The thought of the challenge between them made Emilia smile. She could use a good distraction, and her competitive side managed to down everything else out. This would be fun.
She laughed at his statement and wink. When they weren't bickering, their teasing back and forth was quite amusing. "Now, the true question is, where did you train on the train?" she asked, grinning at the play on words. "Depending on where you were, that has an affect on how much good training you got," she said, propping her chin on her hands once more. This was just too entertaining.
"You'll be teaching me?" she repeated, a smirk automatically slipping onto her lips. "Well, I will be sure to wear padding, but I advise you to wear something you don't mind getting dirty... because I'm going to sweep the floor with you," she replied.
For the first time it seemed that they were carrying on a conversation without stepping on any toes. They were both in good spirits and Will was seeing a different side of her. Emilia could definitely hold her own, that was for sure.
As she asked where he had been training on the train he laughed. "What do you think I would cop out in train inside a compartment or something?" He asked her shaking his head. "No. One thing that you'll learn about me Emilia, is that i never take the easy way out" he said giving her a handsome grin. "Where else was their to go than on the roof" He said with a wicked smiled spreading over his lips
Will nodded his head as Emi told him that she would be sweeping the floor with him. "Oh we will have to see my dear" He told her. That was the last thing that he would let happen.
Oakey's face was turning a bright red from anger, He knew the rules of a duel, Vickers and Louisa just had to go all Ravenclaw on him and describe them anyways. He knew the rules! He just wanted to here Elijah accept it so he could bring it up to a Staff to officiate, just not there Head of House. Hadley wouldn't be to pleased to hear two of her Puffers wanted to duel each other to settle a year old dispute.
He took a step back as Dodo Face gave him the answer that he didn't want to hear. "I'm not little anymore! I practically reach your nose!". Oakey had half a mind to just flip his wand out and hex Elijah back Hogsmeade Platform. The other half listened to Louisa. "Well, I was going for one of my wa..."
...Did Elijah just interrupt him mid-rant!
This took Oakey above and beyond action! Instead he skipped right to revenge. The gears in his head began to turn, "I'll tell you later Louisa. That's right Oakey just figured out a way to make Elijah duel him.
He turned around and sat back down at his seat beside Laura who had began to sing, he just closed his eyes and listened to her...headache inducing vocals. At least it was better than than Elijah's baboon screeches.
"Good evening to you too F.F." Oakey said to his House Ghost. "I've had better." Oakey answered the Fat Friars question on the Feast with a long face. This by far, was the worst. He had never felt so belittled and defeated.

Elijah was his best bud and all and would gladly brave through the horrors of hell with him, but there are just some things that should be off limits to the imagination....
Speech totally fails him now. As Elijah and Oakey continued to bicker this Ravenclaw gaze rolls up to the enchanted ceiling with its its miserable weather, mouthing out Why? Somebody up there seems to enjoy messing up his life lately...
And suddenly the bickering stopped, and Vickers shifted his gaze to find Oakey taking his seat. "Well.... got that out of our system have we?" He smiles optimistically at their group, but the smile melts away when he sets his gaze back to the Head Girl. Nope, apparently theres still one more thing....

