"Hi Minnie, thanks" Sarah said as she kicked her shoes off and sat down with her stockinged feet on the blancket. She was still drinking her cocoa and she wished she could contribute more to the picnic. "Can I please have the butternut soup" Sarah asked.. She loved Butternut soup and this one looked nice and thick... and that was the way Sarah liked it. Thick butternut soup rocked! It is was perfect for a morning like this.

Sutton laughed along with Minnie as she explained more in detail about Edmund and meeting him and thinking he was cute. "Well, glad to know the truth! You're taking this much better than I would if I found out someone was going around telling people I liked someone," she said with admiration. Truthfully, she'd probably be livid if someone was saying things like that without her permission.

As the young lion joined them, Sutton smiled at her warmly. "Hi, Sarah! I'm Sutton! Nice to meet you!" She gave Landon a playful little nudge. If the boy was going to sit with them, he needed to have some manners.

Minerva smiled at Sarah, "Sure" she passed the soup to her. "This is fun. I like not having tables really." she didn't mind them not being there at all. It was fun doing something different. "So what's new with everyone?" Minerva looked around the group as she took another bite of her soup.

She smiled at Sutton, "There really isn't anything to get mad at. I blushed and was acting weird, so she probably did think I liked him, but like I said Ed's cute and super nice, but a little to old for me. Now if I could make it work with Ethan or Oakey, then well.. that would be alright." she felt herself blush a bit.

"Hey Sutton, nice to meet you too!" Sarah said, splaying her thin legs in front of her."This is an awesome idea." The puffers were her kind of people...making the best of every situation. Looking at Minnie she said "me too, I don't have to worry about sitting correctly and things... I like sitting with my feet nearby, not on the floor" as if on cue she hugged her legs close. "Nothing much by me really... really everything is just neutral... some strange things going on though. Like the vanishment of the tables and such." Sarah said getting the soup and dishing out a bowl of soup for her. The orange liquid warmed the inside and she slurrep it up merrily. This was AWESOME!

Laura walked into the great hall and suddenly saw Anya at the Hufflepuff table, so she had asked her friend to be here but she hadn't really expected her to show up, she was suppost to meet her at the lake a few days back but she never turn up though she had met a nice boy instead but still that didn't count.

Laura walked upto Anya and folded her arms. "Anya, where have you been?" Yeah that is right Laura wanted a good excuse as to why she was left in the cold on her own, Anya had one right and if she said it was that Jake fellow then Laura would scream, when she had been going out with Oakey she still made time for Anya.

Anya grinned seeing Laura. She gave her a nice long hug hoping it would cause her friend to forget she was angry. "Quidditch." she said automatically. And Jake. Mostly Jake. But quidditch took up the time that she wasn't with Jake... so... yeah, it was Jake's fault.

"So how are you doing? We haven't caught up since before the holidays."

Laura looked at Anya and pouted. "Your lying." Laura knew that, she had Quidditch Practices too and no one had Quidditch Practices all the time. "You've been hanging out with that Jake guy haven't you, ever since you met him, you've abandoned all your old friends including your besties." Laura sighed.

Laura did though return the hug that Anya gave her she wasn't that mean even if she was upset her bestie was lying to her. "I've been good, been practice quidditch, I can't wait for the next Quidditch match." Laura giggled. "And I've been doing homework and reading lots of reading lately." Laura nudged her friend. "I don't think I need to ask how you've doing." Laura had a funny feeling she knew, her friend was on cloud 9 right.

"Yeah... we broke up for about a month... and we got back together right before the holidays ended... so things have... been good. Just been adjusting." Anya said with a nod. And things were already way better this time around. Maybe all they needed was a break to find out how much they meant to each other?

"Ooooh. Homework. Boring." She must have not been a good friend at all if her friends were resorting to homework in their spare time.

"How's the boy life?" she asked. She'd heard rumors... but she wanted Laura to talk herself about everything.

She nodded. "Yeah. I'm great actually."

Laura looked at Anya and sighed. "Yeah I know it is boring, but when you have nothing else to do because your friends have decided they are too busy for you and you have things on your mind then you have to do something to stop yourself going crazy." Laura looked at Anya and then she looked down at her feet when she talked about boys, she knew who she ment.

"We split up ages ago." Laura said truthfully. "He keep calling me felicity, turns out that there's another girl in his life, I like to called her makes-everyone-feel-sick." Laura smirked that was the best name for her, "He never told me about her, I found out by accident."

Anya frowned. "Sorry." That was really all she could say. She hadn't been really good at hanging out with ANYONE.

Whoops.

She frowned more. "Yeah... I know..." News travels fast at Hogwarts. "Well... what about now? You like anyone now?" Because she should move on.

Laura looked at Anya and smiled. "I'll forgive you." Laura unfolder her arms and gave her friend a big hug. "I'm sorry if you thought I was acting mean I know you've been busy."

Laura looked at Anya and sighed. "How did you know?" Laura really wondered how her bestie new. "Yeah I have my eye on a guy who awesome and more handsome than Oakey ever was." Laura blushed as she thought about the guy.

Anya smiled and hugged Laura back. "I'll try to do better." she said with a nod. That was a promise. She knew that she was really bad at making time for everyone. But, she was gradually getting better.

She smiled and bounce a little on her heels. "Really? Who? How old is he? House? How long have you known him? Is he cute?"

Yeah. She had a lot of questions.

Laura looked at Anya. "Well we'll say no more about it then." Laura smiled as she hugged Anya again, but then she giggled as Anya asked like a million questions at once. "calm down alright, let me answers these questions before you ask any more." Laura giggled. "let's see, Yeah really." Laura started with the first answeer. "He's called Mick, he's in his fifth year and he's a Ravenclaw, I've only know him a few week and yes I think he's cute." Laura blushed at the last statement, seriously she would have to get Anya back for this. "Now it's my turn, have you and Jake kissed yet?" Laura looked at her bestie.

Anya grinned. Squee! "I want to meet him and approve." she said happily. "Does he like you? Maybe he'll take you out soon?" That would be fun!

She giggled lightly. "Yeah." She then sported a very smirky smile. "We actually kissed on our first date." Because they were officially together. And it was super romantic and cute and sweet. Really, everything a first date should be.
