right direction without really telling her the answer. "Okay.. let's start again, because when you started over.. you made some of the Ls in the puzzle actual Ls.." Did that make sense? He wrote the original out for her again.. then changed the Js to Ls and the Ds to As. "You were right about the Ds.. they are As." You know that the letter in front of it must be a vowel.. And this word that has L for the second letter? The first letter would probably one that goes with L to make a letter blend.. and the one after the L would have to be a vowel.." Did that help any? Hopefully.. but he could still help if she needed it.. that's what he was there for. |