Louisa's cheeks started burning when Elijah went on and on AND ON about how she didn't want to miss this "stud". Little did he know that she knew perfectly well what kind of "stud" Elijah was talking about, and no, mister fraud Louisa didn't want to miss that. Not without some fighting, anyways. "Do you come with a mute button? ELIJAH, shut up for a second, okay!!" GEEZ, her face was burning and her nerves were definitely not at ease today. The Ravenclaw sighed, wiped the untouchable blush off her face and rubbed her temples a bit before lifting her gaze to see Oakey settling down in his seat, solemn.
Okay.. lecture... right.. she cleared her throat, worked really really really hard on NOT thinking of stuff her mind kept thinking of thanks to the fraud Huffie over here, and started, "I don't care enough to lecture people about their studies, by the way. This is just... a fun fact about Louisa." She waved her hand and then moved to the side so that Vickers and Elijah were standing in front of her, "I never, ever, in my life believed that there is this level of idiocy and recklessness where two people sneak into a place full of officials and out of the blue claim the identity of other officials." She was scowling, switching her glare from the mastermind of this criminal act to the taller hawttt 'claw without lingering on his face or eyes because that was grumpy-mood killer. "Did you even think of how the rest of the night could go like? No, the rest of the term since you two actually walked in and sat with us!" Throwing her arms up in disbelief, "How are you going to explain to the others when Lewis and Spike actually show up in class or during the feast! What if someone calls upon them and THEY answer? How exactly are you going to go on through the term like this!? What do I have to say when they interrogate me!!" PANIIIIC! DISASTER IS BREWING.
Good. It appeared Oakey had given up on that ridiculous duel thing, although he had expected him to blabber on about it for far longer and in turn hurt Elijah's head even further. In fact, it was a little suspicious that the little twerp had given up so easily... hmm...
ANYWAY.
Louisa was talking now and they were about to get to the bottom of what was so important that she felt the need to strangle him with his own shirt collar. As the Head Girl went on and on, Elijah's left eyebrow rose higher and higher. THIS was what the girl had her knickers in a twist about? Elijah had practically forgotten about the occurrences on the train already.
When the Ravenclaw girl was quite finished, Elijah returned a smile back to his face. "On a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you like a bad boy, Louisa? I mean what Vickers did was preetttyyyyy bad boyish. IS that why you want to talk about this? Is it because you were so attracted to Vickers and his rule breaking?"
Elijah practically bounced on the spot, shaking Vickers as he did so, "See, Vickers? What have I been telling you all this time?" There wasn't really an answer to that question, it just seemed like something he should say. "Okay, Louisa, now that we know the real reason for this charade of yours," because the only thing Elijah found funnier than Professors trying to reprimand him, was students practically his own age trying to do so, "we can start talking about when your first date will be. Hogsmeade is good because it has the coffee shops and the pub and stuff... but perhaps an abandoned classroom with a house elf made picnic? That sounds barfingly romantic!"
Elijah stared, first, at Vickers then at Louisa and continued to do so, back and forth, beaming. "I think this is awesome that this is happening right now guys and," he took a deep sigh, his hand on his heart, "I would just like to say, you are both very, very welcome." Stepping forward, he placed an arm around each of the 'Claws necks and hugged tightly, "You two will be SO cute together."
"OI! PUFFS! Can I get a round of applause for our new cute 'Claw couple?"

Alex was getting tired of sitting still and growing hungrier by the minute. She decided to visit other tables since there were friends she hadn't seen yet. Arriving at the Hufflepuff table, she saw one of her compartment-mates from the train. Alex walked over to her seat.
"Hi Sophie, you made it". Alex was glad to see that the first year had arrived safely. "What do you think of Hogwart so far? I know it can be a bit overwhelming ar first." Sophie had that typical first year look of awe and amazement on her face. Have you seen Kate yet?". Alex was a little concerned about her other new friend from the train.
Sophie was glad to see someone she already knew. I think hogwarts is amazing! I can't believe I'm really here. No I haven't seen Kate yet.

Emilia felt her smile spreading as Will spoke. He was person after her own heart- never taking the easy way, and going for the challenge. And, he repeated her thoughts as if they had rehearsed them- strange. "Well, you never know. Not everyone is up to that sort of challenge... or would even think of such a ridiculous notion," she said, her smile widening. "I must have missed you though, for I was training on the roof myself," she said, her smile matching his now.
Dear? She raised an eyebrow at the pet name, nonverbally calling him out on it. There was no way she was a 'dear'. "We certainly will," she said with a pleasant smile. It was bound to be an interesting encounter. "So what else do you do besides challenge girls to sword fights?" she teased, completely switching topics to throw him off.
"That's good to hear. Nessie needs all the good players she can get. My favorite position is Beater although I did play Chaser last year. With all the good players trying out, who knows I may not be picked this time." Alyssa told the older girl. Alyssa felt a little sad when she said those words because she had a sick feeling that she might not make the team this year. But as long as their team had the best team, she didn't care. She just wanted what was best for their House.
Belle listened and comforted her. "Aww you will make it on the team, you just have to think positive is all." She smiled. "I didn't think i would make it was i was a first year and i did." she assured her.

Annabelle hugged her tightly and let go. Then after she mentioned the badge she remembered when she got it. "Oh yeah i was really shocked and i was surprised they picked me to be honest with you." Belle said. When Ella mentioned her term, she was honest, "Um for this year i am kind of nervous because i will have to take my NEWT'S at the end of the year. I will be studying my butt off that is for sure. But at least you will not have to worry about them." Belle assured her. "Take it in not worrying about your exams for a while." Belle giggled.

"Yeah, that's me." she gave her a nod. "You're welcome to call me Ness or Nessie though." Most people around the school did. "You're Annabelle, right?" That's what she remembered the new prefect had said on the train.

This day had just gotten a lot more awesome, which had hadn't thought was possible. Pouting once Harlan had let go and taken a seat. The smell of her shampoo lingered though; it was heavenly.
Sighing, he seated himself beside her and started helping himself to the food. Everything looked yummy, so he didn't bother being stingy. After a long train ride, his stomach was practically growling. "You knew, huh? I had no idea." Maybe she knew him better than he knew himself. "And I think Mason is a Hufflepuff too."
Nodding, he looked up the table.

They were so miniture and they looked sooooo pinchable, but she knew they'd be scard beyond their minds if she had to pinch any of them.
"Welcome new, badgers!" she said a little loudly to make sure the younger ones could hear. She would have wlecomed them personally, but she'd have more time to do that later, and now she was too busy looking at someone she was a little surprised to see. She was still happy with who it was though.
It was Logan and he was walking their way, which meant he was sorted into the yellow house. A wide smile formed on Nessie's face. This was great, no even better than great. She watched him hug the other girl from the platform and automatically started blushing when she got a proper view of he's face.
"We..We.." she tried again, but went all shy at Logan and instead turned the other way, pretending not to say anything.O_O
And saw Ness. Smiling, he waved at her as he listened to what she had to say. Though apparently it wasn't much. Oh well. He winked at her and tried to get a good look at the badge she was wearing.
"Wonderful as always, my dear," the Friar replied, grinning broadly at the young 'Puff.
That was good to hear. Renesmee smiled back at the ghost. "I think tonight's feast has been better than previous ones." She had to admit that. Yes maybe she had, had a busy day with all the chaos, but she was really looking forward to the new term ahead and it made her excited about the feast too.
Hopefully the feasts and terms to come would get better and better. That's what seemed to be happening so far and Nessie had no problem with it continuing to be like that.

Yep. *nod*
She did, Renesmee was what her parents called her and she didn't like them too much. They weren't the greatest of parents, they were strict, posh and never paid enough attention to there kids. Ness managed to cope with them somehow, but it didn't make her like them any more.
"Yeah, I preffer it, but if you would like to call me Renesmee I suppose I won't mind." Oakey did that and it wouldn't hurt if someone else began doing it too. "Belle...that's like Belle in beauty and the Beast." It was a random fact, and it was possible this girl didn't even know what it was, but she said it anyways.

Wow, he knew the Quidditch Captain.
More blushing!
Renesmee looked back at Logan for just one second only to see that he was winking at her. This caused her face to go bright red, redder than her hair almost. Why? Why did she always have to blush around him? It might have been what happened on the train, but she felt silly because of it, and she understood why he'd nicknamed her tomato. It suited her when she was around him.
Looking the other way, seemed to be a bad idea though, because it meant turning your back to someone and that was rude, especially when it was a friend. Trying not to blush anymore, she turned around and looked at Logan from the corner of her eye. She could see he was looking at her, and that too wasn't helping with the redness.
"He..hey." she said really quietly and then bit her lip as she looked absent-mindedly at her plate.
[b]See? Even he thought the name was pretty silly. There was no way that she was going to let anyone with the word puffer attached scare her. Nope; it just wasn't possible!
Alexa burst into wild laughter when the boy puff out his cheeks after mentioning something about pufferfishes. After a while the laughter toned down and became little giggles. "I don't think that will help either, in fact I think adding the word fish just makes it sillier...you sound like a rare Japanese delicacy, not a threat." She shook her head. This was clearly why they were targeted...in a good way though. They drew people with their funniness.
She blinked twice, wondering if he was being serious. He couldn't have been but she would humour him by answering and she would even do it with a smile. [b]"Of course I'm glad! I'm a Gryffie and proud! ROOOOAAARRRR!" yeah she had to add that last part because she was pretty proud of being a lion.
"And so I guess we're pretty much happy with where we've been placed, yes?" It seemed that way.
"So have you started talking to other students as yet?" She asked curiously with a wide smile.
Dorian was pleased to see she was laughing and wasn't backing away slowly. He did a small bow, laughing at himself. Note to self: you were not a pufferfish in your past life. "As long as I avoid people with sushi knives, I should be fine."
He was glad he wasn't a Gryffindor- she was lovely, but he didn't think he had the roaring ability. "That lion was certainly better than my pufferfish."
Ah. Had he been talking to other people? He shyed back down. "Well, I did sort of talk to a Ravenclaw boy before we got on the boats. I'm not the best at starting conversations, I guess." That was the understatement of the century. He was as nervous as you could get. Putting on a brave face for the girl, he smiled again. "Besides, most people are already talking and I don't want to interrupt."
Ella let out a small sigh of relief. So no one had been hurt? That was good but wait...Ronnie had been puking? Frown. "She's alright, yeah? Ronnie, I mean. It's never a good thing...the um...the puking." Ells had had headaches before but none so serious they made her sick. That really didn't sound very good. And Adam? Who was Adam? "I don't know an Adam." She said thoughtfully, trying to think who that might be.
Ameliah nodded. "Yeah, she's loads better! Her mood was dented for a while, but we fixed that!" Cue a glance to the now happy and laughing Ronnie. "She's jus' tired now is all."
ELLA DIDN'T KNOW ADAM YET?? "He's an old friend of mine from when I was a runaway. He just transferred from Beauxbatons... well, he calls it Sneezey School cause he can't pronounce it. I'm dating him now, Harvs and I broke up over the summer." Might as well mention that too, before Ella got mad at Adam.

"I do sometimes forget that some of you aren't used to me popping up! No way is it your fault, my dear," the Friar smiled, bobbing some more and shimmering in the candle light.
"Very much so. Always lovely to meet new and returning Badgers!"
"Good evening, young Lion!" the Friar boomed out down the table as he was greeted by the red house child.
Eventful?
"I've heard nothing, my dear. What on earth happened? I assume it has to do with why some of you look a little....damp, for want of a better word." "The trouble with Mozart, my dear," in the context of this feast anyway, perfectly lovely music. "Is that you need instruments to play most of his pieces. And all we have is our voices. "Ahhh, good evening young Prefect! That is a nice shiny badge you have there. Congratulations dear!"
He really would need to be more careful when making his entrance. Last thing he wanted to do was scare the poor children.
"Forgive me, young man. Nate? Nice to meet you. You can call me Friar, everybody does!" And Fat. "Splendid, I'm splendid. Thank you for asking."
F.F? He liked it.
He didn't like that long face though. Not at all.
"Why so sad looking, young Oakey? Back to Hogwarts - what could be more exciting? Come on now, tell the Friar what the trouble is..."
"Wonderful as always, my dear," the Friar replied, grinning broadly at the young 'Puff.
Ameliah GRINNED hard. THE HUFFIE GHOST WAS HEEEEEEREEEE!!! The Fat Friar was much more nice than the Claw ghostie. She always was mourning something. Ameliah didn't like that kinda attitude.
"HEEEEEEEELLOOOOOOOOO!!!" Ameliah said happily, waving.

Harlan chuckled and helped herself to some food, seriously this school was letting people starve for soooo long before the food came! But it was good nevertheless. Harlan assumed that it must be good if it was made by magic and all that fancy stuff.
'You didn't?' She asked as she ate some chicken. 'Me either... but I knew you'd be a Hufflepuff as soon as I was put in here.' The Hufflepuff nodded, she just knew it. She was clever like that.. 'Because we are both.. destined for great awesome stuff!'
Harlan listened to Logan tell her that Mason was a Hufflepuff too and relaxed. [b]'PERFECT!'[/s] She half yelled it in her excitement.
Once she realised that she managed a grin at Logan and returned her attention to her very yummy food. 'Good food, eh?'

Smooth, Dorian, smooth.
Lex laughed even harder at his sushi knife comment. This one was a funny one wasn't he? "Oh come on, I'm sure you could take 'em. You know, you'd just have to go all big and bloat then try a puffer-fish roar." Wait...did puffer-fishes roar...? Meh, she was sure he could pull it off. He'd be like one of those cool puffer-fishes that fell in radio-active slime then came out cool roaring powers or something!
She giggled a bit then shrugged. "I've had years of practice. My step-mother hates when I make noise--and yes she counts talking as noise-- so I use to go around roaring all over the house!" Anything to ruin the woman's day was considered by Lex and usually done too.
"Waiiitt...that Ravenclaw boy..was he trying to convince everyone that his boat was the best?" She remembered a boy doing that and she would have shoved him in the lake to quiet down but of course she was trying to be good so she didn't. Then she gave him a puzzled look. "So then, how do you expect to make friends if you decide that they're all too busy to try talking to." She shook her head. "You've got it all wrong my friend." Yes he was a friend whether he wanted to be or not. "All you have to do is go to them and give them the cutest look ever then just start talking; if they don't hate you for being a firstie then it'll make for some good conversation. Or barge in among some other firsties, they don't generally seem to mind." She should know, she had done a lot of barging.

She was pretty sure that she would make a bloody mess of anything she put her hands to since she was still unable to completely wrap her head around the fact that she was a witch. Jordan looked up at Ari with the most embarrassed look on her face before saying,
"Im really not sure, this whole thing is very new to me."
"Oh so are you muggleborn then? My mum was a muggle so I'm half," Ariella said with a smile on her face, she loved the muggle world, she visited the little muggle town everyday and played with the children, "Well, if that's the case do you got any questions or something you want to know about in the wizarding world? I don't know a lot about school but I know some!"
The more and more that Will talked to this girl the more convinced he was that they were going to be friends. Even if they weren't friends they would have some sort of relationship, for all he knew she may become is arch rival by the end of the term. He listened as she spoke about some people not being up to the challange. With that he leaned across the table and whispered to her. "Let me share a secret with you. There isn't a challenge that I'm not up to" He told her with a wicked handsome grin. Then she tried to tell him that she was also on top of the roof. "Of course you didn't see me!" He responded. "That's how good I am. Like a ninja" He told her with a single nod of his head.
William could easily tell that Emilia did not like being called dear. His mind was quickly and easily made up from that point that she would be called dear as often as possible. He loved to do little things that drove others crazy. As she asked what else he liked to do he was slightly caught off guard. Who goes and changes the subject right in the middle of talking about something different. He thought about his answer for a moment, not sure if he should be honest with her or not. He didn't really know her too well yet. Finally he decided just to go with the truth. "I like to draw and sketch" he told her. He loved art, it was one of his secret passions.
Alexa couldn't help but smile at the surprise on DJ's face. Then he asked about another spell. She thought and thought about other spells, but since she had no older siblings nor cousins, or even friends she didn't know any other spells. She shrugged, "No other ones that can do stuff to people. I read about some in my books, but have never tried them. Mum would have killed me if she caught me trying them on her or dad." She looked around and giggled to herself, "I thought I would be locked in my room forever when I gave her pimples."
Dylan watched her closely as she tried to think of another spell before giving a shrug and told him no, oh wells at least he had one that she could teach him but doing that in an open area like this would be very tough. "Yeah that's true I guess she would have" he saw her giggle to herself as she went on, he couldn't help but chuckle as well.. he would have to take a trip to the library.. ugh.. the library.. hated it.. but he had no choice if he wanted names and techniques of more spells.
"Well its good that you weren't locked in your room" he got closer to her "That way you can teach me that spell and we can pimple the people around the school" he had to finally chuckle as he had held it in through that final sentence "Well secretly of course.. like from hiding behind a tree.. oh that is going to be funny" he imagined that
"They would be looking all around the place for the source of the spell but they will never find us" yeah cause they were good at hiding of course, well they would need to be if they were going to continue their wand practicing in this way. So they would have to find good hiding places from which to proceed with their spell practice, well that was if Alexa wanted to do this with him.. if not it was fine with him he would continue on his own.

Ronnie walked over to the Hufflepuff table. She was feeling a little happier that she wasn't so grumpy anymore, being at the feast and with all her friends really cheered her up. But none of that had helped her poooor aching head or tummy ache.
Hmph.
As she walked near the table, she scanned it for any familiar faces.

Alexa shook her head, "Oh it sounded worse then it was I didn't even get hurt." She then gave an odd face, "There is an evil healer? Here? Where?" she started looking around with a bit of fear in her eyes, "Does she do mean things to kids or something? Shouldn't a healer be nice?"

She hadn't done it in a long time. Then she looked around "Who could we try it on first?" she wondered if he had someone in mind. If not she thought of a few, but could she try it on people that had been nice to her already. She wasn't sure.

"Very much so. Always lovely to meet new and returning Badgers!"
Alexa looked at him, "Well I knew your kind existed I just had never seen any before, it is really cool to see you all here though." she said looking around. Alexa not having much social time always spoke her mind without thinking. "Have any of you ever ran into a student? Does it feel weird?" She looked at him and smiled with wonder. "Well I'm glad you are having fun and I'm glad your so nice." She smiled again before picking up her pumpkin juice.
Alexa looked in shock at him, "meaner..." she stiffened at his words a bit and played with the food on her plate. "Well I guess I'm glad they blend in." she said a little disappointed, how will she ever know if they are muggles if they look like her. So much for that interesting fun. Then she saw a ton of House Elves running around, "Do they always run around the students?" That was odd to her, the house elf at her house was never seen, expect when called.
Maxwell smiled even though she seemed a bit scared. "Yes, meaner. And i haven't done anything mean to you yet so i think you can trust me, if i wanted to mess with you, you would already know it." He said and then looked around at the house elves. He shook his head. "No, this is odd...there normally aren't any elves out here during the feast."

As soon as the Headmistress finished her speech, food appeared everywhere. Awarlesta's eyes grew wide at the heavenly sight. Her stomach growled in urgency, "No need to say anymore, tummy!!" She tore into the food, stuffing as much as she could. OM NOM NOM!!

Alexa looked at him oddly, was this boy really trying to say he could be mean to her. "Well I wouldn't be mean to me if I were you. That just would not be very nice." she threw her hands around her and looked at him. Then got distracted by the elves again. "Well they seem to be carrying something. They are interesting creatures aren't they? I just wish they could talk more clearly." she thought of her own house elf that was always speaking in broken English.

Maxwell laughed. "Well being nice isn't really the point of being mean, but don't worry. I'm not mean to my friends." He said and continued watching the elves. "They are interesting...but you get used to it after a while." He said referring to the broken english.

Dylan couldn't help but smile as she said that they would have to try it sometime, so that meant that they would be doing spellwork together.. just for fun? good.. better than being on your own! "Yeah it will be a really fun time, yeah soon" very soon.. cause he couldn't to try it out! Seriously! when would this feast end and let them explore the castle and do a bit of spell practice!
He saw her look around before she asked him if he had someone in mind, he looked around too, he then leaned in closer "Well I do have a whole houseful of people in mind, and they wear green!" yup he was talking about that house, he then moved away "Do you have anyone in mind? that you would like to try this on?" he asked her.. cause he was not the only one that was going to be having fun with this she would be as well.
That's what seemed to be happening so far and Nessie had no problem with it continuing to be like that.Yep.
More blushing!
Belle gaped at her, "Omg that is actually what my mother named me after. She named me after Belle from Beauty and the Beast. It was her all time favorite fairy tale." she was excited someone understood that her name came from a muggle movie. "I always grew up in the muggle world too, i get top marks in muggle studies because of my family and their muggle ways." Belle said with a little smile. "My dad is pure muggle but my mom is the only witch in the family." She felt a little comfortable with Nessie to reveal a little bit of her family.
